I have stayed overnight at this hotel a couple of years ago, and I recently attended a conference here. The hotel is very nice, but I find the reception staff a little cold. I don't mind paying for parking ( afterall it is Toronto), but I really don't like hotels that charge for internet; I find it cheap and stingy. It really is a nice hotel, but I don't think I would stay overnight again.

This hotel is very good. The location is good, as it's relatively close to a lot of Toronto attractions. The rooms are good, they are well designed, and are relatively large. The front desk service was good, we got checked in quickly. The maid service was good; room was clean. I can't really say about the room service, I didn't get that.
The first room I had (room number 1046) presented loud noises and it seemed that there were constructions next my door . I waited 20 minutes after the contact with the front desk, but nobody came to check the situation. I contacted again with the front desk, they changed room for me : a smaller room with a old and cheap coffee maker and some hairs found inside. However, this time no more nosies and I arrived to have good nights. The breakfast is ok with no refill of coffee : the waiters chatted. Unfortunately, no upgrade for me, Gold member. I understand that is not mandatory, but just a fact :the other hotel group always do a upgrade. So this is last time that I use Hilton programme. Final personal opinion:the hotel does not deserve a 4 diamonds hotel.
Visited a friend staying over and got a peek at the room. The room was spacious with a kitchenette & living room. Very clean, very accessible location in the heart of Markham
To be perfectly honest, I didn't stay at this Hilton Hotel. I was there the same night that Justin Trudeau visited the a gathering of Chinese Liberals, on the Chinese New Year. There was a high security contingent of local, provincial and federal police forces, as well as a group of Chinese-Canadians who were demonstrating against Trudeau's recent mistreatment of them.
What I can say is that the hotel is very nice; has many accommodations; and is definitely a hotel that I would consider staying at, if I didn't already live in the area.
The hotel staff were pleasant and courteous; however, it was obvious that the conference was distracting guests and staff alike. I blame Trudeau's entourage, because they were rather imposing.
6 of us were in town for a real estate conference and had a great stay. Service was fast and friendly, accommodations were oustanding and access to get in and out were easy.
I was super impressed by the bed. Firm and fabulous!
COVID-19 Warning. I went to this hotel and my fresh room had stains on the bedsheet. I had the guy at the front desk come and look at the stain in my room and they changed my room but even the other room wasn t the cleanest. I didn t expect stains on bedsheet from Hilton specially during a pandemic. They offered me free breakfast in the morning because of the incident and when I went in the morning to get some coffee they told me that they were no longer going to give me the complementary breakfast.
Horrible pool area with eye-stinging chlorine fumes, rundown steamroom and changerooms. Poor service from dining room, housekeeping and front desk staff. Ridiculous to charge guests $10 per day when most other hotels in Markham have free guest parking. Inconvenient room location in a secondary location accessed with a long walk and not advised at time of booking. More but too much to write. Definitely not what you d expect from a premium hotel and rates of a Hilton. Lots of other hotel choices in Markham now unless you have a huge conference.
Convenient location with well maintained and organized conference area. Lots of smaller break out rooms. The catered lunch was delicious and one of the best I've had at a conference. Staff were efficient and organized.
So my fiancee and I were looking for a place to do our wedding ceremony. We came across the Hiltons & Spa hotel - it looked nice, they had what we were looking for. So i've reached out couple weeks ago, was asked to speak to event coordinator "Jyoti". I left a few messages, and have not heard back. Another week goes by, I reached out again, and this time I made it clear to the operator that we had left several messages regarding our interest to hold our wedding ceremony at the Hilton s Markham, but yet I still have not heard back. So the operator took my phone number, name, and I was advised that I would get a call back on the day of. Few days goes by and still have not yet heard from "Jyoti" or whomever is in charge in coordinating those type of events. I'm a little shocked by how the Hilton's are handling this. I'm very disappointed, don't think I'll be contacting them again.
The service here is extremely poor. Reference Carmen Johnson post.
It was just brought to my attention that they over charged my credit card. The stay was suppose to be 425.64 and I received a notification from my bank that they charged me in the amount of 528.21. So not only was my stay horrible, ( reference Carmen Johnson post) now I have to dispute this charge.
I was on the 4th floor right by the elevator. It was a good room even with wedding guests and parties going on we couldn't hear much of it when on the bed. However, the bed itself was very soft and bouncy which we didn't like as much. The pillows were nice and plump though. Our shower head had a tendency to droop down as the water pressure decreased, which made it difficult to shower at times. Other than that our stay was very nice, the cleaning service was great and respectful.
I really love this hotel. It is clean, full kitchen we have, no smoking rooms, stuff is very friendly, very nice gym(full size). Sauna, swimming pool, bar where you can get some drinks, breakfast (free), it is very nice place. Most important for me that it is clean and all appliances like new. Also want to tell that parking coast me $10 extra dollars. And if anyone planning to come visit you they must pay for the parking. I saw people who is working on the parking lot walking around and monitoring where you go and if you pay. So don't think you the lucky one.
Huge hotel and conference centre with spa services pretty close to the 407 highway. Rooms were huge and modern, conference facilities adequate, and catering food half decent. However, I cannot figure out how a room service cutoff of 11pm, partnered with its somewhat remote location and lack of late-night delivery services, has gone overlooked for this long. Take your own food of you will be up late and you should be fine.
Better service from hotel staff and compliments from one star Quality Inn in the US where they appreciate your business. Hilton doesn't offer lobby water dispenser or jug for guests. Must buy water in plastic bottles from a vending machine (How is plastic green or ecological I don't know. Was told at reception that is the policy. ) Found empty beer cans in my room's bathroom towel shelf. Good skin care and hygiene products however.
