Rick and his crew did a fine job on my furnance replacement. The Carrier hvac system is quiet and working great.
I like the piece of mind knowing that if there is a problem ELK will take care of it.
My AC went out last Wednesday after 6 PM so I immediately gave them a call and they actually answered my call after hours! I described my situation and they new exactly what was needed to fix it. They made sure to take time out of their packed schedule to fit me in the very next day! I was back up and running in about 5 minutes after they arrived, completely AWESOME!
It s been a few weeks since my Infinity Carrier system was installed and I am very impressed. These guys were clean, professional and great to work with.

In 2004 Elk did all the new construction HVAC in our home. Two stage, three zone, Vanee?system, lower level in-floor, heated garage. In 2010 they installed a bonus room split unit.
During the past fourteen years we've had a half dozen service calls, all on time, all problem solved on first stop. Very reasonable rates. And two more "simple" issues solved - over the phone & after hours, without charge.
And I'm not even remotely related!
Rick came out and was able to scope a new system for us and was back (with Mitch to assist) within 4 days of agreeing to their quote and we were up and running. System is fantastic, and they were courteous across the board, asking about anything they needed to do, removing shoes when coming in and out, and answering any questions I had. They also took care of all rebate paperwork, and I think the house might even be a tiny bit cleaner than when they arrived, as they cleaned up everything after they were done. Their prices are competitive and fair, and for the service I'd gladly pay again, especially as everything is under warranty. There is a reason to go with the local shop on this Anoka and Ramsey!

I have had no problems or issues with the work they have done. I highly recommend. They have replace about a dozen air conditioner at the property i am manager. Has even showed up on a Sunday to fix a unit for a tenet with small child. Nice to know i can depend on Elk when needed.

very great service, furnace went out on new years day and they came out that day, furnace was behond repair, installed a new one next day at competitive price. they coverd the flooring in plastic and cleaned up perfect. Intall was clean, perfect, and proffesional looking.

Rich and his office staff were excellent. We had another company come out and their visit left us suspicious. Thankfully we reached out to ELK Mechanical HVAC for a 2nd opinion. He came in, diagnosed the issue immediately (a motor had some bearings that were "stuck" after sitting for the whole winter and all it needed was a spin to shake them loose again!) and had us up and running quickly. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous and ethical. This is a company whose information you want to keep on file for future service calls! I rarely leave reviews, but felt that people need to know that a vendor is the real deal and not a rip off artist.
Called E.L.K. to set up an appointment to get an estimate on replacing my boiler with a forced air and adding a central air unit. Had to call all day long as apparently they don't have someone answering their phones. Finally got through and scheduled an appointment for Friday night so I hurried out to my new home to make sure I was there in time. Hours later, when E.L.K. still hadn't shown up, I called the cell phone of the guy who was supposed to meet me and left a voice mail. It was never returned. So, no call and no show for the appointment. Would strongly recommend against using them. If they can't keep an appointment, don't trust them with your home
ELK is a great company to work with. They are honest, professional and very responsive. I have used them in the past for other jobs and again I needed to call on them recently. We had no AC on the hottest day of the summer and when others were telling a us a week Rich got there the next day. Rich found an issue that he said would likely lead to replacement but got us up and running. We did decide to replace the system and once again ELK was quick to respond with a very fair quote. Right in the middle of the three I did but with better equipment than the lowest. Ricky showed up on time for the install as promised and they did a fantastic job. They took care of covering the carpets and left the work area clean. I will go to no one else for all my HVAC needs.
We have been customers of ELK for years. A week and half ago during the hottest week of the year, our AC went out over the weekend and I called another company to come out to see if it was an easy fix. They told me my unit was fried and for $$$ they could fix it and I might as well replace the furnace at the same time for an additional $$$. The pitch was just too smooth, too high and they were pressuring me to make a decision right then, trying to take advantage of the fact that inside temp of our house was already in the upper 80's. I called ELK the next day and they came out and looked at it. For an amount 60% of what the other company quoted me and reassurances that I did not have to replace my furnace at this time, they were able to replace my AC and set it up so when we do replace the furnace it will all work seamlessly together. They are knowledgeable, honest and take care of their customers. Rich and Ricky are the best! #customersforlife

Rick and his partner replaced our air conditioner, upgraded our air filter attachment and related ductwork, and adjusted our vents for optimum air flow. What a difference!!! They did a fantastic job!
