Place is a joke, you come here early with the load, they make you wait until the booking time, when you come here on time, you are forced to wait until they tip others who are there before you no matter what's the booking time, poorly run establishment.
Guys delivering - beware. You can easily get a ticket while tipping and leaving the unit on the pavement, and you can't go in deeper cause the yard is full with crap.

Loved these products until yesterday. Mould on spinach and ricotta cannelloni.

Spanish chicken. Do not buy. There was paper in it. Could not eat it.

Delicious food made using the finest ingredients. Their staff are always a pleasure to work with.

10/10 . Charlie & the team have truly outdone themselves in the customer service department. I had a problem with a dish, which i got in contact about, with out doubt this is the BEST customer service experience i have ever encountered. They really did go above and beyond to rectify the problem. I couldn't recommended them and their food highly enough. Well done guys, good job...keep it up.

Charlie Bigham's Tikka Masala is the finest I have tasted in 58 years of eating Indian food. GORGEOUS flavours!! But the crinkled paper inside packaging is dreadful. You cannot serve up from it because the paper moves around, and everything becomes a mess.
The redesigned outside sleeve is pretty.

Very disappointed with meatballs al forno. The meatballs were dry and the tomato sauce was glutinous. Considering the time spent in heating the oven and cooking the dish I might as well have cooked meatballs from Ikea or Costco from scratch.

Have to say I was a bit sceptical when my husband said "I've got tea sorted!" and saw the small boxed meals......I had meatballs al forno and my husband the thai curry. Wow! So easy and by far the best 'ready meal' we've had in a long time. So filling and very tasty indeed, would highly recommend and as a quick and easy meal when you're too tired to cook after work!!

We really enjoyed the fish pie . We thought the packaging was very good too . We will buy it again.

Chicken & Mushroom Pies

Just had a fish pie, dreadful. Just a "gloop" all thick tasteless bechamile terribly disappointed, no fish or spinach. The other products we've tried have been grand.

my problem is that flavours and ingredients are good but packaging is horrid! beouf bourgignon for example shifts (especially if using home delivery moves about so when open packaging a gooey mess. so have to take out and "re pot" ant thoughts Charlie on how to solve that ? mike Johnson, Lymington, hants

Chicken Leek Pie - totally worth the price, restaurant quality. This is my first purchase, but I will definitely try other meals in the range.

So, in the past few days i have tried the Beef Stroganoff, Cottage Pie and Meatballs Al Forno. The meatballs were alright but nothing to rave about. The Stroganoff and Cottage Pie however, were fantastic and will certainly eat again. Next to try... Fish Pie.

If you re eating a Charlie Bigham s cottage pie be sure to have a small side plate beside you to spit out all of the grizzly mince. This will save you a trip up to the bin 5-10 times during your meal. I ve eaten two cottage pies this week and the experience was the same for both.

In 20 years of making my own Shepherds pies and Spag Bols using standard supermarket mince I ve never had to spit out lumps of grizzle. For high end ready meals I d advise Charlie Bighams to look at the quality of the meat they use.

I bought the chicken tikka and without reading the back put it in the freezer, it was only when i took it out to defrost i read the cooking instructions, and read the rice didnt like being frozen, i left it in fridge for 24hrs to defrost and before cooking added some water to the rice and it was fine.

Wonderful tasty food just a pity it's so expensive for an O.A.P. !

Moussaka, brilliant, all the right ingredients and nicely prepared. A very satisfying meal, as good as Greece!

I had the fish pie. The packaging of this product was fancy, which was what helped me decide to buy this product, which for what it is is a bit on the expensive side. The fish pie had lots lovely big chunks of salmon in it and creamy mash on top, however the pie as a whole was extremely salty and the sauce was thin and watery. It was just a box of salt really. Don't let the packaging fool you!

If I wanted to have that much sugar in a savoury dish (Lasagne) I would have bought a pudding/desert/sweet. First mouthful HORRIBLE and so on. What is this unhealthy fascination for sugar except profit? Seriously bad.

The new recipe vegetable lasagne is awful.A mess of mushroom stock and lentils-why on earth did they change the recipe?
It was a proper vegetable meal before.
I wondered why I couldn't find the old meal for a few weeks.

Really liked the Chicken Tikka Masala, a cut above the usual supermarket offerings.

Had the Chicken and mushroom pie for our dinner, must say they have to be the best we have ever had both at home or out

Was recommended to try your meals - bought a Roasted Aubergine & Halloumi - Oh My it was so good ate far too much and you have a convert

Absolutely love Charlie Bingham s - especially the chicken tikka & chicken jalfrezi curries. But PLEASE can you make sure that all the supermarkets etc, who stock your delicious food, who do online deliveries, train their staff how to pack them properly? We are fed up of constantly receiving them (every time we order), either upside down or on their side - but never the right way up! It makes it impossible to cook them in their proper containers. It s common sense, but the people packing them seem to be completely lacking of any! They re not cheap, but extremely good quality and we have them for a treat, but very rarely do we ever receive them in good condition and have to send them back as damaged. It says on each item that they must be stood the right way up so what s the problem here I wonder?
I m unable to do my own shopping, as I m disabled, so rely completely on supermarket online shopping, so it is most frustrating and annoying that this keeps happening. I ve cancelled my yearly pass with Sainsbury s recently, as they are a joke and now Ocado are doing the same - it must be costing a small fortune in wasted food
So please Charlie Bingham s, can you have a word with these inbiciles, so we can enjoy your delicious food? Thank you

Had the chicken pies quite a few times , but tonight it was just all sauce & no chicken + had a sweet & sour a few nights before & it was actually the worse one I ve ever had, I won t be recommending this over priced rubbish ever again

The eastern Europeans in goods in are ignorant useless and rude and I don't think they have the mental capacity to integrate with zoo chimps.

The lasagne is the best lasagne I ve ever eaten, better than any restaurant I ve been too!

Absolutely love the fish pie. Often buy fish pies as don't eat meat. Tried most available and definitely CB's is the best by far.

Fabulous meal, my partner loves his curries and he said the Chicken.Tikka Masala was quite simply the best he tasted. When it was cooking in the oven the aroma that filled the kitchen was mouth watering! Well done Charlie its a 10 from Dave

I told her it was my late my mum s own recipe.
She was very impressed.
Not sure I can keep up this excellent standard though.

You go for an interview at charlies and they invite you for a work trial work 4 hours get no feed back I believe charlie binghams is a racist business a nd needs to restructure it ethics bad job if your English and have a bit of common sense

First I have to say your ready meals are very good but fish pie was a tad short on fish today.
2 bits of salmon a bit of some white fish no prawns.

the fish pie continues to go downhill. More & more potato and cream, less and less fish especially white fish.When will someone make a fish pie to the original tasty recipe.? ie:- no salmon or prawns

So far so good everything we have eaten has been very good.

Tried 4 options so far and none have failed to please. Always tasty, always cook well and whilst dearer than supermarket own Brands they are not expensive and definitively worth the extra

have tried the steak and mushroom pie great presentation ,but found the filling lacking in meat and mushrooms to much gravy which was tasty but value for money a poor product ,this has put me of trying any other bighams products .

These meals are awful. No idea why Tesco are stocking them when they're more expensive than the Tesco finest ready meals and nowhere near as nice.

I would never buy these products at the extortionate retail prices charged, but got hold of the chili con carne because it was on sale at half price due to being near the use by date. A very drawn out process of faffing around with foil and having to bake the stuff in the oven for 25 minutes resulted in a dried out mess that was inferior to most microwaveable equivalents on sale at half the price or less. The addition of a LOT of chilli powder plus some sour cream converted an inedible dish into a semi-edible one. Will not go anywhere near this rip-off brand again.

I have meant to write a review for ages and have finally found a minute. Just to say how much I enjoy your meals and that I have been telling everyone about them. I specially love love your lasagnes. I wish all the other ready mades were as delicious and healthy.

I have just read all the reviews and see that some people are complaining about the price charged for Bighams meal. I personally think that with the quality of what you get they are not comparable to supermarkets' own brand. you should compare them tp what you would be paying if you had them in a restaurant.

Hi, I love Bighams food. I love good food but hate cooking. Even my dyed in the wool traditionalist husband will eat Charlie Bighams dishes. Favourites are Chicken Jalfrezi, meat balls al forno, Fish pie, lasagne, chicken Tikka masala. However not so the Chicken Kievs we have just eaten. They lacked butter filling which made them dry to eat and lacking flavour. My husband got a chicken bone in one mouthful of food. Very disappointing. Wont try this one again.

Amazing dish's, just wish our local store stocked more of the range you offer! Stand outs are the Meixcan Chilli, meatball al forno & chicken kiev!

I have enjoyed Charlie Bighams steak pies in the past .I also enjoyed two fish pies but today I bought
a third fish pie from Waitrose in Balham.VERY DISAPOINTING ! No prawns only a few bit of Salmon
no white fish.just plenty of creamed potatoes.I will not buy again in a hurry !

Steak Pie! First couple of mouthfulls contained orange steak! Disappointing carrot to beef ratio for a bonkers expensive pie. Nice taste and puff pastry lid but this isn t gourmet. Profit over perfection in my opinion.

I never buy ready meals i always make my own but my mam had tried some of your products and loved them i always thought ready meals tasted plastic and awful but i was in a rush one day and bought the lasagne baring in mind i will never get it in a restaurant as it never tastes like my own but i must say i was very very impressed so much so we buy it often when i cant be bothered its the nicest bought lasagne i have ever tasted full marks from me

Thai red curry and rice. Dont normally do reviews but thought this product was worth writing one. Excellent quality worth its slightly above average price possibly but had this and the lasagne both very nice. Thankyou

My wife and I have eaten the whole range and agree that these are the best prepared meals we ve ever tasted. I have a wealth of information and experience of the food industry and am certain that these are the best meals you can buy.

I am afraid Charlie Binghams has gone down hill. He sais he will never compromise on ingredients. However my fish pie is 95% potato 1% Cheese 1% breadcrumbs and about 1% Salmon. YOUR REPUTATION IS GOING DOWNHILL VERY FAST. Act now to salvage it or I am AFRAID NO ONE WILL TRUST YOU.....

Had a Chicken tika masal and pilau rice beat takeaway curry we have had fantastic thank you.

I have delivered here regularly for the last two years and have found the staff consistently rude and arrogant. You are frequently left on the road side for an hour plus while the yard is empty. If my employers found me treating my customers this way I would be taken off the road and retrained. As drivers we do our best to bring your delivery in a safe and timely manner, so to be spoken to in a civil manner is not to much to ask. More scarily for you shareholders is the amount of drivers I have heard in different parts of the country who deliver here and never have a good word to say. You staff would do well to remember these deliveries are required to produce the products that ultimately keep them employed. If it was my business this would concern me, remember, we all go shopping too...

Disappointed because I don't know an Indian restaurant that can serve a better chicken Tikka masala, fantastic!

I have had a few of these and they are always absolutely delicious. By far the best ready meals that I have found. The chicken jalfrezi was so succulent, the lasagne is ridiculously tasty and the fish pies are always a good bet too. To top it all off, the portion sizes are generous as well. Thank you Charlie

just tried your steak and ale pie. For a shop bought pie, the pastry was good and plenty of filling with tasty gravy. So much better than the usual suspects. Will be trying the other products for sure

just bought the Salmon Teriyaki. considering the price and how it's sold to us as a high valve product I was disappointed with the amount of Salmon in the dish.

Simply THE BEST READY MEAL YOU WILL EVER EAT IN YOUR LIFE! I tried so many options already and loved absolutely every single one! I can t get enough of them! Absolutely superbly delicious!

Just had a chicken tikka with pilau rice and it was absolutely incredible, better than the curry takeaway up the road.

Tried a few of their dishes and for the price I find them very inadeqate. Small amounts of fillings in the pies, the lasagne was all sauce & no mince, and not much chicken in the thai curry. Poor value for money.

We have the fish pie or lasagne when we don t feel like cooking. Usually both products are very nice considering they are ready made. However, the last 2 times that we have had fish pie, it was so salty I couldn t eat it. I tried to email but I have to sign into their website with a PW so I can t be bothered. Quality control needs attention. Thank you.

Tonight for tea I had the Chicken Korma I was so impressed, the chicken was all lean nice looking chicken and the sauce was excellent to. Best one I have ever had from a supermarket

We have tried various meals and they are delicious! Particularly fond of the lasagne and meatballs but fish pie, macaroni cheese and red thai curry are all very enjoyable.

My wife and I, have tried several of their products and they have all been a cut above the normal manufactured fare. For such quality, you expect to have a price premium but even so, the products are overpriced. Their steak pies are More

I live on my own and regularly eat ready meals which disappoint. A very good friend tried one of Charlie Bigham's meals and told me it was great. I thought, sure, like the rest I have had. Then, three months later I decided that I would try their lasagne. Wow, I am writing this review before I have finished the meal because it is so great! Also, this is the first review I have ever done. Must finish this meal now, and try many more.

Tasted the Chicken Jalfrezi for the first time last week, absolutely the best I've ever had! Wonderful. I also often buy the Chilli Con Carne which is also simply amazing - just the right amount of heat, fantastic beef, and the small amount of cheese melted on top makes for a slightly different flavour in the occasional mouthful. Delightful! Would have given this a 5 star review, but the Gobi Paneer is a let down, rather bland.

Oh my god someone making good quality food with serious attention to detail, even the packaging is non toxic. I m really happy that I can finally buy a lasagne which tastes like a home cooked one, I would be prepeared to pay more, it s great and I hope you keep up the great work!
