We have received phenomenal service from DSLRPros. They are a company with top-notch knowledge providing excellent, the-way-it-used-to-be, high-quality service. We don t have the ability to buy a new drone since we are stuck with working within the confines of a previous drone purchased from a different company by the high school our son goes to. But, we ve been asked to fix/replace the broken drone. DSLRPros, and specifically Kyle, has taken the time to provide us guidance and quality information in order to try to get the drone to work--and as I mentioned before, the drone wasn't even purchased through them. If we ever have the chance to buy a new drone, I know the first place we are turning to is DSLRPros.

Bought a bunch of stuff from DSLRPros last year. Was initially happy with the interactions, sales rep seemed knowledgeable, so I decided to go with them over another company. In hindsight, it should have been a bad omen that I sometimes needed 2-3 emails to get a response from the sales guy (these days, he isn't replying anymore at all). Turns out some of the stuff I was sold is just plain useless for my purposes. I had voiced concern about some of the things the sales rep told me I needed, but since I had just gotten into drones, I decided to believe him. I all, I sank $1000+ on stuff I don't use/need. Some examples: 1) I work in remote areas, so having enough batteries and power is crucial. Got a bunch of TB55s and then the sales rep convinced me to get an EcoFlow power station to charge the batteries in the field. Sounded great. Well, I wasn't paying attention to the specs. That thing just barely charges ONE SET of TB55s (on paper it does, in practice it does not). For that price, I almost could have gotten another set of TB55s. 600 bucks wasted on an expensive cell phone charger. 2) Sales rep told me to get FLIR Tools+. I told him that I do postprocessing in different software and don't need to generate "reports". Nonono, you need this. OK. Completely useless for me. 300 dollars for electronic garbage. 3) Hoodman drone belt. I mentioned that we are mostly doing programmed flights and also work in remote areas, so we need to carry everything in. Convinced me to get it. Never used the thing. $130 for a heavy strap that sits in a drawer in my lab. 4) Firmware update service. $45. WTF is this?! I update the firmware myself. What did I pay for...?! I could list more things, but who wants to read that anyway. Bottom line for me is that I'll steer clear of DSLRPros in the future. Besides, they don't seem to want my business anyway. Recently asked for a quote for equipment for over $10k - never got a response.
Although I was a certified drone pilot, I had never owned a DJI product. A good friend (Chad Nordberg) directed me to DSLRPros in order to actually speak to a knowledgeable person. I was fortunate enough to get connected with Derek Wheeler who was patient and kind in answering my questions about DJI and its products. I was committed to stepping up my game to the next level, so we examined the Inspire 2 and all the various bells and whistles I wanted. He inquired of my needs and wants and helped me streamline my order. My shipment was delivered when he told me it would and he even arranged to have one item drop shipped from another source which they did not stock. After receipt I kept in touch with him with silly questions (like where is the S/N located) which he politely answered. I cannot over-emphasize how pleased I am with both Derek and DSLRPros. The worst company I've ever dealt with. This company, does not repair unmanned aerial vehicles. They can only change it for a lot of money from one block to another. I'm a professional drone pilot. I had a problem with the gimbal of my drone, I told you about it when I gave the drone. Thomas guaranteed that they would repair my drone, since they are engaged in repairing industrial drones. But in the end I was told they couldn't fix the gimbal. They took the money upfront, and then I got a letter from them saying they were expecting another $ 800 from me. And when I asked them to return the drone, they didn't get in touch for 4 days, ignoring my emails. These are scammers who will make you pay in advance, and then you will be held hostage. This is how companies make money now. I'm very sorry that the robbery is happening this way. This company does not repair unmanned aerial vehicles. They can only change it for a lot of money from one block to another. Now I have a very bad experience with this company.

When I upgraded to a new Phantom 4 Pro V 2.0 drone, really for my son as a present but also for myself professionally, I had initializing problems with software and/or other functionality. Although fairly good at problem solving, I had to ask the company for technical help. Fortunately, their technical advisor Tom Bruno was able to help me out and spent several hours one day, and additional time on several other days, problem solving. The resolution actually required a replacement craft and then additional repair. Guiding me through this potential nightmare, Tom was expertly patient, competent and fully knowledgable. After I finally got the drone fully functional he also provided me with a step by step review of every option on the P4P V2 drone, at least 53 different decision paths. He also added a tip for editing future footage I look forward to obtaining. I should note that this has come just before a major network project that is due to begin very soon. Having a workable craft and the assistance of Tom was timely and invaluable.

DSLRPros provides outstanding customer service that you can't be without! We purchased a DJI S900 from an individual that originally purchased it from DSLRPros. After we upgraded the firmware on the DJI A2 flight controller and the DJI Zenmuse Z15-GH4 gimbal, we could no longer control the gimbal. I contacted DSLRPros on the off chance that they might be able to provide some ideas on how to fix it. What I got was personalized attention from their tech support. Their tech support person conducted two Skype sessions with me to understand and then resolve the issue! I didn't have to send it in and wait 8 weeks from DJI; instead, he was willing to work through the issues to get our professional drone back in the air to support our commercial operations. I can't say enough about this type of technical support. We will definitely be purchasing more systems from DSLRPros.

We purchased a Matrice 210 in 2018. The customer service that followed has been awesome. We recently had to send it in to DJI for some work (over 150 flight hours). The staff at DSLRpros went out of their way to help with diagnosis, set up getting the 210 inspected by DJI, and shipping it to DJI. The inspection and repairs went smoothly. A shipping snafu not the fault of DJI or DSLRpros had us in a tizzy on the 210 s return. An email to the fine staff at DSLRpros and they were on it with the shipping folks and our 210 arrived back safe and sound. Shout out and Thanks to Thomas and Derek from DSLRpros!

We (Fire Department) purchased a Matrice 300 with the product training. Marc, the trainer, was professional and very knowledgeable on all aspects of the drone and emergency operations. The training was interesting and fit with our intended usage. Real world scenarios, discussions, and hands on flight time was priceless. Before the training, I had about 1 hour flight time on a smaller Mavic Air. After training, I was extremely comfortable with taking this beast out on my own. Training exceeded my expectations and I'd recommend this as standard for all commercial drone purchases.

Do NOT buy products from DSLR Pros. After they have made the purchase, then customer service is no longer important to them. Our company has spent thousands of dollars in the past year with them and they won't give us the time of day to even review problems that we're having with what we purchased. The reason for them not doing so is that "they are no longer servicing" the drone that I have. They don't want to spend money on taking the time to look at a product they sold. MONEY is more important to them than PEOPLE. Had I known that they wouldn't have serviced our purchases, although they advertised as such, we would have sought business with another company. We went with this company for SERVICE -- we could have purchased the items much cheaper from Amazon and Sam's Club. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS SERVICE if that is what you're paying for. Our company is livid and will not do business with DSLR Pros again and we will encourage others not to as well. Although they show up in Google search at the top, they are NOT the only option.
I recently accompanied my father-in-law and a group of friends to DSLRPros for product training as part of a drone purchase package. I found the way of training commencement very interesting. It was coordinated nicely, within the stipulated time. The skills, attitude, and intelligence of our trainer (Mark) and other staff were top notch. I have been flying DJI products for a few years now, their products are great. I was looking for a thermal rig, and came across DSLRPros. Kevin was my first point of contact, and he was a huge help. I recently purchased a UAV M210 w/ XT2 Z30 from DSLR Pros and I must say, I am extremely satisfied and pleased with my experience with DSLR Pros. He walked me through every detail of my purchase and made several cost saving suggestions. My order was delivered in less than 48 hours (3 days earlier than expected!), and every item I ordered arrived undamaged and well organized and labeled. I was as upset as anyone when I heard about DSLRPros' closure at their previous location. I had some money still with them but much more importantly to me, my always dependable source of information, repair, training, and advice looked like it was gone! I have purchased beginner through advanced drone systems from them, trained at their flight school, and always found them unsurpassed for solving the seemingly limitless problems with early drone technology. I am delighted to see that they have reopened with new management but have managed to keep their top tech people on board and moved them to the new office in CA. Just had an extended conversation with them about their current offerings and will be ordering a new Inspire 5K Raw, dual operator, once they are released. And I'm sticking with them now that they are getting back on their feet. I've dealt with enough untalented tech departments elsewhere and glad to hear that DSLRPros is back.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of crashing my drone. I contacted DJI to order the repair parts that I needed (since shipping it to a repair location wasn't an option for me) and they said they couldn't do that. I looked around on the web and found DSLRPros. I called them and after explaining my situation to Kyle and telling him what parts I wanted he checked with their repair techs to make sure that the parts I wanted would fit the drone (Phantom 4 Pro) and then sent me an invoice. The parts were shipped quickly and arrived on time. Unfortunately, the parts were damaged during shipping and unusable. I called them and explained the situation, then sent them an e-mail with attached pictures at their request. They contacted me again saying that replacements for the parts damaged during shipping had been sent and would arrive shortly. These ones arrived without incident and I was able to get back up and flying shortly thereafter. My overall experience was great. They re polite, professional, and care about their customers. I would not hesitate to recommend DSLRPros to anyone and know that I will be contacting them again in the future for any drone repair needs (though hopefully not any time soon since I just got my drone fixed).

I've been a customer of DSLRpros since they opened. They were the place to go for anyone in need of an amazing drone kit. Always purchased my equipment from them, when they went under I was personally affected. Lost a lot of money...was angry just like everyone else involved. But then I was taken care of by the new owners and was more than thankful they did. The new people running DSLRpros are more then great people - they will bend over backwards to help out their customers. I will continue to purchase and promote DSLRpros.
