The orchid we purchased died of crown rot a month after we got it. The amazing staff at the Richardson location not only replaced it for free, they also told us how to avoid the problem in the future. We're now customers for life.

The flower arrangement is beautiful, but not what i ordered. I ordered an assortment of colored roses, not the red roses, for a reason. My dad had an affinity for roses and this was a gift for my mother on the 1st anniversary of my father's passing. I felt that red roses were romantic and not what I intended for my mother to receive from me.
Dr. Delphinium always goes above and beyond to match the specific requests and arrangement style we like. We are never disappointed! We go with them every year for our special occasions and will continue to do so. Beautiful work, gorgeous flowers and arrangements always!
I was searching for a florist to deliver flowers to my niece who is in Dallas for her special birthday. I used to live in Dallas, (and now live in beautiful, peaceful Vancouver, Canada), and remembered some of the names of the better stores. Having said that, ordering flowers online, from a different country no less, is not always easy. You worry about quality and on time delivery. I fortunately remembered Dr. Delphinium. The flowers and balloons arrived today, right on time and my niece is over the moon! They're beautiful and did a great job. Although their pricing and delivery costs are a bit high, (reason for a 4 star, not 5 star rating), it is most worth the cost. The quality and piece of mind is worth it.

Sadly, I had a negative experience for Valentine's Day... The flower arrangement looked rushed and unprofessional (maybe extra help for the holiday?). The cupcakes were given to another person (again, thinking extra help for the holiday?). The flowers were still very pretty but I was very disappointed. The order was placed 02/05/2013 and I was feeling very confident that the cupcakes versus chocolates piece would set it apart from other times, instead this is the first time she has failed to receive something more than flowers at her office from me in 7 years. Disappointed :( They offered cupcakes (a dozen versus the 6) on another day or a refund and I took the refund. I don't want something I didn't pay for on a different day. I just wanted what I paid for delivered the it was scheduled.

Ever since I left the Plano area I have struggled to find a florist that can deliver a quality product at a reasonable price. Thank you Dr. Delphinium Designs and & Events for becoming my "go-to" florist! I needed to change my deliver date, no problems or issues. I really needed this to go well as the last three floral ventures had been horrible. You made my wife's birthday an even more special event! I would recommend your services to any and all or my friends. Oh and the delivery person singing Happy Birthday to my wife made her day as much as the flowers!

I asked for a special arrangement for a sudden and tragic funeral. To my surprise, when I arrived, the arrangement I ordered was sitting on the greeting table where all guests signed in. It was simply beautiful and made me feel so good that our arrangement was one that was used to greet all guests and the first to see as everyone walked in the door. It helped to brighten a very sad day.

Terrible company. I paid for two dozen roses, and they delivered one dozen. I called to tell them and they told me that the second dozen was just so small that they were hard to see. Unbelievable response! They won't refund my money and still have not delivered what I have ordered, even after three months!

They can be rather pricey at times, however, you are paying for wonderful customer service and exceptional quality. It's worth it!
Surprisingly great quality and selection at their nursery which is located in a back building. The prices were quite reasonable as well. Glad we dropped by last weekend to check it out. Got this wonderful Alocasia Amazonica for $30...pretty good deal and service was excellent!

I've been using Dr Delphinium to send my boyfriend surprise gifts for the past 3 years and I will never use anyone else. All of their gift offerings have a more luxury feel to them, like something more special and unique than the offerings of other similar companies. I just used them again today and, as always, the delivery was on time and the items received were just as well put together as the display images they use on their website.

My husband spent $55 on a floral arrangement and 3 days later it was wilted and had to be thrown out. When I called to tell them this, Monica told me that if I had taken better care of them, they may have lasted longer. She also told me that they were fresh cut flowers and only last a few days at most.
WHAT A RIPOFF! I cannot believe she had the nerve to say that to me. I am telling everyone I know thru all social media channels to never buy flowers from you. You can get arrangements for a third of the price and Central Market and they last well over a week!
My grandparents 77th wedding anniversary was this past Thursday (2-1) and I decided to try Dr. Delphiniums. I own a flower shop in Alabama and had visited their store at Christmas when we were in Dallas visiting. The store was beautiful, the arrangements were stunning and the staff was friendly. Based on this, I sent them the order. What was sent was disappointing. I asked for something short and low as my grandparents do not have much room in their house for something large. I got that. I received a turd brown vase with tulips, unopened stargazer lilies, spray roses and seeded eucalyptus crammed in the vase. There was no design to it and it was underwhelming. I sent a total of $100.00 that was to include delivery. For that kind of money I was expecting a bit more especially after I saw the beautiful arrangements that came out of the store at Christmas. I hate leaving reviews like this and I know they have talented designers but on my grandparents flowers, they missed the mark.
I'm so bummed about my experience today! My sister is new to Dallas, and had to put her beloved dog to sleep last night. I consulted online reviews and asked some Dallas friends who to use for an extra special flower delivery, and Dr. Delphinium Designs came up several times. I had a very easy and pleasant conversation to order the flowers - the woman who answered the phone was very nice and sweet and attentive. I'm a big fan of sending flowers, and always worry the card message won't be accurate, and she was very careful and detail oriented. The order came to $125 including tax and delivery, which is more than I'm accustomed to spending, but was not a problem for the quality I had every reason to expect. I liked their emailing system, which confirmed details of my order and let me know when it was delivered. The actual delivery just was NOT up to par! I've never used a flower delivery service in Dallas before, but I do order flowers in various cities somewhat frequently. The pictures I received from my sister's boyfriend (I hardly wanted to burden her with trying to get detailed shots of the arrangement!) showed a less-than-fresh bouquet. It was also much smaller than I was expecting for the price tag. The size of the arrangement was not anything I specifically addressed during my order, and a compact arrangement isn't inherently a problem for me, but to be small and have some wilted flowers and some too-opened roses as well just feels like a poor value. It is still, overall, a pretty arrangement (I'll try to attach photos to this review), but for MAYBE about $50 tops. I will likely not use this business in the future, and for the high price tag I felt that I should write this review to give some feedback to others about the overall value of my purchase.
They delivered dead flowers to my house after my daughter passed. I asked the not to leave them when the driver sent a text and called me yet he did anyway only to have them sit in the heat for two days. I emailed them on their website-no response. Boo DD

I came in a couple of weeks ago because I wanted a dozen roses for my daughter. I have never been so pleased with the service and the quality of the roses. Beautiful but simple arrangement. The time and care that was put into prepping the flowers...I was floored. No vase was purchased because the wrapping was so gorgeous. My daughter loved them. Friendly and affordable. Great job ladies!!!
Flower make great gifts for a lot of different occasions. I am glad I found Elizabeth's which is located at the corner of Sansome and Bush. It is a tiny kiosk so make you look for them right at the corner instead of a brick and mortar store.
During this time, as a registered nurse, I am unable to visit my family. I miss my mom terribly and I can not wait to hug her and kiss her. We FaceTime daily but its not the same. I'm thankful to have her in good health and I know that she is having a hard time with this situation and probably having a hard time understanding it too. I kept thinking of what to deliver to her and I remembered how a long time ago, I would get flower arrangments from here delivered to me. I remembered how beautiful they are and most importantly how happy they made me feel. My mom received her roses "The Sun will come out Tomorrow" today and she immediately sent me a picture. We got on FaceTime and it was so lovely seeing her smile so big and seeing how her eyes become little from smiling. My friend loved the flowers! Very easy ordering and quick delivery. The one improvement I would suggest is that the website offer photos of each level of flower arrangement in addition to "standard" and "as shown."

I recently received some flowers from Dr Delphinium that my son had sent to me from NYC. Dr Delphinium has always been one of my fave florists and the overall arrangement was beautiful, but some of the more delicate flowers looked a little brown around the edges and died after only a couple of days. Hopefully this was just a fluke and not an indication that DD is slipping in quality control.
I placed my gift order from out of state, and was anxious about the arrangements and if they would be delivered on time, etc. Apparently, I had nothing to worry about!

I sent a spring bouquet to my daughter in law for her birthday. It had enough flowers but there was no design to the arrangement at all. It looked like someone had just picked up a bunch of flowers and stuck them in a vase. Either that or the vase tipped over and everything got dumped out and stuck back in. I was very disappointed. I expected more from Dr. Delphinium. I will not be using them again.
I forgot to order flowers for my husband's surprise 60th birthday party! Erin was fantastic! She helped me decide what kind of flowers and got all 3 arrangements to the party in 2 days! The flowers were beautiful! I would not hesitate to use them again!

They got 1 star for the freshness of their flowers and the other star for being timely with their deliveries, otherwise they are way overpriced for arrangements that are dull, uninteresting, un-cohesive, and far less than exceptional. Flowers by themselves are so lovely that it is sad to think that an expensive arrangement by them could be made to look so drab.
The flower designs at dr delphenium remain the best in Dallas but the prices of theses arrangements are not competitive.

I was thoroughly impressed with my purchase from Dr. Delphinimum, as was my wife who received the flowers. The flowers were beautiful and vibrant, and most importantly, very fresh. They had a great selection of original arrangements with options to customize. Even before seeing the product, I was sold on their optional delivery windows. My wife was going to be tied up in meetings during the last half of the day and I needed to make sure they arrived before noon. Dr. Delphiniums had an option to deliver before noon, and they arrived with plenty of time to spare. I also liked the confirmation email letting me know they had been delivered. My husband ordered a dozen roses for Valentine's Day, 6 white mixed with 6 red.. my problem isnt that he bought me an overpriced bouquet of roses for Valentine's Day, my problem is that my husband spent $160 for 12 roses, and my bouquet looked as if it was prepared a week prior. I am highly disappointed in the quality, for how much this cost him. I had weird brown mossy slime floating around the rocks in the bottom of my vase, along with other dirty floaters, as if it was old water sitting stagnant, half of my greenery stems were not even submerged in water, and it is only day 2 and the white rose petals have already started to wilt, turn brown on the edges and are starting to droop. I have received better white roses from Kroger, that lasted longer, smelled better, looked prettier, and cost substantially less. Shame on you Dr Delphinium for charging so much for such poor quality!

40th wedding anniversary. So, I wanted the best. The folks at Dr Del (Jessica) were very attentive up front, giving a lot of extra time and attention to trying to meet my somewhat unusual request. They delivered a beautiful arrangement. After a few days the roses started to flag, as roses will do. Dr D (Denishea in customer service) replaced them with another beautiful arrangement. When it counts these are the folks to use.
Staff couldn't have been more helpful and fun to pick flowers with. Best customer service and their plant wall is beautiful.

I purchased the Sweet Cherie gift basket as a thank you present for my sister-in-law and she loved it! I ordered at 10:30pm and it was delivered by noon the next day. So I ordered flowers online for a friends bday (delivery on sunday) and asked for a picture of the boquet to be sent to me ..Ive had bad luck with flowers looking NOTHING like the pictures . Voila- within an hour of my order, the pictures were in my inbox. Gorgeous flowers. The next day (saturay) my friend got a delivery from my husband and I. I was extremely annoyed - the flowers were pink roses (nothing like the picture that was sent to me) and were delivered on the wrong day! I called the store and was extremely upset. They immediately refunded my money, but were very confused about the mistake and apologetic, especially since my delivery was showing as pending. I found out later my husband had ordered flowers a long time ago for a friend and those were the delivery my friend was talking about . I felt like a fool (ofcourse), called them back, and apologized. Olivia was extremely understanding about it, even laughed a little and placed my order back on. They were extremely professional about the whole misunderstanding, and had excellent customer service. They didn't argue with me when I insisted they delivered the wrong flowers - that shows alot about their customer service. I am originally from Dallas, and plan on moving back in a year. I have officially found my NEW florist! Not to mention- the arrangement was GORGEOUS!!!!!! They are pricey but you get what you pay for and their arrangements are unique. You will feel like it was money well spent.
Flowers were two days late, I live two blocks from the store, they didn t even have the common courtesy of refreshing the arrangement. They were instructed to leave at the front door. Will not use or recommend again. Highly disappointed.
