Package was simply parked at the wrong house number. Tracked the delivery on the app. Waited eagerly when it was still 2 houses away and whoosh the app showed "Your package was successfully delivered". Although I am standing at the window facing the street and there is / was no DPD vehicle in sight. Then I went looking for it myself and a couple of houses away my package is on my doorstep. Bad this parcel service.

It stands and falls with the individual driver, but overall DPD has recently become faster and more reliable, the live tracking is now much more reliable here with us +/- 5 minutes. or stops, so everything is in an absolutely good range. We have had a super friendly delivery person here for months - always a smile and a friendly word - hence 5 out of 5 stars

I've been waiting for my packages for days. Track the shipment using DPD Mails. But to no avail. Instead of the shipment being delivered at the informed delivery time, only one e-mail comes again, your shipment has been delivered. But when? But where? The bell did NOT ring. Despite repeated complaints and information that I am 80% severely disabled and unable to search for my package. Because according to the delivery note, my package was delivered to my address at Alltoura. They don't exist here. I already had the same problem in March. What do you think DPD actually? There are very clear rules for courier delivery. Against which is violated here in several ways. If you complain and complain, you have to pay extra money. Why complain if it doesn't matter anyway and continues to ignore ???? Only a real damper from the Federal Network Agency and termination without notice will help here. Well, in the end this rating doesn't matter anyway, because it won't be read anyway, but even if it does, nothing changes anyway. .... I would not like to give a star, but unfortunately it is not possible. You can already see that the evaluation is manipulated from the outset. So DPD just continue with your lousy tour. The last question: where are my deliveries? Where only ???

My package arrived, but there was the possibility to choose a delivery date. I also did that because I am working, but unfortunately it did not bring me anything because it did not arrive on the date mentioned. What use is it to me if I can choose a delivery date ???

Delivery has been tracked since 10 a.m. and the time of expected delivery has been constantly changed by hours. In addition, the delivery point was the carport and the deliverer simply put it in front of the fence on the streets. That is not how it works..
If nobody had gone straight away everyone could have taken the package with them.

Terrible .... The package ordered via Amazon was not delivered.
1 day allegedly no one was found, we were at home and waiting!
2nd day it said the address could not be found! The package goes back to the sender!

Then I called Amazon and they clarified it with DPD and the next day it was finally delivered. Funny, if the drivers don't want their job, they should work somewhere else.
All this stress, for a small package, has never happened to me to such an extent with other package services.

This delivery service is simply a disaster. Several times parcels were simply left in the hallway - without a notification card, just mail info on the Internet. And there it is claimed that the package was delivered to the recipient. I have to give a star - but I don't want to.

Nobody came to deliver the item for which I was waiting at home with live tracking on. later on I found that the reason for not delivering on that day was stated as the recipient was not at home which was totally incorrect.

Even in times of Covid, deliverers should be able to design the simplest and most responsible transfer of consignments. According to the notification on a card, this certainly does not include ... - "The package was handed over to neighbors (without a name) and the package is in the doorway next door".

The guy delivering the package, left it downstairs instead of bringing it to the 1st floor. I am pretty sure this happened, because it was 28kg (62 pounds). Had to go downstairs and carry it myself.

Again and again parcels are simply parked on the doorstep without a signature by the countless different drivers who seem to change every few weeks, even though no parking permit has been expressly granted. Every time I complain but nothing ever changes. Several packages have already gone. I don't know if they were actually delivered or if the driver kept it directly. It's just not acceptable.

Although the neighbor gave the storage location or address, the deliverer simply threw the package over the garden fence. Here it was visible to strangers for half the day and could have been stolen at any time. If it had rained it would have softened and the contents destroyed. So I ask myself, why do I give a storage location if no sow adheres to it. Never again DPD!

The initial parking permit worked great. A few minutes later I was informed by email. Had concerns about the indication "front door", but was then "behind the front door", i.e. in the interior of the house, which you cannot get into without a key.

Everything worked. And the driver was really nice! DPD has definitely learned something new, which makes me very happy! Keep it up!

Delivery not correct although at home. Simply put in front of the door, ring the bell once and drive away again immediately (no, no parking permit issued). The entrance is directly on a street and freely accessible and visible. Even though I was quickly on the intercom, I had no chance to talk to the driver.

Basically, I think it's totally okay if the package is stored in a reasonably safe place. For us, this includes the balcony. I don't think it's safe to put the package in front of the front door.
You get an email about 1 to 2 hours in advance when the package will be delivered. It's only of limited use to me if I'm not home for half the day. For delivery preferences you have to go into the app if I am properly informed.

You will be notified in advance by email when the package will be delivered (not only the day is given, but a fairly precise time window). It's great too. Messenger always poses! Do not leave your parcel in the agreed place (carport) but behind the electric entrance gate that is blocked. After all, he saves himself going 20 meters. E-mails to DPD and notes at the gate don't help either. Some do not want to read, others cannot read.

The only reason I'm giving one star is that the delivery person almost never actually rings the bell to deliver the package to us. Even if it's to the 1st floor and it's a small package. They automatically leave it in the store downstairs, even if someone is home, so they don't need to deliver the packages one by one.
Not sure if it's due to time pressure and workload or simply they're just lazy.
