DPD is the worst parcel service in Germany. Parcels are simply placed somewhere on the street or in the neighboring garage, even though someone is at home !!! Ringing is too much to ask ...

Everything worked fine and the package was there exactly on the clock! However, our house bell did not work, I immediately got an email saying it was just around the corner! Thanks again!

A super nice driver who didn't complain about having to carry the two very heavy parcels all the way to the top and kept them exactly in the specified time he don't understand all the bad reviews ... Always happy ... Compared to DHL and Hermes simply unbeatable

The messenger must have spent a lot of time folding the book package and squeezing it into the mailbox. A push on the doorbell button would have sufficed, I would have opened the door and he could have parked it in the hallway in a matter of seconds.

Today I got 2 packages from DPD. The driver was very rude and didn't want to carry the packages up to me. His excuse: he then gets back pain. After a long discussion about what his work is, I was able to persuade him to wear at least one and then I wear the other. Which then happened. That is not how it works.

I actually have good experiences with DPD, but when I issue a parking permit, it cannot be given to the neighbor. It was half a heart attack that it disappeared. Otherwise everything is great

The doorbell rang briefly without waiting five seconds and immediately drove again, the parcel lay on the floor in front of the entrance and could not have been protected from unauthorized access. I cannot recommend such poor service. Three stars only because of the "quick translation service" of one day, which is a matter of course in the industry delivery time.

Terrible service! Package was simply parked down in the hallway and shouted unfriendly to the third floor, I should carry it up myself. When I came downstairs I was only sniffly wished "have fun". I've never seen anything like it! If you are too careful to drag a 10kg package to the third floor, then you should think about your career choice!

I only have problems when it comes to this company that supplies products
because I live on the 3rd floor or they say that they went past my house and had no one and left it in the branch to pick me up, or they don't deliver properly, as they do today, the totally hostile and angry delivery man who says that I lived on the 3rd floor and that he would not deliver, that if I wanted the packages to be picked up for me, I would even pay for the delivery and with a baby on my lap

The best tracking app for parcel services. You don't have to wait all day and can make good use of the time until delivery. And the deliverers are all very nice.

Packages are not delivered at all and are marked as accepted.
You have no chance at all to complain because you are constantly thrown off the line.

Parcels are no longer delivered to the recipient but are either handed over to the DPD shop or to any neighbor (160 apartments in a high-rise!).

Don't even deserve a star! The parcel carrier simply throws everything away and approval and he does it all over the city ... unfortunately complaints don't help either ...

The package supposedly delivered to me never reached me. Well, it's not the first time. But it's my fault. I usually avoid sellers who ship with DPD.

They left the package on the street and ran away. it's incredible....

In Berlin, delivery is a disaster. The packages never arrive, even though you are at home. You always have to pick them up in the parcel shop.
In Brandenburg, delivery seems to be working.

First ordered to the customer center where it was not there even though it was on the certificate (several customers did this day)
Then DPD claims that it was successfully delivered.

The delivery was announced early in a 1h window. And that's exactly what was delivered. Package was undamaged, the driver was very attentive and friendly. A big thank you especially to this driver and all those who do their job in times of crisis.

I would not like to give a star at all, but unfortunately that is not possible. I have had several parcels sent via DPD lately and it's the same every time. I give my apartment door on the third floor as the storage location (we have an elevator in the house), but the parcel deliverer either leaves it outside in front of the front door or makes the effort to open the front door and then puts it there. But even if I don't give a Shelf OK, the package is simply parked down below WITHOUT ringing my doorbell.

The parcel was put in front of the neighbors' door (without a deposit OK). Although we were home and waiting for it. The name AO Ackermann is also unknown and wrong. Our neighbors have a completely different surname. We are so dissatisfied with the DPD deliverers that I panic every time DPD is used as the shipping service provider after purchasing online. And you have no control over it and cannot choose another.
So far we have had problems with every (!) DPD deliverer. Packages thrown in front of the door in the pouring rain, everything was soaked, although we have a covered entrance to the house. Parcel thrown in the parallel street in construction site. Content then defective. A construction worker brought us the package in the evening ... It's absolutely impossible.

I used to be quite annoyed with DPD in the past; parcels were delivered to faraway pick-up stations despite me having been home with a working doorbell, or parcels delivered to neighbours without notification. In my experience, this has changed 100% in the last couple of years. All DPD deliveries I have had arrive on time and exactly as agreed. E-mail notifications tell you exactly when to expect your package. Plus, our delivery guy in Frankfurt is friendly, helpful, and goes out of his way to be respectful of our home and of current Covid-19 fears. Great service, and I now enjoy using DPD.

I am just learning that my package was delivered at 8:06 a.m. Now it is 8:30 a.m. and nobody has rung the bell.
I look in the hallway, there is the package on the ground floor on the stairs. I live on the 2nd floor.

We have indicated that the deliverer can put the package behind the house on the terrace. He didn't do this. He left it in front of the front door, which is on a main road. Just unbelievable. Valuable package is parked in the house hallway. No notification. Abstrus ..... package from the neighbors is put on top of the package. They also receive no notification. Parcels stood for hours. Fortunately, nobody stole it. Actually very borderline how to deal with paid goods. But typically DPD ......

If you wait for a package, it is already in Worms and then you get the message. It has been successfully delivered. (But not with me, but to Poland) it is incredible how it works.

Storage place mailbox ?! Are you serious? A package with a value of 60 is simply placed on the mailbox, where everyone who walks by can take it with them! What's up with you? With us there is always someone at home, no matter whether tenant or family member ..
It's not the first time and I just can't understand it ..

Deliveries are shown as delivered, but the deliverer did not deliver packages at all. That happened for the third time today. What bad service. What good is "tracking" if the drivers are under so much pressure that they simply mark packages as delivered in order to fulfill them. Perhaps management should employ more salaried drivers at a reasonable wage than paying your subcontractors below the minimum wage.

I have just received an email that my package has been delivered to me. I find that very interesting since nobody rang the bell and nothing was given to me. Now I wonder where is my package ??????? You never get an answer from customer service. Tried once when another package was just placed in the stairwell ... accessible to everyone

The goods ordered have been split into several packages - so that they are easier to carry - and yet He put the package down on the first floor and called us down to let us know that you would not be carrying the packages to the 4th floor. What kind of service should that be? In reality we had to drag it ourselves.

Very rude and impolite deliverer:
Delivery attempt was on-time and I was already dressed and waiting for the DPD car to arrive.
However, the guy kept his hand on the buzz and gave me so much stress that I was about to fall down in the stairs. As soon as I reached front door (took less than 1 minute) he started to shout why I was late! I was in such a big shock that I went speechless!

I was able to receive goods from DPD. They seem to me quite professional. I absolutely can not complain. Good traceability and delivery times despite the Christmas period. Thank you.

The deliverer simply put the parcel under the carport when it was raining and there was high humidity, even though someone was at home. No attempt was made to ring the bell.

DPD ich weis die Fahrer stehen unter druck, aber kann man deshalb einfach Pakete im Garten abstellen ohne Erlaubnis. Und wenn man die Fahrer anspricht verstehen sie meist kein Deutsch und sind obendrein noch unfreundlich. Ich finde so etwas sehr schade, ich gehe doch auch normal mit meinen Mitmenschen um.

DPD delivers quick and I like their tracking system with the little car that can show me where the driver is. I am happy with their service and they deserve a 5*

Parcel was at the wrong house and then simply parked outside (and not "in the hallway" as agreed). The DPD deliverers have probably never heard of jingles and a huge problem recognizing numbers that are on the delivery note.

A few years ago my package never arrived. DPD, on the other hand, referred me to the vending machine voice that my parcel had been successfully delivered to a neighbor. The name the voice called did not exist in our house. I went out empty-handed.
The delivery via email was announced today, I was at home. The doorbell rang, I got up, stepped out and answered with a "hello" (live on the first floor), but no answer, just heard that someone went out through the front door, only later did I understand that it had to be the messenger. This really annoyed me. You ring the bell, it is opened and then nothing more ?! By chance I discovered the parcel on our mailboxes. If the deliverers want to avoid contact, they can at least say "Hello" and where they put the parcel. So really ..
Someone wrote that DHL could cut a slice of them .. I've never had any problems with DHL.

The package was delivered to my address - a detached house - according to the delivery confirmation. In fact, it was found by a resident of an apartment building 6 houses away in the hallway and brought to me 2 days later with the justified indication that something had to be done and this absolute wrong delivery was not accepted. It is a real insolence. There are a lot of other neighbors who would bring the package to me, just as I do and don't just put it anonymously in a house with 10 apartments in the hallway ("throw").

Everything worked out great. Dispatcher called the day before and asked about the house number.

There are ALWAYS problems with this company in my area in Berlin. The delivers are just lazy useless people who don't do their job and leave the packages outside the building so it can be stolen easily or they are late by days and fake a message like we agreed to change a date, while I'm spending the whole evening waiting at home. My flatmates had to carry heavy packages that I ordered because the delivers don't bring it home and abandoned the packages outside. Horrible, the worst delivery company I have ever experienced. It feels like Germany is a 3rd world country when it comes to online orders because of their delivers. I can just hope that it's only in Berlin like that, but who knows if this terrible service and not even asking for a signature of the customers is a standard routine or just local problem. Anyway, I asked amazon and other websites that I buy from them not to use this company with me anymore.

4 packages from one sender should be, extra delivery address changed to neighbors. Day 1 card in the mailbox, I am supposed to pick up parcels at the pick-up station. In the pedestrian zone and heavy parcels ... that's not what I have delivered! Called DPD, for a fee! ... Card was wrong, delivery tomorrow to the desired neighbor was correct. Day 2 3 packages arrive. Day 4 Message by email that 1 package is available for collection in the collection branch. Day 5 another email and the deliverer told a resident that there was still 1 package in the pick-up station for me. Day 6 I then dragged the stupid, extremely heavy package across the pedestrian zone! Would give 0 stars if it was possible ...

Have you read the parking permit? In the anteroom or behind the 1st door does not mean that you can put the package in front of it or almost on the main street .. Luckily it is still there.
Reading also requires knowledge of German spelling.

The delivery came on time and that was the only positive thing.
The delivery staff did not consider it necessary to take the way to the front door but simply threw the package over the fence in which there was a loudspeaker. You don't have to say to DPD that this was not the first time and now the measure is just full.

The package was simply parked in another street at the correct house number. The person living there kindly contacted me via a social network. Disaster, the package was expensive. With a parking ok you should check carefully if there is already no recipient contact !!
