Heard lots about this area and wanted to see for myself. Unfortunately I picked a bad weekend because it was dead. Lots of places to eat. Lots of convenient shops and a great place for an afternoon walk or people watch. Lots of college kids in the area. Parking could be a problem if they're busy, I found one relatively easy. Starbucks was busy as were a few other places. From what I saw on a weekend with nothing planned for the area, it was still entertaining.

This area is epic. The shopping and culture are one of a kind and you can't find anywhere else in the world like it except San Francisco is somewhat like it and even better. There are waterfalls at every turn and Cornell is one of the best colleges in the world as far as ivy league and an animal hospital. If you have a pet it is a great place to take them for care.

A nice assortment of eateries with sidewalk dining. Offers an excellent opportunity to observe the urban Ithacan in their natural environment. Remember feeding and petting the native Ithacan is discouraged.

Due to Covid 19 not all businesses are open. Walked thru commons on a beautiful day with my kids. It felt good to be out with warm temperature, sunshine, people out and about- not in groups or gatherings-just speaking in general, and all had masks on and appeared to be doing the same thing as the kids and I- enjoying the surroundings and happy to be out on such a beautiful day even if they were working/on the clock running business errands!
Sad to see so many businesses closed and not as many people out as usual/pre-Covid19.

Great place for something to eat. Many different choices from Indian cuisine to Pizza. Alot of places to sit and enjoy the people. You can also check out the new granite fountain that resembles the falls of ithaca.

Nice shops and a range of food choices. The new playground is toddler friendly except for the metal slide which heats up quickly in the sun. Too hot for little ones to play on. There's also no shade. But definitely worth checking out! Jillians Drawers is right next to the playground for refuge and overall the Commons is a good place for a date.

The food and customer service were fantastic. The menu offered a vast array of options that covered everything from Mexican to American to Carribean. While the food is a bit overpriced, it's definetly worth checking out.

Fun location and their dedication to the art in the area is inspiring. I enjoyed the statues thoroughly and if you're interested in bringing children there there is a small playground. Also the stores surrounding the commons are quite unique.
