No parking... Too many pedestrians walking out in front of you without looking... Pan handlers and protesters all over the place. Never again except to eat at Simeons on occasion.

Here on a whim for the day and ended up being able to celebrate Pres. Elect Biden's win with music and dancing in the streets!
The ithaca commons is so much fun. Go at night during the weekend to see packed restaurants and bars and make memories with friends and see some beautiful places
The walking street in middle of beautiful ithaca. Good to hang around in evening. There are number of restaurants and gift shops along the street.
Need more stores. The existing stores are all great, yet, it's a shame to see empty stores.
If you are going to do a foodie experience in America then you have to include Ithaca that has more per capita restaraunts
We girly enjoyed our stay...and the ghost woke us up!
Neat place to shop and eat. Parking is a nightmare.
I love that this place isn't run by giant conglomerates, it celebrates small, local businesses. The playground in the middle of the commons is a great idea and looks very fun for little kids!
It might have taking the city a lot longer to finish renovating them than they originally planned, but it was well worth the wait.
Great hotel in an awesome location in downtown Ithaca. Close to bars, restaurants, and more. Staff are accommodating and helpful
Amazing selection of a variety of stores and restaurants. Sit down and quick food. Jewellery, smoke shop, clothes, books, bars, it has it all. Absolutely Worth checking out. All different ranges of prices.
Great area to visit. Lots if young people Very alternative friendly.
Nice place to walk around if you're a local person it's next to impossible to walk thru the commons without running into at least a few people you may know
Beautiful outdoor mall with shops and places to eat. We loved just walking around.
New commons is direct toward students and tourists then locals. Miss the old look
Went for Wizarding Weekend. Loved it, would recommend for HP nerds.
You don t visit Ithaca without visiting the commons. It s a special place. Lots of cute stores and restaurants.
Wow it's really changed and it's got a lot of great places to eat and cool shipping. Weekends you don't have to Pay Downtown parking meters parking is Free.
The rest of the time LOOK OUT FOR THE METER MAIDS USE THE METER APP.
Great nightlife on the strip. Very safe at 11pm. We enjoyed it very much
Pretty small as far as malls go--feels a bit like an airport. But hey, still a pretty nice place to go for a bite to eat or anything.
I hang out on the commons to get fresh air, everybody is mellow
Too much concrete but overall, nice shopping and welcoming. Lots of great resturant options
Wouldn't go there certain nights but it is pretty good
The Commons is a vibrant downtown shopping area where you may see street performers, a protest, or just a lot of fun statues and interesting stores.
Spacious and plenty of shops and restaurants to fill a whole weekend in Ithaca
Its okay. It doesn't know what it wants to be- a low cost version of church street in burlington VT or a college town retail mall.
Busy place. Tough to park a big truck and not get a ticket. Otherwise there is a lot happening there.
The Commons is a concentrated embodiment of the Ithaca lifestyle. Great food, quirky souvenirs, and much more await. The newly rebuilt Commons offers outdoor seating, a small playground, a recently installed water feature, a community stage which often features local musicians, and more shops, bars, and restaurants than one could shake a stick at, so to speak. When searching for the heart of the Ithaca experience, The Commons should be one of your first stops.
A lively pedestrian walkway with good shops and live music at some of the restaurants
New commons are nice besides that one section of inexplicable gravel. See too many people riding bikes across them that should not be according to the rules posted at each end.
I love this store! I just wish it were handicap accessible so I could still go in myself.
I would recommend this area for shopping and eating much more than the Ithaca mall. There are lots of cute boutiques and its a nice area to walk around.
A variety of shops over a 2x2 block setting that's nice. I get my hair cut, I go to a nice place to eat, and can drink at a bar all without much effort.
It would be better if more shops were open, but the rent is too damn high according to shopkeepers.
Collegetown pedestrian Main Street, much to enjoy here!
a restaurant we ate in the mall it was Moroccan food the soup was excellent and our meal was very good
Cute area with lots of quaint shops and cozy restaurants.
Everyone cooperates wearing a mask. Great community of people
The best heart of our city. Would you like to see some magic?
Good but visit it at night because in the day not much to see the shops open after 10 am
Definitely need more of a police presence in the area.
Totally awesome atmosphere, great food, friendly people and amazing architecture. Great place to spend a day or weekend with friends!
My work close down early because of the cold and we wasn't busy I'll call me a cab they told I can make a reservation for a cab to pick me up at 10:30 I waited around and around my phone died so they let me use their phone Walmart is a good place that's where I do my shopping
Great locale for annual Wizarding Weekend, very pedestrian friendly.
Looks beautiful after construction. Needs some more shopping optipns.
Pretty lively place, particularly great for foodies!
Meh. Cozy downtown area, so-so food, great used book store, still tons of white trash milling about.
Several local shop owners really contribute value to the local economy. Lots of children's focused activities within the shops.
Artsy, smart city. Thank you for a great visit. We loved everything about Ithaca! Fabulous shops and people. Well-planned.
Super cool outdoor shopping and dining area with a playground for the kids.
Many stores and shops that are one of a kind. Great atmosphere, great people, and overall we enjoyed ourselves.
Cool place to hangout. Artsy shops that have great things. Lot of good places to eat. The children play gym is a nice one too
Can t go wrong with downtown Ithaca! Great selection of shipping locations, good food selection and there s a vibrant crowd year round. Which, considering the harsh winters is surprising and makes Ithaca that much better of a go-to City in NY!
Downtown Ithaca is a Meca for hipster college students. Offering a great selection of unique shops and restaurants to visit.
Ithaca offers such a free spirit mentality that lets you, be you.
A lovely place with many cute restaurants, wine & cider shops, and craft shops. Although it's quite empty when the weather is bad, it's lively and very pleasant on sunny days. I love how most of the workers in shops that I visited were very friendly and engaging. They seem like people who love what they are doing. And that's wonderful!
A nice selection of food and retail stores. Friendly environment with nice architecture. Good music plays every once and while.
Lots of good restaurants and interesting shops. Small play area for young children. Outdoor seating available. Lots of Ithaca events take place on the Commons. Huge festivals; Ithacafest, Icefest, the Thursday night music series in the summer and a Wizarding Weekend in late October. These events draw thousands to downtown Ithaca. Lots of fun!
You want it you'll find it. The Commons is very diverse & many food & drink places. Parking garage is your best bet tho, streets not real forgiving if you miss a turn, lots of one way streets in Ithica.
I love down town Ithaca...it's fun to wonder the stores
The commons is a great collection of shops and eateries
Lots of unique stores. Very clean. Love being able to walk the strip without any traffic going through
