Very nice... helpful employees too....a bit expensive for what you get but very nice!

I I had attended an event just during the day the room that we were in was really nice we also were in the garden area which was also very nice they had a tent set up for us so we didn't have to be in the Sun. I do plan on going back again and the next time we go we will be spending the night because the hotel just seems so nice.

Saw a guest speaker in a conference room. The accomadations were nice and clean. Only complaint was the a/c blasting and freezing us out off and on when it was only maybe 70 degrees out.

Beautiful location and mediocre food. One star mainly because of two issues with my room. Upon first glance, my towels and bed sheets were folded and made nicely, but as I pulled back the sheets, I found blood smears on my pillowcases and sheets- they had not been changed from previous occupant, but the bed only made. The bathroom towels also had blood spots on them, and mold was growing on the bathroom walls. When I called and spoke with manager to come look at the issues, I barely received an apology. I will not be recommending this hotel for your stay.

I am very disappointed with Hilton. We booked a king room with a balcony view. We walked into the room and noticed it was really warm. We went to look at our "view" which was a giant tree covering the entire balcony. When we finally laid down to go to sleep, the bed was hard, lumpy and leaned more to one side. At about 1am, I finally asked my husband if he was as warm as I was. Both of us were so uncomfortable, we decided to call the front desk. The individual told us that they had been having AC issues and that they could have an engineer look at it. She told us Hilton had only 2 other rooms available for us and we decided on that instead of staying and waiting for someone to look at the AC. Upon entering the second room at 2am, we instantly noticed it was MUCH cooler. We noticed the king bed in the second room was nicer. At 7am, you could hear the lady in the next room talking on her phone clear as day. Doors were slamming all over the place. Our previous stay had been quiet and during an off season. This stay was not relaxing or enjoyable. I think next time, we'll stay elsewhere.

Previous stay - I love doing our "staycations" here! The rooms are wonderful! The staff is professional, friendly and professional.

One of my favorite hotels. Some of the rooms should be updated like carpets and walls, but the suites are like no other.

Friendly staff, decent room service, clean rooms, well maintained grounds but the hotel could use updating.

I was here for a 3 days conference, restaurant food was very very good, good options. Grounds very clean and neat, very organized, customer service was excellent. Why fi was a little difficult in all areas, had to go outside to get reception

It is a beautiful resort and very relaxing. The only issue we had were the walls are pretty thin so we could hear our neighbors yelling from our bed.

Love hilton brand! Clean and great customer service!

Great location! We went to the nearby spa and even got my botox and lips done.

I had big expectations being a Doubletree Resort by Hilton. The hotel grounds I would say is the best part of the entire "resort". This was my second time staying here and I wont be back. The rooms were very (VERY) outdated and not well maintained. We had 2 different rooms during our stay. The rooms were in the complete farthest back of the hotel and the occupancy was obviously very low, and when asked for a closer room I was told no It wasn't available for that room type. Then asked for a hilton honors upgrade (gold member) also denied. The first room the television did not work so we were moved to another room. On the second night in the new room the a/c went out in the room. After hours of no a/c in 100 degree heat I drove to the lobby and asked if she had any idea when it would be fixed and was just told no!! Not no I'm sorry but just flat out no. Then I asked if we can please get another room that the a/c is on and was told the entire hotel was out which was a lie because the lobby was freezing and Im sure a hotel that size has more than I chiller but hey thats the service I received.

Beautiful property, great staff and comfortable rooms. I stayed 5 nights and my only complaint is the WiFi does not work in my room, and when it works by the pool or in the lobby it s very slow. There are no restaurants nearby but the shuttle is free and easy to use.

Rooms are dark and a little creepy. Definitely not worth $300 a night. This was probably a nice hotel in the 60s, but there are newer options close by. Lounge, patio, conference rooms are nice. If you go here for a conference, bring a jacket because the AC apparantly cannot be turned down.

This hotel had a resort feel to it, however as a business traveler it was quite a walk from the rooms all the way around the large pool area and back through the grounds in order to get to the front desk area in the mornings.

I did like the little patio which was attached to the room and comes included in many of the DoubleTree properties.

BottomLine: The layout seems optimal for a vacation - not streamlined enough for getting in and out in the mornings for business.

My wife and I were at the DoubleTree for a fundraising Gala. The appetizers were wonderful and the staff was extremely pleasant. A great venue.

Attended a fundraising event and it was a very nice conference room it was held in. Food was not all that great though.

Great resort with friendly and helpful staff. The open layout of the resort with the multiple pools is a great design as it breaks up the guests without spreading them out to far from the front desk hub and hotel services. Snack and food options on site look good and the surrounding area has a ton of options for fun, sun, shopping, eating, and just generally exploring what Scottsdale, AZ has to offer.

Hotel is a winner - great staff- 2nd Christmas here. Canyon suite is awesome-pool is great

Used ballroom and it was adequate for our event. Room was very cold but I'd rather it be cold than hot and I brought a light jacket just for that reason. However, the restrooms were not adequately stocked and the paper towel dispenser was not working.

Beautiful landscaping and pool area at the resort. Room was large but the room is showing it's age. Staff was welcoming. Great stay overall.

Nice resort, really quiet at night, friendly staff, and really close to a lot of shopping centers.

It's between a 4 and 5, really. It's s good place in a decent location. The outdoor pool areas were pretty good and rooms seemed average. Fairly clean and nice lobby as well as outdoor seating.

Beautiful hotel. Everyone was very accomodating. When our key stopped working they replaced it right away. Beautiful venue for weddings! And fun hammocks for lazy reading or just relaxing.

The property is beautiful! 2 really nice pools. Great restaurant and friendly staff.

Lovely grounds and friendly staff, good location, clean and well maintained. However, rooms are worn, no microwave, weak a/c. Limited parking, few available chairs around pools. At prices charged, rooms and pools need work.

Helpful, friendly staff. There is a shuttle to take you a couple miles down the road to shopping and dining. Large, clean rooms and great pools.

Went to the Double Tree for a business meeting. Was met with friendly guests who went above and beyond to meet our needs. The set up was done quickly and professional. Facility was very clean. Although I was there for only one day I would strongly consider coming back for a vacation or to host a meeting myself.

So far...so good! I have to say that although our room is average, the hotel is amazing! It is peaceful and relaxing. I cannot ask for more. We can truly relax here and enjoy some quiet time. It is so nice to not have to listen to people being loud at night...

The view is breathtaking and I m shocked that our beds are soooooo comfortable! That is so rare to find a comfortable bed. The staff are helpful and kind. The pools are wonderful. Food is decent.

NOTE: if you cannot be around smoke for any reason, especially health related, this is a smoke free hotel. Has an issue with someone smoking here and they handled it immediately!

Hidden gem, situated right in the middle of the TPC an Old Town Scottsdale

This hotel has recently been renovated. They did a great job with it. The grounds are great, pools are beautiful. Really lovely!!! Wonderful staff!!!

Rooms were roomy with a nice decor, two nice pools, no complaints.

The resort was clean and the 2 pools made it nice to cool off in the arizona heat. The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast at the resort was subpar. Overpriced and not tasty, better to drive or walk into old town which is only a few minutes away.

At a business conference here. Very cleaned modern facility. The staff are almost invisible yet they provide great service

This is a relatively nice luxury resort I had the opportunity to experience while enjoying a boudoir photo shoot inside one of the suites here. My photographer booked the room for the day for me which allowed for several outfit changes. Lighting was great, and the atmosphere was inviting. Photos turned out fantastic. Thank you Doubletree! I only wish I had been granted the opportunity to enjoy some of the other amenities the hotel had to offer (i.e. the pool, hot tub, etc.).

I used this resort for a large training conference with five groups of around 25 people, plus hosts.
Rooms, surroundings and staff were good. Food was excellent. Only knocked a star off for the wifi - poor coverage and problematic log on process.

This place is very much a family place. There are two pools, a kiddy pool, and a hot tub. A very fun place with a tropical, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are very comfy. There are two beds, two leather chairs, a desk, a flat screen TV, and a bathroom. This is less of a small hotel and more of a fancy resort.

Y'know what, the location is on the main road, Scottsdale road. The rooms are little outdated but the high ceiling and the new TVs help. There are two pool and the valet is good

The free cookies at the front desk are a must haha. Friendly staff and quiet at night in the rooms. The food's good too. Great place to stay while on vacation.

Hotel and services were great. Breakfast was overpriced for what it was but the coffee shop had good options. Pools were great and there is a nice playground for your kids in one of the pool areas. Hotel is located near some great shopping and dining options.

I was pleasantly surprised with my visit to this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the hotel itself looks very good on the inside.

Check out the cactus garden, it's very informative.

E-check in available makes for a fast check-in. Staff is helpful and friendly. Clean hotel and rooms. Fast WiFi is easy to connect to. Hotel bar has some delicious drinks.

Nice enough property but if you need WIFI for anything while in your room, consider staying elsewhere. The wifi is horrible and I suspect it's not an isolated event. Other people staying in other rooms also said it was horrible. I called the front desk and was told I could change rooms. Really? That's the answer? Change rooms? Anyways, other items: Pool is great, bars are decent, food is good. The layout is very compartmentalized, but it's unique. They have shuttle service and a golf cart that will carry you around to other parts of the property if you need it.

No temp control. Room is freezing. Booked a king and got two queens. Rooms are old carpet is very old. Not worth it really.

The front desk lady mentioned the excellent view I would be getting. I was placed behind some bushes and couldn't see past that. The website also mentioned an indoor pool which is a lie they don't have one... but the outdoor pools are really nice.

Guest BEWARE!! This hotel's cancellation policy is one of the worst. Book at your discretion and ensure there will be no unforeseen, last minute changes or emergency which will prevent you from staying at this place. You will lose 1 night's fee. Hotel is VERY inflexible and unaccommodating (hard up for cash!) They make no exceptions whatsoever to your cause. Not everyone can afford to throw away $130. The director of front desk services, Lisa, even refused to offer credit for future stay. Well, after reading the other reviews of bed bugs, and smelly accommodations, I for one will not be reserving at this location.
