It's nice. Very good location; close to the trolley and the Lloyd Center. It's a nice enough hotel, not much to say other than that? It's pretty standard. Their WiFi won't work on my phone though, which kinda sucks.

A fine hotel and what I'd consider to be a perfectly on-par and on-point Double Tree property. Breakfast buffet was solid and the offerings in the lobby restaurant for lunch and dinner were also good.

Warm chocolate chip cookie on arrival was a nice touch.
But they weren't very good at keeping things like towels, sugar and creamer available in the room. Lack of microwave oven and mini-fridge was a bit annoying.
The pool and the Gather casual cafe were good.

Hotel charges for parking by the hour in the garage for your stay . The processes and corporate sop don t give the right managers the power to make decisions that Operate a business . Hotel is 1stars . Colleen at the front is not the person you want to deal with .
Front of house staff treats guests with no respect and jokes when they have issues .
Although I got the room after hours of wait . The price did not exceed the value . There are plenty of over the top hotels with exceptional service this is not the first one .

This is a good place to stay. The place is old, but the rooms have been remodeled and the bed was very comfortable compared to any other hotel I have been in. Price was reasonable for location as well and it was a decent cityscape view.

Minimum room keeping

Minimum room keeping
The sheets are not changed, and the hand towels used are the same. Amenity replenishment is also halfway. Is this level paying $ 200!
Although it is the third use, this time is the worst. Never use it again.

Convenient location, you can walk to a large Mall within 3 minutes. You can do self parking without having to wait for valet times to retrieve the car. Large room with city views; you have to ask for the mini bar at the reception because the rooms do not have one; the room was not well cleaned, in the bathroom there were hairs and hairs both in the shower and on the floor ... something I hate and it really sucks. Staff very welcoming; satisfying fitness room; there is a coffee inside which opens early in the morning.

Check in process was a bit difficult due to miscommunication. The room is clean, but the sink is hard to access when someone is using the restroom. Other hotels separate the sink from the shower so there is less waiting.

A great location near downtown Portland. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food could be a little more reasonable but no sales tax in PDX helps with that. The hotel feels huge and the tower rooms- while a little dated-are comfortable and well appointed.

I've stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it has been very pleasant. The staff has been nice and inviting. The rooms are quite large and it's a great location, across from Lloyd Center Mall, Holladay Park, and the max light rail. Moda center is also right down the street. The bar/restaurant in the lobby has tasty bites and cool drinks. And to top it off, the breakfast buffet is also delicious and offers rotating daily offerings.

Stayed here for a week while I was relocating to the city. Admittedly a bit of a hotel snob (I work for them!), I do tend to prefer newer properties but the DoubleTree did a great job of keeping themselves modernized despite being a bit aged.

The staff was wonderful - especially the front desk and the concierge desk! Some faults to be found with housekeeping (not replacing my shampoo when empty), but only minor things.

My view of the city was great. While the hotel is not immediately downtown, the light rail is a few hundred feet away.

Drink specials at the bar during happy hour were great, though I never tried any of the restaurants on site. One fee that I will never understand in hotels: $12.95 for WiFi? That adds up after a week when your company isn't picking up the tab.

A good choice for anybody visiting the wonderful city of Portland who doesn't mind being a tiny bit removed from all of the action.

It was alright. The comforters were dirty and stained. The windows had drawings on them, they comped the $20 parking for the inconvenience. The hinges of the door were covered in some sort of mold/dirt substance. I would rather spend $20 more and stay at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower, Southwest 6th Avenue, Portland, OR for a little bit more.

I was in town for the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. This hotel is a very short 10 minute walk from the convention center, and lots of good food places are nearby. The accommodations are very comfortable and the restaurant in the lobby surprisingly affordable. Definitely will be back for next year's expo.

The check-in process was a bit of a chore as the were large amounts of guests checking in throughout the evening of my arrival and only two desk agents were available, they should have prepared for that known-influx. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and the room met my expectations. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Big, Big hotel with Standard cookie cutter Doubletree Rooms with Nice Beds and Flat Screens. Renovated Hotel just a couple years back. The restaurant is actually pretty good and the main lobby is kinda cool. For the price and location though, you could find a lot cooler Portland Hotels like Hotel Rose or The Juniper or even a McMenamins. All in all not a bad stay and on the positive it's close to the Max line so easy access to everything. Not to mention Lloyd Center Mall is right across the street
