Staff was nice, lobby was beautiful, the room itself was a little small and felt dated compared to the rest of the hotel.

The building's a little dated, but the staff was great. Location is very convenient to transit.
I would give this hotel 5 stars, BUT, the cleaning staff is SO LOUD - good luck ever sleeping late, or taking a nap. It's like they have a contest with each other to slam doors as loudly as possible - and then they are screaming/yelling down the hall to each other. Really obnoxious!
The room where the event happened was great, well organized with planty of space
Good rooms. Good service. Very nice pool. Really enjoyes my stay here. Would recommend.
The place feels a little old, but well maintained. The staff at the front desk were helpful and professional.
Was here on April 23rd for my husband's company's shareholder meeting, drove from La Grande for the one day event. Was told our lunch was being prepared by a 5 star Chef, my husband had chosen the Steak and I had the Salmon, what showed up on my husbands plate was not a steak, but pieces of beef, bite sized and very very bland in flavor, and one of the desserts was a red velvet cake. It must of been sliced and plated hours before our luncheon, it was so very dry and crumbly! Then 2 days later I returned back for a 4 day, 3 night conference, we had 200+ people for our conference and was charged $22 per person for our lunch. It was a croissant sandwich with a side red potato salad, which the chunks of onions were bigger than the diced potatoes and 1 fresh strawberry that the butts were not cut off, mine was green. And then for our first dinner on Friday night was a stuffed chicken breast, it was so dry and crumbled when cutting. And then our toilet was first running and not filling after flushing, called and they sent the engineers up, 2 of them to be exact, they said they fixed it. Then the toilet would not flush at all, once again we called, the same to men came up, said it was fixed. Then the toilet would not quit running again, every 40 seconds or so it would spray water, so now it is 10:30 at night so once again we call, now a different man comes up, was in and out in less than a minute. Now it is getting worse, you can hear the water spraying twice a minute, so at 11:00 pm we call for a 4th time, it takes 2 more calls and a half an hour later and a security man came up and said the plastic tube needed to go inside some other tube and not outside of it, finally at 11:30 at night the toilet is fixed. Still have 2 more nights and 4 more meals here! :(
Great location, friendly staff. And warm cookies at check in are always great!
Free cookies at check in! Located across the street from the Lloyd center shopping mall. Parking is in an attached parking garage with room key access.
Parking seemed excessive for a two hour daytime event
Staff was extremely nice and very helpful in helping me find find the room I was supposed to be in
Nice hotel, has convention space that is split between 2 floors and has large ballrooms for bigger events.
The bed was really comfortable, room clean. Facility handled our convention well
Not the worst DoubleTree I've been to, bit certainly not great. Dated, and not the cleanest in the chain
The front desk comped our parking and gave us free breakfast just because! The room is huge and they accommodated us by bringing up a crib before we got into the room and bringing a rollaway later when requested. We will stay here again.
Only dropped by to be picked up for a tour to the waterfalls in Portland. But we did interact with the front desk and they were very helpful and courteous.
Just dropped someone off .. driveway was large and plenty of room for loading and unloading.
They make there rooms seem so updated and big but that is false my friends. I have had nothing but good experiences with the double tree but unfortunately this time was different. Our room hadn t even been vacuumed or swept when we got there. It was 27$ to just park in the parking structure next to it. The elevator in the parking garage literally smells like pee and the staff are slow and unhelpful. Very disappointed.
Went for a pickup from a local tour of mount hood. The receptionists were very nice and the reception hall was beautiful.
Stayed at the Multnomah Street DoubleTree for 3 nights. Fairly nice hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Subtracting a star due to maid service being below average.
Only attended an event there - did not stay in a room. Parking garage could use some upgrades and better signage.
Nice clean rooms. Great service. Bit costly. Free breakfast for only diamond hilton honors members.
It was hard to find the conference room at first, and was hard to concentrate on the presenter because the room was cold. Also, there was a daycare right next door with crying and screaming kids who also made it difficult to listen to the speaker.
The staff at the Double Tree is amazing! The non profit I am involved with comes to this hotel regularly for our events.
Great place to stay. Was here for a convention all weekend and had a total blast. Would love to come back again.
Not bad. The lobby and restaurant is nice, room service food was good. But for some reason they have about a 1.5" gap under the entry door of the rooms, so any hallway noise comes right into your room. I put a towel in the gap to keep the room quiet at night.
Always a fan on brand standards.
Located downtown next to the Lloyd Center. Plenty to do in the area.
Room was clean and lots of space. Balcony overlooking nothing exciting.
Parking garage was fine.
Decent sized room on the 3rd floor over looking a park was nice. Bed was really comfortable, however, the room could definitely be cleaner. Carpet in areas looked like it hasn't been touched in a while. The water in the shower was too miserly which made you stay under longer - defeating the purpose.
Plates were all dirty, food was slightly cold, and service staff wasn't friendly.
I have been there since and had a good experience. It is completely dependent on the staff working at the time. I have changed this from 2 to 3 stars since it's better but not consistent.
Attended a business function at DoubleTree Portland. The catered meal, in particular, was very enjoyable.
I went to shop at Geek the Halls. The facility at the double tree was nice and warm and the floor was well carpeted.
Nice room, friendly and helpful staff, excellent food options.
The AC wasn't quite sufficient for the amount of people, but other than that, it was a really nice location for the convention I went to.
Let's make the first floor great but leave the rooms terrible
Even though the double tree lobby is under construction the hotel is very nice.the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is pleasant and welcoming.
I think they are nice. My only complaint is that I reserved a room and they "oversold" you have a limited amount of rooms how do you oversell? So they sent me down the street to another hotel. Granted the reason I picked the hotel was because it was across the street from the facility I was visiting. Was pretty tired and this was frustrating. But they did pay for the hotel room which was nicer than the one I got at doubletree and doubletree did make amends by paying for breakfast and providing a fruit basket. I think the rooms are nice and facilities are nice. Their resturaunt downstairs is pretty good and fitness room is adequate. Overall pleasant experience would book again. Also, they gave me a cookie at checking that was hot and sweet. Walnut chocolate chip =)
Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Right next to the trimet max so easy to get downtown to explore.
I love these rooms here. They just remind me of a cozy bedroom. And I especially love the balcony s.. they are a bonus becauss they offer such great views of downtown.
It is the by far the worst hotel I have ever had. I had to change my room because the first room smelled so bad. The toilet was not clean!!!!!!!!!! and the sink was clogged. The second room was as bad as the first one. I found some clothes and socks. Barely a half star hotel!
Great location but everything in the hotel was a bit old. Our toilet runs on and on. The elevators took a very long time. There were no AC in the 13th floor common areas
Attended a training seminar. Comfortable chairs, the room was the perfect temperature, hot coffee was amazing & breakfast was ok, staff was smiling & unobtrusive.
Not too bad. The rooms are big and nice. Food was OK.
Very nice hotel. Dog friendly. Sketchy neighborhood.
Food was undercooked, raw beef, when we ordered room service. They never have is enough towels.
Nice rooms and a great lobby with food and spirits.
Had to wait a few hours for a room and there's construction, but overall a good experience.
Accommodations were nice and the staff I interacted with we're friendly and helpful. Location was excellent with a park on one side and the mall on the other. Lots of public transit options with in a short distance and a good size parking structure.
Good as usual and caught a very decent same night deal when I got stuck at PDX. Good, clean rooms, good breakfast, good views, decent internet speed, solid property. Thanks!
This is for Gather, the lobby bar/restaurant specifically. Convenient location obviously, and plenty of space for large groups. Good service, and solid beer selection. However the food is underwhelming, especially for the price.
The staff quickly helped me locate the Mt. St. Helens ballroom, which I was in for a work event. They were very courteous and helpful.
Very nice and centrally located near many restaurants and shops.
Across from a park and MAX light rail stop, this Lloyd District hotel is a 2-minute drive from Interstate 84 and 4 blocks from Oregon Convention Center.
Flat-screen TVs and free WiFi are offered in each room, which also feature custom-designed beds. Some rooms have balconies and downtown or mountain views. Suites have living areas, wet bars and patios or balconies, plus some have whirlpool tubs.
There are 2 on-site restaurants. There's also an outdoor pool and a fitness center. Other amenities include 45,000 sq ft of meeting/event space and a business center.
Clean room with plenty of space, but a few concerns: 1. Not enough elevators 2. Not clear if stairs are to be used, or just for emergencies 3. No fridge or microwave in the room? Really? 4. Fan in bathroom doesn't work. Towel rack is IN the shower. Overall it's an ok hotel, but it's nothing great.
Great hotel, no free breakfast but was still good to purchase. Lots of elevators and lots of parking. Great stay
Service was good. Girl who complained about service before was just short and couldn t reach the brownies.
Clean event, good crowd, well organized. Will attend again.
Paper thin walls. I can understand the conversations in the abutting room and anyone passing by in the hallways.
This was an older hotel with some upgrades. We had great check-in service (with a free upgrade) and a llvely balcony room with a view. The restaurant downstairs had the perfect food for a late dinner (delish Cesar salad, a flatbread and a seasonal bowl of grains and veggies with perfectly pan seared salmon). These beds were by far the softest in all of the Hilton chains that we have experienced, to our delight. Paired with killer chocolate chip cookies, we had a great comfort experience. If you are not familiar with driving in PDX, be very mindful of driving on the light rail lane, because it is not only dangerous, but it will get you a radar camera ticket when you leave the hotel to find I-5.
The place was great rooms clean and roomy warm cookies and bottled water right next to the Lloyd center and halloday park transit and bikes
The ballroom was perfect for our event and the hotel was setup quite well.
I went here for a conference, it was beautiful and the food was delicious. Parking was expensive though; $30 for 5 hours.
The only hotel staff I encountered were at the restaurant. They were friendly, hardworking, and very patient considering all of the shenanigans from the convention.
We attended Newcon hosted at the Double Tree hotel this past weekend. We had a great time. The venue was clean and nice and the staff was very helpful.
The parking structure was clean. The hotel was very nicely appointed. The staff, multicultural/multi-racial, was friendly and courteous and unerringly helpful. Also the food was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.
Clean professional centrally located with good food options and nice seating for business meetings.
AWESOME location that could see the river super well and the city scape
