The experience is very poor Diamond member occupancy Water and biscuits are not given The 717 quiet rooms given are replaced by 865 near the light rails. There are refrigerators or the hair dryers that are brought in after moving in. The hair dryers don't work Well. What do I need for a diamond member? Will not come again
The experience is very poor. Diamond members stayed. Water and biscuits were not given. The 717 quiet rooms were replaced with 865 near the light rail. It is not easy to use the refrigerator or the hair dryer after moving in. What is the use of diamond members? Will not come again

Had a most wonderful gathering sponsered by The American Diabetes Assn. & by OHSU. They were honoring people who had lived with diabetes for 50 years or more. We had a good lunch and good information & conversations.

Charging for Parking??? Probably not worth the price of the hotel room based on the per day cost with validation or if you are a guest. Nice lobby and close to several food places near the Lloyd Center.

We stayed here for a convention my husband was attending.
Well, for the money, I was a bit disappointed. There are 2" gaps under all the room doors, so there is essentially NO soundproofing, and we happened to be right near the elevators and ice machine. Awakened a lot throughout the night with loud goings on in the hall. The pool is great, but located within the property in such a manor that the building itself blocks any sun in more than a 10 foot moving radius you'll get throughout the day. A shady cold pool isn't really what I had hoped for on a summer weekend getaway. The room was hot and the air conditioning wasn't strong enough or a big enough vent to actually cool the room at all. Sweaty, restless nights. The hotel itself is dated and needs updating, but those aren't the most important creature comforts. I just expect more from this level of hotel.

The location of Doubletree Portland is great. It is across the street from a MAX station (quick ride across the river and downtown) and minutes from a mall. The room I stayed in was very standard, but the shower stall was a bit low. Also what costs extra versus what comes with the room rate was confusing, but that is more of a problem with Hilton's system instead of the hotel itself. Overall would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Definitely on the upper end in terms of doubletree hotels I've stayed at. Room was big and clean, every spot taken care of.

Would definitely come back if I needed to. View from the room I received was amazing.

This hotel is just wonderful. We visited recently for our anniversary and were not disappointed. The young lady at the front desk gave us many suggestions for things to do around town, even things that met our nerdy interests! Our room was clean and comfortable. They housekeeping staff was super friendly every time we interacted with them. The dinner at their restaurant, Gather, was magificent! The hotel is just across the street from the max line and near several bus stops, which is definitely the way to get around town! They have a really well kept pool area, and even when there are booked activities in their event spaces, it doesn't affect other guests. We visited Portland from the Midwest almost on a whim, and thanks to the excellent service and accommodations here, we will definitely visit again, and we know exactly where we'll be staying!

I've been to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel a couple times for different events. I enjoy going there because it's aesthetically pleasing and everyone is always so welcoming. I'd recommend visiting DoubleTree to anyone.

Great service and room, not to mention great view from the balcony! One minor thing that made me not 5 star, the wifi connection is bad, it constantly connects and disconnects. Would stay again :)

This is our 5 th year attending the West Coast Haunters Convention. Doubletree has always been the perfect spot. The hotel has everything a haunter could want including a 13th floor!!! We are able to have multiple events including classes, showroom floor, ball, meals, and more. This location truly has it all!

Attended a function there, staff were professional everything went off without a hitch from the appetizers to the dinner to the champagne toast afterwards. The room that the function was held in was also set up nicely, nice place to hold a family get-together with family and friends.

Check-in was a breezy, plus you get a free warm cookie. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel isn't dated at all. The double queen room I got had plenty of space and even space for a desk with a computer chair. Bathroom is very clean.

We stay here this month 3/9/13. The staff is really friendly and kids love the fresh hot cookie. Hotel looks really old, need some make over (just imagine it's Hilton own).

Worst part of the Hotel is the entry door. Every door in the Hotel have a 2 inch maybe space at the bottom, you can hear or maybe peak inside on that space.

When inside, you can here every door on your floor being slam or alot of people are mad.

No Free WiFi, you need to pay for it.

I went to an Amazon event to get a job. I did not know where the event was, but the employees were kind enough to show me the location of the event inside the DoubleTree. They even validated my pass to parquiar.

Great hotel. They were having a halloween party in june for the staffs, so it made a very interesting atmosphere with zombies walking around. The front desk also gives you their double tree signature cookie for free, fresh out of the oven.

The location is pretty nice since its only a 5 min tram ride to downtown Portland. It's also only a couple minutes ride away from the Oregon Convention Center and a large mall. The panel rooms were nice. Didn't stay on the hotel, was only there for a convention.

False advertising! THE POOL IS CLOSED DUE TO COVID 19. They charge for parking $37 a night. The rooms were nothing great. Barely any pillows. NO FRIDGE!! Too expensive for what you get. Great views of the city from the 13, 14 floor.
