Lobby bar has great food and service.highly recommend cauliflower tacos! Amazingly delicious room service pizza also! Very odd housekeeping practices...dirty towels piled on chair not romoved or replaced. Dirty glass from dinner left in room, tray taken. Just strange. Otherwise nice property, close to convention center and train stop.

I atrended an event in their upstairs meeting rooms. I wasnt an event organizer, so o didnt have a lot of interactions with the hotel, but all of the hotel staff I did talk to were friendly and helpful. Parking was quite full when I was there, but there were several events going on, and still some space available. Over all it was a lovely experience.

The location of this DoubleTree is very good - it is close to the Lloyd Centre Light Rail Station which makes it easy to travel downtown or the airport.
The staff is very helpful, and through my Hilton Honors membership, I was able to get a free upgrade to a bigger room. The rooms are big & have a queen/ king size bed, a work desk & a sofa. The bathroom is a decently sized bathroom & it comes with a sufficient amount of hotel provided toiletries.
The room also has a safe (something that not everyone provides).
All in all, for the price I paid, I was happy with my experience.
Also, don't forget to get a DoubleTree cookie at the reception - they're really good, and free.

This hotel was in a great location, it was a short and easy ride on the MAX train from the airport, and the hotel was right next to where I had to go. The customer service was great, we were going to buy toothpaste but they gave us some for free. Also they were giving everyone free cookies. The room was pretty, with a nice view of the neighboring park. The toilet made a little annoying noise, but it wasn't a problem with the bathroom door shut.

Despite a power outage, the staff of the hotel worked hard to make sure we could check in and get a room after a hard day biking in from Seattle and completing STP. The hotel is very modern with exceptionally clean and we'll appointed rooms.

The hotel room was mostly and clean modern. Except a stain on the sheets that resembled poop. The shower was awkward and the water temperature fluctuated a lot. The bathroom fan was broken. You couldn't see the awkwardly small television from the bed. Housekeeping woke us at 9 am to clean the room on a Saturday morning. It was by far the worst stay I had ever had at a Hilton.

Amazing staff and service. I have stayed at over 75 Hilton locations, and this was hands down best in class service. The staff was friendly, genuine, and caring, which trumps any amenity or feature. I now have even more reason to visit Portland and know exactly where to book. Thank you for a great visit!

Beautiful, wonderful hotel. It is obvious the room has been renovated however the bathroom sink seemed a little dated but still wonderful. You work with what you have and I think doubletree brings it home once again. Not a fan of the pay for your own parking as I booked via a third party site but $27 a day is doable.

Overall a nice place.

Overall a nice place.

Pros:
View is incredible. On 13th floor facing mountains, it was gorgeous.
Beds are comfortable, clean.
Staff are friendly.
Pets are welcome for a fee.
The place is nicely decorated, looks premium.
There is a public park next door which is great if you have furry friends and next door to that is the train which gives you access to all of Portland.

Cons:
(Note: this is mostly nit-picky stuff)
No appliances in the room other than a coffee maker. Saw a mini fridge in the hallway so maybe just our room didn't have one?
You have to pay to park for your entire stay which is expensive.
There is no free breakfast. ($18 for an omelette...)
You have to sign up for Hilton's mailing list just to access the free WiFi. Be ready for a lifetime of junk mail just for a few nights of subpar internet.
The toilet paper SUCKS. Bring your own!!

The staff are helpful and cheerful. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable. The view is gorgeous, especially from the elevator, which is glad and looks out over Mount Hood and Mount St Helens

I couldn't have asked for a better hotel to celebrate my birthday. The room was amazing - spacious, extremely clean, and the most comfortable mattresses and pillows EVER!! Had a lovely dinner in the lobby restaurant where the food we were served was nothing short of incredible. The warm cookie received upon check-in was just the icing on top of everything else.

This place has an amazing view and most of the rooms have balconies you can actually go out on and see downtown Portland what a fantastic view of the sun is coming up that friendly staff in the hotel is super easy to get to the one downfall is parking parking is super difficult in that area what they have done is build a parking garage about for floors that you can park on it is not attached to the hotel and it is not a really far walk to get to the hotel but it's certainly is a little bit of a walk

I booked a 2 bed on the top floor. The view was great! Everything was close by including the mall. I was disappointed in the fact that breakfast was not included, parking was also an extra fee, and our room did not have the standard microwave and refrigerator like I'm used to. It was a good stay for the visit but I will book elsewhere next time. It did not have all the accommodations I expected for the price you pay.
