They charge 27 bucks for parking even your a guest. There's no complimentary breakfast. Payment options for wifi options. They comped the parking and wifi after I complained so I gave them an extra star. Clean room and good location.

We paid for a room with a queen size bed and we got a full size instead. It was a ripoff of paying $200+ for it with the room also being very small. Also, I thought it was highly inappropriate that the lady at front desk messaged my boyfriend through his personal cell phone asking how our stay was so far 30 minutes after checking in. But it is a convenient location with the mall across the road and the moda center down the road.

Poor communication, service, and follow-thru. Where do I start? Checked in and was told we would receive free breakfast in the am but would pay for parking. The opposite was true. Day one the maid was banging on the door at 8am. We asked her to return at 10. She was back at 9. Was granted late check out on our last day, but an over eager staff person checked us out of the room early and the maid was demanding entrance into the room. I made multiple trips to the front desk for help and got different answers from multiple staff. The room was dirty and it was one of the hardest hotel stays ever. The only one who was amazing was Collette at the Multnomah restaurant on property. She cared and helped us navigate some of the issues we had with being given wrong information upon check-in. Thanks Collette!

We have stayed here on a couple occasions. The rooms are nice, while the area surrounding it isn't anything too gorgeous. Nice thing is there is plenty to do around there. This hotel is much more for conventions then leisure staying.

The room was clean except for the poop stain on the sheets. The bathroom fan was broken. The shower was awkward & the water temperature fluctuated. Housekeeping woke us up at 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning. The walls must be thin, as you could easily hear your neighbor.

The glass elevators are fun! You get a nice view of the mountain on a clear day. It's ok, as far as hotels go, but not quite what I had expected.. Our room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave, plus there was no fan in the bathroom, so the whole hotel room got muggy after someone took a shower. We only stayed two nights, and it was pretty average.

Doubletree, more like the giving tree! After an abissmal stay at the nines that left me wondering why the hell did we pay all this money to stay at a five star hotel only by name that looks like Mardi Gras threw up, the Doubletree Portland left me feeling redeemed.
Aptly sized rooms, brilliant service, even their head of security took the time to help us get some milk for their delicious complementary cookies. They also had a natural clean air smell, and didn t leave you with a headache you get from other hotels whom are significantly more overpriced (the nines).
The only thing we hated about this place was that we had only spent one night here after an attrocious, overpriced, piss poor experience with The Nines.

The room was clean and nice but I felt like it was slightly rundown for the caliber of hotel. The fridge was beat up, the artwork was cracked, and the bed was lumpy. Also the shower/tub was awkwardly small.

The staff was very helpful. Check in and out was convenient. The two problems I had was that the pillows were extremely uncomfortable and you had to be a member to their club in order to use the WiFi which was extremely annoying. I will probably not bust there again unless they change their Internet access policy.

The room we are staying in is very well kept and was super neat when we arrived. The staff are knowledgable and incredibly nice. The view is also really amazing even though we are not on the top floor of the hotel. :)

Buyer beware! For a Hilton this is a super Chinsy place. PARKING NOT INCLUDED. Why should it be if they can charge you an extra $30 a night for a very expensive hotel to begin with.
We got a "deal" with a travel site but I unfortunately didn't read the fine print. For $20 extra I could have gotten a room with a king bed/tub/balcony and probably a better view than the roof top and a corner of the pool.
All in all, what we needed was a bed since we arrived late and left early. I'm just not sure this room was worth $200 + extra everything.
Another $20 a person for breakfast as well. So. The pros are, it's literally next to the max stop. Walkable to a lot. Decent beds and nice linens.
Cons are everything listed. High price for no amenities. Like only a shower and really bad view. The wifi did not work at all, so that was also annoying. There are no bathroom vents.
Weird cheap extras tacked on like parking and breakfast.
If your company is paying for this, go for it. If you're paying for it, it's a little better than a motel, and you'd get more at a mid level motel.

I was there for a conference recently. The food was really good, the location was comfortable but felt a little worn, and the restrooms were a bit dirty. The staff is prompt and courteous. Overall a good experience and would consider hosting an event there.

In town for a conference. Beautiful hotel (although the front entrance is under construction at the moment), very friendly and efficient staff. They even gave us warm chocolate chip cookies upon checking in! Spacious room, and incredibly plush and comfortable bed, pillows, and comforter. Frankly, considering checking the brand of pillows the use so that I can purchase my own. I haven't purchased food items the hotel, but the hotel is conveniently located, and near public transit. Five stars for the staff, room, overall aesthetic, and convenience.

We just dropped by to get ready for a wedding and had a couple of beers at the bar. Looks like a decent place. The prices of the drinks during happy hours were great. The rooms, apparently are pricey though. Facilities look great too.

I was there for a conference. It's not the best place I've ever been but it wasn't the worst either. The rooms for the breakout sessions were pretty dark though. At conferences the food is important to me. The food provided by the hotel was better than ok, but just shy of what I would consider good. WiFi was crummy, but it always is at hotels anyway. Overall I'd give this place a solid B-.

Called 3am to see if they were able to reserve a room for us for an early check in at 6am. They were able to accommodate us no problem even though their regular check in is at 4pm. Hotel is a little outdated but rooms are clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying overnight.

No guest laundry.. very inconvenient... No attempt at providing breakfast, others are finding a way.. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for parking.. especially when the convention center/mall is closed.. hotel staff was friendly and helpful.. sent up a fridge on request.. not sure why it wasn't there to begin with..
