I attended a professional event in one of the conference halls. We were served chicken cordon bleu and some steamed vegetables. The food was slightly above average. I've been to many events in Portland and the Hilton always does a good job.

Really nice open bar, buffet style lunch space. Decent breakfast, although the staff refused to use clean uncontaminated pans and utensils to make a veggie omelet.

The head of the food division, did take care of us, after complaining. And covered our breakfast made to order at the bar restaurant.

Spacious center of the hotel, has very lofty ceilings and a general enjoyable ambiance.

Awesome deserts, and a reasonable priced concession stand, beside the front desk... To acquire snacks and cold brewed coffee.

Located outside the downtown Portland area so a little harder to access the more expensive restaurants. Very close to the convention center and moda so if you're in town for that it'd be perfect.

The hotel is very nice compared to others we've stayed at. We used Priceline and got a rate of 67 per night, but also paid 25 a night for parking and 25 a night for our animal. We still ended up saving a lot more than the Extended Stay America. The room they gave us does not have a fridge/microwave and we don't get free WiFi because we used Priceline instead of booking with Hilton.

Stayed here 3 nights. Rooms are small but not dated. Everything was clean. The building is very interesting, the art and decor are pleasant and modern. Staff was attentive and kind. No microwave, hairdryer, mini fridge, in the single queen room we stayed in and the price was steep for the size of the room but it's Portland so I expect that. They have parking on site for $20 a day and valet parking for $25. Parking garage was well lite and felt secure. Room service was fast but the food from the breakfast menu was very boring and bland and wad way over priced. The dinner and drinks place in the lobby...Gather...I think it was called, had amazing food and great staff. The soba noodles were awesome. I will stay here again but I will be upgrading the room. It will be worth the price.

I have only been in the event space next to the hotel. It's alright though it could do with an update. The carpet is a bit old and the room just feels outdated. That being said, it's a great size at the least.

Our suite was down stairs best to the pool down a mildewed hall. Room was nice, but really not pleased with the location. When I mentioned this to the front desk clerk, she just told me that they had a lot of people staying there. No remedy. Breakfast was good. Saw a room in the upper floor and it was fine.

I attended the Friends of the Library Fall Used Book Sale at the DoubleTree. I can't speak for the hotel's other amenities but the sale was amazing! I can say that the space was clean, well-lit and organized. There was on-site parking and the sale validated so it was only $3.

The view in my room overlooks a park with mt hood in the background. The drinks and drinkstaff were great. Cookies on demand and comfy beds. The only downside is the weak water pressure.

I am not staying at the DoubleTree. An event I was attending was having their registration here. It had a nice lobby but it was quite warm with the number of people going in and out. There was a small bar that was nice. That's all I saw.

Clean hotels, extremely military friendly. This place was great. The bar is a fun place to go at night when you just want to sit back and relax. The elevators are real fun, they are all glass and you can seen the beautiful streets of Portland in them. This place was at a decent price point and worth the money!

Loved it for location and staff. Was not told about parking until later . Cough cough .....but I will still come back any time. The staff is what makes this place ! Pet and family friendly. Walking location to any thing.

We were surprised that there was no mini fridge or microwave in the room, be sure to ask. The room seemed clean but had a bad odor, we finally found a take out container with rotten food in it behind the curtains on the window sill. Yuck!

i use to come here frequently 5 years ago and just visited again for the first time in a while and was surprised to see the lack of updates. i believe they have updated the common areas some, but the rooms are the same, just run down. won t return unless they update the rooms.

This place is located directly across from the Llyod Center. That can be a good and bad thing depending on what you expect to do in Portland. It's close enough for a quick Uber or Taxi across the bridge and into "downtown," but only walking distance or a short max ride to the convention center and the Moda Center.

However, the actual hotel is pretty nice considering how old it is. The lobby is gorgeous and equipped with a restaurant as well as a separate bar.

The rooms are a bit small, but very clean and updated .

Great place if your out of town looking to catch a Blazer game.

Every year, we head down to Portland as a family to celebrate a birthday. We really like this Double Tree because in addition to being a great location for shopping and dining, they also allow us to bring our family dog. We go back to the same Double Tree almost every year. We recommend staying here.
