It's not often that I'm so abhorred with the quality of food service somewhere that I'm inclined to bother writing a review. If you happen to be staying here and are considering ordering room service, do yourself a favor and light a $100 bill on fire, punch yourself in the gut, drink a pint of antifreeze, and go eat at McDonald's instead. The out of pocket cost will be about the same, the quality of food will be far better, and the gut feeling after consuming will be right on par. I'm not sure that I've ever paid more for lower quality food than this... in comparison, paying $14 for a boiled hot dog at a sporting event seems like good value. I've been served better food in hospitals.

Parking lot was just weirdly laid out and signs are definitely needed to guide you to entrance of hotel from covered parking area. Our room was in area that appeared to be under construction, but it was extremely quiet, except for the road noise coming from Quebec St. Sounded like we always had the patio door open, but it was not!! Was told there was no fridge in our room, only to find out last day, we had one. Would've been nice to know. Room was large, but only had double beds ( we had 3 in party) which is quite disappointing - having king at home, we felt like we were on a rotisserie with the doubles. Bathroom was nice but shower didn't have overly forceful spray and on last day, tub had trouble draining, which we did leave a note about. Hotel does sit across the street from mall with shops, restaurants, etc., so that was nice. Getting to downtown was extremely easy to do from hotel. Took about 15-30 min depending on time of day.

Make a reservation and cancel it three times until you get the ACTUAL price of a room. Clerk had a nasty case of RBF. Tons of "service" fees and the place looks like a Best Western on the inside. What did we pay for? Pass on Hiltons from now on.

For one the place is under construction while we are there, which was not disclose to me during the reservation process. Nor was there any type of discount on the bill because of the inconvenience of there main restaurant missing. Carpeting on the inside of the foyer entryway was a little thick for the smaller Wheels on suitcases these days. Made it difficult to handle suitcase and something else in other hand. Marble in areas was much easier. Carpeting continued up to room door. Pool hot tub and spa were there as advertised. However hot tub was outside and Spas were in bathrooms, so I could enjoy it with my wife. And according to my wife the woman's did not even work. All the staff that we interacted with were very kind and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and set up correctly, but no fan in bathrooms. Did have to ask for a refrigerator to be brought to the room. The refrigerator was less than to be desired but functioned properly. It looks like somebody threw it down the stairwell. And even though they are less than 20 minutes away from the airport and I did see buses for the hotel parked in the lot, they do not offer any type of airport shuttle, which I found out they did less than six months ago.

It was okay. They were doing construction while I was there so things were in a bit of disarray. The room was in good shape, though. I ordered a glass of wine to the room and it was one of the worst glasses of wine I've had. I'm not sure if it was rotten or what. It was bitter and full of particles (and cost $13 a glass). Overall the service was friendly. I think it's a 3 star hotel so I'll give it that.

Convenient location in regard to the airport and access to the interstate system. Good local shopping to. Hotel itself is well maintained, restaurant and services including Avis rental car in the hotel. Rooms are clean, well furnished with everything in working order. All managed by a staff that is both professional and knows what hospitality is.

I should have taken pictures. This hotel seems quite run down, and not of Hilton quality you would expect. The entrance is shiny and gleaming, but the rooms are dingy and dirty. Our room had a broken stand up lamp in it, a worn down chair, and loud air conditioner. These rooms could definitely use some work. Not as impressed as I thought I would be for price and location.

Nice property close to the airport... Indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. There is a pretty good breakfast buffet for $15.99 or free for diamond Hilton honors members. Some of the rooms have a balcony although the balcony is narrow and has no chairs.

Friendly staff and lots of free cookies. Our room was clean and nice. We loved the indoor heated pool, outside hot tub and beautiful sauna next to pool. We also ate dinner at sports bar and breakfast in cafe. Both excellent food!

Good overall. Stayed on the 9th (top) floor, but the view was of a residential area, no mountains in sight. There was no kitchen/comp breakfast, but that is typical of Doubletree hotels. Our room was a single King bed with extra sq footage.

I felt the price was very affordable, the place was great and the location very convenient. I liked the receiving area full of marble there's a Starbucks inside and a bar. However, I am giving 3 stars because they closed the pool and hot tub by 9:00 pm or so on Saturday night for cleaning.

The reservation operator should let folks know that the hotel is under renovation before someone books a room. Had I known this I would have gone somewhere else. The front desk seemed disinterested in the guest checking in. Although I did receive several emails asking for my feedback post checkout. The room was clean, although for 90$ there was no mini fridge or microwave. The bar was probably the highlight of the hotel experience.

3 stars and half? Not at all. I think it only deserves 2 starts. The lobby looks nice but upper level the hallway is dark and old. Room is small; air condition has weird smell. Wifi doesn't work well also. Paid $140 for nothing. Last time, the Hampton was bad as well so strongly feel all those "by hilton" are lies.

Doubletree Hilton in Denver was wonderful. We love our experience every time we stay in a doubletree. They always make you feel at home and take care of every need. Hands down one of the best hotels and service for the price out there.

Nice and clean room. I loved the mattress. It was so soft, I wanted to smuggle it out somehow. There was some construction going on either side of the front door. But, I was assured it's a temporary remodel/update. The staff was helpful and friendly. Especially when I accidentally placed my room key card to close to a magnet in my bag.
I didn't like the look out my window. I had a room facing east and down to air conditioner laden roof. I saw later the view on the west facing side had a great view of the downtown skyscrapers and rockies.
Given the occasion, I'd stay here again.

Great location, friendly staff. Remodeling was occurring so there was noise during day as to be expected, knowing if I could park anywhere was a problem that could have been addressed at check in (and entrances). Windows could have used a cleaning, on the 7th floor with mountain view and couldn't get a nice picture because of gray/black splatter across window. There was an issue with the phones, I was told I would receive a text so if I needed anything I could respond to that, I never received a text so did not try room service. They have a cute cafe, and a spa area that was closed for maintenance. Over all not the greatest experience but I think it was largely due to construction so I will go back after construction is complete.

Wonderful stay! Everything was so clean, the staff was so friendly. They would give you a shuttle ride to and from the train at any hour (that would then take you to union station dt Denver) You even get a warm cookie when you check in

Great value for the price. Room is a good size with a large corner desk. Towels and linens are clean and soft with a comfortable bed and proper amount of pillows. Hotel lobby is newly renovated and very nice, and I was told rooms will begin renovations in November '18. Six elevators means no waiting for extended periods of time to get to and from the room. Parking was crowded but I was able to find a spot, and free parking is always nice. Location is okay, not much in the immediate surroundings, but shops and restaurants are a short drive away. The only two issues I had were 1) a broken closet door that wouldn't slide, and 2) Hilton's infamous crappy free WiFi. I find myself avoiding Hilton chains any time I need to work out of my hotel room because it is borderline unusable. If this hotel was any more expensive, I would dock it a star, the WiFi is that bad. Fortunately with what you save in lodging you can use to buy the upgraded WiFi, which is just okay.

There are a few things worth mentioning. The rooms are dated and pretty run down really. Oh another reason we really liked the place is bc of the balcony, it was very nice but again dated, why no chairs or anything? We took the couch cushions and used them to sit on and enjoyed being on the balcony. The staff was all friendly and all that but again everything is dated. I feel like if they would update their rooms this could be a top place to stay. Another bonus is they have a very nice pool and hot tub, again dated. I d stay here again though.

Loved this place! We had an early flight the next day but got there early (noon) and they were able to check us right in. It was so perfect as we were able to enjoy the afternoon and evening in Denver and pick up the lite rail to the airport the next morning. We especially enjoyed the whiskey/bourbon tasting at 5:30 and the brandy sipping before we went to bed. We plan to return to this place again!

I stayed here last night woke up with a sore back had to sleep on the floor. My fiance paid 300 for one night told them it was her and myself and our two kids....they put us in a room with one bed. To top it off coffee maker is broken. This is not the hotel for kids. Needless to say. Never again. Wanted a fun family trip but this was not fun.

As a wheelchair user, I did not have a great experience at this hotel. The room itself was one of the most wheelchair accessible rooms I've used. Management was able to lower the bed for me, and the bathroom was spacious. The roll in shower had no lip to roll over, which is hard to find. I brought my own shower chair, but if I hadn't, there's was fairly large making transferring to it easy.

The hotel experience was pretty crappy. I had called ahead to make sure everything would be ready for me. I asked which room I would be in, and the lady at the desk told me 222 or 224. She also told me the would lower the bed for me. When I arrive, I was given 335. When I told the desk that I was assured which rooms I would be in, she said those rooms are taken. I was meeting friends later and didn't have time to fuss. So, I took the elevator up (in a different elevator than my friend because my stuff wouldn't fit with me in it. No one told me that I could get key access to the large elevator- I just kind of noticed the wheelchair symbol on that elevator.). When I arrived on the third floor, my room was down 2 hallways. I was very irritated by then, as its extremely tiring ro roll wheelchairs on hotel foamy carpet! I realized later that the 222 and 224 were closest to the elevators.

Upon arrival to my room, I realize that the bed was not lowered (I should've verified at the desk). Luckily, they were very prompt to lower the bed.

A couple days in, I had to do laundry at the hotel. I was disappointed to find out it was on the 27th floor at the end of the hall. When I got there, I realized the washer and dryer were stacked. When it came time to put my clothes in the dryer, I had to just throw them in. I had to wait for my friends to visit so they could take the clothes out for me. It was very frustrating.

Altogether, I will not be staying at this hotel again. I think I would've enjoyed it had I not been in a wheelchair. I just don't think that many years should be shed over a 3 night stay at an inaccessible hotel.
