We had a decent stay but the property shows its age. I will start out by saying that the service at this property was great and staff were incredibly friendly, from the front desk to the restaurant. The rooms are very spacious which was a definite plus. The beds were generally comfortable with decent linens. The rooms and property, however, are a bit older and it shows. Our closet door fell off the tracks the last day; the toilets clogged easily; and the there was a lot of dampness on the floor near the windows (which I assume was from rain). The rooms could also use a few more outlets near the nightstands. Also, the wifi was incredibly slow and unreliable. As a Diamond member, I was supposed to have "premium" wifi. However, I was only able to pull maybe 2-3 Mbps, which hardly seems premium. The service is good enough to possibly warrant a return trip but I would love to see a deeper renovation to correct some of the other issues.

Rooms are spacious with modern decor. Bedroom has king with plenty of room to walk around and the bathroom isn't right on top of the bed. No need to worry about being awoken by your other in the middle of the night by a potty break. The bathroom is updated. Crabtree and Evelyn products are provided. Again there is room to move if you and a friend need to do your make up or get ready at the same time. The living room has room for the pull out bed. There is a sign on the tv that it may not always work and how you can fix it when "The Evil Queen casts her spell". We found it to be a not so fun game. The pull out couch had no cushioning and was very squeaky. We didn't try the bed. The dining table was nice, round and held 4 people. There was a mini fridge, tiny sink, and small coffee maker for individual cups. An ice bucket and cups were also provided.
Here are the really big downsides...
It's advertised no hidden fees. Parking fees are next to impossible to find on the site. I actually found it somewhere else. Parking is $20/day. You discover this at check in. **Pro Tip for my disabled friends** if you have a tag, they have approx 8 disability parking spots outside their gated parking. Park there. You will not be charged the daily fee. The fee is charged when you swipe your key card to open the gate!
You are told there is free WiFi. The catch is you have to be a Hilton rewards member. Gotcha!
Breakfast...something to skip. It's a lackluster buffet you are charged $20/person plus tip! The food was barely palatable. Eggs were wet rubber. Toast was kinda toasted in one side and white on the other. Couldn't adjust it. Biscuits were dry. Gravy was great! Fruit was amazing, but very limited selection. Even my husband who will eat anything want pleased with his plate. We were thankful our meal was comped.
Final biggest pet peeve...check in is at 4, which is late to begin with. We came at 4:30p from the parks to rest for a few and not be cheering in at midnight. Just wanted to come back and crash. Our room was not ready. Lady from NY said it would be at least another 20 minutes. She'd give us a key and we could come back after park closing. This defeated the purpose. I asked for another room and was told there weren't any to sit and wait. No apology. 15 minutes later another, longer lady comes over, apologizes, tells us she find another room and is giving us free breakfast. It was almost 5 by the time we were given our room keys.

Over all it's a 50/50 chance of staying here again. The room was mostly nice. Living room area needs some love. Tv- useless. Check-in staff and timeliness needs major improvement. Food, no thanks. Room, pretty clean. Towels, close to light grit sandpaper.

Worst Disney experience ever...we have 2 handicapped parents with power scooters. It takes us OVER 2 hours to even get to the parks OR back... Stay at at a Disney Resort if you are handicapped. I've never had this bad of experience with transportation. It ruined our trip. It happened every single day....so I can't say that it was just misfortune. I write this review as we wait again for a bus back....we have seen plenty of buses come and go to other places....just none to ours.

Gorgeous hotel. Friendly check in. Warm cookie. Complementary water in the room. Clean, clean, clean. A little surprised I had to pay for parking on top of the prices I paid for the room but it didn't damper my trip.

Very friendly staff. Check in and check out was extremely smooth. We signed up for the little extras, the soda machine was there and working but the snack machine was missing. The room was extremely nice and we had a nice view from the room.

I like the extra room the suite gives you and the location is great. However we had some bugs in our sheets when we first arrived and earwigs in the shower multiple days in a row. The staff was very nice but kept putting a duvet cover back on the bed when we requested they not. The shower/bathroom has no fan, WTH Hilton? However it's way nicer than the "value" Disney properties, most of which remind me of college dorms. Would I stay here again, maybe. I would look for something nicer at a good value but I could fall back on this place now that I know what to expect.

Really happy with the quality of the hotel, the cleanliness of the rooms, and value. Our room had two queens and sleeper sofa. For entertainment we also borrowed DVDs from the front desk at no cost and that was a great addition to our relaxing at the end of the day at the parks. There is complimentary shuttle service to and from the parks once a day too which is nice. You can grab cookies fresh from the front desk too! We will be staying again in the future.

I stayed at DoubleTree Suites for a very short vac...

I stayed at DoubleTree Suites for a very short vacation with the family. We had the insanely stupid idea that it would be fun to go to Disney World for a day with our 3 children right before Christmas. If any of you decide at some point in your life to possibly verbalize a similarly ridiculous idea, then just stop. It's a terrible terrible idea!

Anyways, since we were coming from Jax, we needed a room for the night so we could hit the streets of Disney before the chaos began (this statement alone should illustrate my ignorance).

The hotel is very conveniently located near all of the major theme parks as well as near several other things to do such as restaurants and entertainment should you decide that selling one kidney to visit a Disney theme park wasn't enough punishment. The outside of the hotel is nothing exciting but is acceptable for the price range. Parking is also ample and conveniently located but it is generally an upcharge (although we lucked out in visiting at a time when their parking meters weren't working so we parked for free).

We arrived fairly late and were planning on leaving fairly early so our needs were limited for our visit. We were really just looking for a comfortable, clean suite to get some sleep. We were pleasantly surprised by the suite which was roomy and nicely decorated. Everything appeared well maintained and reasonably clean and my children quickly fell asleep in their beds. But oh, the beds..... I tossed and turned and tossed and turned but couldn't manage to find a way to get comfortable on the uber-cheap mattress. I was at one point tempted to sleep on the floor because it was so bad. My back and neck would be very sorry the next day as we waited around Disney to meet Elsa (if that wasn't hard enough on its own)!

As I mentioned earlier, the dining options near the hotel are plentiful which is a good thing because the price of food here is outrageous! I made the mistake of asking how much breakfast was and was informed that a hot breakfast, which would consist of items you get for free at a low-end hotel, would be $18/person (which amounts to $90 for my family) and the "continental breakfast" which was made up of cold cereal, fruit and muffins would cost $12/person. I thought I saw a bit of shame in the eyes of the concierge as he told me that. His hotel was attempting to bend me over their knee and spank me and he knew it! I could almost take my family to Ruth's Chris for that price. Luckily there is your friendly neighborhood diabetes factory immediately across the street so we chose that option instead.

Overall, of the hotels in the area this is a decent choice. The price is okay for a large family (if you don't eat the food) and the rooms are nice. Just remember to bring a sleep aid to help you through a night of bedding on a rock.

Elizabeth at the front desk was amazing! Our reservation could not be found. She calmly acted immediately to help us which reduced my stress after a long day of travel. She even sent us birthday cake! Best front desk experience ever!! Also the suites are huge, almost like being in a condo rather than a typical hotel room. Best front desk experience ever!! Fav hotel by far and great value.

This is not my first Disney experience but it is for this location. The rooms are of a very decent size. It comes with two queen-size beds and a sofa-bed in the living room for like 6 people even thou they say it cannot fit more than 4 people. This time I went with 12 people so two rooms was enough but they made me book three because of occupancy reasons. Anyway, the stay was excellent event tho they gave us three separate rooms in three different levels. (Suggestion: try to accommodate large groups in same floor. Pretty sure there was three continuos rooms). We booked this trip two months in advance and we mentioned that this was a birthday trip. At Disney they gave us birthday pins so all the cast members knew who was the birthday person. At the hotel no single one knew why we were there. (Suggestion: a little note, cookie or something just to make the guest happy can make the difference). The price was very decent and it comes with free transportation to Disney parks every half hour. We stayed for fours days and we enjoyed every single hours of Disney. Just the hotel thou. Those little details are the ones that can make the difference. After all, you are selling memories/experiences not just rooms.

Robert Tribe The room was nice. It is more expensive than the competitors right next door. There isn't an ice machine on each floor. Lastly they charge for parking which I was baffled because of how expensive the room was. The parking isn't covered with no security so unless you valet I don't think there should be a charge for parking.

This place is ok. My bed wasn't the best or worst. Pillows were flat. The room wall plugs were worn out which made it difficult to charge my electronics. The food at restaurant was good. The check in staff was friendly but some of the rest of the staff not so much.

This is a 3 star hotel with no bells and whistles. Also there is NO HOT water for showers. Everyday we got back from the parks the water was cold from 4-7. On check out say water was also cold. Front desk staff aren t sympathetic to complaints. When i was checking out i heard another person complain about lack of hot water and front desk person acted like she never heard the complaint before but i said the same to her two minutes earlier. Bar and restaurant staff were very nice and understood customer service to a tee. We bought our passes at the front desk and they didn t work w phone app we had to call into Disney and after about an half hour got them to work. Get extra hours vouchers if you plan to go from the the front desk passes didn t work

Room filled with smoke from melted rubber during a hotel evacuation. Eyes itched and runny nose for the rest of stay and no effort to remedy the situation. Asked for an air purifier and was ignored. I'm a Hilton Diamond member, do yourself a favor and stay at the Buena Vista Palace.

The hotel was great and the staff very helpful. This area can be very confusing, although well marked, so asking some specific questions re your package does help and the staff will find out. One tip...between disney parks take disney buses. The hotel buses are really for back and forth to hotel although they will get you to some parks on their route...between parks it's faster. Teens loved avatar and test track at epcot. Beds were comfortable and wifi great!!
Bus set up is excellent

Stayed here my birthday weekend, slept in until 11am one day. I woke up to blaring music, car horns, and screaming so loud my BED WAS LITERALLY VIBRATING. called the front desk and asked politely when the parade would be over. Was given a really nasty attitude from the receptionist with no warning (very confusing), and told the event would likely go on all day because the group had rented out the premises "so they can do whatever they want". Much more upset about the attitude than the actual wedding, I have never been treated that way by double tree. Will not stay again, would not recommend. This entire experience could have been averted had they warned me ahead of time, or even feigned the slightest politeness when I'd called. There are better options.

My family and I had a great stay. The staff was great. The room was super spacious and cleaned very well. I absolutely loved the sliding door to the bedroom. It was like being in an apartment. It was nice to have a separate dining area too. The pool and hot tubs were very nice. They stayed open until 11:00 pm which was nice after a long day of enjoying the city. The bar and restaurant staff were nice too. The drinks were not watered down like a lot of hotel bars. The food was very affordable and fast. We'll be back soon!!

Upgraded to Executive Suite. Nice room with lots of space. The staff at this hotel is always at their best. One stay they asked the reason for our visit and we said for our daughters birthday and first visit to Disney... The staff member took her to the Disney store located in the hotel and let her pick the gift of her choice. This recent stay we had a lovely breakfast hosted by the amazing Louree ... Her bubbly personality and way she makes you feel as if you have been invited into her home was just infectious! 5 stars for her!

I have been very disappointed in my family's stay ...

I have been very disappointed in my family's stay here at the Disney Springs Doubletree. I called right after booking to ask if there was anything they did for birthdays and I was told they were putting a note on my reservation that said it was our son's birthday and there would be a birthday surprise for him waiting in our room. We arrived late on Wednesday night and I was not even greeted by the woman working the front desk. She put her finger up at me telling me to wait. I was so tired and I just wanted to get my sleeping toddler into a bed that I did not say anything but was very taken aback. This is not the customer service I usually recieve from Hilton properties. She did not even tell me where my room was located, just handed me keys and walked away. Once we got in our room I realized there was no birthday anything in our room and once I started to unload our cooler I realized our refrigerator was dirty. I wiped it down myself and finished unloading. In the morning I realized all of the extra items I had requested at booking were not in our room. While at Disney on Thursday I got a text from Leslie at the hotel asking how our stay was. I responded with the issuses and she never replied to me. We have walked by the front desk at least twice a day and no one ever makes eye contact or smiles at us. It feels so unwelcoming. I hate that I paided to stay here and feel this way. I was very upset that Leslie never got back to me to try and make anything right for our stay. There our pages in our room that say "Give us a chance to make it right" but then they don't respond to you if something is wrong? A little customer service goes a long way and we received none in a 3 day stay at this hotel. Also the bus service is never promt and there is not a direct or safe way to walk to Disney Springs like stated on their website. I would avoid this hotel and it's terrible staff.

This property is situated close enough to Disney Springs that you can make about a 15 minute walk to the easternmost shops. There is also a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes or so during normal park hours. If you are familiar with the area transportation system then this is an easy amenity to utilize. The rooms are spacious and clean as you would expect from the brand.

I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. During which I only asked to have the room cleaned 1 time. I was told that they will only exchange our towels (if we have them in a pile), refill our hygiene, and take the trash out. I asked if we could possible have the room vacuumed since I have a little one and the floor got rather messy. I was told that they do not vacuum occupied rooms right now. I also had to pay a resort fee for each night we were there, for what? I used the pool but that was it. The restaurant was not open there was no transportation to Disney Springs or anywhere else for that matter. I do not believe a resort fee is necessary given there are no extras available during this time. Hilton also cancelled the other hotel I had already paid for (a month prior to my trip) and was informed that it would take up to 30 days to process a refund, which I still have not gotten. It has been over 30 days at this point and was told that I just have to wait longer. The water in the room barely got warm enough to tolerate a shower or to bathe little ones. To top it off I was walking at the foot of the bed and stepped on a diabetic lancet. I took the lancet to the front desk and gave it to them and told them the situation and asked them if they had a sharps container to put it in. The gentleman at the front desk asked if i was okay and said thank you for letting him know. I also really wish they would have refunded our money on time, especially since we had to pay for a second hotel room prior to going. They do have a nice concept of having digital keys on your phone but mine never worked. I was forced to get plastic key cards from the front desk. I also called about issues we were having with our TV's, there was no menu or guide to know what we were watching. Maintenance came and checked and told us that this particular system was not working. I was pretty disappointed in our stay with this particular hotel. The staff I did interact with were friendly and answered the questions that I had though.

My experience at this place for being my 1st time ...

My experience at this place for being my 1st time wasn't to my expectations. All you get included in your stay is cookies and coffee until 11am. In my room I dealt with a clogged sink for 2 days after I got there before they fixed it and the refrigerator barely gets anything cold. The sofa looked dirty and old which I didn't even want to sit on. BEWARE!! The worst of it is that my daughter got a bacterial infection that looked like a flesh eating bacteria from the pool. I contacted them and they did nothing but said everything in their pool is good. I had to take my daughter to the emergency room and she was put on antibiotics for 7 days with hopes that it gets cured. for the price I paid for 7 days here it's not worth it. Never again and I will not recommend anyone to this place.

I hesitate to write this review, as if it was not ...

I hesitate to write this review, as if it was not for the staff, this review would be 1-2 stars.

First, let me begin by offering a HUGE bravo to the hotel staff. Attentive, polite, respectful, professional, and above all, ON TOP OF COVID-19 precautions. Such incredible service from the front desk, to the gentleman at the pool. Bravo!

Now, regarding the property? Not worth the exuberant cost of the rooms. Dated and borderline not worth the premium location status.

Bed sheets feel like they have not been replaced since the hotel opened. Stiff and rough on the skin. Their pillows feel like they have been sent to a pillow fight party, destroyed, sewn back together, and then washed. (See pictures) Seriously considered driving up to walmart and buying a $5.99 pillow from there, would ve been so much more comfortable. Their King Size mattress felt like the wires had popped out and were trying to pierce through my side body.

The tv in the bedroom does not work. All we could get was the Hilton ad. (Love Anna Kendrick, but not on repeat) The DVD machine in the lobby resets after 2 seconds, so you can t really browse the movie collection. Towels look old and some of them had stains. Pool towels seem like they were purchased at a flee market and thrown in an industrial washing machine. (aka, falling apart)

The pool chairs are very uncomfortable. The mini fridge in the room did not keep things cool.

I write this and point the things that are not meant to be affected by the current global situation. These are room/pool amenities that would be the same regardless of limitations or not.

If this is read by the GM at the Double Tree, you should speak with the property owner about mayor, needed upgrades. If this is read by the Hilton group, you should look into this hotel. In my humble opinion, it does not live up to Hilton standards.

Last, I d like to reiterate, and give a huge shoutout to Ben, Laura and Mohammed. Their hospitality was superb, their professionalism was extraordinary, and your ability to adapt and keep everyone safe was inspiring.

Would not be coming back here, that s for sure. But good service and workers should always be recognized regardless of situations.

My family knows my favorite hotel is the DoubleTree and anything Disney. They surprised me with a party for my 65th Birthday and Retirement celebration dinner at the DoubleTree Hotel at Disney Springs. We spent the entire weekend at the hotel. It was my first ever birthday party. The chefs prepared an awesome dinner the food really good they went above and beyond for my guests. The Director/bartender and her staff were great! OMGOODNESS our suite was beautiful and we had the best Red Velvet Cupcakes that I ve ever eaten. The entire DoubleTree staff were amazing! Our servers Pepa and Salt are just the best! Complimentary Breakfast was delicious. 5* Customer Service. Thanks for wonderful experience and a lifetime memory.

Unfortunate and disappointing visit to one my favorite hotel brand this weekend. As a long time Silver Hilton Honors members I am a huge fan of Hilton and the DoubleTree. My family and I are Disney AP holders and frequent the parks every couple months for quick weekends. We prefer the suites ,this being the only Hilton Suites hotel in Disney Springs we thought it would be great. The location, suites and amenities. The expectations feel flat. The room was nice and with good space but the room did not meet expectations. The room has what was the start of mold in the ceiling, it was also bubbling and peeling off. The toilet seat was broken and kept moving around when kids sat on it. Apart from that the bathtub never stopped running it had a constant drip even when closed tight. Needless to say very annoying in the middle of the night. When we spoke to the front desk all we got was well we are booked for the weekend and when you leave we will have engineering take a look...nothing was done. Not going to say that my oldest son getting sick after the first night had anything to do directly with mold but again it did not do us any favors. I hope they get the room looked at and resolved so no other guest experiences this. If you get room 615 please change it ASAP and get a different room. Make sure to inspect the entire room prior to settling in if you book at DT in Disney Springs. Very disappointing to what could have been our new Go to Spot for Disney Trips.

Overall a nice hotel. Every room is a suite. The pool area is surprisingly nice. Breakfast is good, with Mickey waffles included in the continental breakfast. The shuttles to and from the Disney parks are adequate, but crowded in the morning. Note, that each shuttle stops at 2 parks, so you may have an extra stop unless your park is the first stop (Magic Kingdom is always first). Bell services are great. The worst part is the water pressure in the shower, very low. (Sink pressure is fine). Laundry facilities are good and worked well for us. It's a long walk to Disney springs, but we did it several times rather than wait for a shuttle.
