The bath room above us leaked into our room. I asked to have our first night comped after waiting 1.5 hours and several interruptions from maintenance. They gave us 1/2 off. No vents in bathrooms. Less than what you would expect from a disney hotel. No carts available for self loading and unloading luggage but you can self part? Breakfast from the resturant was not good. The whole place is in need of updating.

I stayed here in May and wanted to write a review when I got back home but just remembered because I was thinking about how awesome my stay was.
The rooms were very clean, spacious, staff was great, and the Disney Perks at this resort all made the experience phenomenal!
I will be staying at this resort again! The rooms were nicer and bigger than the Disney resorts I have stayed at in the past and it was just as close to most the parks as the other resorts.
Laetitia was great in helping me out by resolving a few issues due to the Hilton website. There was another gentleman that worked the front desk - Iwant to say James but he was pretty young and had worked there for awhile and had an award by the front desk - Anyway, both of those team members were awesome.
I had two separate rooms for 10 noghts each and the only bad thing that happened during the entire trip was at the fault of another guest and the hotel handled it quickly.
My wife and I are 100% planning on staying at this hotel again!

Transport to Disney venues may take longer than you'd like to wait. Too far from Disney Springs to walk. But, all rooms are beautiful suites. Very modern architecture. Almost worth staying here just for the fabulous warm cookies in the lobby. Very friendly staff, but of course, this is a Hilton prporty.

Our first time visit to Disney World, we decided to use Costco to get a package for our family vacation. Costco was great, they help us out answering all our questions but made a mistake by putting us at Double Tree Suites by Hilton Orlando - Disney Spring. When we arrive to the Hotel the front desk person didn't even greet us, very cold staff at desk and bar area, we were assigned room 706 and was given room 206 just cause he couldn't get a update on the room. The room was very noisy mornings and nights you can hear everything that is happening outside. They have a horrible transportation to any of the Disney parks, this hotel is always the last stop.

The rooms are phenomenal, the facilities are great, the staff throughout the entire hotel are top notch and extremely helpful 24 hours a day, and it is positioned close to both Disney and the rest of Orlando. 10/10 will stay again

Service and staff deserve 5 stars but the aging building and furniture bring the overall rating down to 3 stars. The building doesn't appear to have been renovated in 25+ years resulting in worn and uncomfortable sofa beds and chairs. The normal bed mattresses were OK though. The sofa bed had a very thin mattress and I could feel the support bars below resulting in a horrible week of sleep. A couple of nosels on the splash pad were broken or plugged. The ceiling at our suite door was missing and I could see the dusty topside of the hallways's drop ceiling. There was a Disney store inside the hotel but I don't recall seeing it open the entire time we were there. The in-house restaurant had a good breakfast and tasty late-night food options - the chicken wings were large and had a good amount of sauce. The mixed drinks at the bar definitely were not watered down. The shuttle buses to the main Disney parks were very useful, we stayed in early February and only had one experience with a very crowded bus. The hotel was full and probably always is due to its great location at Disney Springs, making it more difficult to justify shutting down wings or floors to renovate. I stayed there for a week with my family of 4 in a suite. Even though it was a good stay, the hotel didn't live up to the Double Tree reputation my family appreciates and we're going to look at the 2 other Hilton brand hotels at Disney Springs before booking here again. Hopefully they renovate soon.

The location is great if you're planning on visiting any of the Disney parks while stay off property. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and we didn't have any issues during our stay. The pool area is also very nice as well, especially after a long day on your feet.

Comfortable rooms, friendly employees, good service, but ..., the view from the room is depressing. if i had known. I thought Hilton honors members would get a better room. for everything else, very good hotel.

Great hotel, highly recommend. Only reason not 5 stars is because of the bus drivers...they stop up front for literally 30 seconds before leaving...won't even stop long enough for you to walk outside from the lobby. Not a very courteous service, we'll stay at a Disney resort next time for this reason where we're treated like guests. Again, hotel itself is nice.

Arrived late last night. Restaurant was closed. Asked for cream and I was told told that it would be delivered to the rooo. I am still waiting.
This morning I. Visited the restaurant. Agter waiting for some one to take my order. I had to called the server fre times.
I did not eant a breakfast buffet I asked for the menu, but the server kept insisting that I should get the buffet.
I told him that I was not very hungry. After placing the order I had to wait another 30 minutes. When I was gettu ready to leave the breakfast arrive but did not get really what I had asked.
This evening after arriving to the hotel. The room was still not done. After I called the front desk. I ead told that they have been very busy. The operator asked me if I want the room to be clean he would send someone to fo it right away.
I am tire and asked for clean towels
This will be the last time coming to this place. :(

I simply do not like Hilton Hotels and this DoubleTree further confirmed my dislike. The shower in my room just stopped having hot water the last morning. The TV kept blacking out channels; you have to get up and unplug a cord in the back to reset the TV to get the channels back. The breakfast at the hotel is outrageously expensive. $20 for a breakfast buffet they is just decent hotel food, at best. I have never stayed at a Hyatt House that does not include a breakfast buffet with much higher quality food. They also charge about $25 per day per vehicle to park yourself. They hotel looks like they have not updated it since the 90s. Finally, the little things are just annoying. We were staying in a suite able to hold 8 to 10 people. However, they only put enough coffee supplies for 2 people. They were quick to respond when we needed something, but other than that I simply do not understand why people stay at Hilton Hotels. I definitely would stay somewhere else if they were not all booked.

I have an upcoming reservation and bought the tickets through the front desk and it has been an absolute disaster. I have had to call 3 days in a row trying to get ticket numbers etc. to load into the Disney app to start planning our trip with fast passes etc. I called about upgrading my room and could get a hold of NO ONE that was competent enough to give details. Strongly considering canceling my reservation once I finally get my ticket information. Will never make another reservation and cancel my Hilton Honors in favor of another hotel due to this experience.

Rooms are dated and need to be refurbished. We were in a 1 bedroom suite with 2 Q beds and a Q sofa bed. The beds were fine, the sofa bed was horrible, mattress so flat you could feel the metal bars underneath, we went to Walmart and bought an air mattress. Air conditioner is very loud. The door that separates the room is frosted glass so if TV on it will shine through to the bedroom. They charge $22 a night for parking and $23 a day resort fee, because of Covid the store, resturant, the bar and room cleaning has all been suspended, but you will not get a break on the resort fee. They said it was within walking distance to Disney Springs, I didn't see a path, we just drove. They also usually have free transportation to the parks, but this too has been suspended.

I loved the spacious rooms. They also had transportation to the conference I was attending, which was a nice surprise. Parking is a ridiculous price, as it is at most other places around there. Room service was expensive and we were overcharged for our food.

Conveniently located in Disney property. Shuttles are available to the parks. Having to pay for self parking 20.00 per day , is a little hard to pill to swallow as the rates for the room are not cheap .

Doubletree at Disney Springs was fair at best. They claim to be a resort, but it is clearly not a resort in the sense of the word. A/C was extremely loud and annoying. The room service food was cold, tastless, and over priced (mahi sandwhich and wings). No early check in, so don't even attempt. Don't eat the chips, or drink the water, because it will cost you $75. Wifi - terrible reception, and difficult to connect. The rooms do not have a desk, so if you have to do a little work, plan accordingly! The refrigerator was cool (not cold). Transport service to the parks was pretty decent, but they were not that informative. All in All I would rate it a 5 out of 10, and I will likely choose different accommodations next time when we are in the area.

This hotel is part of a Good Neighbor program with Disney World. I usually stay exclusively with Disney resorts while visiting, but the Double Tree is on par with the moderate category Disney resorts. They do charge $20/night for parking, however that is my only gripe. They offered transportation to and from the parks, but I decided to drive myself. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The extent of my experience with this property was the lobby and room.

Nice hotel but not as nice as I expected. The outdoor pool was a plus but during my first there were not any clean towels available. There was one very friendly lady in the gift shop. The rest of the staff were either not friendly or seemed like they were only willing to do the minimum. The hotel staff do not seem to be well managed. The "L" button in the elevator would not light when pressed so I found myself pushing it over and over again to make sure I was headed to the lobby. At least one of the emergency signs near the elevator looked like someone had put a sign over another sign and even that sign was broken, not very professional looking. The bus transportation was somewhat reliable if you don't mind a little wait and multiple stops (4 hotels and two parks). You will spend a good bit of time (plan on 15 min wait and 30 min ride each way) using bus transportation to WDW resorts. We were told to take the A bus but when leaving WDW Epcot all the buses were labeled B. For whatever reason the B bus was also stopping at hotels on the A line so we made it back to the hotel on the B bus. There was also some confusion over which bus space the bus would stop at for the return trip. At WDW Epcot we were waiting at space 30, the space we were dropped off, but the return bus stopped at space 29, one stop over. The transportation to WDW was free but there was a hotel fee for parking. If you would rather drive to WDW parks plan on doubling the money you will be using for parking fees.

What a fantastic and accommodating stay! We evacuated from the east coast. Double Tree normally does not take pets, but waived that for folks evacuating from the hurricane. The pool stayed open as long as they could, valet and room service knocked it out of the park! Thank you so much for taking great care of my family during a stressful time.

This hotel may have been nice 20 years ago but we would have checked out the moment we arrived if it wasn t for a business conference held on-site. If you re reading this, spend your money somewhere else. Although the rooms were spacious, the carpets, fabrics, and surfaces were moldy, dusty, and dirty. The comforters were covered in stains and had sheets on either side. Our room was close to the elevator and noisy. Everything was dated and in need of repair. Breakfast was not included, and the untimely shuttle to the parks took an hour from hotel to Animal Kingdom. An Uber/Lyft back from the parks was $11 and around 10 minutes. For the price spent on this hotel we could have stayed somewhere much nicer. Doubletree and Hilton have good reputations but this did not live up to their brand.

It's in a good location, Disney shuttles are a nice benefit, rooms are nice sized. Housekeeping didn't clean for three days and when they did, all they did was make the two beds with the same sheets. They did not vacuum, wipe anything down or refill products (except toilet paper). They have two elevators and one was broken down our entire stay leading to unnecessary wait times. The shower pressure/temperature was non existent. Beds are on the hard and worn down side. Furnishings are showing their age. Breakfast is on the expensive side, but it's Disney so I sort of expected that. For the price of the rooms I expected coffee in the lobby for guests to be free, however it is not unless you're a Hilton honors Platinum or diamond member. It wasn't a horrible stay but for the price I'm sure you can find better.

We stayed here on a recent (during COVID) trip to Disney. My first piece of advice is to call ahead and check on the shuttle service, because we had planned on using it but it was so limited that it was worthless and we ended paying to park at Disney every day.
Second, the mattress was downright awful. Among the worst hotel/motel mattresses I've ever experienced. The pull out mattress was also terrible but that's somewhat to be expected and my 4yo didn't seem to mind.
Also supposedly to be expected, but the TV system is terrible. Thankfully we weren't there to watch TV but I wasn't even able to watch the World Series on Fox when winding down at night because most of the local channels weren't working.
On the plus side, we felt safe the whole time. There is plenty of hand sanitizer around and overall they appear to be doing a good job of following health guidance. One suggestion I would make to them is to place larger trash cans in more locations because we (and I suspect others) opted to forgo daily room cleanings and found it difficult to dispose of trash we had accumulated.
All in all, it was okay. The location is convenient to Disney but next time we go down, we will probably opt to spend a little more on one of the Disney "value" resorts.

The location is great. The rooms are big enough for our family of 6 which is a plus. The beds are comfortable and the views are beautiful. The kids love that we get cookies upon check in too. Yes you can tell the building is old but the quality of the rooms and the helpful and friendliness of the staff makes it a great place to stay.

The Hotel is overall very clean and runs like a well oiled machine. The rooms are large and well stocked with everything you would need. HOWEVER, I stayed on the 6th floor and I had black mold in my bedroom and my bathroom... i developed a tummy ache on my second night of the stay and only felt sick while i was in my hotel room. My AC unit was also broken and barely kept the room cooled. I would not recommend staying here due to the mold issue.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT!
DO NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT!
Let me start by saying my stay was a horror nightmare because when I booked with expedia and it showed my total was only 369.12$ I was happy but then you get to the resort and here s the other chargers
22.00$ a night for parking (each night)
12.00$ hold to do a 2.00$ laundry of a wash
23.00$ a night for hotel fees and so much more
55.00$ to check in early before 1:00pm
Then on top of it our AC system hadn t been cleaned and done and our room was about 78 and hot during the day. And let s also add another fee accidentals. For all this money I could have stayed at Disney cheaper! Then they don t charge you right away you have to wait a few days...the only bright light this trip was Mohammed at front desk who has been amazing with fixing everything....it s not fair for a manager to deal with that
