Very nice clean suites and convenient to Disney and Disney springs. Purchased a vacation package with park tickets from C####o and it was a great value. Warm cookies are a nice extra. We've had a pleasant experience with the hotel, amenities, and aervice. Only critique is bus service to theme parks are lacking. Buses should be every 30mins, but we were waiting about 45. The DoubleTree is also the last hotel on the route so buses could show up pretty full. It also the last to drop off, so the rides and nights could get rather long.

When I stayed at this hotel my stay was okay nothing special but good. The staff was all fine UNTIL we got back from our day at magic kingdom and getting ready for bed and I realized was missing my baby blanket. At the time I was 8 and I was very upset, so my mom called the front desk and they said that they did not take it and they could not find it. We are from Indiana too so, there was nothing we could do, but I WAS VERY UPSET AND ITS NOT LIKE THIS WAS JUST ANY BLANKET IT HAD MY NAME EMBROIDERED ON IT WITH MY BIRTH DATE AND YEAR. OBVIOUSLY SOME CLEANING LADY TOOK IT WITH THE SHEETS AND THEY PROBABLY DIDN'T EVEN LOOK FOR IT. They ruined my childhood and I will never get that blanket back. I would not stay here if you would like to keep your personal belongings.

I've been a Hilton Honors member for some time now and won't ever stay at this location ever again.
Room for 2 adults & 4 children and bathroom door won't lock or stay closed.Stains on ceiling in bath as well as broken hardware. Bathtub valve had a drip to it so you have to play with to get almost off. Every night we had to ask then wait a while for towels being the room was set up for 4 occupants. There 4 days 3 nights & when I saw housekeeping on Saturday I asked if he missed my room cleaning. He replied no he would get it by 6:00pm so I tipped him in advance. Came back and beds still unmade and trash overflowing. They finally cleaned the last day. Don't complain to ladies at the desk because they act as if you are bothering them. Worst Hilton experience ever!

The toilet in the room was from 1986 (literally) and wouldn't flush 3 squares of TP without clogging. So we had maintenance up daily to 'fix' that. The pool 'bar' is closed by 5 most days, and the one time they were open they said I couldn't bring any of our own alcoholic beverages in the pool area. And last but not least, there are sales people who approach you at every chance to sell you another vacation or timeshare of sorts. The staff has been pleasant and the room was clean, but the things mentioned above were enough for us to seek another place next time we come.

The rooms was very clean and the service was great. The building is a little aged and the hallways looked like they were doing some repairs because ceiling tiles were missing and there was an odd odor. But again the room was great. Onsite restaurant was lacking for food options. It was essentially just burgers and fries only. But I would stay here again.

We didn t go to Disney, but they had the Disney buses pulling to the front door to give rides over which would very convenient if your going to Disney.

Fyi you cannot buy Disney tickets at the Disney store they have on the premises.

Service was aweful! I am a Hilton Honors gold member and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Room was very out dated. They had a note by the TV saying that they sometimes have issues with their TV service and to just wait when issues arrive. When we booked the hotel, there wasn't anything we could find that said there would be an additional charge for Parking. When we checked in, no one said anything about a fee for parking. We found out when we went to park our car that there was a small sign that it would be $40 per day for parking! Outrageous!! Never staying at a doubletree again.... it almost makes me want to change to Marriott.

I had a suite, it was pretty good sized. They rape you on parking prices, which should be free for us diamond members. The front desk girl wasn't very friendly at check in, I felt as if I was checking into a dentist appointment. Very sterile personality. Clean rooms though, nicely decorated.

We had a great stay at the Doubletree, from the cookies they gave at check-in (including a packet of gluten free for one of us...not freshly baked like the regular, but it was something) to the modern-styled, comfortable suite we stayed in. It was great having the Disney Concierge in the lobby for literally any need you might have related to anything Disney in the area. (tickets etc.) It's a few minute drive to Disney Springs (free parking there) or less than a mile walk) plus as one of the Disney Resort Area Hotels it's serviced by a regular, free, shuttle bus that goes do Disney Springs and all of the parks, that runs from early in the morning to 3am.

The pool area was also nice and we took advantage of the well equipped fitness room as well.

In our suite we do wish there was a separate entrance to the bathroom from the living area. We always book suites so we can have a separate, private area to sleep from our kid, and that suite-benefit is tempered a bit when he has to open up our door, walk through the room where we're sleeping to get to the bathroom.

Besides that we'd definitely stay here again as a base to visit any Disney World attraction.

The Hotel itself was great, and if I were there on Business it would have been great. Friendly Staff, great hotel facilities. 2 Complaints though, first the Parking was really expensive - $22 per week for parking in an area like that was a bit excessive. I dont mind paying for parking and understand the need for where it is located, but not $22. The Other major disadvantage was the transportation - The hotel Site says a bus every 30 minutes, but it was more like 60 Minutes or more especially first thing in the morning, and end of day. A big part of the issue was it was a shared bus for several of the area Hotels, and the Doubletree is the last hotel to pickup. On 2 of the 5 days my 4 and 7 year old Kids had to stand because the bus was completely full before it even got to the Double tree + On another day it passed us by - Im assuming because it was full. That morning it took 2.5 Hours to get from the double tree to Hollywood studios, we ended up missing a fastpass, and were late for Breakfast reservations.

This Spring break my family of four stayed at the DoubleTree at Downtown Disney. Our flight was delayed so it's about 11:40 PM when we arrive and discover they have given away the room we had booked and paid for months ago. The staff at the front desk work the phones and computers while we wait in the lobby until about 12:15 when they tell us they found a room that is an upgrade, an executive suite.

The room is alright. The hotel is due for renovation, so it is not as nice as I was expecting. The wallpaper and decor are dated and drab. I had registered for a suite with two double beds and instead we got an "upgrade" to a suite with king bed and a queen sofa bed, not very comfy. Oh, but it does have a giant conference table with eight chairs in case we need to have a meeting with other hotel guest while we're here.

The house keeping staff was the highlight of the stay. They were friendly and courteous. The rest of the staff were adequate. I would not suggest planning to eat in the restaurant. The food is expensive (it was cheaper to eat in the theme parks) and the drinks in the bar were very expensive.

The next day they did find us a regular double room as I had originally booked. So okay, one night with the kids on a sofa bed, no biggie. A small complaint is that the ice machine is on every other floor. Since we were on the third floor, we had to go to the second floor for ice. I know it is a minor nuisance, but when you spend thousands of dollars on a vacation, have been walking around the park all day, and you're tired, little things like that matter.

Still despite the room mix up, and the exorbitant beverage and food cost, they might have eked out a good rating, had they not messed up the bill... twice! When I went to check out, there were duplicate restaurant charges and movie charges on the bill. The front desk staff person worked to fix the bill, but she had to go through every receipt for the days I was there to verify the charges. I mean she literally pulled out a manilla envelope stuffed with all the receipts, for all the guests, and went through them one by one. This is while my car to the airport is waiting on me. Finally, we got the bill settled, and I left. Then a few days later I noticed they had charged my American Express for the original amount of the bill, not the settled bill. So I called them today, and I couldn't get anyone other than voicemail. Therfore, I called Hilton and now I am waiting on a resolution.

Update: The bill was finally resolved adequately, it just took a while.

Very spacious room with kitchenette and living room. Updated decor with sliding barn door to bedroom but bed was hard not comfortable! Down pillows were great wish bed that soft. Bathroom very small and cramped. Breakfast buffet was amazing!

Staff is ok some are nice some are unfriendly. The free WiFi doesnt even work most of the time. I think $20 for parking is a rip off where I'm from no one charges for parking (NJ) Rooms are somewhat clean but very outdated. The TV's are so cheap never even heard of the brand Chimei ?

I am a huge fan of Hilton properties and for the Disney area, this hotel offers great prices. There is a fee for parking but that is to be expected; given the area....at least there is not a resort fee. The hotel staff are very welcoming...they greet you promptly and offer you warm chocolate walnut cookies. The atmosphere is very welcoming and a bit "posh". The decor is bright and welcoming. There is Disney related decor in the front lobby area and this is exciting for children. Check in was a breeze. I was able to check in on the app and request a digital key so I simply used my cell phone to unlock the side doors as well as the room. The rooms were very clean and very nicely decorated. I love the white sheets and comforter and love that the comforter was thick. We had a very comfy king size bed, a flat screen TV, microwave, and refrigerator. This property is right around the corner from Disney Springs and there is a shuttle that provides free rides to and from the location. Check out was as easy as pushing a button on the app and my receipt was emailed to me. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are ok. Gym has a broken ellyptical and a broken stationary bike. Wifi doesn't work on the 7th floor, repeatedly kicked me off. Pool is decent. No coffee unless you pay for it. I spend 2 nights a week in Hilton brand properties and this is one of the weaker ones I've stayed at.

Very nice hotel. Was cheaper than the Disney resorts, and still includes magic hours and bus transportation to the Disney parks. Busses don't run very often though. They say every 30 minutes but it's actually hourly. Clean room. Friendly staff.

Fine hotel but not special. Do not rely on their bus service to WDW, it took over an hour for the bus to show up at Disney Springs to pick us up. If you stay here you will need a rental car, but of course that means paying their daily parking fee. Rooms were ok but nothing special. Wouldn't stay here again if another option was available but if was workable for that trip.

Really spacious rooms, the room we got was the king executive suite, bathrooms were super clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay, felt like home. Hotel was minutes away from everything, themse parks and restaurants. Would definitely return!
