I was there for a quick visit to their restroom and gift shop. Everything was very clean and the gift shop was amply stocked with anything you can need. Drinks, snacks, alcohol, ice cream, toiletries, etc. No need for a Walgreen's, just stop in the lobby first.

Katie and the staff were amazing! We arrived for my son's Birthday and they made it special with a dessert and special card with the staff wishing him a Happy Birthday. Everyone was so friendly and breakfast was yummy. Thank you
From beginning to end, the staff was very friendly and warm. Professional in every manner and helpful with knowledge of the services they provide and local events. We enjoyed our stay with the clean rooms and excellent service at breakfast. Truly recommend this Doubletree Suites for any stay in the area.
Hot water supply wasn't always good and hot tub was out of service during Star Wars race weekend. Restaurant not really prepared for crowds they had during breakfast but really cheap for near Disney
A step above the neighboring hotels and a short walk to Disney Springs. Staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Delicious free cookies. We had an early flight that landed at 8:50am. We were allowed to check in before 10am. We have season passes and will be staying here again.
Great Hotel for a great price. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. No, it was not a new, modern hotel, but it was still nice. My only complaint was the lack of hot water. First night, the water was lukewarm. Next morning it was nice and hot. The next morning it took a while, but it eventually got hot, then the final morning it was lukewarm again. Thank goodness for a hair dryer because I was freezing when I got out of the shower. That is the only reason I didn t rate it 5 stars. Bed was very comfortable.
Huge, well appointed suites, with comfgbeds, 2 TVs, large restrooms, and complementary snacks. Very convenient to Disney Springs, and has complimentary transportation to the Disney parks
It was overall a very nice hotel, friendly staff, and clean rooms. But both my sisters and i had paranormal occurrences. I can't remember exactly what floor we were on but it definitely made the rollercoasters at Disneyworld a lot less scary...
I had a very very pleasant stay here. Sadly the rooms are outdated and need a refresh. But luckily the rooms are very big and there is plenty of space for you to spread out. The location, while in Disney springs is very very far away so keep that in mind.
Also I would not depend on the buses - they were particularly unreliable (but it is not managed by the hotel and instead by some Disney springs contractor that is not helpful). The only time I would suggest taking the buses is when you are leaving the parks. The issues is that although their is a set schedule there are randomly arbitrary rules. Some days the bus doesn t run to the springs until 4. Other days until 6pm. It s not posted anywhere. They say they run every half hour to an hour but you could be waiting 2 hours with no sighting of buses. As I said this is not something that is the fault of the hotel, but if you are booking for the free bus service I would keep this in mind. If you find yourself waiting, ask the next bus driver you see how long the wait might be for your bus. I strongly suggest using using Uber or lyft on the way to the parks or Disney springs and then using the bus to get back to save yourself time and the uncertainty .
One of the best things about this hotel is the breakfast buffet. It was absolutely amazing and what you need to start of the day right at a low price. Best of all, if you are in a rush (perhaps on your way to rope drop) you can fill up a to go container instead of sitting down, and bring it into the park!
They also have a Disney owned store here with a great pin board selection, I sadly neglected to check until the last day!
Lastly, I have to say the staff here are absolutely amazing. They were kind and helpful. They were prompt. We were celebrating our anniversary and they left us a card - it was the sweetest thing! I ll never forget that.
It's a Disney hotel but not convenient to the park. Shuttles run "every 30 minutes" but not to any predictable schedule. Peeling paint, mold in the bathroom. Pool is nice, restaurant average. Above average room size and average bedding for Double Trees. Would only book again if I had a rental car.
Great location, with easy access to the Parks with free shuttle service. Clean and updated rooms with fast WiFi. Breakfast has nice variety and is open till 11, which is is great if you like to sleep in. Staff is super friendly and makes the stay even more pleasant.
This is my second time staying at this hotel. We stayed at a sweet and it was very comfortable. I enjoyed the free snacks and the Keurig that was in my room. My only complaint is that there is no fan in the bathroom. Would stay here again.
Easy to get to and great parking. The rooms are spacious and very neat. Our room has a fridge and is a wonderful place to sleep and rest between the park visits. Helpful & friendly staff make the picture complete. The only thing missing is a full restaurant downstairs, there's only the pool bar & grill and room service.
DoubleTree Suites by Holton is a wonderful hotel. Every thing down to the people are phenomenal and will continue to come back for each visit we make in the years to come.
Hotel is very clean, but what stands out here is the staff. Absolutely excellent polite and helpful staff. Amazing experience here with my company and our stay for the week. Definitely recommend this location.
We have stayed here the last 5 years for our family Christmas trip. We like the all-suite rooms considering there are 6 of us! You cannot beat the price for the size of the suite, two rooms, a bedroom and living room separated by a sliding door. Only down side for us is the one bathroom. This year they added the resort fee, which all of the other hotels in the area had already implemented, so it was just a matter of time.
The only reason we did not give it 5-stars is due to the lack-luster pool area and the bus transportation, which is complementary, but we are spoiled with the Disney buses when we have stayed there (not the entire family).
I would highly recommend this for any family of 4 or more, since the same accommodations in Disney would be 3x the cost, trust me. We like it so much we will be there 12/13/2019!
March 14 - 18 2011 This is the second time I've stayed here and will not be the last. According to the one of the valets, the hotel was at 100% capacity. Despite that, from the time we (party of 3 adults) arrived until the time we left, the hotel staff we encountered were pleasant, cheerful and helpful. Now I'm naming names in case anyone with Hilton/Doubletree reads this: Thank you to valets Rolando (? - sorry, my memory is shot) from the Virgin Islands and Joel from Orlando, you guys were tops. We were in our room and car taken care of in a flash then out of the room, loaded up and on the road just as fast. Sasha at the front desk, ! We never found mom's hat but yours, Ulla (? - again with the memory; evening desk) and the gift shop ladies were a great help none the less. Ted at the bar, Capt. & cola and keep 'em coming, buddy! You all were an oasis of normalcy amidst the crowds, chaos, and seemingly endless lines in WDW. Thanks again from RM 208
From the time we arrived, we had the absolute best customer service. All of the employees had smiles on and a great attitude. They were very helpful with any questions we had. Sheila (waitress in the restaurant) was OUTSTANDING!!! Every morning we went down for breakfast, she had a great attitude, and amazing service. We are planning out next trip in this hotel next year! We are very happy with our experience to say the least.
Needed to find a decent hotel close to downtown Orlando. The Doubletree was an excellent find! The service and room were both superb. Comfy bed and nice breakfast were also included. Overall, a pleasant stay.
Everything was as it should be. Suite was good size. Transportation to the parks takes a while, but is present and is the same buses that Disney uses. Shower was nicely tiled.
Perfect location, 15 min walking distance to Disney Springs. Offers convenient digital key for one person in party. Love being able to text staff. Free shuttle to parks or Disney Springs is nice to have but often takes a long time and better off using Uber/Lyft to another location.
We're here for a 7 night stay. We're now on the morning of day 3 and for the third straight day we've had no hot water in the morning. We have 5 people that need to get ready in the morning and this has caused at least a 60 minute delay each morning. Tried talking to the manager about the issue who assured me yesterday would call me back about the issue. Got no call yesterday and here we are again this morning with no hot water. The hotel itself is okay. Furniture is a little out dated, but the two room suite is big and has a lot of room. That's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. We are also Diamond members for whatever that was supposed to mean, not much here I'm afraid. It would be nice to get someone to actually find a permanent fix to the hot water issue, but at this point I won't hold my breath and will start off our new daily routine of calling the front desk in the morning to reset whatever it is that's causing the problem.
Update. It's now day 5 and we've had the same problem for 5 days in a row now. It's Thursday and the manager was suppose to call us back on Monday. They could all really care less about what's going on. I've been staying at Hilton properties for almost 20 years now exclusively and this is the worst experience I've ever had. No follow up from the manager. No fix of the problem. I called this morning and there was someone new at the desk and he had no idea the problem we had been having. How are they not passing this down to oncoming shifts? Unbelievable!!!
Nice room. Friendly staff. Problems ac was broken. Toilet didn't flush properly. Bathroom sink was cracked. Bathroom ceiling was cracked. Property was nice
Nice and comfortable, good transportation to Disney parks.. Many hidden fees if you order room service, and parking fees.. they can definitely improve in cleanliness of suites( bathrooms) carpets, and fixing the hot water issue since you are not able to take a relaxing hot shower after a long day at the parks. If i wanted cold water i would have gone to the pool area.
Spacious room. Bedroom was separated from living room so that was nice. Living room, small fridge, sink, microwave, hair dryer, ironing board and comfortable bed. The only thing I felt could improve is the lighting inside the room. Pool on site, but did not get to use it. The hotel is located close to restaurants. The staff was friendly. Our TV s were not working and by the time we got back from the parks they were back to normal. Comfortable bed and pillows. Felt save during COVID19, no cleaning of rooms daily due to current epidemic.
Room are big, but it is outdated, needs some TLC, the bed is old and noisy, water doesn't flush on the vanity sink, couch old is and dirty, the front desk wore great good service
It s ok. Looks a little dated and room smelled musty. Very humid and no fan in bathroom to help with it. Blankets are basically just sheets. I wasn t super impressed considering this is a Hilton property.
Big, clean and specious room until you get to the toilet, yes the toilet seats are too small for a big guy like me. Parking feed a big too pricy at $22.00/ night at self parking, they should mask it as a resort feed instead. You are a guess why should you pay for parking. It is not like if you were at a Disney park.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean. The evening service in the cafe was short staff resulting in an hour wait for food and no drinks until after our food arrived. Other than that, nice stay.
Stayed for five days as we did four Disney parks. All in all a great comfy clean suite that won t break the bank. Staff was always helpful and courteous. Decent views from where you are. They have probably the best little market I ve ever seen in a hotel with everything you d need (or may have forgotten) with toiletries, snacks, drinks (yes alcohol too) and other fun stuff, but here s the shocker, they dont price gouge there. Sure it s maybe a bit more than you d pay at a larger regular store but very reasonable in the whole considering you re in a hotel and in Orlando at the epicenter of overcharging for everything. Only downsides are you re last stop on that shuttle route of four hotels so you re sometimes cramped or full by the time they get to you. They also say they re on a schedule but it s quickly apparent that given all the variable of distance to parks, traffic, broken shuttles, capacity, etc that it s really anyone s guess when the next shuttle for your park is coming around. We generally didn t have to wait an excessive amount of time though, but if you re a rope-drop type person I d definitely wouldn t rely on it. But other than that, it was a great stay.
Great hotel with wonderful service. Very helpful in bringing extra blankets for the pull out bed. Very clean environment as well. Would recommend to a friend.
Room was clean and large...especially liked that a door separated the living area from the sleeping area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Note that for gold members, only the *continental* breakfast is free...although it had enough of a selection that we stuck with that rather than pass the $5 upgrade for the full breakfast. Mickey waffles were cool. Would have rated the hotel 5 stars except the bus from Epcot took a long time (30+ minutes) to show up after watching Illuminations.
My time DoubleTree hotel was a pleasant stay. The suite was well taken care of and spacious. I also found the entire building, including the lobby, to be every clean and luxerious. I even enjoyed the location of the hotel. The DoubleTree is close many resurtants and other entertainment services. I enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to leave far to get to different activities.
A little long I the tooth, could do with redecorating. The bus shuttles are the worst part of this package, not as frequent as a Disney resort shuttle and sometimes they just just don't show up
This olace was absolutely one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Ms. Louree in the restaurant is an absolute jewel and was so great with our whole family. We have found our new hotel home when visiting from the space coast!
The hotel says shuttle runs every thirty minutes. Been waiting over an hour and no shuttle. Everyone says it is coming shortly but it never comes. Hilton should address this or stop advertising incorrect. The breakfast buffet has a 25 minute wait at the hotel? Really, a 25 minute wait for the buffet? House keeping clean a two queen room and left only two wash rags. Room was book for 4 people. Gave it a one star as the rooms are in acceptable shape. #hhonors #majordisappointment #Hilton
The rooms were a nice size for my wife and me as well as our 3 kids, however, they need upgrading (furniture, carpets, fridge doesn't get cold, etc). Sound travelled through the walls and the shower made a loud rumbling sound. We probably will look to one of the other many hotels in the area the next time we travel to Orlando.
Great hotel... Super clean, great amenities and close walking distance to Disney springs. Buses run often to Disney parks and staff is super friendly. Will definitely be back in the future.
Very nice hotel. Carlos the front desk attendant was very nice and friendly. Room was spacious and came with a fridge and microwave. Would stay here again.
The room was clean, but when leaving at the end of our stay we found out robbers got into the parking area and smashed car windows and stole from many people during the night. The only reason we know is police came up to us asking if are car was broken into.... we paid for supposedly security parking $22 a night and it was really for nothing.
Where to start poor customer service waited an hour to try to get someone to change out stained sheets on a freshly cleaned room, after being repeatedly placed on extended holds called Hilton honors diamond customer service they couldn't get off hold either, so I just gave up, self parking $20 and tax, not close enough to stuff to be a game changer, breakfast that would be free at even a Hampton Inn is $15 here ($5/up charge for eggs, bacon, sausage links, hard small biscuits for diamond elite) should be free even then Hampton is about as good. I'd suggest looking elsewhere very disappointed.
Lovely hotel with easy access to both Disney (via free bus) and Universal (via flat rate cabs). Missing some of the Disney magic, but a fine hotel nonetheless.
Fantastic service and staff. However, we went for our honeymoon and not much was done for it. When we got our room, we were given two queen beds instead of the 1 king on our reservation. We didnt change it bc we were in rush. Also the TV and the fridge did not work. Tho to their credit they did fix the next day. All in all disappointed with the room but staff was good
The staff was friendly, rooms were large and clean, pool was beautiful, conveniently located to Disney springs with a timely shuttle. It was nice returning to the room every day to a clean tidy room thanks to the wonderful room service offered there. No complaints, it was the best hotel we have stayed in. I would give 6 stars if I could. Great Job!
