If you are looking for a real Hilton hotel, look elsewhere. Having stayed at many Hilton hotels and Double Trees I have to say this is the worst. The hotel is in a dire need of an upgrade and money grabbing management is appaling. The fact that they charge for coffee in the lobby is absurd and if you want a cookie after check in that's going to cost you. The continental breakfast will set you back $15 and the full buffet breakfast is $20. The continental breakfast is what you would usually find for free at other hotels. The suite entrance is decently large but the room is so compact you can't even get out of bed on the side near the wall. The only redeeming factor is that there is a free shuttle to Disney springs and the parks. I would not stay here again.

Room was nice. Room Service / In-Room Dining was Not! The menu is about 8 pages printed from a printer. Not very professional at all for the price they command. The 2 Flatbreads we ordered were smothered in Balsamic Vinaigrette...should be drizzled not swimming. The real problem is that if you read the menu it has NO description about the flatbreads (or any of the dishes). It simply says "Margharita Flatbread" I asked them what that was and they said it was "like pizza". One of the flatbreads was also crushed on one end by the plate enclosure, the other was also burned. Breakfast was just average. The entrees were okay, but there was no Ketchup for the potatos, no salt or pepper brought with the breakfast either. I ordered a "Large" pot of coffee and when it arrived there were 4 coffee cups half full. I asked where the pot was and the server explained that it was the same amount and that the downstairs buffet was using all the pots. They also shorted us an order of panncakes and did not give us enough syrup for the ones we did get. Toast...I have never been served toast from room service without jelly...EVER! I travel a lot and Hilton usually nails it when it comes to room service. That is one of the main reasons I choose Hilton, but in this case the details were just overlooked. I wont be going back to the Doubletree Lake Buena Vista. For that price I expected better across the board.

Hotel was nice, room was nice (though one of the handles on the sink was installed backwards so it turned the wrong way). The only real problem was that when we pulled out the couch bed the sheets had clearly been used and were never turned down. A quick call to the front desk got someone up in minutes who resolved this though. The Disney Store in the lobby had a helpful employee who explained the free bus system to Disney Springs and really helped encourage us to check it out. We were originally not going out the remainer of the night since we had done Magic Kingdom all day but after talking we decided to take the bus and check it out. VERY glad we did!

The room smelled like mildew. Overall the room was not very clean. The staff was nice but did not go out of there way. They made us remove drinks from the pool area that were purchased in there gift shop stating "they're not affiliated with us".

I was a couple of days in which I had a cockroach company last night do not tell me why it was too late and the next day I went out but I thought I'd let you know but in the check out they never asked me how my stay was. 2 stars just for the service.

Its ok

Great find, for an on-property but not Disney hotel at Disney World. All suites at the location, so we could put the kids to bed and still watch TV or relax in the outer living room. The hotel had a shuttle in the morning to take us right to the Magic Kingdom transportation hub, which got us there in time for park opening each morning. Would highly recommend and stay again!

I took my neice and her friends to celebrate her college graduation. I called ahead of time to request something special for her upon arrival and Carlos and Katie were amazing!!! There was champagne, champagne flutes, fruit and cheese when we opened the door!!!
The breakfast was fabulous every morning especially the Mickey Mouse waffles!!
We never had to drive anywhere, the busses are fabulous!
Thank you to everyone from the bell man the first night to the fabulous girl that checked us out and gave us warm cookies for the drive back home !!!

We did an early mobile check in and our room was available before 3. They called us to let us know we could physically check-in earlier if we would like. Our other friends did not do the mobile check-in and their room wasn't ready until 418pm. We opted for the free extened check out at 1pm. The parking was about $21 per vehicle.

Awful! Upon our arrival, Ben greeted us with excellent customer service! However after checking in things went downhill!
Once we got settled into our room (later that evening) the fire alarm went off and there was a very strong electrical smell. We packed up (assuming that there may be a real fire) but quickly noticed it must ve only been our room, as no one else was in the hallway.
I quickly called down to the front desk to inquire and was told someone would come look at it. Absolutely not!!! I was not staying in a room with a very strong electrical odor( we were really uneasy at this point).
They offered to move us to another room which was molded and smelled like smoke (we have allergies). Unacceptable!
We headed downstairs to registration in our pajamas (embarrassing) and not greeted very nicely by Renee. In fact her demeanor was very unwelcoming.
Long story short, I ended up asking for a refund ( which I have yet to receive since we used points) and a receipt (since none was offered) as I wanted to make sure my card was not charged and that we had a zero balance.
We will definitely not be staying here again.

Rooms were large, clean and spacious. Everything was as expected to be. The only issue was the shower knob did not work correctly, but that I am sure is a isolated issue. It is walking distance to Disney springs which was nice.

Check in quick and easy with free cookie. Rooms are nice and clean but a definite stale smoke smell. Hotel doesn't have much to offer. Small outside pool not heated with kiddie pool and tennis court. No basketball court, ping pong or anything else to do that we could tell. Checkout on TV didn't work but lobby checkout at lobby quick and easy. Parking expensive but it is everywhere in this area. (Really bad traffic in this area so leave a little time, not rated based on this issue obviously)

front desk needs to be more knowledgable and friendly, this is the happiest place on earth . When you check in they should give you more information. Bell hops were all amazing and friendly , very helpful.

Love the hotel and the area. The bus service to the parks is a joke though, so don t count on it if you need to be at a park before opening, and when you are coming or going, be prepared to wait a long time, even though they provide a very rough time idea, as each park averages about 3 buses every 2 hours

Disney shuttle is shared with 8 other hotels. Plan for an hour of travel each way.

Hotel breakfast is pretty lackluster for diamond members - who still have to pay an extra $5 for any hot food. A bit ridiculous considering diamond perks elsewhere.

That said, the rooms are spacious and nice. So there s redemption there.

There are better hotels to stay at. Rooms are big and seemed clean. The pool is small and drinks are overpriced. The deal breaker was the breakfast staff being rude and unprofessional. Service was ok otherwise but given the amount of options close by, just stay somewhere else if you can. Also, the hotel shuttle stop is the last to get dropped off/picked up so you may not get a seat to/from the different Disney parks.

I was at the end of July at the Double Tree Hotel in Disney Spring and to my surprise they are selling the cookies that they gave as a gift when you entered the hotel. Many children who usually went to get their cookies didn't got them because it was sold at $1.00. This tradition is part of the protocols that this hotel has and have changed the policy. Not only the cookies, but the coffee is also being charged.

Amazing hotel, just off Disney Springs resort. Our biggest concern was getting to the resorts easily, but there is a bus that runs all day t and from Disney Springs and then from there, a hub to catch any bus to any resort. Perfect for the price, great breakfast, ridiculously nice people.

Not impressed with food and service at the pool for lunch. Took too long . Server/bartender was doing room service while we waited. Executive Chef
Was there....but if we wanted more than a water or soda while waiting we were out of luck. Poor execution. Poor customer service for this type of operation.

Spoke with the Executive Chef and and h e empathized and gave us breakfast upgrades which we greatly appreciated.

My wife and I also had dinner there and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think they would do more business if they had someone to greet all potential guest. Our waiter was host, bartender, and server. A lot moving parts for one individual! I actually greeted a family to let them know that someone would be with them shortly.

First of all they say they are "walking distance to Disney Springs" well "walking distance" is very subjective and in Florida heat it becomes ridiculous having to walk for quite a while on busy roads and through parking lots. There is not a direct route to follow. Secondly their bus service that arrives "every half hour on the hour" is a flat out lie. Not only does it arrive late every single time by up to 15 or more minutes, but also I had the joyous experience of the bus not even stopping. It just drove right through the parking lot not stopping for anyone. Best of all is the fact that after the bus ride you then have to walk for a while to the tram service and then take that into magic kingdom. All in all this has just been quite a frustrating and unpleasant experience. If you're debating it, go to an actual Disney Resort, don't waste your time with this place. Having been to Disney Resorts before the experience is 10x better and they don't lie about the services you will get. Will not be back.

Hotel rooms were comfortable and nice but felt a bit dated. Location was good for the convention center about ten minutes away but don't plan on finding anything interesting within walking distance

Room size is great but feels outdated. Beds are on the hard size.

Staff is very friendly.

The water pressure in the shower will stop my from every staying at this property again. The water was slightly more than a trickle. It was barley strong enough to wash shampoo out of my hair I asked the front desk to look into this but nothing changed.

The employees were really nice when we checked in and Ryan helpped take our bags to our room. The room was really nice but be warned what they call a Queen sized bed is not the actual size of a queen, it's more like a full size. There was also a resort fee we didnt know about until check out. They do have a shuttle that will take you to the parks that run about ever 30mins or so which we didn't know about so that was a pleasant surprise. I love coming to Disney even without staying in an actual Disney property the employees are so sweet and polite and always have a smile on.

The night shift from 3 to 11 had an attitude problem when asked where the bus for the park was she stated it's in the parking lot over there when asked to elaborate she got huffy... theres a way to address a guest if you dont like your job quit but nobody especially on their first time there wants to deal with a nasty attitude... As I've said before my dog has better manners....

This is a beautiful resort inside and out. Beautiful grounds. Pool is huge amd kids loved the splash pad. Very clean also. Resort is very close to everything. Walking distance to Disney Springs and plenty of restaurants in either direction. Didn't realize that we are actually inside of The Walt Disney Resorts area either until we arrived. Very happy and will be back.

Not perfect, but for the price I am extremely happy. I've stayed at a few other non Disney properties and this is my favorite so far. The lack of that odd smelling Florida spoiled egg water is worth the price alone for me. The suites are big and spacious and the beds were nice and comfortable. That's all I need since I spend most of my time at the parks or exploring the city. Staff was great, I'll definitely be coming back. Good experience all around

I went there for a class. They surpassed my expectations as a nursing mom. They provided me with access to a private conference room with comfortable chair and a huge ice bucket to store my milk and bottled water. Definitely the world is changing for us breastfeeding mothers. Thank You Double Tree and kudos to Sasha the event coordinator.

Nice hotel for the price. The shuttle service to then park is supposed to be every 30 minutes, but it's more like when they feel like getting there. Staff is very friendly, free cookies if you ask for them at the front desk. Big bonus is that there is a budget rental car kiosk in the hotel if you need to go anywhere.

The staff here has been extremely helpful and informative. The dining staff in the restaurant was also very helpful and hospitable. Rooms are very large for the area and the price is very reasonable. Free cookies all day from the front desk are delicious. They also offer transportation to the Disney Parks throughout the day. Pool area is very nice with a splash pad for kids, 6ft deep regular pool and a large hot tub. Pool and gym hours from 6am till 11am.

Everyone was thoughtful, helpful, courtious, polite and all had happy faces. Yes, I would recommend DoubleTree to friends and family when planning a trip to Disney parks. The handicapped accessible bus service was wonderful since I rented a motorized cart. I give the DoubleTree Disney Springs a 5 Dtar rating.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It was clean, the room was spacious and the staff was incredible. The pool and splash pad were also nice. Greeting you with warm cookies is the way to go : ) They helped make our son's birthday extra special, surprising us with a cake and snacks when we returned to our room. Thank you Anastasia!! Thank you also to Pablo, who helped with our luggage and greeted us with a smile each time he saw us. The hotel is close to Downtown Disney (you could walk but it was raining, or take the shuttle). The shuttle to the parks was on time and made it extremely convenient to get to the parks.
We will definitely stay here again when we return to Orlando.

Not our 1st time at Disney, but this was the worst hotel experience we've had.
Pros - Breakfast buffet, room size, staff (except cleaning) were helpful in resolving the multiple issues we experienced which is why I did rate 2 stars, instead of 1.
Cons - Wet bar hot water knob broke: no towel bars in bathroom; bathroom hot water knob broke; came back from Disney at 230pm and room was not cleaned the housekeeper was on the floor and bypassed our room, I had to go tell her we needed her; cold water knob in bathroom broke and water could not be turned off. Requested and moved to a different room again a housekeeper bypassed the room, I saw her bypass our room and when I went to let her know we needed her, she LIED in my face to the supervisor saying she cleaned the room, the supervisor could clearly see she had not, later discovered there were ants at the base of the toilet.

At last minute, booked this stay for 4 nights agreeing to 1 night fee if terminated early -- that was a flag that I should've heeded, but with a name like HILTON, I ignored the warning much to my dismay! The room was cheap w/stained upholstery, reeking of aerosol room deodorizer, fluorescent lights flickered, shower/tub drained s l o w and the highly priced b'fast buffet was plain and grossly nondescript. This experience has biased me against any hotel on DisneyWorld Property as the ones off site are much better and they TRY HARDER!!

I am so glad I stayed at this hotel, the staff is so professional. Even before checking-in, I had few questions and texted them through my hhonors app and they answered right away! I was so satisfied with my stay, the rooms were very clean and spacious. Thank you Rolbert, a very nice gentleman that works in the breakfast area, he made my morning. He was so kind and welcoming! He and everyone made my stay an excellent one! Thank you!! :)

Service is horrible. They don't know how to talk to customer. I checked in at 1AM after visiting Magic Kingdom with my family. The person at the front desk at that time literally showed me the stars. I used my corporate benefits to book the hotel. It has Parking, Breakfast etc free. She was assessing a fee for parking and telling me that breakfast is not included. I explained clearly that is a corporate offer. She never did her due diligence to verify what they are offering for corporate customers. She is throwing the issue to some other manager who shows up next day. VERY RUDE in talking and HORRIBLE customer service. Never stay here and waste your money and time. Unfortunately, this a highly preferred hotel in my company travel policy and I'm going to write a letter to my company to remove it from the preferred list. I wish you a good luck for you.

Staff is AMAZING. The hotel, however, absolutely terrible. Theres mold in our bathroom. Not just a little bit, a lot. They moved us to another room and theres even more mold there. The cleaning lady was amazing! But still... this hotel is BAD! Rust, mold and chipped paint everywhere. Would not recommend this place, mold is nothing to play with and can even be deadly.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I travel quite a bit on Hilton properties and was somewhat familiar and had expectations but our room was very large and clean! The breakfast options were excellent and the front desk was pleasant. Even though it was close to the freeway, we didn't have noise issues.

No musty smell (that is somewhat common in humid areas). Shower had hot water all throughout the day, which is a small thing but something I really appreciate because the place didn't run out of hot water after 8am. Very friendly and helpful staff even though I'm sure they get huge number of guests in and out. The lobby store also had full size of children's Tylenol which was great when my kid got sick late at night. I didn't expect the pantry to be so well stocked. Overall had a wonderful time with my family.

Crossed through the facility to help out a stranded friend. Very clean, exactly what you would expect right near Disney properties. Front desk was helpful and the meeting areas were all clean and fully stocked. Seems like a great hotel.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. This is the first time we did not book a room at a Disney Hotel and we are extremely happy. The room is as nice as some of the deluxe hotels (minus Disney Theme) and the cost is about 80% cheaper than booking through Disney.
