Staff are terribly mannered ,one of the 2 rooms we stayed in had air conditioning waste water leaking in from the roof. Breakfast was disappointing and clearly not an English breakfast. Scrambled egg and sausage is not an English breakfast. This hotel is trading behind a well known name in the industry and is clearly not of the same quality.

Lovely hotel, one of the finest I've ever stayed in. Unbeatable for value. The complimentary biscuit was a lovely addition for a weary traveller and a welcome surprise. The staff were nothing but professional and friendly to a fault, the room was spotless, warm, quiet, and modern.

I wish I could rate the room service but as I was only there for one night and had a meet-up with my "SO" I didn't get a chance to order anything. I can only imagine, taking the quality of the rest of the hotel into account, that it would've been amazing.

Everyday since coming I've been hoping for an excuse to stay in DoubleTree in Woking again.

5/5 - Outclasses the competition effortlessly.

Had a wonderful stay at Doubletree. Staff were lovely and polite, and couldn't do enough for you. The fridge and air con in the room didn't work. They weren't an issue for us, and I'm sure if we'd raised it with reception they would have fixed it right away. When we did request things from reception (extra pillows etc) they were arranged incredibly quickly. The breakfast was great. Excellent quality and a great selection. Again, bar staff and restaurant staff were both wonderful. Had a great stay, and it's the attitude of the staff that really made all the difference. Very happy.

I had two rooms during my stay, they were both tiny. I moved 5min after checking as the window didn't seal well and there were loads of outside noise. The chair at the desk is uncharacteristically heavy and takes an effort to move away when you need to move past the desk to the window. The pillows are pathetic. And the elevator buttons looks wrong....

On the positive side, the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and new.

upon arrival we were quite tired however staff were kind and offered all of us doubletree cookies which were delicious! rooms were clean but a bit small and although the bed was comfy the sofa bed was a little less so. was close to my aunt's flat, hospital, grocery, and more, so location was brilliant. breakfast was great and yummy, however less options than other hotels we stayed at! we requested pancakes and they were scrumptious and arrived fairly fast, was very pleased. food was delicious, rooms clean and small but somewhat comfy, and great service. was very pleased.

Had a meeting over coffee with a client here as was a easy place to meet. Slightly slow service but good comfortable setting with good wifi and very close to the station. Did the job very well.

This hotel is incredibly overpriced for what you get.

I stay in Hilton group hotels a lot (I am a Diamond HHonors member) and for the first time I can 100% tell that this DoubleTree is a Franchise as its just doesn't meet the usual standards of a Hilton Group Hotel.

Just a few observations:

-They do not treat HHonors members any differently than first time guests. This is just a minor annoyance but when you basically live in their hotels the least they can do is assign a room on the HHonors floor rather than giving you a lower floor room closer to passing traffic.

Basically this hotel is roughly equivalent to a nice Premier Inn however their nightly rate is 2 or 3 times the price of a Premier Inn.

Got in and room upgrade due to diamond status, good was very good for dinner and room as expected and happy. However it's the second time they haven't had enough people in checkout in the morning and waiting to checkout is frustrating.

The Double Tree Hotel in Woking is lovely. The entrance is tucked around the side and you go into a grand reception area. I was there doing market research and i was taken to a conference room with lovely comfortable leather upholstered chairs. Tea and coffee were free in these rooms as well as complimentary biscuits. The hotel has plenty of parking in a multi story next to the hotel. Its a stones throw away from Woking's town centre with its marvellous shopping.

Pros:
- Nice decoration
- Clean
- Comfortable Bed
- Quick check-in/out

Cons;
- Tea & Milk not replenished during stay - one tea bag is a bit tight
- Bathroom extractor sounds like a hairdryer - randomly comes on in night
- Dividing door means you are at the mercy of the neighbours - tv noise etc
- Windows filthy
- Fridge broken
- Expensive parking

Best Hilton hotel that we have stayed in so far, everything was just perfect, greeted by cookies on arrival and fresh lemonade, beautiful car in the lobby, rooms 715 was just what we hoped for, free coffee machine and high end room decor, mini bar, free wifi and 24h gym. Staff were very friendly, smiley and efficient. We Enjoyed breakfast selection and variety every day. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel. We stayed here for 1 night as a party of 3 adults with 3 children aged 8, 5 and 2. The hotel was very accommodating giving us 2 family rooms next to each other. My biggest problem was that the rooms were fairly small. My daughters room needed a cot and with this in place, you could hardly move as space was taken up by useless things such as additional 'comfy' chair, freestanding lamp and occasional round table. This was additional to the usual desk and desk chair. We moved one of the chairs out to make a little more room but still very cramped for children.
Another thing to be aware of if you have young children is that the restaurant doesn't open 'till 6pm. There is however a Weatherspoons 5 minutes walk away.
We ordered breakfast with room service and our order was incorrectly delivered and fairly cold as covered with clingfilm.
Parking is available either on site or a secure multi storey car park opposite hotel.
All in all, a pleasant experience but hotel in my opinion is more aimed at business use.

I've run a couple of Xmas parties at the Doubletree. The staff have always been very helpful getting the full event organised. The food for the event has become a lot better, the portions are good and is tasty.

Honestly, this place is trash. The customer service is sooooooo poor. Once, I needed assistance and there was literally no one at the front desk (for an extended period). The rooms are mediocre at best, food is bad and overpriced. There was little to no heat in the middle of winter. Just awful.

Stayed at the Double tree for just one night as part of a lego land deal.
On arrival I found that although we had paid for parking there wasn't anything available as my van was over the 1.8 maximum height of their car park, which is not mentioned anywhere on the booking details or the website.
My wife was instructed that we would have to Park elsewhere which she obviously argued until a second member of staff told us to park in a disabled bay and promised us that we would not receive a ticket for doing so.
This was obviously not the best start.....
As for the room itself, it was OK but nothing special, there was damage to a lamp that they had strategically positioned in the hope you wouldn't notice and the shower taps were confusing due to buttons either missing or on the wrong knob.
Our booking stated that there would be orange juice in our room for our son which was apparently a lie, the kettle and tea making facilities were essentially hidden in a cupboard and nothing special.
The double bed in our room was essentially a piece of granite and I woke up continuously due to it.
The breakfast that was included as part of our booking was OK but nothing special I would say that they didn't have enough staff on for the breakfast period.
All in all I would say that it was sub standard hotel, we have stayed at other hotels in the area and we will be revisiting those hotels but not the double tree.

The heat in our bedroom was almost unbearable, the aircon was ineffective so we had to ask for a fan. Sleep was not brilliant. On the plus side breakfast was good and staff very efficient, especially for our evening meal where they set us up for watching the women's World Cup match whilst dining! I hope the new Hilton has better aircon then we may try you again.

Room lovely, the beds were comfy and it was very clean. Evening meal was ok but expensive and it took 3 attempts to get a drinks order right. Breakfast was horrendous, sunburnt bread (toast), two luke warm sausages and the worst scrambled eggs ever. Weren't offered cereal and limited drinks. I'd suggest breakfast somewhere else and there's loads of places to eat out (not in the hotel) for dinner. Oh, and the bar ran out of beer, not for breakfast, but at dinner the night before

The look of the hotel is very nice modern style, our room was not that clean. As there where hair in the bath tub, Big stains on the curtains bOth room and bathroom. Dinner was a reduced menu which I understand. Choice of just 4 dishes. Breakfast... we arrived 9:45 and the breakfast finishes at 11 they ran out of breakfast which sounds very odd to me. And the restaurant was a mess. I am not quite sure if they didn t have enough staff but it was a bad experience.

Great hotel with friendly staff and best of all you have not far to the train station to go to central London. There are also many nice bars and restaurants near the hotel and large shopping centers

The hotel staff were rude and no one could speak clear English. I then find a few days later they have double charged us for the room and the manager says she cant refund me?! They charged my card telling me it was for authorisation and we didnt need to pay until the next day so we paid cash... only to find a few days later theyve taken money out of my account and happily taken cash money off us.

Stayed only a night here but had dinner room service, food was really delicious and we may have ordered a tad much too! Very clean hotel and no issues checking in or out. The warm cookie was much appreciated!

On arrival, we were offered freshly baked cookies, which I thought were a nice touch but unfortunately were never received... Pillows are too soft, might as well lay head on mattress. No dairy free option, and definitely no vegan option. Luke warm Breakfast served on cold plates. When I asked for soya milk, I was given a small jug of soya milk that had gone off, which curdled in my coffee.

Worst ever hotel stay in my life. It was a nightmare. The air con in the room was fault and was blowing hot air. I complained to the staff after 45 minutes. They said they ll come to my room to help. After 3 hours a freestanding air con machine was brought in. This only just made matters worse. It was blowing cold air but the room was still stuffy due to zero ventilation what so ever. The manager then said there s nothing she can do and I can leave if I can t manage. This is disgusting. I asked if she could transfer me to another doubletree nearby and she straight up refused. She said they weren t prepared for the air con fault. Ridiculous. There was also cobwebs in my room to make matters worse. The bath is dirty. The towels are hard and not clean. You can clearly tell the towels have been used for so long.

This is by far the best hotel in the area. The staff here are super attentive and extremely helpful. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is too much trouble for the staff here. Hotel room was spotless and nicely laid out. Very impressed with the disabled facilities in the room and in the hotel in general. When I checked in I was presented with a warm cookie, a lovely smile and my room card. The bed was comfortable with a medium to firm mattress for a good night's sleep. Was here for a Christmas party in the function room downstairs. The food at the party was superb and the music was brilliant. The waiting staff were on top of their game. A great night was had by all. Had breakfast at the buffet in the morning, which is by far the best I've had at any hotel. All in all, my stay here has been utterly faultless and very enjoyable. The management and staff here are doing a superb job. I think from now on I'll book into a Hilton double tree instead of a Marriott. My last two stays at Marriott's have been disappointingly under par. This place deserves every star rating I have given (5/5).

I was meeting a client who was staying there. We had breakfast at the restaurant by the lobby. It was very busy for breakfast time. they could use few more staff. food was good and despite the rush the we had good service. Specially Mr Rahmon (i think he was the manager) was very accommodating, he brought in our food himself and tried to make us feel welcome.

The location of the Woking Hilton Double Tree is very convenient for getting to the mall, local town attractions and train station. The room is nice and the check process was easy and staff are friendly.

Avoid! I m sure there a better option nearby. Doesn t live up to the Hilton brand of old. British Hilton hotels from my experience are more miss than hit. This one misses the mark completely. Extra stars gained because of amenities that not all guests use I may be wrong, this may be a 4* hotel but in my humble it s more reflective of 2* hotel at most 3* hotel because of its lousy customer service and poor management. Guest experience is not a thing here. Hilton was a real brand in the 90 s and early millennium, it is no more. Check out the competition.
