All the staff we encountered were extremely pleasant and helpful the evening meal was excellent and so was the breakfast. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean 10/10 thank you for making our stay so pleasurable.

My experience was tainted. I was not offered a welcome cookie on arrival as all the other guests were. I think the lady forgot. But the worst part of the stay was the first night I had no cold water running for a bath, so when I had filled the bath I had to completely empty it and have a very hot shower. The following morning was the opposite, I had a cold shower. The following morning again I had a freezing cold shower and after phoning down to reception it did not get resolved or did they phone me back.

I raised an official complaint via email the following day and I still have not received a response.

I will not be staying again

Nice hotel in the middle of woking. Not much to do arround but I traveled for business so the hotel was just what I would expect, ... and it had the old Lewis Hamilton f1 car in the lobby

Ultimo August 2012:
Rather neutral atmosphere - staff in reception a bit cold. More welcoming attitude would be desirable. Rooms and food okay. Best of all: Near city center.

Modern and clean. Front desk was A-OK. But the room was uncomfortably warm; the HVAC system didn't sufficiently cool the room. The mattress was very firm, which made a good night's sleep impossible (although I realize mattress firmness is a matter of preference). Parking next door is convenient although expensive. We didn't dine at the hotel but had drinks. Not sure what went into my vodka martini but it was undrinkable. Suggest walking a block or two to one of the options downtown.

Uppn arrival we were greated well at the reception even given warm cookies. The room was of a decent size and had a modern feel to it, once more there were complimentary items waiting for us in the form of pringles and truffles. The main bed was very comfy, however the sofa bed for our children didnt look the comfiest and they kept rolling towards the middle because of a dip in it but they slept all the way throught the night so cant have been that bad

I used to work here before the takeover. The hotel is lovely to stay in with plenty of rooms available. Car park itself it very expensive, so always best to use multi-storey car park right next door which is attached to the hotel.

I have been here 3 times and I have always had a good experience however If you plan to visit in the next few months beware there is a big building construction next door. Unfortunately we were not warned about this and our room along with many others are directly next to it, if you are on business not to much of an issue if you get up early but if you are planning to relax like we intended I would suggest another hotel for now. We had to keep the window closed in very hot weather and the air con did not work sufficiently. Staff very pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean, staff were very welcoming, breakfast was lovely and the car park was secure. Walking distance from the city centre. And about 10 minute drive away from a lovely mosque.

Ok

Nice rooms & hotel but no ice box as advertised , no cookie and the breakfast was poor. Only 3 items (sausage, scrambled egg and beans) for the entire breakfast menu. Only a dozen spaces outside to you ll probably have to go in the multi storey next door

A great hotel with easy access to London and great facilities. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast in the morning. We try to stay with Hilton wherever possible as you know what you're getting and the room walls aren't paper thin;)

I have stayed here almost weekly for over a year and whilst the rooms are generally decent and the reception staff are delightful, the poor standard of catering never ceases to amaze me. The breakfast bar is dated and the offerings usually dried up and unappetizing and having requested a soft boiled egg today I got a hard boiled egg in a bowl. The maitre d had to search for something that could stand in for an egg cup and said the hotel didn't have any real egg cups. Seriously Doubletree if you want to retain your reputation as the top hotel in Woking you really need to up your game in the kitchen.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty! The staff, particularly Shannon and Luke were incredible, they helped us with printing some important documents and made our stay totally lovely! I've been trying to find a contact number or email for the manager to give a beaming review of these two members of staff as they were so professional, kind and helpful, they deserve celebrating! Our stay would have been mediocre if it wasn't for their service with a smile. The room was very comfortable, nicely decorated and a perfect temperature.

Good

I stayed here on the 19th and 20th August, a Sunday night, as I had an important meeting on the Monday I spent 9 hours on trains getting to the hotel on the Sunday. I was very much looking forward to a hot shower the next morning but alas there was no hot water on the Monday morning in any of the rooms. Reception just about acknowledged it was an issue and as the credit card system for payment was not working they emailed my bill to me later that day. I was expecting a small note apologising for the inconvenience of their being no hot water, but nothing. I emailed the General manager on two different occasions to get a response on the issue but was completely ignored. Extremely poor customer service overall and not a pleasant stay at all and not the sort of treatment I expect as a "valued" Hilton Honors Diamond member. The hotel staff, at breakfast, at the bar and the front desk are generally excellent, breakfast was hardly relaxing as kids were roaming around everywhere as school holidays but the generally excellent staff seem to be let down by a poor and disinterested General Manager. I have stayed in the Premier inn in the centre of Woking instead of choosing the Doubletree. They were very good experiences, as good as the Doubletree.

Booked a family room. Disappointed to find brown limescale stains at bottom of the bath. There were no spare pillows in room so I had to make do with one thin pillow. I ended supplementing this with a towel underneath to try and sleep better. The room was very hot and the air conditioning made no difference. Breakfast was disappointing but this was probably down to covid restrictions.

The only reason I probably will visit here again is for the gym (in case i can't find an alternate).
There were no slippers. The elevators had a mind of their own in order to open or not open when the button is pressed. I just had higher and better expectations with the Hilton brand than what I received and seen....

Frost Desk: Customer service at this hotel is very poor compared to the other Hilton hotels/brands have stayed worldwide. Everything didn't go smooth right from the day I checked-in. I needed a room with more space as a Diamond member, but it was like pulling teeth out of a lion's mouth. Shannon at the Front Desk was helpful, but Naderly and Guest Services Manager were unfriendly and unprofessional. They treat people of color differently than white guests. It is a shame that in the 21st century, diversity is still not appreciated in places like Woking.

Housekeeping: Anka-Claudia is the best. Very friendly, courteous and helpful. She is my hero during my entire stay. She is hardworking and deserves recognition and additional/bonus pay.

Restaurant: Rochelle at the bar was great and customer friendly. Also, Adele, Alex and Kerry were very helpful during breakfast. Asian like lady at the restaurant, Supervisor at dinner time, I believe, was very condescending during my brief interaction with her and did not treat me well as a person of color- very unfortunate indeed.

I hope customer service here will improve and Management will treat all guests equally and with respect regardless of their color, origin and status. Thank you.

Room was lovely clean and tidy the only thing that ruined it was the breakfast the next morning .First the greater didnt tel us where to go she took our room numbers and how many in our party then went on to the people behind us and didn't tel us where to go until I had to ask .Then she said it was buffet so we went to table and helped ourselves like the lady said we could, and we got told of for doing so .There was only 1 choice of cereal which was co co pops ,the toast they tried to give us was just warm bread had to speak up. There version of full English breakfast was 4 sausages cold scrambled eggs and beans, where was the bacon the mushrooms??The man that came and collected our plates and cups etc was the best part of breakfast he asked if we would like more tea or coffee and was very polite none of the other staff did that.

Decent hotel. Comfortable bed. Nice touches in room.
Was put off by the traffic noise as I was unable to shut my bedroom window PLUS I found a large cockroach in my bathroom. I took it down to reception and although apologetic they made no attempt to make amends and failed to apologise again on check out.

Nice clean hotel but I felt like who checked me in could have provided me with more information. My mum and her partner got cookies when they checked in (and it seems most people did) but I got nothing! I then nearly got overcharged for More

Location great - two minute walk into town. Onsite parking excellent. Really trendy hotel. F1 car in the lobby - guess it's a Maclaren given the proximity of the Maclaren factory. Breakfasts were amazing and the staff were really accommodating to the children. Would have been 5 stars but our bedroom window hadn't seen any soap suds on the outside for quite some time. The window was filthy. Howver, we were facing inwards looking at an apartment block so not exactly a room with a view. That said, for a hotel with a pedigree you would have thought the external windows get washed at least monthly.

Worse Hilton in the world Pay upfront for parking then theres no parking so have to use main public parking No air con in rooms or lift it was like sleeping in an oven Long lines to check in only one person to check you in Food was rubbish too

The hotel was lovely decorated and the rooms were lovely but we found service very poor on arrival we was greeted by a lady who spoke quite abruptly and quite rude with no service with a smile we felt we was an inconvenience being there . Followed by this we went down to the restaurant as we had been at LEGOLAND till very late we wanted something quick and easy for the kids as they was tired we sat down and a lady came to take our order who couldn t really speak much English and was very hard to understand we looked at the menu and was very shocked with the prices 22.00 for a steak each we expected a very nice meal that was worth that much but when it arrived it was one of the thinnest and smallest pieces I have ever seen with only 5-6 chunky chips a small mushroom and a small tomato it was that poor and small my partner was sat there looking for the nearest shop or McDonald s as he was still very hungry after it and the puddings were a ridiculous price . The kids had ordered there puddings and after 15 mins we still hadn t received them my partner went up to the waitress and asked were they were and she said sorry we are very busy tonight which was false the restaurant had only 4 other tables this I would consider very quiet compared to many restaurants we asked for a copy of the reciept where the lady then started to panic about why we wanted and decided to try then give us a 5 * service but this was by then too late . We finally got up and left took my partner round to McDonald s to buy yet another meal. We went back to the room and got into bed and I must say I ve stayed in many hotels where the mattresses weren t always as comfortable as I would want but I know a hotel will never be like your homes bed but when I lay on the bed it was so solid there was no bounce in the bed it felt like I was lying on wood I would say the floor was probably more comfortable I woke up several times where my arms and legs were aching and painful off lying on my side on such a hard mattress. The following morning we went down to breakfast which the amount of things avaliable was amazing until we started eating it the bacon wasn t cooked properly the scrambled egg was like watery egg there was no black puddings for about quatre of an hour. In all the best bits of the breakfast was the sausage, mushrooms and cereals. At checkout there was a young man at the desk who yet again barely spoke a word of English and everytime I said something his response was huh? We checked out and he didn t even ask how our stay was he just said that s you all checked out goodbye. I will never stay at this hotel again and would never recommend it

Without doubt one of the very worst meals I've ever had. A 'grill' that can't either cook a steak as ordered nor get it to your table warm... stale bread with tinned pate for starter and wine that took 25mins to reach our table. Left and went to the brasserie down the road...Ramsey it is a nightmare save them please!

Hotel amazing (it's got a McLaren mp4 in the lobby!!!). Staff amazing. Breakfast was amazing. Evening dinner was poor though. Fish fingers and chicken nuggets aren't what I expected for a Hilton. Dinner staff were amazing though, and the greeting guy was awesome (possibly manager?)

I have stayed in this hotel in June, the rooms and facilities are all spacious, modern and clean. We didn't check the area or around the hotel as the hotel had everything that we wanted, the quality of the service is of a very high standards, the team is also very efficient and nothing is too much trouble for them, will definitely stay again when in Woking.

Attended a conference here. Conference room was fine. Really enjoyed the breakfast pastries and large selection of teas. Buffet lunch was bland and uninspiring. Make sandwiches a bit more exciting!
