This is a decent property for a Doubletree. The rooms are modern and recently updated. The restaurant is decent enough and the location is convenient to the state capital. The fitness facility is a little small.

Just visited a friend in the lobby. Strange decor, pleasant people.

I stayed here for an association conference, and my room was very comfortable! Love the pillows and bedding! I would stay here again and recommend this hotel - the staff are very friendly and efficient.

Bell service was great, the rooms were very clean, and the staff super nice. I only wish the room had one more lamp for more lighting.

The staff was amazing. Very courteous and professional. Room service was both arranged fast and delicious. The hotel is in many different locations of interest, like the Capitol building, the Southern (local dining area), and various parks to explore. Loved my entire stay.

Incredible accommodations with an extremely friendly and helpful staff in all areas of the hotel (front desk, guest services, shuttle service, restaraunt / bar). Has all of the added services and amentities that one needs while staying downtown Tallahassee.

The location offers many dining selections within walking distance as well as a short 5-10 minute drive. The rooms are very spacious and great staff.

Enjoyed my stay. Staff very helpful. Cookies are good.

I felt like I should be dressing fancier to make a reservation here

We were in town at the time of the governor's inauguration. Despite a packed house, the service we received was exceptional at the front desk, valets, maintenance and the restaurant. We had breakfast there every day and were greeted by the charming Chris Begeal, the morning manager. She gave us tips on getting our newly minted FSU student oriented to Tallahassee. She had visited our country, Panama and was able to point out some differences she noticed. We did have a small issue with housekeeping - no towels, missed cleaning. Plus, the bathrooms lack any counter space or rack for towels. The rooms had been recently remodeled and this may be in the works to be corrected.

The employees were so friendly very nice people. It made my stay there even better!!! Keep up the good work!

Old style looking. No continental breakfast but there's a Starbucks in the lobby.

Had to come for a meeting. Waited 10 minutes for the valet. Went to the front desk to see what was going on, got no help. When valet finally came, was very rude, as if it was an inconvenience to do his job.

Worst experience ever! Drilling, hammering and sawing on Saturday morning 8 am. Refused to move us to another room because we didn t booked directly through Hilton, but through Expedia. Manager was not available to speak. No resolution options offered whatsoever. Will never stay here again!

The rooms are nice. Door or wall to the hallway is a bit thin so you can hear people in the hallway. Overall the staff are great. The decor is a bit strange.

Service was ok, but I was never told I had to pay my parking and I just saw an extra charge on my credit card so, yeah be aware of that. If I would ve been told at the beginning, I would give a better review.

The rooms are beautiful. The pool is on the 4th floor and it is well maintained.

Had a bad experiance at this hotel. First off, stayed there so my kids can use the pool, but it was under construction. Then I find out that I have to pay for wifi. My night light in the room was flickering so I called maintanence to shut it off, and the toilet in the room had no vent in it!!!
The hotel room was just big enough for the two queen size beds in it. But when I stood in the Homewood suits the room was 20 bucks less and it had a kitchen, living room, and a private bedroom!!!

Very good! The parking garage is a bit steep and tight, but the staff are great and the room and amenities are nice. :)

Spent the weekend there with my family - for my daughters graduation. Everyone was super nice... the rooms were AWESOME !!!
Loved the beds... felt like I was sleeping on a cloud.
The shower in our bathroom was great - lots of pressure and plenty of hot water. (for 3 people) that's always a plus in my book.
I would highly recommend this place to any & everyone.

Hotel was nice and had unique decor. The staff was very friendly. I appreciated the free bottles of water provided to the hotel guests and of course the warm cookies. The WiFi was free and worked well. The only negative was the slightly outdated rooms but they were in good shape and the cleaning staff did a great job of keeping them and the hotel clean. I stayed on the 12th floor and had a nice view.

I booked this stay through Expedia for a birthday weekend. Booked for Special Needs and even called the hotel far in advance to follow up with how the room would be set up and was told by the front desk that the room I booked contained 2 beds and a pull out bed. There was no option to pay extra to have early check in. We arrived and there was a lobby full of people waiting to be checked in that were told their rooms were not ready that arrived after us. All of these people were checked in before us and we waited for 4 hours to be checked in. When I discovered that the room was not what was described over the phone by their hotel staff the week prior to arrival I called to ask if I could purchase a extra bed or extra sheets something to make the stay better and was told there was nothing that could be done. Terrible birthday weekend. It s by the gate there s a free park shuttle every other hour and even with that fact I would not ever stay here or recommend for anyone else to. There are four hotels nearby also within walking distance to the Entrance gate which if taken leads to a 15 min walk into the park. There s even food nearby in walking distance and a Walgreens. There s other lodging options under a mile perhaps they offer better service. It s evident this hotel was simply focused on their conference crowd only and family goers weren t really relevant. This is why so many were left to wait sleeping after long flights in their lobby where there s two women trying to upscale you park experiences that you don t necessarily want. Also the pool is outdoors so if it s not hot it s not really worth the use. I ll never stay here again!

There are many staff associates that need to be highlighted for superior services and concerns like Hayley front desk associate who is amazing and Amy & Heather her supporting staff. I want to add Chris, who was waiting on the manager for answers for our untimely situation. I just wanted to thank Lacy the hostess for being kind.
Our stay here was fantastic we will be back. When my daughter moves to the next apartment at FAMU we will stay at
DoubleTree at Hilton in Tallahassee FL.

Awesome staff. The room was really comfortable with great amenities. The only downside to the entire property that I could see was that there was no refrigerator in the room, so long-term guests may be frustrated by that.

I would give the hotel 5 stars, it is a very nice looking room. It has a very nice view from the work area, but they block access to HDMI ports on the TV. That is just unacceptable at this point

We recently attended an FSU Football Player reunion banquet. The recent renovations were very whimsical and reminiscent of an Alice in Wonderland feel. I thought the banquet area would be great for a wedding reception. The food was amazing!

Gorgeous hotel, beautifully decorated and very comfortable beds.

It's my second time staying here. Have been treated very well, rooms are clean and well furnished.

I was only there because I was meeting someone, so my review doesn't have much weight to it.

Had a lunch meeting. Service wasn't the greatest. Food was decent.

For my last stay for my business conference I called for a courtesy van at 9:45 but one didn't come after 40 mins of waiting I called again and they told me they stop running the service at 10, but I called before then. So I was stranded at the airport with my heavy luggage bags with my business displays and metal frames. Very inconvenient.

Very nice clean hotel.. The staff couldn't be be nicer or more professional. Top notch service. I was there for Springtime Tallahassee and the bar was very crowded yet the bartenders were fast and efficient. Valet staff are pleasant and quickly assist guest through loading and unloading

Pool very, very small. They building to make it larger. Hope pool is part if this.

Pay for parking, pay for wireless in room, no microwave, no fridge, and inconvenient closet. I stayed in the marriot last year and the doubletree isn't in the same class imo.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Toilet was broken and wouldn't stop flushing until you shook it. Was rarely ever hot water for anyone.

We stayed there last weekend, Friday and Saturday. I was very disappointed. It was extremely loud all night long. I felt like we were booked in a room between a bunch of teenagers opening and closing the doors all night. We got room service which was quick and good as well as reasonably priced. We parked on the street and had no problems. I would never stay there again.

Room is nice. Usually when I check in they give me details around the amenities but I didn't get that. So not sure where pool is or fitness center is. Also didn't know they had a restaurant. Hopefully next time it will be better. Staying for 5 weeks for work.

Absolutely the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. You can hear the elevator when in your room. I could hear the cleaning staff and I swore they were in my room. The beds are like bricks. I just did not enjoy my stay.
