Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Best shower I've had in a hotel.

Not too happy with this place for one reason. I was on the twelfth floor near the four elevators. So what, should not be a problem, except for the loud bumping in the shaft every time ithey moved. Twelve floors keeps the elevator kinda busy, all hours of the night. Stay away from the elevator. It was too late by the time I realized the noise level. Otherwise the place seems OK. There is a small Starbucks in the lobby, but they do mot accept sStarbucks gift cards. HA.

Picture this it's new years eve and you can't take a hot shower because there is no hot water, so you call the front desk and explain the situation and that after five minutes the water is still cold, the customer service representative says to let it run 10 minutes, now imagine that you let it run for 18 minutes and still no hot water, now imagine that no one wants to give you the gm's contact information... Update: the night manager called our room later and explained the situation to my wife and very shortly we had hot water. Apparently there is a problem with getting hot water from the heaters to the upstairs rooms. Not only she did make me feel better about the situation but she made sure that I got a warm shower. Update: We were promised our points back on the stay, six days still nothing, pathetic

First time stay, I must say my stay was extremely nice. Kind welcoming staff, beautiful hotel everything on point. Whenever I visit the capital again, Double tree will definitely be my choice.

The staff really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. There is a restaurant, bar, and pool site.

The staff at check in was awesome. Jacob was awesome at breakfast for the 2 nights I was there. The 1st room i went into the bed had some type of bug on it was not to happy about that an they did move my room yet the front office manger was not to open with what he was going to do about it. The room they moved me to the toileted was wobbly and also the rug was not so clean and the bed sheets need to be replaced.

Wish there was a fridge and microwave in the rooms, but, overall, this place is really nice. I appreciate that there is a Starbucks inside, but wish it was open longer :).

Location was perfect, decor was Instagram heaven, the bed was super comfy, and the staff were all very friendly! Loved the complimentary water downstairs as well

Cleanliness and friendliness were fine, standard hotel stuff. I was very disappointed in the shower, as the hottest it got was tepid at best. My main issue was the noise. I keep odd hours because of my job, and while I was trying to fall asleep construction began. I get business want to improve, but maybe when your business is sleep, don't start the hammering at 7am. Apparently they are adding another floor so if you're anywhere near the top expect a very rude awakening.

You can talk to your neighbor at regular voice through the walls people talking the hall sounds like they are in the room. Currently hotel is under construction so we woke up to grinding and hammering. Stay away from here it is bad.

My first stay at the most beautiful Doubletree in Tallahassee. I got lucky to attend a "test" social for foods that they might serve at their new restaurant on the top floor. Oh my Lord!!! This place will be your new favorite!! Great hospitality from the staff! Don't forget your cookie!
