How long does it takes for the service manager to reply to an email? I have been dealing with the service manager Cato since July about a rust spot on my vehicle. I asked him about the Platinum Shield protection plan that was purchased and I have been waiting since November for a reply. Personally that's unacceptable.
Clearly the dealership and the service team don't appreciate my business and I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere to be serviced.

My first time at DVN Hyundai and happy to say I ve already recommended this dealership to several friends and family. Jonathan is an amazing sales representative that took his time to make sure I had absolutely everything that I need and was very patient with me and my mother. I am a student that like many other students, was on the search for an affordable and efficient car (not to mention, my very first car) and this seemed almost impossible until I arrived at DVN Hyundai. I have had nothing but issues with this dealership. For example, on my last visit I had Service 4 in which the brakes were fully serviced. to my dismay, I found out just over a month later that the brakes were completely dry with the potential to seize! Not only that , it was recommended that I pay several hundred on recommended services that I found out that I did not need! I have moved and I am at another dealership that has wonderful service, honesty and great followup. I will never go back to this dealership and do not recommend it to anyone..

Had a good experience purchasing a Hyundai Elantra here however the car we got seemed to be a lemon - there was significant grinding noise coming from the wheel within one hour of driving it off the lot. Luckily, the service manager was courteous and helpful. On the other hand, the store manager was not helpful and said that he was doing me a favour to let me use an older Hyundai for a day as they checked out the car.

I got services because of my engine oil leaking few months before. But leaking oil was continued. So I visited again and you said that you fixed everything. But I found you didn't do anything on that agin. This problem was not only once but also I visited same problem many times. So, I was disappointed with your services and I believe my car had damage on engine part because of you guys. If you didn't response within 3 days, I will report Hyundai Canada head office. ( Why should I give you one star I'd like to give you zero star.)
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience buying my Genesis G70. Trisha was extremely friendly, always answered my questions no matter what time of day or evening it was. Mostly good experience with this location. Shuttle service generally within a reasonable time frame aside from for our appointment today where we were supposedly mistaken for another customer and was left waiting around for a shuttle pick up for more than 2 hours. When we called for update we were told driver is around the corner . Other than that we re happy with this location but maybe pay closer attention to customers names carefully next time.

Just picked up my 2020 Genesis G70 Prestige. Trisha Lee was the sales person I dealt with who was very professional, took the time to explain the details of the transaction and patiently answered a multitude of questions.

I had all my questions answered as this was my first car shopping experience. Harold was especially helpful with deciding the trim options and was very professional. Pathetic after sales experience. The disgusting part is that nobody follows up even if you raise a complaint or dissatisfaction about their service. I had to write an email to Hyundai Canada since there is no response from their end on my complaint. Chose the show room wisely if you want to purchase a Hyundai product. Because the way you should be treated matters. However I should say that their sales team is awesome.
Had a serious intermittent engine problem. The staff was able to find the issue and make the necessary repairs. They kept me informed of progress and even provided a loaner car during the repair period. Very satisfied with the service.

I have been servicing my car here, where I bought, since 2009 for 7 years. I was sad some good service advisors left. But Cato, the service manager, is willing to work with me. I am ignorant because I do not know about car and I have been burnt before by unethical professional. I need someone that I can trust 100% because I do exactly what they say. A lot of time and patience need to be invested to train good people. Hopefully, Cato finds good advisors share his workload. Cato respects seniors, I called him 5 times to ask the same question but he did not get mad. He knows I am getting old and slow; he'd just be patience with me.

I was helped carefully by Lillian in purchasing a car, she demonstrated the car features and helped me throughout the process. I was told to pick the car after a week for thorough detailing before delivery (which i had paid extra for the car protection). At the time of delivery i realized that the alignment which i had mentioned 1 week prior hadn't been done, the speaker had some rattling when the audio plays & the worst part is when i fold my rear seats i see FUNGUS which clearly notes that the car hadn't been cleaned properly. When i dust the seats, i can clearly see the dust coming out like an old couch. It disappoints me that i would have this kind of experience here.

I contacted Don Valley North Hyundai several weeks back on a whim, did not really know much about the Genesis brand or its cars but thought I would at least give them a try as I was looking to purchase a new vehicle. I can honestly say I fell in love with the G70 the moment I took my test drive. My experience with this dealership and specifically Trisha, my Experience Manager was nothing short of amazing from when she initially contacted me to book a Test Drive to the day, I picked up my new car. On more than one occasion Trisha took the time to explain all the features of the car, the pricing options, as well as letting me know what color options were available on the remaining 2020 models. During the entire process, Trisha was very patient, polite and courteous and I never felt as if I were being rushed into making a decision, even though I had let her know I would be test driving a number of other vehicles. On the day I was supposed to pick up my vehicle Trisha let me know that there was a decrease in my lease rate which reduced my payment, a pleasant surprise which I was happy about. She also let me know there was a minor issue with the Tint on one of the windows and she would not let the car be delivered to me with any issues. It was looking like I would have to wait a few days to pick up the car which would have been a major inconvenience, however Trisha worked extremely hard and was able to get the issue fixed so I could pick up my car without any delay. I really appreciated her honesty and helpfulness throughout my purchase experience. What a Great place to buy a car and have it serviced. My Girlfriend and I leased two cars from these guys and just went in this week to hand them back as the lease was up. Easily the best and most relaxed interaction with a salesman among the three car dealerships I had visited. Zaven worked hard to get me the best deal on everything I wanted in a car and more! I got to test drive all the cars I came in to see and Zaven thoroughly explained all the prices and deals on the vehicles I was interested in. Unlike at other dealerships I didn't feel pestered or forced into anything I didn't want. I purchased a Genesis G70 a few weeks back at this dealership and I must say, it was a memorable experience. I particularly have to give a shout out to my Genesis experience manager Trisha Lee. She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. She was extremely prompt and made sure I received the car as soon as possible. The cherry on top of the cake was that she delivered the car to my front door in under 2 weeks, and on my birthday! I'd highly recommend Trisha to anyone who's looking to test drive a Genesis vehicle. Her professionalism and care towards the customer is among the best I've seen.
Update: A couple days after getting my car I found 2 scratches on the gauge cluster. I connected with the service manager Cato Cheung a few days later and he asked me to bring the car into the dealership. His team worked on the car on the spot, and buffed out the scratches to a point where they're barely visible now.
Once again, great service by the entire Genesis team. This would definitely be my go to dealership if I'm in the market for another Genesis, and I would certainly recommend it for anyone else as well.

Bought my Ioniq EV from DVN Hyundai last week and the purchasing process was a little rocky to be honest but in the end, I walked away happy. Nash was my salesman and really went the extra mile to make sure that I walked away a happy customer so a big kudos to him. He was very responsive and answered all my emails, texts, calls right away... even when he wasn't working that day. Would I recommend this dealership to my friends? Just bought my fourth car (2 sedans and 2 SUV), a 2020 Santa Fe Luxury. Always very friendly and I especially like how efficient the sales rep is and understands my basic requirements. I have been working with Spencer Luk for a decade. I keep returning to this dealer over other ones closer to my home because of the better service and experience.
Don Valley North Hyundai was very approachable and friendly, and both the sales agent Allan Chow and the sales manager Chris Catsanos were very accommodating to my needs and concerns. Initially I had to wait for my car as they ran out of the white colour, but in the end I switched to a red Elantra GT instead and Chris was very reasonable in giving me a better discount because red was not my first choice. I got a very good deal on my trade-in and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. This dealership is quite honest, friendly and they genuinely care about their clients. My worse experience ever! I had bought a new car and wanted to sell my 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid to this dealer. Dealt with a used car manager by the name of Tegran on July 24th. Offered me $8500 for the car. I thought that was fine and wanted to think about it. Call Tegran twice on the following Saturday, left messages and no call back. Called again on Monday, left message and no call back. Called Tuesday and asked for the receptionist to see if this guy was in. Yes he was, but still no call back. Long and short of the story, I went back a day later to sign the papers over for my car and he goes to look at the car again. Tegran comes back and tells me I have a broken taillight that he did not see when he gave me the $8500 quote. I told him that was there when he saw the car a week earlier but he says he must have overlooked it. Then he tells me that he can only give me $8000 for my car because it will cost him $900 to fix my taillight. Mileage on my 7 year old car is 60,000. I stood listening to him wine and gripe about the price he had quoted, which he agreed to it a week earlier and the car was in the same condition. If in fact he did miss the broken taillight, kind of speaks to how he quoted the price in the first place. Or was he just wanting to find something to get out of the deal. Likely, the latter. A total waste of my time, twice driving 50 kilometers each trip to this dealer. I just purchased a Tesla on line in a matter of 15 minutes and what a fantastic experience. Having to buy or sell a car through a dealer is the most painful process ever. Stay away from this one and by the way, I would never buy another Hyundai; while the price is good at purchase, resale value is the worst. Paid $30,000 in November 2012 and offered this measly amount for a lady driven car with low mileage, 4 new tires and new brakes 6 weeks ago. I maintained the care in top condition. Good luck to anyone buying or selling from this dealer.
Follow-Up Comments (August 7, 2019) I did subsequently receive a followup call from the owner. I rehashed my story and basically, he said 'sorry' but would do nothing to rectify the error made byTergan. He offerred for me to bring in the car (for the 3rd time) and he would see what he could do. After two trips to this dealership, I was not going for a third time without a firm committment. In any event, the good news story for me is that I just sold my car private and received significantly more than the $8500 promised by this dealership. Moral of the story is don't sell a car to a dealer as you will definitely not get the best price and value for your asset.
The service department of this location is 1 star. My experience with the service department is dissatisfying, disappointed, and unimpressed by their false promises. The service manager communication skills is horrendous - I was told that will be provided an update via text or call. But so far, it's has been me asking for update and does not received any response.
I came in on July 15 for service/check the rear/back seat of my Hyundai Santa Fe XL. The string to pull up and down the seat is broken. It took 3 month for the parts to arrived which I wasn't told until Sept 7 that it would arrived on Oct 9. The time between July 15 to Sept 7- I tried numerous time to get an update from the service manager (Martin) but unsuccessful.
Finally the parts arrived and book an appointment on Oct 15 - guess what?! I dropped off my card at 9AM thinking that it would be done by end of day. I received a call from "S", THE SEAT HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED. Apparently there was a part missing. Sean mentioned that he has ordered the missing part and would arrived (Oct 17). Also, I would received a call from Martin on Oct 16 to provide update. Again, I did not received a call from anyone. I waited until Oct 18 to call, Martin is off will be back on Oct 21. I called and texted "M" on Oct 21, no response from my text but when I called, I was told he was off.
Today, I called 3x, 1st call no answer, 2nd call - I was put on hold and the line hanged up; 3rd call - finally I was able to talk to "M". I don't know even he apologized to me with all the confusion. All I remember him telling me is that all the parts we're actually there and it was an oversight from the person replacing the chair. I have booked the appointment again. I'm really hoping that this will be resolved on my next appointment.
This is just unacceptable customer service from a big company like Hyundai.
I hope other customer will have better experience with the service department. I hope my issue will be resolved soon.
NOTE: The "S" and "M" are the service manager/service individual I was dealing with.

Picked up our 3rd Santa Fe from Spencer Luk the other day. Spencer as always was very accommodating, especially during these Covid Days. Always wanted to make sure our needs were met, and we understood the car and its features.
Pick up was quick and easy. Car was waiting, a little demo on its Key features (distanced and masked of course) a few signed documents and away we went.
Dealership was clean and had lots of Sanitizer along with lots of space. We felt very safe and comfortable being there.
