They charged me for something that was under warranty. I don t trust to this dealership anymore and will not come back for service repair anymore. So disappointed!!
I brought the car to check if the issue is only from the parts that has warranty. Hyundai only checked the brakes the. They can simply tell me before checking the brake that it may from the brakes and if we check it we will charge $150 only for diagnosis!!!
When I explain all my concern they told me: "You know we have to make money here" however they have a sentence on their invoice about satisfaction warranty but it's a lie because they didn't care about my concern at all.

Great friendly dealership. Staff is really down to earth and would do anything to serve your needs. The facility is somewhat small for its traffic. Hopefully they will refresh the facility to catch up with the popularity of the brand.

I would like to advise Hyundai to help better the dealers: I would like to receive from Hyundai whatever was not deliver at the time of my transaction. Whatever did not exist (not yet !!!) should be delivered for the 2021 January/ February buyers free of charge !!!

The folks at Don Valley North Hyundai are truly focused on customer service. This is the first time that I have purchased a car from a dealership and I was really impressed. Mezghan (Mezzie) only showed me cars that would give me longevity and took the time to really know my needs - my five-10 year goals. She didn't push anything on me that wasn't taking my future plans to grow a family into account. She was extremely patient as I looked through my options, and eager and friendly.

They were rammed the afternoon that I went and that's the only reason that I am not giving them a full five stars - it did get a little hectic. However, they exerted any energy they had left to give my boyfriend and I the time that we wanted to take with this decision.

After the purchase of my car there was a bit of a misunderstanding but the manager, Nash, took the time to call me and apologize for the misunderstanding and made everything right again. He called immediately, not three days after (like some places). I really appreciated his integrity and how quick he was to understand my concerns and address them like a professional.

I am really glad that I ended up coming here, best experience I have had at a dealership yet!

Probabaly one of the worst dealerships I've ever been to. Service is close to non existant. Andre is a nice guy, but never follows up with you when he said he will. Also, I went over to the service counter to purchase fuel addictives and was informed they don't know what it is then changed their answer to we don't sell them. Went down to another hyundai dealership richmond hill and stouffville and had no issues. Service was way better and they have way better deals. Stay away from this one.

I have lived in Canada for 18 years and it was the worst car service experience I have ever had. I went to Don Valley north Service (in Woodbine Ave) to change the oil and the gas tank lid needed to change the wire. I had already made an appointment. When I went there and they said I had to wait for several hours, I said I had never experienced such a thing, they said this it is. I said where should I stand? Because inside, in addition to the places marked on the ground, more people were standing. I had to stand outside in very cold weather. At the same time, I texted the text number that the company had confirmed to me on the first day and said that if your branch is busy, you should give ride to the customer. They text to me "standing outside is worth not paying $ 300 for change wire"!!!!! (I had a Warranty and they did not favor me)
Interestingly, at the end they said "we did not have wire" and didn't fix the tank door.
They changed the oil and delivered the car just as dirty.
I got sick- the part didn't repaired- Here neither customer health nor customer work is valuable to them. Do not refer to this service at all, they do not even know the initial treatment of the customer.

Unfortunately, no one from your service called me YET!!! and I went to Aurora. They repair the car themselves for FREE,. I'm sorry that your service area is very messy and I think that now that they have been waiting for several months, the gas tank door part will come and call me !!!
There was only one reason. The car had a warranty and you had to do it for FREE, so you put it on the no-call list....

The sales employee was very nice and understanding. My father can be blunt and has an interesting sense of humour. The sales associate had patience and was joking back with my dad. Great guy. Spent about 30-45 minutes with us. Then, to negotiate price, the manager was called in. No smile and showing us attitude right off the bat. He gave off such a rude demeanour that I didn't even want to stay in his presence. We left within 10 seconds of meeting him.

I worked with Garene Asmarian to buy a pre-owned vehicle. He was clear, honest and was like dealing with an open book about the vehicle. He didn't try to play with numbers, he was just clear about what could and couldn't be done as far as price. However, he was well informed about the vehicle and what had been done to it. He was quick to answer or respond and was always polite and friendly. He initially dealt with my brother who lives in Toronto as I live in Ottawa. My brother used to sell cars, new and used, for several years and was really impressed with Garene's approach and professionalism.
Susan Su, the financial services manager, was also a pleasure to deal with. Very clear and professional. She wasn't too pushy with the sales of extra options. She was sure to be very clear about certain advantages that were being declined by not opting for certain extras, but not pushy.
I would definitely recommend this dealership based upon my experience.
Oh, and I got a great vehicle at a great price too.

If you value your car don't take it here. I have a 2011 genesis coupe 2.0t.
The car had power and when i went to start it, it would turn over but not start. There was one light on the dash, the engine light. They told me after two diagnosis it was the timing chain. That's a big job where half the engine need to be taken appart. They had 3 or 4 days to do this 8 hour job. I went to pick up my car the Monday morning like planned. The advisor Carson lied to me and said the oil pan needed to dry, delaying whole repair time by an extra day. The next day i call and he said to be honest your car is still in pieces and don't know when it will be done. I ended up getting my car back the Thursday night, after 7 business days! The nice lady at the front desk cashed me out because service was closed. I went to my car, it started with the engine light gone BUT two new other lights where on now! For some reason the ABS and stability controle lights were now on.. On top of that I can feel wear on my clutch like if someone learnt to drive stick for the first time with my car. Just like how the guy was learning how to drive, he was also learning how to turn wrenches on my car.
I left my car there and it never left the lot for a day. I went back on the Friday to talk to Carson and he said it's not their fault because the wheels where never takin off.
So why didin't the first diagnosis picked up the wheel sensor code/error, along with the Christmas tree of lights they left me on the dash.
I went online and looked up the wheel sensor. There is a cable that go's to the engine bay area that is part of the sensor. The guy working on my car must have pinched the wire or something or broke it.
Anyway don't come here if your car is off warranty. They are a fix one brake two kind of shop

Early this summer when I started looking for vehicle again, I sent in another inquiry and once again, Trishia Lee was there. I brought a Hyundai 2020 Tucson Luxury model and picked it up last Wed. I was happy to make a deal with the Sales, Zaven, who was patience and looked for my requirements with priority during the progress of negotiation. On the pick-up date(last Wed), Zaven introduced deeply on the functions of the Tucson, which was my first car of Hyundai. I appreciated that.

After I returned to home, the Tucson made my sons so excited with lots of new electronic features, especially the super big sunroof. However, my wife found a chip on the right hand of the the Tucson. The chip had
already RUSTed. This made my wife so disappointed although the xhip was relatively small. I called Zaven immediately and he told me to return to dealer next day.

When I was in the dealer, Zaven had a look on that chip and reported to his manager, Daugulas, who firstly apologized to me without any argument. Then, we went to her body shop and confirmed that the chip was rusted. Therefore, it must be removed the rust and re-painted that one area of plate.

After returning to the Sales manager, Daugulas, he suggested 2 options to me.
1) re-paint that area with rusted chip
2) her body shop uses touch-up pen to paint it and I will get a $200 service credits

For me, I will choose option 2. For my wife, she insisted to option 1.

Therefore, I selected option 1 and I got a borrowed car from the dealer while my Tucson was in the body shop.

Today, it had done. I satisfied how the Sales, Zaven, and the Sales manager, Daugulas served me as a customer while the progress of car selection, price negotiation and the abnormal finding after car delivered.

I will give Don Valley North Hyundai five star and introduce my friends to be there too.

I cannot say enough nice things about this dealership. It was a bit hectic dealing with the credit approval and waiting for my vehicle to be delivered to the dealership but the staff was EXTREMELY accommodating and went above and beyond to make my purchase one of the happiest moments of my life. After driving the same vehicle for 12 years - I m truly blessed to be driving around in my brand new 2021 Tucson Ultimate. A HUGE thank you to Run (sales associate) and Susan (business manager) for absolutely everything. Especially Run for coming in on his DAY OFF to get my paperwork in order. I cannot thank you enough!!! Truly the top of the line customer service and the most helpful and friendliest people I ve encountered in a long time!

C'mon, there are few other customers also asked to do the same. I lost my patience and left after 15 min. It is simply unthinkable. Forget it.

My father in law purchased a used vehicle from this location mid-April of this year. He got a great deal. The engine light came on a few days ago so together with him, we took the car to their service department and they fixed the problem immediately without questioning anything. I have spoken to Ash and Cato who are managers in their respective departments. Both gentlemen were kind, on top of everything and helped us every step of the way. I highly recommend this dealership for your next purchase and or repair needs. They truly care about their customers and they go above and beyond to make sure your experience is exceptional.

Brought my car for service repair which is under warranty. First, the advisor couldn't help me with a loaner or a rental car. I personally had to go back almost everyday because the advisor did not call me up for updates. Then after a week, again I visited their department, lo & behold, I was told that I have to pay all the repair & parts & have to pay the rental car out of my pocket. I wonder where my extended warranty went. Ball park figure of the overall cost is way out of this world.
I had to escalate it to management. Thankfully, Cato was able to look up the info. My warranty indeed covers the repair. And he also provided me a loaner which is a sigh of relief. Now, all I have to do is wait until the work is done. For now, excellent job on your part, Cato. 5 to you.

I went to discuss regarding Hyundai Palisade, after having the test drive, I was very much impressed by the car 10/10. After that went to have the discussion regarding the commercials, but my utter dismay after waiting for 35 minutes I was asked to leave with in 3 minutes with no further discussion. Literally 3 minutes, I counted on my watch. The Customer agent was like this is my offer, take it or leave it. "My way or highway" No further discussion. If this was only the discussion the agent wanted to do, he could have sent me over email or phone without wasting my time, not sure if he respect his own time. Oh sorry, he did not wasted more then 3 minutes it was me who wasted it. I had heard lot of good things about this dealer, but it was a disappointment. Minus rating is not possible otherwise I would have given that for sure.

We pay for the car from our hard earned money, you guys have not right to treat us like that. And don't worry there are other dealers who are ready to get business from me. Thank god I am saved, about the pain what I would have to go through after buying the car from them.

Michael treated me with the utmost respect and gave me several options for financing and helped me throughout each stage of the process. We bought Hyundai Palisade from Don valley Hyundai. The expected date of delivery was 24th march but we got our car before even the expected date. Rick ( Sales person) and Susan (Finance Manager) gave us really very good customer service.

Only giving a 1 star rating because that's the only way I can write a review. My experience with this service department deserves a 0 or negative star rating.

Service department has had my vehicle since mid-July for an engine replacement and they still haven't started the repairs (it is now Sep 13). After not getting an initial update by my service advisor (Sean) on when my repairs will start and if all the parts were in, I went in person on Aug 10 to get an update. Was told by my service advisor that all the parts were in and repairs will begin Aug 12 and I should have my car back Aug 16. Did not receive an update until Aug 22 when my service advisor emails me to tell me he doesn't have space for my vehicle and he does know when repairs will start.

After getting this update, I meet my service advisor again in person and request a call from his manager (Cato) to discuss this matter as I can't understand how my vehicle cannot be scheduled for repairs after 1 month and how my vehicle should have been ready on Aug 16 to them not knowing when repairs will start. Service advisor tells me his manager will call me the next day. Didn't get a call back till 1 week later.

The service manager calls me on Aug 30 and advised me that my repairs WILL start on Sep 3 (after labor day long weekend) and there is a service bay ready and booked for my car and repairs should be done by Sep 6.

Its now Sep 13 and once again, no updates from anyone in the service department. I decide to visit them again in person and was told by my service advisor that my repairs did not start and they are still waiting for a part to come in. Unfortunately the service manager is on vacation and nobody can tell me when my repairs will start. The shop has had my vehicle since mid-July, I was told all the parts were in and was given at least TWO different dates on when repairs will start and after more than 8 weeks, am being told repairs haven't started AND all the parts aren't in?

The customer service I have received here is pathetic. My service advisor does not return my voicemails or emails for weeks and the only way to get an answer is to go in person. I also feel blatantly lied too by the service manager as he told me repairs WILL start on a certain date and they never did. Whats worse, there was no communication that my repairs didn't start and I had to go in person to find out this information.

My vehicle was unfortunately brought here by Hyundai roadside as they were the nearest dealer when my car needed to get towed. After I get this matter resolved, I will never use this dealership again and will definitely not recommend them to any friends or family. Their communication is horrendous and they hold no accountability for their mistakes. My attempt to escalate this issue to the service manager only yielded a worse result - feeling utterly dissapointed and disgusted by their false promises. At this point, words from anybody at the service department here mean nothing to me. I have escalated this matter to Hyundai Canada and hope to find a resolution.

On November 03, 2017, I visited the Don Valley North Hyundai dealership, and was assisted by Sean Cheng.
Sean, in a word, is amazing. Having recently completed a challenging relocation to Toronto, with the accompanying daily problems of a family move, Sean was super eager to help, and admittedly, the most knowledge dealership technician I have had the privilege to encounter. He was not only friendly, but caring and kind. There was no hint of rush or impatience the entire time he helped me he took plenty of quality time to explain, make suggestions, and even call my previous Hyundai dealership on my behalf to figure-out what they had done, which was wrong, and why it was so expensive! Seriously, I was so impressed - I couldn t thank him enough! I still can t. Let me finish with this: I am a landed immigrant, and sometimes it can be difficult to get people to assist you without taking advantage of you, or they just don t care. This is what really made the difference Sean knew that I was new and inexperienced, but he had compassion, he had sensitivity, he had time and knowledge too (an abundance!) most importantly though, he had a desire to help someone with truth, honesty and expertise. I do my oil change here. Once, I requested synthetic oil be used when I booked my appointment over the phone. It wasn't noted and they put regular oil in. I double checked and they owned up to their mistake, no hassle or try to get out of changing it again.
The guys at service reception are nice and professional.

So recently I traded in my car. I made my deal with Jonathan Park, who was quite professional. He kept me updated when we found out the delivery was going to be delayed due to weather.

So I had to full sales and service experience at Don Valley North Hyundai. Solid team.

I really wish I had a better experience with this dealership even after the first bad experience, I continued to come back to give them another chance but it seems this place is just bad luck for me.

First incident, I had new brakes put on my car last summer from THIS dealership. Just four days after that service, I was driving with my mom, husband, and cousin in the car when the wheels made a loud sound and we pulled over. The WHOLE brake had fallen out!! We were on a highway and were very lucky this happened as we were taking the off ramp. It was a holiday so no dealerships were open and I was in Barrie. We needed to tow the car all the way and we left it in their parking lot as this was the problem they caused. The tow truck driver said the brake caliper mounting bolts came out, the caliper fell off and got caught between the brake rotor and the wheel. This snapped the rotor and tore the brake free. Needless to say all of us were lucky to be alive.

I sent an e-mail to the service manager and general manager about this horrific experience. They looked it over and fixed everything up without charging me and assured me they would look after my car closely.

Even after this experience, I thought I would give them another chance and hope they would treat me and my car better after this.

Unfortunately I realized this is not the case.

On Sunday, I took my car in to drop off for a oil change and tire change on Monday morning. On Monday, Martin called me to tell me that they could not find the wheel locks for my all season tires. I have never touched the bolts which are always located in my glove compartment. I pretty much have never touched them since I got the car, people who change my tires can locate them there and always put them back. Now I assume that they clearly went missing the last service I had with them in November to put on my winter tires. It went back and forth between me saying I never moved them and the service manager saying the foreman had put it back last time. They asked to keep my car one more night to look it through clearly and I allowed it. Today is Tuesday. I received one message at 3:49PM telling me that they still couldn't find it. At this point I am just wanting to get my car back. I asked if they could call me so we could resolve this issue, even if I have to buy new wheel locks then fine.

No answer through text and I called to leave multiple voice mails to Martin. Now my car is staying A SECOND night without my permission, and nobody had updated me on what was done to my car today. This is absolutely ridiculous and I have never had such issues with a dealership before.

I guess I will be going do a different place to get my service done.

Thank you, Martin, for the honest to tell me the fact that my vehicle has to wait 2-3 weeks to be checked after 3 days waiting. Allow me to tow my vehicle to other Hyundai to do the repairs. I dont have to waste anymore unexpected long time to fix my vehicle.

However, there would be 5 star if you can tell before i tow my vehicle to your store when i called ahead to plan where my vehicle should tow to. Thanks again to limited my waste time and tow fee.
