We were seated immediately, and that was it. It was 3 pm and only one other table was occupied but no one ever came over to rake the order. After waiting we walked out. No food, no drinks, horrible service.

We stopped by for "happy hour" and a bite to eat before catching our flight back home. Let me tell you service was great! The food was just as good. Pulled pork was delicious, and my mother had the western burger, seriously the best burger I've ever had, we all tried a bite and everyone agrees the burger was amazing. The brine chicken was delicious too. Highly recommend!

Southern style food, freshly smoked meats and also they serve seafood. Their ribs are great and they also serve sweet tea and give popcorn when you sit down. The staff is very diverse and they have a family friendly set up.

The food reminded me of Awww Shucks in Florida. The fried pickles were fried whole not sliced. Still were tasteful. I got the fish not chips. There was so much breading on the code that I had to peel it off. The dipping sauce was creamy and sweet. The fog horn bruges my daughter got seriously tasted like a quarter pounder from McDonald's.
Food cane out fast, but the waitress was not in her game. She never smiled or refilled our drinks. We had to vet her to bring us the check. If it was packed I would have understood, but that was not the case.

Food here was good, not great. I really enjoyed the brussel sprouts as a side dish, but didn't touch my mac and cheese or the slice of cold bread. The pork I got was good (a bit on the dry side), but I enjoyed trying the different types of barbeque sauce with it. I didn't care for the popcorn when we sat down, but it was free so I'm not complaining. Service was good, and everything was pretty reasonably priced. I probably won't come back, mainly because I wasnt too impressed. Nothing really "wowed" me here. Overall, a good place but not a great place.

I recently put an order in for takeout. The order was for 4X burgers and fries for my family. The person who took my order never informed me that they ran out of buns and that it would come on texas toast (sliced bread). I called back to let them know I wouldn t have placed that order had I known. They passed me off to the manager on shift. His response was yeah we ran out of buns. He finished off with sorry you didn t enjoy your experience and hung up on me. Terrible service! Rude manager/staff! I was a repeat customer but will not be returning.

I thought the food was good. It reminds me of the smokehouse in Texas not fancy but good food. The brisket was a bit dry; however, we did not order it moist so that may make the slight dryness better. The sides were good I especially liked the cornbread. I was disappointed with the greens. There is an underlying flavor that conflicts with the greens. I don't know of it came from the pepper vinegar or if it was in the greens themselves. They just weren't my grandma's greens. Overall the food and atmosphere were enjoyable. I can't wait to try the hamburgers and bannana pudding.

Was brought here for lunch today, a little hesitant as I am a city girl from NY but some years spent living and eating in NC. But I was in for a surprise!!! I loved it all! The ribs were EXACTLY HOW I LOVE THEM. No complaints what so ever! Service was fantastic. Waitress CHRISTINE was super attentive, friendly and definitely patient as I wanted to try everything on the menu lol. Mai tai drink was HUGE AND YUMMY. I will most certainly be returning.

EXCELLENT food and customer service. I made sure to try the unique sides and I LOVED the fried mac and cheeses and SWEET TEA. Good variety of beer as well.
The burger is good, fried tacos are good, and hush puppies are okay.

The best food I ve had in 2 weeks on the island. I visited twice and had the brisket once and the smoked meatloaf the second time. Both were amazing, but the meatloaf was shockingly delicious.

The first place on the island I have been to with the kind of BBQ I have been dreaming about since leaving da mainland. The brisket sandwich was awesome! I am sure to be back before too long and give the pork a try. Friendly and fast service as well.

Stylish interior and dim lighting create a cozy but fun atmosphere.
This is a relaxed bar and grill with excellent food. There are many choices for beers on tap (there's a 64 ounce size option). They have outdoor and indoor seating. I have only been one time, but I plan on returning to try more of the menu.

My wife and I both had fish and chips. Maybe other things are good but probably the worst fish I have ever had. The cod wasn't completely cooked. Fries were below average but at least edible. Hopefully this was just a bad day that can blame on covid.

Just moved from Wilmington NC. The big ol' sweet tea was the best offer unfortunately. Pickle brined fried chicken sandwich left a lot to be desired. Whatever cornmeal breading they had on fell off after the 1st couple bite and I only ate half.

If your homesick, stop in at Dixie grill. It's a little taste of home. The food is great, the beer is ice cold, and the staff treats you like an old friend. Great place to get some grub and relax.

The brisket was good, the pickled onions that came with it were amazing, and the beans were made with sweet relish, I think, which wad a game changer for me. Service was great and they have an outdoor sandbox for kids to play in.

I had the pleasure of going here for lunch last week. I'm so glad I got to go. I knew this place was different when the waitress sat down the most perfect popcorn I've ever seen. Then the pull pork with the bbq sauce was the next thing. It was flavorful and quite delicious. Last but not least the fried okra, it was lightly breaded and just right. I will definitely come back on my next trip.

Our experience here was fantastic. Our bartender was amazing. She was very friendly and helpful. We ordered an appetizer with our food, which all came out at the same time. While it was all good, I suggest ordering one, then waiting till the appetizer comes out before ordering the main. The BBQ is 'southern' good, for the island. I will see if others come close, but so far it seems this is the best you can get, which isn't bad and I would recommend if you want a pulled pork sandwich.

This place is an absolute jewel. Tucked away behind walls of traffic and construction is a little bit of southern hospitality. The food is absolutely delicious. I've had the triple decker club and the pulled pork. Both are so filling. And did I mention they serve bottomless sweet tea??????!!!!????

Awesome place. Great "down home" southern food. I'm from West Texas so this place felt like back home. I've been a couple times already and every time it's great and the food is wonderful. You can choose to sit inside or outside. I can't say enough good things about this place but it's definitely going to be a regular stop.

Fantastic 1st time, had the smoked Turkey, bacon w/ avocado sand and it did not disappoint.
My buddy always gets the 32 oz screaming Mai Tai, it's a must have. Also make sure to get cornbread, it's out of this world. Nice 6 pack of different bbq sauces from all over

My husband and I tried Dixie Grill for the first time tonight. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and our server Eric was awesome! Good sized portions for a great price. We really appreciated how he didn t bring out our appetizers and entrees within 5 minutes of each like most places so we didn t feel rushed at all! Overall a great experience, we will definitely be back!!

I'm floored that I don't see anybody else here calling this a "dive". Perhaps the secret here is to get you hammered until your beer goggles are on? Maybe the hardly smiling service is what killed the cockroach that was - literally - being carried away by ants? Or the one that was belly up in the bathroom? Seriously not recommended.

Food was Absolutely Delicious Great Service, drinks a little on the pricey side but the atmosphere makes up for that, We were very Pleased with the Food and The Owner seemed genuinely happy that we were happy.

A little difficult getting into the parking lot, only able to get in on going west bound on Kamehameha hwy. Don't miss turn or it's a long way around again. The seats in the booths there are in terrible shape. But the service today was excellent and the brisket was very good. Bottomless drinks was also nice to have.

LOUD! Doesn't matter, still delicious food! Hubby's steak was well done rather than rare. They we so apologetic, replaced it and it was spectacular! My dinner was perfect. Only thing I wish would be some actual juice rather than just sodas or countrytime. We will be back many times.

Bullet Points: great food, great parking, great sauces, great staff, great experience, highly recommend this downhome cooking kind of place!

Amazing little spot, parking is great, easy to get to. Service is friendly and quick, welcoming, helpful, and the food is out of this world! We explained we had to rush to catch a (long) flight, and the host and server helped us not only get lunch quickly, but we were able to enjoy the tasty meal, at a table, sitting down in the restaurant and have refills on the refreshing iced tea!

The pork sandwiches were just right, moist but not drippy, lean but not dry. Fries were hot and crisp, not dried nor burned and not soggy, macaroni salad was generously portioned and comfort-food familiar.

Due to the hurry we were in, we ordered what we estimated to be the ready-to-serve food, and it came out quickly. Don't think because it was so readily served that it lost any taste or appeal, it didn't! And the sauces were wonderful. We were pressed for time, I may have mentioned that, but I made sure to try all six bar-b-que sauces, Hawaiian, Southwest Texas, Memphis, Savannah, Kansas City, and Eastern Carolina, during our stop. Each one had a unique taste and consistent with the areas they represented, as far as I could tell. I had never tried Kansas City BBQ and found it may have become one if the top contenders. SW Texas sauce had a hint of cumin, the sweetness in the Hawaiian, and ....well, you'll just have to try them yourself and find your favorite!

The atmosphere is true bbq-style restaurant, saw several families eating here, kids with soccer cleats, babies, some grandparents, groups of friends, a couple at the bar, indoor and outdoor seating. Had all the makings of a place I would be a regular at, if it weren't so far from home.

One last note, the staff worked with us to help us get fed and get going. Their graciousness and kindness cannot be overemphasized. Our server, I think I remember her name as Sabrina, was stellar assisting us in ordering, anticipating our needs, hustling like she was the one with the flight to catch. She was not inconvenienced nor impatient with our circumstance, but treated us well. She was an amazing server, and because of her we were well fed and richly blessed in our last escapade on Oahu.

Dixie Grill, thank you! Keep up the fabulous job!

I am visiting the island after being gone for 7 years, this was always a go to spot for me. The food is good and you can't go wrong with the Mai Tai. I had the seafood mix (catfish, calamari and shrimp) which I found to be excellent. The group of people I came in with were split, half the group said the food was just edible the other half voiced their agreement that the food was excellent. The service was a little slow, but we had a group of 10. All in all this was one of my favorite haunts while living on island, it may not be as good as I remember but definitely worth coming back to.

If you are looking for some modified Southern food, then this is the place. Just don't expect to feel like you are sitting in Grandma's kitchen getting your cornbread and collard greens. Overall the food is good but it can get loud and busy. Mostly seems to be the military crowd trying to get their fill of back home yummies.
