Very relaxed bar and grill. Decent BBQ and one of the few places I've found sweet tea. Pricing is good and the food is plentiful.

Great southern food. Nice ambiance. Will be going back.

Food was okay. Brisket and pulled pork were a little dry. Choice of 6 sauces. Most were pretty good.

Good local place for beer and pupus. If you're in Aiea you should stop by. Parking, service and prices all good.

Great bbq at decent prices. A daily happy hour and welcoming staff makes this place a definately return to.

Ordered a Swamp Water drink and the fried shrimp plate. Both were great, and my husband had a burger which he enjoyed

Great BBQ and the sweet tea is great. You get a huge glass of it too, more like a pitcher.

The food here is awesome especially the smoked plate, baked beans and macaroni and cheese. However, it smells of old beer making the environment unpleasant while trying to enjoy the meal. If they were to clean it up some and get rid of that awful smell, I would definitely rate it 5 stars. They have good drinks as well.

Very good food and atmosphere. Excellent southern BBQ on the islands. Staff is great and very attentive. Portions we're perfect. Not too big or small. Next time here I'll visit again.

The hamburgers here are amazing, and we'll put together, great customer service and will likely visit again.

I'm from the deep South so I'm a huge southern food fan. The catfish and mac n cheese just wasn't seasoned enough or cooked to perfection.

Best BBQ on the island! Love their sauce choices that come with any of their platters.

Good service and nice food. the portion of main is good enough to leave you some space for starter and dessert. love the cocktails.
make sure you visit during happy hour. the price for beer is the best on the island

Whiskey dix is a a hopping souther style restaurant and and bar. The food is good the people working are so friendly. There were a lot of us going to get some dinner after a run and they got us seated right away as drinks were on the way. You must try the slamming mai tai with extra shot. The beer is good too and they both come in enormous mugs!! I had the fried pickle and the brisket and loved it.

Covered outdoor seating and a sandbox for the kiddies. BBQ & seafood. Great Southern taste.

I think the pulled pork is ok. I'm from Georgia and the vinegar based barbecue was ok. It is nice to have a taste of home here on the island. Also the sweet tea could be better. As in stronger, and sweeter. I know there is no comparison out here because McDonalds dont sell it and there is no chic fil a and to be honest people out here dont know how to make good sweet tea....yet.

Great food. Watch out for the 32oz beers that aren't on the happy hour menu though. Cost more than the meal! $$

This place has great wings & southern style sweet tea. Pulled pork has good flavor & very tender.

Great BBQ. You'll be full for sure. Six sauces to choose from. My wife said to check out the women's bathroom. It was there before all the gender identity stuff. :)

Greet country style setting, Ono food, awesome atmosphere and reasonable prices!

The people done gave BBQ a bad name. This is not American BBQ. This place needs to shut down .

Country music, country feels. I had a margarita, fried green tomatoes and a vegan burger with fries, all were delicious. Very good service as well.

Getting to the place is a bit tricky but the food is good.

Staff was great! Love all the food we bought to try, catfish was great,the brisket and pulled pork was great. The chicken fried steak was tender, fried mac and cheese was on point so was the fried pickles. Sweet tea! Made me feel like I was back home eating.

Tremendous atmosphere and outstanding food. "Deeo Fried Deviled Eggs?" Well, they have em and boy, are they good!!! Their multi pack of sauces are also a treat. Fir burgers and fries.

Great food and great atmosphere. Great bar selection. It's good barbecue, I recommend the pulled pork.

5 stars is ONLY for our server, Sean the savage and not my food! He was attentive and thorough without being intrusive. Best service we've had in forever. Great recommendations on drinks and was just on it all night long. all four of us were impressed!

Great atmosphere but that was NOT BBQ. Mac n cheese taste like processed Velveeta, collard greens were ok but I like mine less sweet and more vinegar. brisket was super dry but their sauces helped. Good BBQ is difficult to find in Hawaii.

The food portions were disappointing. For a 45 dollar meal, we got a small tray of calamari, a thin burger, and hardly a handful of pulled pork. The only good thing was my wife s sweet tea

Major props to Dixie Grill which has added a vegetarian section to their menu! One of the new menu items is the Beyond Meat Burger made from plants. This meat substitute is 100% plant-based. Make sure to let your server know about any food allergies as they are avery accomodating and cooked my patty in a seperate pan to avoid contamination with other meat products. I consider myself to be an amateur "FC" I have eaten real southern food from South Carolina to Louisiana, and in Hawai'i after living here for 8 months, I was disappointed at a lot of the eateries, recently my friend took me to the Dixie grill because they had Country Friend Steak and Collard Greens, I Loved it, I just loved that all the spices rolled off your palate in the Collards, and my country fried steak, even though in a crispy batter, rather then breaded batter, was perfectly made, I did not like the Mac and Cheese, but that was just me and my particular liking. I am going again to have the Catfish and the Ribs!

Dixie Grill atmosphere is still laid-back and their BBQ sauces are well made. I had the beef brisket sandwich today. The beef was smokey with just a little fat. The roll was ok. The slaw was good but very tiny. 3 pickle slices very good I should have asked for more. The chips seemed homemade, they were good but not crisp, like they'd gotten steamed. My lunchmate and I agreed that we'd rather have fries. The iced tea was okay. Good service.

Its has a nice siting and some popcorn for free and there is a bar so be careful not to make anyone drunk mad other then that its fine.

We have been wanting to try this place for months as the parking lot is always packed and it looks like it would be great for BBQ and seafood. Service was great and the inside had a local feel reminding me of the Carolinas. Here is what we ordered and what we thought. Beer, good and cold. Buffalo wings were cold and overly breaded. Oysters on a half shell were HUGE, non grainy and flavorful. 2 different hamburgers could be seasoned all the way through. Meat was bland due to this and could've been a better cut (not soft), crab was water logged, served chilled, some parts were dry and seemed like it had been cooked and left out. Probably the worst crab legs I have ever had. My daughter had the chicken tenders and fries. Chicken was nicely breaded and my 5 year old liked it. Fries all around were undercooked and not seasoned what so ever. We may go back another time to try other menu items but my husband isn't a fan and I may run over solo to give this place a 2nd chance. Def better BBQ and seafood on the island.

Great bbq place on island and loved the choices for bbq sauce. They give you free popcorn and there is a sandbox for small kids. There is no a/c so caution if its a hot day.

Such great food and local people. Prices a good service was great and the maitai was killer.

Lots of vegan options. It's all vegan so if you like meat it's a no go.

Not fancy but one of best restaurants for the money you will find on the island. There pulled pork can't be beat. There prices are very reasonable for what you get.

First time in Hawaii and wanted bbq and it was delicious

Great happy hour!! Cheap beers and good food specials. Also, their burgers are great -lots of choices like pastrami, fried egg, blue cheese and bacon. Try the Cobb salad with crab or fried pickles!

We came during slow time so no wait for our food. Burger was DELICIOUS as was the key lime pie. Definitely will recommend others here!

Outstanding food (calamari, fried catfish, even the side items) and staff. One of my coworkers requested for no green onions on her shrimp and grits (which were awesome as well), the chef took the time to come out and inquire if she wanted the red onions removed as well. So thankful that he did that because she wasn't aware that red onions were in it and she's allergic . We appreciate the attentiveness and punctuality of our server, covering such a big group. We will definitely patron again @ Dixie Grill!!!!

The Brussel sprouts were the highlight of the whole meal, hands down. It had a sort of Asian tangy savory twist I couldn t quite put my hand on but it was delicious. I did have a little discrepancy with my veggie burger. The manager said she d take it off the bill and I could order anything off the menu and it would be on her. All she did was take the burger off the bill and charged me for what I ordered to go because my parter was done eating. I was bummed.

We are new to the island, found this place driving past and decided to have dinner here, best choice she's made since arriving here! Everyone was kind and upbeat, the shift managers came made sure everyone was good, the food tasted of home i.e; being from the "South"(Louisiana) that's huge!!! The sweet tea is AMAZEBALLS!!! Just feels great in their place, thank y'all for having us, before and while our famalies come to visit...WE WILL BE BACK

I loved the atmosphere of this diner. Reminded me a little bit of home (SC). The food was good and I thought it was reasonable priced. Definitely not cheap, but not too expensive. Our waitress Natalie was super nice. There was a small mixup with our tab, but she easily fixed it for us. Definitely would come back.

Always a great place to go dor food and drinks. Great place for lunch! Plenty of food served, service is fast, courteous, and friendly. I enjoy ordring the rack of ribs with fries and mac and cheese(btw, i know hard to mess up, but still really good) and either eating it straight or smothering it in the bbq sauces that they give you when you order. Not the best ribs I've had, but pretty damn good! One of the many places I would go to over and over again!

The food and ambiance is pleasurable. There is spacing of tables, enter through one doorway, exit through another, requirement of masks for waitstaff and diners except when eating or drinking. The free popcorn is onolicious; no need for oily butter!!

The sweet tea was great and the food was delicious. Military discount on Mondays! Definitely try this place.

I'd avoid this restaurant entirely. I refused to leave a tip (something I've never done before, I will be very generous with tips if the service is good). Just went there with my family. After ordering, they only brought out half of our orders. We had to remind them of the 3 plates they forgot. Had to wait another 30 minutes before they got there. All of which were incorrect. After waiting another 15-20 minutes after eating (the food was gross gross anyways) for our tickets, the tickets came back wrong. Another 20 minutes before they finally got them right and we could go home. Try somewhere else

Tasty! About the only place on Hawaii with sweet tea, and at $4.50 they sure know it too! But it did not disappoint and the other food was good too. Service was a little slow but otherwise we liked it.
