Well well. I m very impressed. I will return here to get the cornbread the Mac and cheese and their sweet tea. I wish they had okra but it s all good. I ve tried the shrimp and grits and I wasn t that impressed but overall the customer service is 5 stars !!! The manager took my shrimp and grits off my receipt because he saw that I didn t eat a lot of it and wanted me to have a great experience!!! That kind of virtue has really been missing in the world and this is why they get five stars and recommendations from me ! Please visit if you re a southerner like me because they may have some items from my home state beat (I m sorry, Roll Tide, though )!!! Enjoy

Tried Dixie Grill for the first time. My husband ordered the Beef Brisket sandwich and I ordered the Ball Buster Burger. First of all, my husbands beef brisket was not brisket at all, more like roast beef. The second I picked up my burger, grease just poured out of it. The Mac and Cheese on the burger had ZERO taste. So the burger was trash, too greasy and just fell apart. Our waitress saw us ONCE. When she took our order, never came back to see if we needed anything else or to refill our waters. Then a different waitress came by and we asked for the check which she came by and just tossed it onto the table and walked off, not a word said. First and the LAST time going here.

I use to always love going here. I know with this whole new way of getting into a new normal can be difficult. We try to support restaurants.
We decided to go here for lunch and now we can just seat ourselves anywhere. It took a while for a waitress to come greet and take our drink orders. However, she was really friendly.
The food was good. The sweet tea is still really great.
We waited for over 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken. I think that if we felt more welcomed when we came in and if they came up to us to take our drink orders quicker, it would of been better.

I wasn t too thrilled with the food. We ve been here several times and I ve ordered something different every time. While the bbq is decent (the meatloaf is actually better than decent, it s pretty amazing), I ve tried burgers, a couple different sandwiches, and the Cobb salad. None were that great.

However, some of their appetizers and sides are pretty awesome.

Just feels super expensive for okay food. However, the place has a great vibe for drinking happy hour beers and the service is awesome!

This was a pretty solid place. The appetizers, sides, and sweet tea were amazing. The service was great, they were quick and pleasant. They lost a star because I ordered my burger medium-well and it was medium-rare and overall good but not spectacular. Definitely a spot to check out especially since their happy hour is 3pm to 7pm and the prices are very fair.

Me, my husband, nephew and neighbor went here tonight and we absolutely LOVED the experience. We are from the south so we never thought we'd be able to find good southern food in Hawaii. We did though at this restaurant. We got the buffalo fries and calamari for appetizers and they were hot and delicious (and I don't even care for calamari). I ordered the shrimp and grits it was phenomenal!! My husband got the buffalo burger and liked it he's a nit picker though. My neighbor got the Pickled brine chicken sandwich and said it was great as well. Not only the food but the staff was VERY friendly! Our waiter engaged in conversation with my 4 year old nephew and that is very rare to see in my experience. And lastly atmosphere was great! I loved the mix of country and soft rock we will most definitely be back here

For a restaurant that seems to be southern this place definitely was a miss. Food tasted bland, burger over cooked, macaroni salad mayonnaise based, oysters small especially for the price. Waitress not very attentive whatsoever. Just all around this place is a bust.

Great mainland out-in-the-country feel. Pleasant staff. Food isn't the best, but not the worst either. The friendly staff always helps to overlook Mediocre food. So does their great BBQ sauces.

They have excellent happy hour specials from 3-7pm and really good food. The Austin burger is by far one of my favorite items (not because my name is Austin but because the burger comes with brisket on it). They have several different types of BBQ sauces to try as well. Good place!

Food is good but service leaves lots to be desired.
I ve gone to this place 3 times and all 3 times service was bad. Two times it was the bartender taking my order and one to go.
Just a simple example I asked the bartender if the plate was the food I ordered and she responded with the most bothered tone of voice if that s what the order was then yes I don t bag the food

A simple let me double check or yes just to get over with would of been fine.

Best burgers you could find in a few miles around. For $10 a person, this place serves up mean burgers, great drinks, plenty of food, and a very nice venue! I would recommend this place to anyone.

During times of Covid staff needs to be a little more friendly to a family of 6 trying to give business to establishments. Right away they told us they couldn't seat us and we mentioned that other places were sitting us at two different tables to satisfy the rule of tables no larger than 5. Immediately we were told that they couldn't do that and they had the right to refuse service to us. The clerk got the manager as if we were trying to be disruptive and the manager said we could all sit at a table since it was only two adults with kids. After that anxiety ridden couple minutes exchange we were all seated together and had a super nice waitress and delicious food. Had the experience at the door been better I would have rated 5 stars.

It's hard to find southern food in hawaii. This is the place that has disappointed me the least in fulfilling my southern food fix and satisfying my nostalgia. Spiked sweet tea (ask for lemon), briscuit, pulled pork, ono..

I am a great cook from south Louisiana. The Dungeness crab and crab and artichoke dip were great and grits were cooked well, the coating on fried chicken sandwich was weird. Peel and eat shrimp are served cold, but really tasty. Servers were friendly. Atmosphere is fun casual and prices very reasonable
