I consider myself to be an amateur "FC" I have eaten real southern food from South Carolina to Louisiana, and in Hawai'i after living here for 8 months, I was disappointed at a lot of the eateries, recently my friend took me to the Dixie grill because they had Country Friend Steak and Collard Greens, I Loved it, I just loved that all the spices rolled off your palate in the Collards, and my country fried steak, even though in a crispy batter, rather then breaded batter, was perfectly made, I did not like the Mac and Cheese, but that was just me and my particular liking. I am going again to have the Catfish and the Ribs!
