Really cool place for kids to learn in a fun way! It needs sanitizer stations tho with all these kids running around!

Awesome good fun for the little one. I would recommend getting the membership.
Lot of cool stuff but it seemed like 1/3 of it didnt work
We came here for the first time with our 2 year old. We went on a recommendation and sadly it was so boring. My daughter liked it but only because they had the Doc Mcstuffins exhibit. Which was pretty unorganized. We just thought it wasn't worth it. Maybe it's not for my daughter's age group yet because we saw other older kids enjoying themselves. But either way I prefer to spend my money elsewhere and take her to somewhere fun like a zoo or aquarium. I know it's totally different types of entertainment but for the price we would have enjoyed any of the other two places rather than the Discovery Cube.
Very hands on , and perfect way to let the kids imagination run free.
Lots of fun! Food is expensive and SLOW! Three people working, 1 cook, 1 taking orders and 1 serving food/emptying trash (yes!) She did wash her hands tho. 30 min to get two personal pizzas.
2nd time coming and we love it. Dinosaur expo was awesome!
Fun activities & info for families, especially children!
Wonderful place to bring younger kids. Clean, friendly, and reasonably priced. It can get busy fast as large groups of school kids tend to have field trips here. I took my kids early and they had a blast.
Tons of exhibits that really grasped and tantalized their senses. Definitely check out what special exhibits they got going on beforehand and special admission prices.
Not what I was expecting... but didn't know really what it was about and the Museum was closed.
Great place for little kids. A lot of fun games and scientific toys around for them to play with and learn.
Very good to took kids to there I think around age 4-8 will be fun in here
Interesting place, not expensive and kids pay less and this kids can be 14 which its always a good thing not having to pay adult fare for 14 year olds
Various super cool and kid friendly science exhibits. Fun for kids and adults!
Fun experience for all, movies are $3 usd for non-members and $2usd for members.
Parking lot fills up quickly so get there early :)
It's a fun place with some great exhibits that teach a lot, but there isn't too much to keep the adults entertained so make sure you bring your kids/nieces and nephews.
First time. Loved it, lots of cool interactive fun.
Awesome place to take the Grandchildren. They are ages 4 and 8 and both had so much fun.
Great place to take the kiddos . specially during the bubble fest
Kids will love it .
Theres a special once a month for free entry to Museum . so worth it . inside is amazing kids get to see how recycling works and they to be part of .
My kids felt in love with the place .
We've live in the area for a few years now and always thought it was just a simple place. But no it's all the opposite . they have their own cafeteria and if you buy the pass you can Even go to the park right across the street and come back afterwards
Best place other than disney, very exiting and interesting place !
So much fun and interavtive activities for the kiddos.
Was really cool, small but simple and kids loved it
The place is too plain... only few things are interesting and the cafeteria staff is so not friendly....
Great place, go there with bofa card on first Sunday of the months
We had an absolutely terrible experience this weekend at the Cube. This was our first and last time going to this place. We get there about 20 minutes after opening and the line for tickets was at least 20 people deep and moving slowly because there was only ONE person selling tickets! How do you only staff one person on a weekend when everyone is going to be bringing their kids? Then we get inside and the current sponsored exhibit is the Doc McStuffin's one and the whole thing was a zoo. My poor kids couldn't even do anything in there it was such a mess. We tried to stay positive on moved onto other exhibits. But we kept having disappointment after disappointment from non-working touch screens, to missing items in exhibits, to both the Boeing and Bubbles be closed on a weekend. One of my daughters broke down crying she was so frustrated with it all! And the place was so out-dated and dirty! By far the worst the experience we have ever had taking out kids any where specifically designed for them!
It was a very big place with lots of fun interactive activities. But it got very very busy to the point of not being fun.
Very good place full of learning to enjoy with children.
Kids loved it! Lots of science based exhibits like Ruben H Fleet science center in San Diego.
Lots of fun hands on activities for kids of all ages. My toddler had a blast.
Parking was tough but did find a place fast. The young woman working the parking had a smile on her face and was so helpful. Kids had a good time wandering around and looking, touching, experiencing everything. Bummer the Dinosaur scavanger hunt wasn't working. It was crowded but we got to see almost everything we wanted to fast.
The paid parking lot is small, overflow is at mainplace mall aka: free parking. You may bring food in, there is a snack bar with healthy choices and some pretty taste pizza. Kids love the many activities and events they hold here each year as well. There is the dinosaur gospel game outside and rockets upstairs. Supermarket game, waste recycle competition, rocket lab. During the Christmas holiday season they have real snow with sledding in the parking lot and soapbox derby, they supply the edible car parts.
My 6yo and 2yo really enjoyed themselves. It was a little bit costly considering how young my two are - 2 yo was free but because she was with us, we really couldn't spend as much time to justify the cost. They won't let you upgrade an individual membership, which would have been the perfect solution even though we don't live close. However since my 2yo will be 3 the next time we can make it down, I just bought regular day passes for my older daughter and me. We may go ahead and buy a family membership next time. That pass is PERFECT for those who live nearby.
There are tons of exhibits, and plenty to do. Be prepared to be tired at the end, because there really aren't any places to sit and nurse or rest while your kids go crazy lol. We sat on the floor to do so, which was fine but not super comfortable.
Also of note for those who have an EBT card, they do not participate in the Museum's For All program that gives you discounted entry into museums so be prepared to pay full price.
This museum reminds me of a smaller (but still very nice) version of San Francisco huge "Exploratorium". An excellent place to take your kids to enjoy all kinds of "hands on" exhibits.
Very educational.Id say great for ages 3 and up. The smaller kids cant do much except for the foam blocks and sight see. Pricing is kind of up there but I suggest to try it at least once. They have a food court inside which is pricey. My boys loved the dinosaur outside and make your own rover.
Awesome place! Well worth the membership! BofA days are packed. Highly recommend a full day here and the family healthy cooking classes are awesome on the weekends!! 20 bucks for 4 people (not a huge meal for adults but enough for a child).
I think the entrance fee is a little to high for the lack of attractions inside, it's hard for my kids to interact with things when there is only so many in a room.
Great place to visit if you have kids 1-12 years old. During winter holidays they have Gingerbread competition display with so many beautiful kids (and adults!) creations. Be prepared to spend at least 3 hours for your first visit on just 1 floor - there are theater, Lego stations, water section, earthquake and dino sections, cafe on the first floor and don't forget about second floor!
It make sense to buy membership if you plan to visit museum.
Theater tickets is $2-4 for 10-15 minute video (they have 3, we saw about hurricane).
It's a kids' science museum. Better than average displays but super dirty.
My kids enjoyed their experience, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was not crowded.
Lots of good things here, but every time I turned around something wasn't working. The 3d movie had no sound, the seismograph didn't work, the seismic table didn't work, the constellations didn't work, the plane upstairs you couldn't seem to control, 1/3 of the screens in mission control were dark, and the Boeing center was closed altogether. If it was all working they would get 5 stars. Unfortunately for us, this was our only chance to go, being from MT.
I bought the family pass the first time we went. First, I really appreciate how you can apply the cost of that days tickets towards your annual pass after trying it out as long as you do so before you leave that day. There is lots to do that entertains the kids. Easy to go spend 1-2 hours to get the kids out. Also appreciate the rotating exhibits. Oh, ya and the annual pass is good to all 3 locations, convenient much.
Took my son here and he had a blast. He's only 3, so he was a little limited in everything he could do, but he still loved it. It's a little pricy though, so look for coupons.
This place is very fun and educational for kids and adults alike. My daughter loved the dinosaur exhibit.
Awesome and educational family fun! My kids are always thrilled when ever w get to go!
Great place for children! Rotating exhibits so they can be entertained year round. By the 2-year annual pass deal, totally worth it.
Great for kids, great exhibits! Wish more displays were functioning and in working order.
We renew our membership year bc this is one of my son's most favorite places. Worth paying for the annual parking pass for this specific location. Even worth the drive thru LA/OC traffic. We went down for the superheroes exhibit - the Justice League one - more than 10 times and it felt like first time every time. It was perfect for my little one who always trvels with his superman and batman capes!
We also love Bean Sprouts Cafe-- my personal faves being the chicken pesto sandwhich w side salad and their mango pineapple smoothie! So nice they got a Large size.
Recommend getting the yearly memberships, you get access to all events and discounts at restaurant and gift shop
Their 3D movies are not 3D, but you can't expect much for $3
It's sort of funny that they give you glasses.
Left and right are the exact same shot, they simply show post processed 2D movies, not 3D at all.
Our little granddaughter had a good time there, no special events going then though...
My girls (ages 3 & 4) exclaimed, "that was fun!" after spending 3 hours of non stop play!
Absolutely recommend bringing your kids! So much fun, so much to explore and read and tons of hands on activities as well as a mini grocery store, cooking classes, mini movie theaters and great healthy snacks. The pizza is delicious! Just a tip, DO NOT bring a stroller!
For the kids it's great. For the adult it's pretty cool you can still learn some stuff. It's clean, friendly staff, and the food is good.
Lots to see and learn about. Kids always have fun when they go but they do tend to go to their favorites than learn about some of the lesser interactive things.
Fun and inexpensive place to take kids. Entirely interactive and play based. Great learning experience
This place is very educational for kids of all ages. My 7 year old had fun and learned about different things. It was just so packed with people that you had to wait in lines to do any of the different activities for hands on learning. It was worth it and my daughter had fun. If you have young children I definitely recommend this place for some educational fun.
Parts of the museum were closed off. Several attractions did not work. They use to give the aaa discount at the window but now they require you to bring a coupon from the aaa office. The food court is expensive. However my 2 year old had a blast and loved all of the hand-on activities.
Fantastic spot. Will definitely take the munchkin back when he's older!
It's a fine science museum - not as crowded as the one in LA (California Science Center), but not a favorite like Cal Academy in SF. I'll be interested to visit the Ocean Science version.
