This is an awesome interactive kids museum! Love this place. If you have kids, take them here.
This is an awesome interactive kids museum! Love this place. If you have kids, take them here.
Great place to take the kids and enjoy the day. A fun time of learning.
Great place for little kids! Better than local parks, and educational too!
Nice place to visit, but for 5 years or younger, Depends on what they have.
I expected more from the Discover Cube. this place is very small. Unless you're there when they have a cool exhibit going on, there wont be too much to do here.
I have been to many discovery centers, and this one is very sad. Beside the outdated and boring exhibits.
Overpriced and not worth the money.!!! And you have to pay for parking! I will never go back, was not worth the time or money.
Small yet fun. Lots of interactive areas for kids to learn and play. Health conscience food court and kids learning kitchen.
Great for taking the little ones. Food there is good too.
There are a lot of card offers! Suitable for elementary school students and very hot summer! But there will be no parking space for late arrivals!
Great for the kids! They had fun while learning and using energy! Great place!
Great place for kids from toddler to teen/preteen. For younger kids, it's super fun and the older kids will learn a lot. We are members, so I love the rotating exhibits; keeps things fresh. The only bummer is that parking is always a pain but it's a small price to play for such a cool museum right in the middle of Orange County.
Decent price
Somewhat crowded
Staff really just "hangs" out doesn't really interact
Not worth doing any type of yearly pass
Because there is not enough things to do
You can do the entire place in one day
The rock climbing was out of service the day we went
And other features that we had seen on line where no longer available which was a total let down
We bought a 2 year family pass for the Bubblefest and laser show. It has definitely been worth the price! The membership also allows you to visit the other 2 Discovery centers they own in LA/Newport Beach and other museums that are 90 miles away for free or a discount. We take advantage of this when we travel for the year. I recommend purchasing the parking pass also since there is not much parking near the Discovery Cube. The first time we went we did not have the pass so we parked down the street at a restaurant but, I did not like having to walk with my kids over an overpass. This place is very big and my kids mainly enjoyed the shopping and the outdoor rocket. The Bubblefest and laser show was so fun for my 7 and 9 year year old girls and they loved all the exhibits there. They also enjoyed playing with bubbles after the show and we hope to do it again next year during March. They had so much fun that we didn't get a chance to even see half the Discovery Cube so we returned on Memorial day weekend to see the Dinosaurs and take a healthy cooking class. We enjoyed the cooking lesson and even ate all the burrito we cooked. This class allows 4 people to a station but an adult has to be there to help the younger ones with the cooking. Another good thing about this place is that they serve healthy food also.
Lots of learning fun! Well worth the drive up from San Diego.
This is a great place to take kids as it's educational and fun. My kids especially enjoyed the eco shopping activity. Good for at least 2 hours of fun.
Is really good for all the family, and my daughter is a volunteer here.
this is the second time we have been to discovery cube, the 6 yr old grand kids had a good time. a child proof place , heavy duty buttons for exhibits, the dinosaur exhibit is designed for little kids being kids. went in afternoon when no school groups were there . no wait for kids to experience the exhibits
My family and I have a two year family pass that we use all the time. Great place to spend the afternoon!
We love this place and just had to become members. We absolutely love attending all the special member events they are so much fun. Our kids always leave super excited and can't wait to go back again. Just an overall amazing place.
kids love all the hands on activities! great place to learn and explore for my kids ages 3 to 9!
Always great to go to and the kids love it. But, PARKING is horrible!
For people with disabilities or other difficulties getting around it is a big inconvenience. Parking should be improved.
Excellent place for kids to have fun and learn about the wonderful world of science at the same time.
I wonder why ppl go here when California Science Center a much bigger and free entry place in LA is available. Waste of money
Great place to take kids. Lots of hands on displays and exhibits.
Alot of fun. But you have to buy separate tickets for some things. I think it should be included as it is not cheap to go..
Kind of like the Chuck-E-Cheese of museums. Everything's broken and slightly grimy.
Visited with grandson and his parents. Have been before.
Best place for families and they have Dippin' Dots!!!
It's really fun but they need to change exhibits more.
I have been there in 3 grade and I am going again on Friday
Our 8 and 3 year-olds loved this museum, which had many indoor hands-on exhibits and an interesting outdoor dinosaur playground with a wand waving fossil hunt. We also did the winter wonderfest that had a half dozen snow attractions or tube runs. The food was also surprisingly good for a children's museum. My kids spent a lot of time in the eco-shopping exhibit.
Lots of family fun, sparks the imagination. Second parking lot directly across the street is much faster on peak times
Great place for family time, parking sucks big time, some of the exhibits needs to be updated but over all the place it's good for the kids that are attracted to science at any level
Great place to bring the kids and get out of the house for the day. If you go on a weekday you are guaranteed to have school groups coming so plan on going in the afternoon after they leave.
Always have a blast here! My kids love it and i love that's is free every first Tuesday of every month!!!
Parking was easy and time to time they have different event for kids
Everytime we visit the cube we learn new and interesting information! The older exhibits are just as fun as the newest ones that come along every few months. We love it here and try to make it every week!
This is best museum for kids in Orange County. With countless displays and helpful staff, children both young and old can roam around and experience interactive displays that have a goal to educate. If you learn something great, but if not, it s still a lot of fun. In the past, we have had a family year pass and this was an exceptional value.
During Bubblefest. The event was very good. The handling of parking was very bad!
Letting people park in a firelane and in front of the Cube with hazards on only led to everyone doing it and soon you only had one way in with no way to exit except by having traffic stopped to let you out!
Management needs to do a better job with traffic control and not simply have one person walk back and forth and letting people do things they shouldn't be doing!
One call to the police department would have shut the place down and god forbid if there was ever an accident or a fire did breakout it would become a deathtrap...
I love all the exhibits they have at the discovery cube. The Bubble Fest was so much fun. Highly recommend going.
Spent the whole day here. Should get the annual membership, only $40 more for the whole family.
Fun place for small kids.
Especially liked their grocery market with their in built activities to help kids learn the process of calculating, problem solving, communicating and much more!
The Dinosaur exhibit is great! Only here till September 18'
Science!!!
Learning!!!
Fun!!!
It's decent. Exhibits closed. Not so clean. Squeaky elevators.
Nice place to take your little ones for a few hours (2-3 hours) after that not much to do
This place is bigger than the Los Angeles one and has more that you can do. There are a bunch of interactive stations as well as a jockey and dinosaur exhibition. Parking isn't free and costs $6. Well worth the visit, especially if you have kids under 3 since they are free.
Amazingly inefficient getting people parked and paid to enter the museum
Great science center that my family visited on vacation. Some of the areas we weren't too interested in but all-in-all I was happy we went.
This is for more customized for little kids, toddler to 2nd grade.
Great venue for the entire family! We brought our two boys age 2 and 4. We arrived at this museum at 11 and stayed til 2pm on a rainy Sunday. There was definitely enough to fill 3 quality hours of family time. We attempted to find discount coupons, but everything we found was expired. For a family our family, we paid $46 which we felt was a good value for the quality of venue. The exhibits were informative and presented well. The staff was ample, facility was clean and patrons were generally courteous. Other kids were for the most part respectful and good at sharing at the exhibit stations. We would like to return when they complete the addition. Parking was $5 and there really were not any other close options available.
It was an interesting experience for most kids to enjoy. When we went the air conditioner didn't seem like it was turned high enough to enjoy and the restrooms were too warm. The exhibits were well maintained, put together, and were very engaging. Glad my two year old could participate in some of the activities and engage his little mind.
A lot of displays, several broken like parts of dinosaurs. Some closed to public for various reasons. Lion king good. All very interesting and educational.
Could use some maintenance and updating. Not bad, but not with $20.
Great time had by all. My special kid is 12 now and still has a blast-maybe more now than ever!
Awesome place with interactive exhibits that rotate every few months so each visit offers something new. Definitely worth getting the annual passes.
Enjoyed Bubblefest. Daughters were ecstatic. Definitely will come back.
Take your kids here and they'll enjoy and explore many new things
The cooking classes are fun for the kids. The food is great.
There are plenty of exhibits for all ages. As an adult I learned a couple of things myself. I went on a Saturday morning and it was packed. You may want to go on a weekday.
love this place we do the annual membership they change there theme every season my 3 year old love it most of all
Great place to take the kids, very helpful staff, and fun, rotating exhibits.
Do you wonder how you feel with historical earhquakes vibration, or the gemini stars group...ok , after now , you know the place in which you can find tham all and so forth..
I used to love this place but it isn t the same. It is so packed and it doesn t have too much stuff to do. Alot of exhibits were shut down and it looked like its gone a little downhill. I don t think it s worth the price if you don t go in a group.
It was good to have a lot to experience. Scientific approach is novel and it was beneficial because there are many things that are not in Korea.
Great place for kids to learn science concepts in a relaxed environment. Works as a great jumping off point - see what they are interested in and then get some books to learn more. The Cube is usually less crowded weekdays after 2:00 pm.
This place it at least a 3 day visit to get the full experience and appreciation of what it has to offer. My kids had a wonderful time going through all the setups. the scientific demos, the play areas, the video experience, and especially the mock shopping engagement at a general store. I would recommend getting the family membership and try out the other sites that offer their unique experience to the kids. It was well worth the visit and would recommend keeping an eye out for their special/seasonal offerings. A great educational investment for kids that is not limited by weather fluctuations.
For being an educational museum for both children and adults
Would have been nice if the Boeing Jet Propulsion Lab was open, but it was closed on 9/4/17.
