I bought the family pass the first time we went. First, I really appreciate how you can apply the cost of that days tickets towards your annual pass after trying it out as long as you do so before you leave that day. There is lots to do that entertains the kids. Easy to go spend 1-2 hours to get the kids out. Also appreciate the rotating exhibits. Oh, ya and the annual pass is good to all 3 locations, convenient much.
