My 6yo and 2yo really enjoyed themselves. It was a little bit costly considering how young my two are - 2 yo was free but because she was with us, we really couldn't spend as much time to justify the cost. They won't let you upgrade an individual membership, which would have been the perfect solution even though we don't live close. However since my 2yo will be 3 the next time we can make it down, I just bought regular day passes for my older daughter and me. We may go ahead and buy a family membership next time. That pass is PERFECT for those who live nearby.

There are tons of exhibits, and plenty to do. Be prepared to be tired at the end, because there really aren't any places to sit and nurse or rest while your kids go crazy lol. We sat on the floor to do so, which was fine but not super comfortable.

Also of note for those who have an EBT card, they do not participate in the Museum's For All program that gives you discounted entry into museums so be prepared to pay full price.
