This was a very interesting Hotel it was beautiful and it was right on the beach down Hollywood Florida I really enjoyed myself I would go again check it out it's a little expensive but really nice

This is an amazing facility with incredible service. You can come here for a fancy conference or bring your family and walk around in flip flops all day and some this place just makes it work.

I'm currently staying here and when i went to get ice the machine had BLACK MOLD over the chute the ice came out. So I checked 3 other floors and they had the same thing. [I took pictures]. Safe to assume every floor will have the same BLACK MOLD on the ice machine they want me to make my drinks out of. I had the breakfast buffet this morning. I looked things over as I walked in. Our server took forever for every task. Took 15 minutes for an omelet with only 2 people ahead of me which was undercooked. I observed they only added to the other plates of food, never getting rid of the old food that had been sitting there the entire 45 minutes I had been there. They tried to upgrade rooms for me to a king suite and promised the pull out was comfortable. I get in the room and you can feel the bar in your back. My mother forgot her purse in the other room so she asked the front desk to open the room to get it as they told her to just wait by the room. 35 minutes it took someone to come assist her. The jets in the one hot tub don't work. The first day that we arrived someone's room service tray sat in the hallway 23 hours. The elevators have trash in them about everytime I get on one. I read good reviews about this place but after 2 days I am horrified. I upgraded rooms to find I have rusty nasty shower head and for some odd reason there is a phone next to the toilet that hasn't been properly cleaned possibly ever. They have contacted me and are trying to make things right for things that should never take place at any hotel yet one of this class. I will stay posted on the outcome.

It's a great place to stay and also to have business meetings. Rooms are pretty nice and regular size, food it's all right, the whole hotel facilities are according to the price and service is good and fast. Tips are Not included.
"Death by a thousand cuts". It's a lovely hotel by design. But the execution is fatally flawed due to a lack of attention to detail. "The water bottles in the room are free to Hhonors members"... except there are no water bottles in the room. "Yes there should be bathrobes in the room. Not yours? Ok, we'll send some up. " There's a laundry ticket but no laundry bag. Somedays there were extra towels, some days too few. The sheets didn't quite get to the bottom end of the bed. The various trendy restaurants have essentially no options for non-meat-eaters, and there are no nearby walkable alternatives. I could go on. But for the price, in a resort hotel that stresses its recent $100 million renovation and proudly displays the Hilton Curio Collection nameplate, I'd expect a little more consistency.
This is a beautiful resort that you should bring your family to. I highly recommend it!

Terrible housekeeping staff...
Yes this is an overpriced and overated hotel, but the housekeeper LEAH is the worst. Completely rude and not accommodating at. This lasted for the ENTIRE WEEKEND. If you ask for an extra towel: "I don't have any". Need a plastic bag for your dirty clothes? "I don't have one". There wasn't anything that we asked for and received.
Expensive but good location. Need to clean beach daily from kelp and seaweed that washes ashore. No excuse for this not to occur on daily basis. The amount they charge for rooms and resort charge more than ample to take care of beach in front of their property.

but pricey $46pp @ buffet. Extra $35-$45 daily for parking. Also, resort fee daily is $30. entitles you to lawn chair & towel set up. Umbrella on beach is $20 extra.
Horrible experience, they never told us the hotel is under construction, they charge us for partial view room and we get a close window with another building in front. The pool area is under construccion too what means its a mess everywhere. But they are charging a regular price, the result we check in and out in 20 mnts, and..... never again!!!!!!
All around amazing hotel, from rooms and service, to the pool, beach and view. Also have awesome restaurants and bars!! Highly recommended!!!
Very nice hotel, the rooms are very comfortable and new, the service is good and the breakfast excellent. What I did not like is the little control that is in the pools, there were people who did not belong to the hotel playing with ball from one side of the pool to the other without taking into account the children who were nearby or the people who wanted to spend . Nobody tells you anything

The kids were happy all day, the guys switched to watch the game to another pool which the kids enjoyed including the slides..

Such a beautiful resort from arriving to the entrance to inside how amazing this place is. Friendly staff, the restaurants on site are phenomenal. Very overpriced in food but delicious. I recommend Monkitail first then Prime. If by pool side try Playa restaurant.
My sister and I met at The Diplomat for a girls weekend. We loved the ambiance and decor of the lobby, our room (canal view with balcony), the spa, and the pool zones. Sometimes Hilton resorts feel like hotels...this one did not disappoint!! My husband and sister are both Hilton Diamond, so we always stay with his brand when possible. The Diplomat joins The Casitas (Fajardo, PR), The Roosevelt (New Orleans), and The Palmer House (Chicago) on our list of favs. We spent an afternoon in the spa and loved every second. The staff pampered us like crazy and the organic product offerings did not disappoint. Plus, walking beneath a wreath of greenery to enter this haven? Perfect!! The ocean was red flag rough due to storms at sea, but we walked miles along the beach and enjoyed the three pools. By dividing the pool space, The Diplomat manages to decrease the sense of crowdedness even when the resort is bustling. Our breakfasts in the cafe were wonderful - Steele cut oats with blueberries, fancy coffees, and smoothies made to our (sometimes picky) requests. Thank you to the cafe staff! The concierge did not disappoint with shopping and restaurant suggestions. My sister is strict vegan and Charlie gave us AMAZING options (we love Charlie). Try Screaming Carrots (we used Grub Hub for delivery...twice!). Check-in and check-out were easy breezy with friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff. We declined housekeeping/linen swap for our stay (save the oceans!) and realized this hotel not only asks that you do that (let s be honest, it saves them $$), but they incentivize the choice by offering daily $5 food vouchers if you do it. Go Hilton! Our only complaint is that the restaurant we would have enjoyed visiting (Monkitail) is high-end but offers no customization of menu items. When the local $10/dish place and, well, Pizza Hut, can manage that, it is sad to see a gourmet position that refuses. The hype has surpassed the food-focus, I suppose. That one was a bummer. Otherwise STAY HERE! PLAY HERE! RELAX HERE! Two thumbs up.
Had my honeymoon here and it was perfect! We rented a cabana the one that is lower deck pool side with the tv in it and it was perfect! Pool was super warm and cozy me and my new wife didn t want to get out of the pool it was soo nice! We decided if we want to do another trip down to Miami this is the hotel we will stay at!

Great hotel with nice rooms--had a king balcony on the 28th floor partial ocean. Partial ocean facing south was still an amazing view. Loved the pool. Loved the beach. Loved the hotel.

Watch for the valet parking. Our rental car was damaged while parked....
First off the valet was good and fast. We were attending the icon awards. Where the Estebans were getting awarded. The food was very good, they had a lot of people picking up, the bar tenders were great also

Amazing!!!!! My room oceanfront balcony room was spacious and pristine. The pools are gorgeous and you can get to the beach from the resort. Anytime I m in Fort Lauderdale, this is where I m staying. That staff is always polite and accommodating to the best of their ability. There s even a couple restaurants on the resort so you never have to leave.

Room and service were both great and the staff were all very friendly. Not really sure how they justify charging in-flight prices for WiFi in TYOOL 2018 unfortunately.

I felt as if i were amongst my own family and was treated with respect the entire visit! Everyone was so beautiful inside and out, including all the staff! The views and environment seemed so familiar but in an oddly strange and magical way. It was a 5 star amazing time with my boyfriend as always.

Nice hotel in a beautiful area. Unfortunately the pool attendants are not very friendly. They seem to think it is far more important to govern use of the towels and chairs than providing good service.
Everything in the resort is very pricey as well. Some additional cost is to be expected, but their markup is exorbitant!

They upcharge and will double charge you on everything and then act like it was an accident they did it when you catch them. They also fail to inform you on what is apart of your package so you end up paying for what should have been free.
We found false phone bills on our check out bill, who even uses hotels phones these days to make outside calls, plus an additional $30.00 a day hotel fee that was hidden in the fine print.
I had to go to the cafe and pay $5 for a bottle water only to find out we were supposed to be getting 2 a day in our room for free but we never did.
The security guard sitting at the beach entrance suddenly decided after 4 days of only requirering the wristband the hotel gave us for when we went out on the beach that everyone now also needed to show their hotel key too. They were very rude to us when we only had 1 key to show for two of us.
The food is very poor, so much so I d rather be hungry than eat anything there again. The drinks are crazy expensive, $18.00 for a tiny margarita that wasn t much bigger than a Dixie cup.
The staff was rude, I went to ask the front desk a question when they weren t busy and were just chatting amongst themselves. I was told I could just call them with any questions. So I went back to my room and tried calling them, multiple times but no one ever answered.
The actual rooms weren t any better than any cheap or regular hotels.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NO ONE WAIST THEIR MONEY OR RUIN THIER VACATION BY STAYING HERE!

If you are thinking about to spend your vacation at this hotel do not doub it.Yesterday was our thirth time there and this hotel is incredible beautiful along with the customer service,wich is the best,specially Arshineka Brown, the girl in the front desk,who can recognized us even when our last visit was 1 year ago,she is so sweet and professional.In the hotel everything is perfectly clean,the scenary you can have is amazing.Our likelihood to recomend this hotel to a friend is extremely high.thank you diplomat for this experience.
Beautiful high-rise beachfront resort. Good restaurants, pools, and views! Parking rates are steep- cheaper to park in a residential area and Uber here.
Excellent place for events. They are well equipped for large conferences of thousands of participants.
Very nice hotel, although it is pricey. Was here for a conference so didn't use much of the on site amenities, but the room on the 28th floor was very nice. Worst desk chair ever though: maybe they don't expect you to spend any time actually working at the desk!

Cross the street Visa the pedestrian bridge to get to somewhat more reasonably priced dining. If you want good beer it is a couple of a mile drive to The Yard Club.
If the price is acceptable I would definitely recommend staying here.
We had a great time! The place is just beautiful! Are those palm trees in the lobby fake? I must say, we were very impressed. Food in the hotel is amazing, staff is very helpful. We will be back for sure.
I went to the spa this past weekend with my boyfriend as a couples massage for our anniversary I will have to say overall my experience was unpleasant compared to other spas that I have been at. The massage I got was good but the customer service was bad. I asked to avoid my hands because I have blisters from burning my hands and my massage therapist said "let's see if I remember because my massage steps are a routine." I don't think that's the right answer you give to a client that is asking for that kind of request. Then I forgot to take off my necklace so when she started my massage she told me she was probably not going to be able to massage my neck correctly due to the necklace still being on. I went on to say I'm sorry that I had just forgot to take it off and that she could take it off if she wanted to. She ignored me and continued the service. Then last which to me was what made this experience one of the WORST was when it was time to turn over on the bed I didn't realize I was so above the bed that when I flipped I put all the weight of my head on the head rest and it made a noise and slightly came off it initial position. I apologized of course and my massage therapist made such a big deal about it and said "Oh my gosh you broke my head rest" (which she said a few times) and even went as far as saying I thought you have gotten a massage before, why would you do that. This was the last straw that was so rude I clearly didn't do it on purpose it was just that my perception on where I was on the bed was off. The way she handled the situation was unprofessional and killed the Zen vibe for being such a high end venue. I have to say one of my worst massage experience I have ever had.
