The room was impeccable. Great decor very modern and a really good parking garage.

The Diplomat is a very luxurious hotel. The bedroom I stayed in was awesome, with the best ocean view. The staff was also polite and helpful.
However..... There's a catch. In addition to all that I paid to stay here for 8 days, when I got to the hotel they charge you a $26/day parking fee AND $26/day hotel fee (which is for the use of the hotel's amenities... You'd think it would be included in what you already paid... Guess not). That means that whatever you paid for your hotel add $52/day to that. IN ADDITION, they add another $25/day hold that is credit back to you after you check out.... But in any case that's about $75/day hold in your card... In my case I had to pay an extra $600 a week.
With that in mind, I believe I could've stayed in a better hotel on the same strip. Or at least had I know this, I would've research more options.

This place is amazing! They will close the outside bar a little quick if no one is around which is a bummer is hanging by the pool in the evening.

If no stars were available I would use that, my girl friend and I just left the hotel. Got horribly sick from the food. I personally had 2 wines, and a free shot from a shot girl, and I am a drinker, made me pass out immediately like something was in it. The food at playa is usually decent but we had shrimp that were completely frozen. On top of everything the guy working the cabanas by the beach not mentioning names must have a side business going on trying to sale cabanas at the end of the day for a hundred dollars. We are Hilton honors members, just spend thousands at another hotel in Miami for the holiday, came here because we liked it last time. This time it was horrible, please check prices and beware, it s not worth what you pay for

Be prepared for those $9 beers and no Miller Lite and they do offer a $20 cheeseburger

Great hotel beautiful lobby but the pool was under construction. It wasn't as good as i thought it would be.

Great location with a beautiful view. BUT.... the food is just ok and way overpriced for the quality . Service is so so. Not going back

Be careful with the prices offered, read the fine print, they use false price marketing, since at check in they charge you 26 dollars per day for the internet for 2 welcome waters, 2 chairs on the beach and a few more items. The pool is excellent, the restaurant prices expensive like any 5-star hotel. The vallet parking you can save 8 dollars per day if you park it yourself, otherwise it is worth 41 dollars per day. The pool is open 24 hours as well as the gym, it is a family hotel, not designed for young people. We were never informed of everything included in the aforementioned, also you have to add a hotel tax per day of 3 usd.

Great weekend getaway. Everything on site. No need to venture off property.

No free Wi-Fi in rooms. Seems a bit stingy for the amount of money paid to stay here. Beautiful place.

What an amazingly made hotel!!!!!! I went to a a private birthday party for TK Kirkland pre Netflix special at Nokku inside the Moneytail restaurant and that party was upscale and diverse. As far as the hotel ......... this is a Hilton property so you know that service it great! I like the fact this property is modern but still natural.

Right on the water obviously. The lobby was very nice and fed right into a standout water park area. I was there on business and didn't have time to enjoy the water, but overall a very nice facility.

Great place for drinks and catching up with friends

Nice hotel, but way over priced. Ongoing construction means most balconies are closed so you can't open the door and enjoy the view. Unless you have money to burn for a mediocre experience I'd look elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel, relaxing environment & great service.

Stayed here for business. Property was beautiful. Rooms big, clean and modern. Service was great. View from balconies were breath taking. I had a city view. Staff was very attentive. Hotel is under renovations.

I love it here, the place is very beautiful, the pool is absolutely stunning, stuff is a little pricy though.

I stayed at The Diplomat Beach Resort during the Super Bowl weekend.

Already when I got there I had problems, because of an event there was traffic chaos. When I asked on arrival if I was right here at HILTON's, there was a shrug. The employees didn't seem to know that the house belongs to HILTON.

The room was in an unacceptable condition, lamps were defective, the coffee facilities were not there and the TV was initially defective.

For the extremely high price a very bad service.

The feedback afterwards from the "Front of House Manager" was rather ridiculous, they hope for another visit.

The prices in the house shop for the drinks are also exorbitantly high.

I will probably not live there anymore.

Fantastic staff. Gorgeous beach and outdoor pool area. Vast convention center. Spectacular event venue. Unfortunately can't give 5 stars due to the outsourcing of the valet. It's a different company than The Diplomat and it shows. They mistreat their staff, turn over is high, service is awful, employees are bitter. Worst part is your first and last impression of The Diplomat is the valet service so you might not leave happy.

Wow! They really took good care of us and the property is BEAUTIFUL. Can't wait to go back!

It was the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff was mostly helpful. I loved the beach, pool, and room. It was under construction for the last 3 days we were there so we did not get to enjoy a couple of the shops and had to walk far to get to the parking garage (which you had to pay for) and to the pool/beach. The pool was a little dirty since there was so much partying going on for the 4th. The accessible chair into the pool broke and so my husband was stuck in the pool for 2 hours until we pulled him out. (I had notified 3 staff before anyone did anything to try and fix it. We were placed in a room with a non accessible bathroom, and since it wasn't ready on time for check-in we didn't realize it until 11pm. Which was annoying since I had already unpacked everything. I really did enjoy my stay for the most part. There were just a few inconveniences due to my husband's handicap.

Beautiful room and great staff. Went here for a conference and was very impressed by the facility.

This place as Valet service for 39$ a day or self parking for 30$ a day. The valet will ask you if you will need your car often (I said no but I guess if you say yes they will direct you to self parking). Check in was very good and not too long. We checked in early and 45 minutes later we got a text that our room was ready. They offer free bottle of water when we check in a very nice gesture. Pool area very clean and there was plenty of towel around the pool. The 2 pool are not eated enough for the holiday maybe around 80. There is a lot of area in the lobby to seat around and wait for your room or read a book. Once we got to our room it is very nice with a beautifull view. But the room was not 100% clean the floor was not vacuum correctly we could feel and see stuff on the floor. We also called for more sheet for the kids we had to call 3 times and wait over 1 hour to get them to our room. The staff is very nice and polite and smiling. We wanted to eat at the sushi restaurent in the 1 of the year but it was close. I would give it a 4.5 but it's not available.

I stayed there for two nights after coming back from Key West, and before flying back home.
The beach is amazing, with clear water and a great view. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to use any of the pools, but they looked nice. However, they could greatly benefit by having an adults only pool. The staff was friendly and efficient which was good because they were busy with the convention they were hosting.

I went there for a gala and everything was amazing.

One of the best resort I have every stayed at but expensive

Me and my family stayed at multiple hotels on our trip to Florida. This was definitely the best one we stayed at. The service was fantastic and the amenities were very nice. The pool has a lifeguard until sunset but it's still open for use 24/7. We were able to do a night swim in both the pool and the hot tub. From the pool area, it is only steps to the beach. The rooms themselves were very nice and clean. The rainfall showers were a nice touch. While staying at the hotel we ended up eating at their Steakhouse and it was fantastic. Although fairly expensive, the steak was worth it as it was some of the best steak I've ever had.

The best place to stay in Hollywood. Right on the beach. Numerous pools. Staff are wonderful. I'd stay here everytime. Good steaks right on site

Very impressed by the diplomat. The rooms, relative to other rooms i've stayed in in comparable resorts, were extremely large - particularly the bathroom. The rooms spelled good once we checked in.

the resort offers a lot of on location restaurants such as diplomat prime and monkitail. Both were extremely good and must-trys. The resort offered really impressive cabanas in the pool area, that were fully equipped with TVs and furniture. the pool area was impressively large, and the resort had a great, expansive beach.

Great location, very friendly staff, and the renovations are gorgeous. It's pricey, but what do you expect at a place like this, I guess.

The fitness center is not in very good shape at all (too hot, no towels or disinfecting wipes). The touch screens on half of the machines don't even work.

The hotel was nice, location was great. The pools.... which I didn't get to use since I was there for a conference... were really nice. Dining was not ideal - not really any healthy food options within walking distance, which was a shame. My room was clean and comfortable, but the ocean view was so-so (angled windows without a balcony, and if I looked straight out my window, I saw the hotel next door vs the ocean). Still, all in all, it was a great stay, with a welcoming staff and great amenities.

great hotel and staff. After my flight was cancelled they made us feel very welcome, apart from when someone from their staff tried to kick some of us out of our rooms in the late hours (10-12pm) so they could sell more rooms.

This is an amazing hotel. It has beautiful decor. The rooms were clean, the people there were nice and knowledgeable. We had lunch by the pool and had amazing fish tacos. We will definitely be back, this time for a longer stay.

Room wasnt ready at 4, and they Never called to let me know when it was ready Vers slow pool Service and it wasnt busy, besides that it was fine.

Nice place, only stopped by to see a friend for a bit but damn their prices are high in the convience store. I wanted some fruit and a mixed fruit cup was $9!!

The hotel is nice but the front desk staff is completely rude. Management does not care much about customer service to Hilton loyal members. If I'm paying over $200/nt., I should have better customer service. When I decided to not stay and checked out (10 min after checking in) the staff didn't even ask why or if they could help. Oh yeah, but said as a courtesy they wouldn't charge me the cancellation fee. Really?

Food at the restaurants is good but WAY over priced. Really nice resort but they stick it to you with extra charges like 30.00 resort fee and 30.00 per night parking. Not happy about that.

After priceline botched so many things with my reservation and has had me so upset, I called Marcellus at this hotel and was treated so well and he resolved my issue within minutes. I cannot say enough good things about Marcellus and his attention to his customers. I literally have called priceline every day for a resolution since the 21st of July about my botched reservations and Marcellus fixed my problem within minutes. Marcellus, if you read this, I just want to say that the Hollywood Diplomat Resort is so lucky to have you and I cannot wait to do business with you in the future. You are committed to customer service and making things right. I hope you are recognized and appreciated for all that you do! Thanks for turning a nightmare with priceline into a trip I can look forward to in the future.

Best view ever. Pool next to beach. what else do you need?

It has an excellent service and very good facilities.

It was my best experience. Hotel at the beach. The rooms the ambience. The lounges ... Awesome.

It's a beautiful hotel staffed by some of the most miserable people I've ever encountered.

Went for a convention. The beach was great, and the service was acceptable, but I had to spend most of my time inside. The time that I did have available to go outside, they had the beach gate closed so we couldn't get out there (at least not in the conventional way), and they kicked us out of the pool after I just got in it at 11:45.

We had the same convention there 2 years ago, and everything seemed a lot nicer. We were able to go on the beach, swim in the pool all night, then go to our rooms when we were ready, not when we were told.

Great hotel in a wonderful location on the beach. Service was amazing and everything was super clean. Wonderful place to entertain kids.
Food and drinks are really expensive so I would suggest using the golf cart service and eat in downtown Hollywood Beach or on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk.
