Very comfortable .. ocean view and access to the pool and beach very easy ..

Stayed over night for sons birthday. Everything was great. My only complaint is that the water playground for children was full of ride 20 year olds that acted above the rules because they didn't speak English.

Beautiful hotel with great customer service. The food has been good as well. I had room service for dinner from Point Royal and also had breakfast there.

So yes, this hotel is amazing. Know that it's also pricey.

Beautiful property right on the beach. Great stay but the employees aren't very welcoming or nice. Outside of that the ocean view from my room, the beach, the pool, the food at Point Royal.....exquisite and delicious. If I could change the attitude of the employees here....it would have made this visit 5 star! Establishments need to take heed that everyone making assumptions about their guests is the absolute wrong thing to do!!!!

Beautiful, renovated hotel directly on the beach with multiple restaurants and pools on site.

The Diplomat is located right on Hollywood beach, pay the extra for the ocean view balcony room it's really relaxing to be able to step outside your room and hear and see the waves. All the service staff are very friendly and helpful. There are 10 different dining options on site and the few I have tried were very good. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I'd definitely consider coming back for another stay.

Bad because there was no stay we had reserved 3 rooms to celebrate 15 of my granddaughter and when we arrived we were to the unpleasant surprise that the hotel was closed and they did not send us any notice about this and although there is a pandemic the rest of the hotels were open I consider it like a very nasty hoax

Nice hotel overall. Great for families that don't want to leave the hotel during their stay because there really isn't anywhere to venture that is close by.

The service was great and the people could not have been nicer.

The diplomat never fails to keep the essence of South Florida alive. The people are top notch. However, don't forget some cash for the bell men because if you only give him a dollar you dig out of a bag and tell him you will bring cash to him later, you will be verbally assaulted. I wouldn't see this as bad in the hotel. It was my mistake this time.

The attention is first, the staff very attentive but has clauses that do not say when booking the room, with the price charged for the stay they also charge the $ 40 per day parkeo that should be included and 40 more for access to the pool. that does not apply knowing that it is a summer hotel and to justify they give you 4 coins to exchange for a bottle of water

One of my favorite hotels in SoFlo. My wife and I stayed here after our wedding. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the pool is amazing.

This was an amazing hotel, but super unorganized. We waited 30 min in valet line and then waited over an hour for our car. Had at least a dozen ppl upset at the valet. We talked to the manager 2 times and he could care less. If u do go here, don't let the idiots at the valet touch ur car.

Food Expensive, no music except that hotel music. This place could be great, but this the way management likes it, blah.

Amazing!! We stayed here a week and are looking forward to go back. Service was really good, the restaurant amazing (we tried the 3 of them, all very different but all as good. I love sushi and their monkey restaurant have one of the best sushi in town) the views are breathtaking, pools perfect and a nice jacuzzi that at the evening is usually empty. Definitely a place to stay!

I used to enjoy going to this place. I went every month for 5 days. i would spend money as it was pretty overpriced. Now it is so expensive it's not even worth it! The prices are so ridiculous that I rather spend the money and go to a nicer location than Hollywood. Don't spend this kind of money to go to Hollywood, Florida at a Hilton Hotel. Go to Turks and Caicos and spend your money in a really nice place that's worth it!

Amazing. Simply awesome. Especially for large groups. Restaurants are good. It's a central location. Valet parking.

Excellent place for vacation and recreation 1st quality service

The hotel has an very excellent staff! I was attending an IBM event Wednesday night where food was being served. I have a food allergy and many of the items had that particular food in it. I kept turning down those items because of my allergy. Well, the staff took it upon themselves to ask the kitchen to make the same thing but without the component to which I was allergic. Every time they brought out a tray of food, they also had a separate plate of it for me! They made me feel like a rock star!

Everything is beautiful and top notch, EXCEPT, the hot top looks like it's been here since the hotel opened back in the 1960s. One employee sent me hot tubs that was very small, not hot, and jets did not work. This employee has me thinking it was the only hot tub. Luckily I found the MAIN hot tub, that was very good.

Fantastic resort. Everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. We never left the resort. Prime is a great restaurant. Coffee shop was great for a quick sandwich or morning coffee. The Concierge has restaurants that deliver, we really liked the pizza place and they delivered beer and wine at a fraction of the hotel cost. Pools are beautiful. Omar and the beach staff are great , always ready to help with an umbrella or table. Playa beach restaurant had good burgers and delivered to the beach. The king deluxe ocean front balcony room was fantastic. Great view of the ocean and sunrise. Room was super clean (tore the place apart upon check in looking for any unwanted visitors and was extremely pleased) housekeeping did a great job making up the room everyday and replacing all necessities. Beach was groomed In The morning there was a good deal of seaweed daily but came and went depending on the day. Would definitely recommend and stay there again, I was pleasantly suprised.

I tagged along with my husband for a conference he had. Hotel was very nice but as a tag along of course I was responsible for my food for the three days. Coming from a small town in Indiana I never expected my breakfast in the hotel to be 42.00 just for me...mind you there is not anywhere a short walking distance away to go either. I was totally expecting just to sit pool or beachside for my 3 days of tagging along so was not upset that their is absolutely nothing within walking distance to do either but pool and beach. We were roomed on the 36th Floor ocean view room but was totally surprised when we walked into our room to see the adjoining room doors where open. This part was a very large suite that we thought was given to us because we asked and paid for an upgrade. We enjoyed this space for about 26 hours. We were woken by security pounding on our door at 11 p.m. telling us we needed to vacate and pay extra for the suite we had occupied. They were very rude to us for a mistake that housekeeping or someone else had made by opening the doors inside and leaving them that way. I just think they could have been a little nicer and done it at a more appropriate time. No we wont return here. Not for people of my small town back ground with average income. I felt very out of place and unwelcome.

Outstanding. Was only here for a couple of days but the view outside your room of the ocean is just so calming in the morning. Gutted that I wasn t able to use the pool by the ocean side. Would highly recommend this place.

basic place to stay and relax they have a great dining area and drinks you can bring your bow tie it up in the back and just enjoy I recommend this for my friends of course my relatives don't miss out come on out and enjoy yourself life is too short

Bummed that I have balcony with a view, but can't open door to balcony due to "weather proofing". Otherwise, nice room, spacious bathroom, comfy bed.

The back pool area is beautiful, and on this night the beach and back drop were breathtaking. We ate at diplomat prime beforehand. And while pricey, worth it.

Hotel is beautiful, pools are awesome but...how hard is to do an hamburger? For 15+tx+tip I expect at least a hot bun and a not yellow lettuce. Total lack of love or even basic standards for such hotel.

It has been 5 minutes I left the resort and I m writing this review. Where to begin.... first and last time. The resort isn t worth the money. The rooms were terrible. The beds super uncomfortable, mind you they were full size bed. For the price they need to upgrade to queen size. EVERYTHING IN THE RESORT IS EXPENSIVE! how ridiculous is it $35 dollars for self parking and $45 for valet parking daily the pools were super cold. The ran out of clean towels so we had to wait And for some reason I had to keep asking for toilet paper because they wouldn t put extra. The breakfast it was good but it was four of us and it came out to $120. The pool guy kept saying how he liked the people who give him extra tip on top of what they already charge on the bill. Oh forgot to mention we had a bunch of change in the car and the valet workers helped them self

Very nice, not a ton of nightlife at the hotel itself, at least while I was there. Very kid friendly. Very good service all around.

Blown away by the grandeur of the Diplomat. I stayed here for a conference and was extremely impressed by the resort. Great location right on the beach and top notch pools. Great location for a conference or vacation

DO NOT BOOK at this hotel!!! I booked a complete vacation package and basically was homeless for four hours because they didn t have any reservation. The hotel looks very nice, and staff if nice. The private owners are not reliable or professional. I ended up having to get another hotel. It was a terrible experience!!

Enjoy our day at the diplomat pool! It was absolutely amazing our beach attendance were great and they provided amazing service they checked on us throughout the day periodically we also had a poolside server that brought us drinks fresh fruits and snacks for the kids throughout the day. Two pools one on the upper deck and one on the lower deck the top pool has a glass bottom where you can see into the bottom pool the bottom pool has two waterfalls overflowing on each side the bottom pool is very big and amazing the water temperature is awesome the food was absolutely great we had guacamole with pineapples and chips snacks that they brought around where yogurt and cookies the Cabana are really amazing also they have TVs inside each Cabana and couches with a fan you'll absolutely love it and get your relaxing on.

My room had a view of the Atlantic Ocean. The room was beautiful with a balcony.

Amazing place for conferences, with a huge structure to promote events and host multinational groups.

Lunch options at this hotel or horrible. They ran out of food.

I had the most amazing experience! I came for a work conference and it was perfect. The beach is so close and the view from the room is gorgeous! The pool lights up at night and makes for a beautiful photo. The food was great. Only thing I would change is it is a little strange having shutters in the rooms to separate the bathroom. I was sharing with a work associate and you can hear everything in the bathroom. Other than that the decor is cute! I will be back for a personal vacation soon!

Unfortunately though the Westin Diplomats is suppose to be 5 star hotel, it's rooms lack the 5 star luxury, I was disappointed during my stay at the hotel, the room was not up to par, Yea, I complained they accommodated me, it's seems that the new management lost the vision of what once was 5 star luxury hotel, it looks more like a 3 star hotel.We went back ,2019, to Westin Diplomat unfortunately another disappointment, this year they had us wait for 4hr, because they were cleaning the room, When finally I got the room they were only 4 towels, they have become a 3 star Hotel.

Disappointed with the housekeeping service. Each night of our stay, something was wrong. We paid a premium price for a premium room. We did not get premium service.

Louby and his team were amazing and very accommodating to our every need. !! These guys made our beach vacation worry free. Thanks Louby! !

Look for another hotel to stay very bad treatment from the staff have s someone in the entrance of the pool that does not let you see the intalaciones

We enjoyed our stay at The Diplomat, even if it was for a conference and not just for pleasure. :-) The room was modern, clean, quiet, the bed comfortable, and the space was perfect for us. It was conveniently located near the elevator and ice, and was not noisy. The room had great coffee, but with espresso size cups. I think I drank too many small cups. :-) The cleaning person made sure I had plenty coffee and the room was always immaculate. The breakfast buffet was hot, fresh, had several healthy choices, and had awesome attentive wait staff. It was pricey, and included coffee and orange juice. The gym was modern, had many choices of equipment, was busy, but not packed during the times I used it. Having the option of enjoying the ocean or pool was a nice amenity. The lobby had plenty of seating, except during the extremely busy weekends, especially when it was raining. Because weekends are so busy you need a bracelet to be allowed in the pool. No problem, except if you forget and left it in the room. Southern Florida is way too busy and expense for our taste, but The Diplomat is a great place to stay and enjoy it.

This hotel is stunning in every way. We were here conducting a site visit for a sales incentive trip to be helped early next year and we were so Impressed. Every space is immaculate, the views are stunning and the staff is unmatched. Food was also very delicious. Lastly, do not miss the expansive pool deck. With something for everyone there is a wading pool as well as a large pool and east beach access. We are certainly looking forward to another tripe here.
