When I checked in the bathroom was not clean with the previous guests soap in the shower. Hair was noted in the sink of the bathroom. Room was then cleaned with the manager inspecting the room and offered a 75 dollar credit to my account but this never happened. If you are staying for a conference I would recommend going to a nearby hotel instead.

This place is great. A slower pace than the hotels on south beach(Miami) but still a great vacation spot! Nice beach front rooms. And a great pool area thats just steps away from the white sand beach!

Stayed here in May 2015 for a family vacation trip. The hotel is one of the higher-end hotels. The stuff was nice, the room we were in was always clean (3 bedroom, oceanfront). The pool is neat, the beach is 2 min of walk.

Very pricy. Valet people don't really care about the vehicles as we found a scratch on there which they denied of course. There was fireworks that lasted for 10minutes and was extremely loud which was inconvenient for our sleeping baby. Before we booked, we called the hotel and was told it will be peaceful which definitely wasn't. Room service food arrived cold and quality was OK. Room looked nice and clean but it was cold as hell without AC. Music was going on late so we didn't get any good sleep. My opinion is that it is not worth the price. There are more affordable and nicer hotels around.

They started on the wrong foot with me, my BD had booked 3 months ahead for us , attending a convention there. When we arrived they told me they had assigned me to another location because they were booked. It was around 7 in the evening and I am supposed to be in the meetings next day at 8 am. So I said no way, I'm not moving from here so they went to the manager and came back saying they have a room that they will clean and they would text me, I went to dinner and they did text to give me this awesome room on the 23rd floor.

I stayed at the Diplomat for a conference. The room was quite nice with a balcony and partial oceanview. The bathroom was probably the best feature with a separate shower/tub and heavy fogged glass doors for both shower and toliet. The beach was never too crowded and very quiet, although my stay was in early November. The hotel freatured 4 restraunts, which seemed quite nice, although expensive for my liking. The conference area was expensive and very capable of hosting 1000 people events.

Great hotel. Views are awesome. Location could be better. Not much around in walking distance but Taxis and Uber/Lyft is plentiful. Room left a little something to be desired but was clean and comfortable.

I attended a conference in the adjacent convention center and the recent renovations are incredible!! Loved the breathtaking views of the ocean during my "sun" breaks in between sessions. As a local, I am definitely planning to return for a weekend getaway. The concierge and spa staff were so sweet... I asked the concierge about day passes, which they do not do, but he suggested a delightful tour to the spa as an alternative "day trip" option. Good job Mr. Concierge!! We will be back soon :)

I used to love staying in this hotel, but not anymore, will never ever come back again.they all lying to there customers.I booked the partial Oceanview room and I asked for update to a balcony ocean view room.instead update they gave me a very small street view room.after I back to front desk he admitted his mistake,And apologize to us.give us two free cocktails and a dessert card can use in the hotel.I don't know if that was mistake or on purpose.Don't come here ruined your vacation!!!

Room and amenities were top notch. The architecture, the lobby, and the general polish are amazing. Let me finish, unfortunately it's also a mega tourist trap. The food is over priced, mediocre, and bland. There's nothing in walking distance. Their bar across the street sucks. Pool is great, 24/7. I'd stay here again. They need trolley / shuttle service to the airport.

Service at the pool is th worst ive seen, only one guy for 300+ people. You have to go look for the waiter and them wait an hour to order anything , went to the bar and left after 20 min because the bartender was busy of course, they should get more employees at the pool and the bar

Beautiful property. Upon arrival we learned that the room we booked was unavailable. No worries, that happens and we were there on a busy weekend. We were provided with a different room. Unfortunately, it had two double beds instead of a king bed. Not perfect for a married couple, but whatever. So we decide to take a nap. We fall asleep and then the door opens and in marches a man, a woman and two small kids. They had the room number wrong, but their key worked on our lock. Luckily for the chastity of their children we were napping in our comfy individual beds. Now officially awake, we decide to go get a quick bite to eat at the Playa on the beach side. Nice view, okay menu, what can go wrong. Service was good but slow, but we understand - they are doing their best while overbooked and understaffed. We charge the meal to the room and off we go. Turned out we couldn't charge things to the room because whoever stayed at the room before us was never checked out and his name appears on the reservation. The staff actually found us to let us know that. Loudly. We call the hotel from the cafe to avoid having to walk to the reception. They hung up on us. We say uhm.....and go back to our room. There, the security team greets us. They were making sure we were not in fact trespassing there. Luckily my wife had the welcome text messages on her phone. So far it has been entertaining enough. I actually went back upstairs first and wife had to attend a meeting downstairs. She came up to the room while i was in the shower and couldnt get in because her key did not work. We stopped by the reception on the way out. We were heading to a party. The lady who helped us was nice enough, apologized, gave us both new keys to the room and comped our meal at the Playa.
We return at 3am and we are exhausted. The key does not work. We go downstairs to get that fixed, but we don't have our Id's on us because we were at a friend's house, used Uber to get there and didn't bother taking them. That takes a while because they really wanted the Id's. So finally we make it back to our double beds with our new keys.
Wife does not learn her lesson easily. The woman cannot sleep more than 5 hours at a time. So, while I am sleeping in like a normal hung over person on vacation, she wonders downstairs with her brand new key to get some coffee. She took some cash with her but not her ID. Do she did get to buy the coffee because she still could not charge to the room, but she could not get a new key when hers did not work again! She apparently did not want to wake me up so she didn't knock. She was told to stand by the door and wait for security to come up and let her in. She stood there for 20 minutes waiting. Then she knocked. She needn't worry because I was already up - the security called the room to inform me that I was locked out. I didn't know her key wasn't working so I just grumbled that I was asleep, and definitely not locked out. Wife is now officially pissed off. We check out early, but not before she calls the guest service to share the joy with them. They tell her that she will hear back from the management. We checked out a couple of hours later and left. A day later they text us to remind us to check out! Thanks, Diplomat Resort and Spa, we got it.

We absolutely love this beach resort! It's so beautiful and big! So many restaurants to choose from and the pool areas are so nice! Very family friendly which is always nice when traveling with our 5 month old!

The installation, comfort and services are good but they lie to you crudely with the theme of breakfast free, (YOU SELL IT FOR 4 PEOPLE AND THEN YOU ARE TOLD YOU ARE FOR TWO ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS OLD) without first warning you.

As a Costco member. NOT recommended for family or romance vacation. good for business. Hotel staff always busy. response time 45 min to 2 hr. For "Daily continental breakfast for up to two guests at Fresh" just $15 per person a day, to cover 1 coffee & 1 croissant from 6am to 10am. Valet parking $39 + tip. self parking 26 + tax. For Optional daily resort fee NOT recommend to buy it because beach chairs are free but umbrella $20 eh and beach staff are very rude. Hotel under a big constructions loud noisy, impossible to have a nap. But I still like the ocean view.

The Core Fitness Training is the best part of the hotel. You get to work with real fitness instructors, and they give you the best workout of your life. If you serious about transforming your body, try out this gym.

Stayed here a month ago. Didn't realize how big the hotel was, location was great. It was busy while we were waiting to check in but the front desk staff were quick and efficient so the wait was not long at all. We stayed in a nice suite, very spacious, clean, had a balcony view of the ocean. Staff were very helpful and kind. Only had breakfast there and it was delicious!

Beautiful Hotel/Mini Resort on the beach, but for it to be a part of the Hilton family, it was missing some important amenities like coffee in your room, comp. breakfast that is not $30. bigger fridges, microwave. I price must be so high due to it being on the beach & the rooms are pretty nice, but when a person with kids wants to Staycation which people due a lot these days, you want to go somewhere that is family friendly. Way to overpriced to not have ALL the fixings

I love this hotel for overnights, or for events. The open plan and many options for a drink make this hotel a great place for any corporate function. The rooms a large and modern and quite comfortable.
