I was recommended to go visit Ide Honda and I am so glad I did. Roberto and Will really worked their magic. I came in with a car that was worth nothing with money still owed on it. They took their time to make sure I actually knew what I wanted to do. They explained everything and I mean everything since this whole lease deal was new to me. At the end of the day they were not pushing salesman but just normal everyday people who were looking out for my best interest. I am so pleased with my new car and the deal that they gave me. I have already recommended my family members to go see them. Thank you Ide Honda!!

Called for an oil change which was fine. But ...a tire rotation and break job for an extra 150 dollars was thrown in there too. I declined. My car isn't even a year old yet. This is the only problem I have with the service department. Extra things added that aren't needed just to strike fear in the hearts of people who wouldn't know any better? Really...you have to stop doing that. My car has only 8800 miles on it so why do I need a break job? Might I add they are mostly highway miles so the breaks aren't used all that much. As far as tire rotation I booked somewhere else.

When you go to buy a car, it can be a very nervous, worrying time.
My wife had bought from Ide Honda twice before and when it was time for her to get a new car, it was natural that she should chose Ide.
We met Al Gleichauf when we went to look around and straight away, we were at ease with him. We told him that we were not ready to commit there and then and he said "ok, look around, I will be ready if you need to know anything" He was as good as his word.
My wife decided eventually to get a CRV and everything went smoothly. Al was always available, even on his day off, we were able to text him and get any question that we had answered.
Fast forward a couple of months and I was looking to get an SUV.
Naturally Al was the man we went to see. Although I bought a Mazda CX5, we wanted to deal with Al, simply because we trusted him. true to form, he made everything go smoothly. even when I was probably pestering him more than I should have.
I cannot speak too highly of Al Gleichauf. He was a pleasure to work with. We laughed, joked, shared stories and by the time we picked up my car, it was like we were meeting and old and dear friend.
That is how I feel about Al. A good salesman Yes, but an even nicer man. Thank you for a great buying experience.

Bought a car from Ide Honda. Al was very friendly and his customer service was greatly appreciated .Al took very good care of me and I am very happy with the with the way I was taken care of. Al did a great job and he does his job very well I was happy to have him as a salesman. Also I would like to add that the service guys did their job well done.I would go back there again .Great job Al very satisfied with the way you took care of me.

I bought my car here and they have done amazing service for the past 3 years. Just now I went to collision for a minor scratch and they popped my bumper back in and fixed it in less than ten minutes and for an unbelievable low price!! I can't recommend this dealership, service, and collision center enough.

Will Galliher Helped me get a new car, he was professional, friendly, helpful, always got back to me. He even checked in on me after I got my new car to see how everything was going, if I needed anything I could contact him. The whole Ide family was very friendly and super helpful including Jacob Anderson who did all the paperwork. Thank you so much for such an easy great experience! I won t ever go anywhere else!

Kiersten Herman, This woman went above and beyond for someone she didn't get a sale for (Directly). I was shopping around and IDE BY FAR HAD THE BEST PRICE! so just shop here first. However, Kiersten was very friendly, got me the info I was looking for and helped me get a car. Because of her I saved alot as a monthly payment with my lease. For that I thank you and hope someone reads this and asks for you directly so you can be as to them as you were with me.

Brad made my experience painless and very very easy. I came in not knowing what I wanted at all and Brad took the time to nail down what was perfect for me. He took the time to explain every feature of my new car and made it a fun experience. He was the best to deal with!

Tony also made life very easy and painless. He made sure I got the best rate and made sure I understood every aspect from the Financial aspect.

My first time actually getting a car from a car dealer (I had an old Accord that lasted a long time previously that I got from a relative); bought a new Accord from them and it was a great experience. No-pressure sales approach, very professional and personable. I personally dealt with Will Galliher, who I highly recommend to anyone else looking for a new car. He tremendously exceeded my expectations of how a car salesperson would take care of a customer.

I recently purchased a Honda HRV from Ide Honda. I had a horrendous experience at another local Honda dealer. The Sales Manager promptly found the vehicle I was looking for and brought it up front awaiting my arrival, Scott was competent and knowledgeable and helped make the purchasing process easy. Jake in Finance was the best person to work with. He, I should say, him and Scott went out of their way to make this a fun and easy process to get me in the car I had been trying to purchase for a month!! They were honest and straight forward. They gave me the price I wanted and Jake explained all my options for financing and warranties. I never once felt pressured. They were my "partners" in helping me buy my car. Where the first dealership had stripped the fun out of buying a new car, these guys put the fun right back into it. I will always be grateful I changed dealers and found Ide.

I commend Al Gleichauf for snappy, expert guidance when I bought my Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. He logically explained features of the vehicle; explored my car/lifestyle needs in order to make a good match; and made the entire buying process smooth and easy. My sister and I test drove the vehicle on our own, which gave us the freedom to chat without worrying about what a salesperson was thinking. When we made an offer, he did something I d never seen before: had me sign that I was willing to buy at that price. Then, he delivered the price we wanted! Afterward, we realized we both had a separate connection to another IDE employee, which was funny. Overall, I felt he cared about my car needs and made the process smooth and free of that annoying car salesman game. Thanks, Al...!

I would Highly recommend him to everyone interested in a new or used car. His knowledge of All Make/Model Cars is extensive and is not just current Honda models too. I worked with Al Gleichauf to get out of the vehicle I currently had and into a lease. I ve had leases before and honestly feel they are the best way to go! Al was great! He s very knowledgeable, takes his time and doesn t try to pressure you into anything. He was very personable in the sense that while I took the time to decide whether I wanted to pay a bit more for what I wanted. He talked about his family, asked me questions about mine and what I like to do with my free time. Not once did I feel like I was pressured into buying something. Al was considerate and very very personable, which is a great quality to have!

I am a loyal customer and will say that IDE Honda has just gained another life long customer! Thanks Al!!

If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. I have never dealt with a dealership that is more dishonest and deceitful than this one. I signed a wear-and-tear policy with Dick Ide when I leased my 2015 Accord from them three years ago, and I was told then that it would cover up to $3000 worth of damages when I returned my lease. I put $600 up front for this. I moved to Florida in July to start school, and I went to Dick Ide before I left to personally speak to the sales rep that leased my vehicle to me. I wanted to cover my bases because I knew my lease would be up in November. He told me I could return the Accord to any Honda dealership in the country, which is true. He also told me the wear-and-tear policy I signed would be good anywhere in the country, but only for the three year term of the initial contract. So if I wanted to extend my lease, the policy would be void, which I understood.

Come to find out this past week, after speaking to several people at Dick Ide, the excess wear-and-tear would only be covered if I returned the car to them in New York. I'm currently living thousands of miles from where I initially leased the car. After the end-of-term inspection, I was due $400 for excessive damage to my car, after a $500 waiver that Honda as a company gives you. Dick Ide would still profit $200 if they covered the $400. But absolutely no one at Dick Ide was of any help. All they kept telling me was that there was nothing they could do because these were the terms of my contract. Their workers are incredibly misinformed, and one person tells you one thing while another tells you something else. How can you make the best decision for yourself when you keep getting conflicting information? I've never had worse customer service in my life.

I called Honda Financial Services to let them know I was returning my vehicle because I was at the end of my lease, and I told their representative about the huge headache, irritation, grief, regret, etc. that Dick Ide had caused me. She immediately extended an offer to waive the remaining $400 that I would owe for the excess wear and tear. This is something that Dick Ide repeatedly told me they could not do under any circumstances under the terms of my contract, even though I gave them $600 to cover any damages to my car that inadvertently can happen over a three year period. Who the hell is holding a gun to their head and preventing them from writing a check for the $400? Mind you, this is essentially coming from the money I gave them in the first place. I was never asking them to just pay for my damages. I just wanted my $600 to go to use and not be wasted. It seemed simple enough. When it comes to customer service, a company can do whatever it likes to keep their customers happy and satisfied. Honda's corporate team did just that, while Dick Ide did the complete opposite.

So thank you to Honda's kind and thoughtful lease representative for helping me out after just a 5 minute conversation. She did not want me to leave Honda with a bad taste in my mouth, and she definitely accomplished that. BUT DO NOT GO TO DICK IDE HONDA. Save yourself from a nightmare buying experience and shop at any dealership besides theirs. Dick Ide could really use a lesson in customer service, especially in a business where you have endless buying options. Needless too say, I will never be purchasing from Dick Ide again.

Several of the workers at Dick Ide, including Jacob, made it clear to me that they could not do anything for me due to the terms of the contract. When I spoke to Adam, he told me he may be able to do something for me when I get the bill. Which I was told by Honda Financial would be in about 2-3 weeks. What was the point of waiting until I receive the bill instead of telling me up front that it would be taken care of? If Adam or anyone at Dick Ide had any intention of helping me out with the situation, they would have been clear about it instead of telling me there was a possibility they could help me when I receive the bill. Transparency constantly seems to be lacking.

I had a bad experience with a salesman, so I called and asked to talk to a different salesman, and they wouldn't let me!

Also they don't sell or lease vehicles on Wednesday... They don'e have anyone in that day who can do the paperwork... Seems like a bad business choice to me.

Back to the bad salesman, we had leased 3 vehicles through him. (Always compared prices and they were close to other dealerships.) On the 3rd lease, he quoted me a price that was over $150 a month more than any other dealership! (I guess he figured that we were repeat customers and that we would just trust that he was giving good deal.) When I called back to confront him about the poor price, he wasn't with the office and they refused to let me talk with someone else! So I leased from one of the other guys. Two years later, they are still refusing to let me talk to a different salesman.

Went in because of a accident just to cover my bases. Wanted to know from a dealership what my best moves would be going forward. Was communicated to with cuss words and incompetence. After the collision aspect of it, I asked about a mechanical inspection of some sort. The guys were dumbfounded by this request to look over the car and said they don t know what s wrong with my car... neither do I, but your supposed to be the professionals!!! It was pretty much a waste of time and a push out the door. I was amazed!!

I just have to say the Ide Honda is by far the best Dealership. From the moment I went in to the moment Picked up my awesome Accord they were incredible. Joe, Roberto, and Ken all were great and treated me like a person first and were totally straight forward. I recommend Ide to everyone I talk too. You guys ROC!

WOW! This has been my best experience ever in leasing a car! Adam, Dan, and Al made everything flawless! I have three small boys at home and don't have time to sit in a dealership for a long period of time! Everything was ready when I walked in! All I had to do is sign and drive away with my car, I was in and out within about 30 minutes!!!! I will recommend this dealership to anybody I know looking for a car!

I came in to Dick Ide Honda the other day to look at a few vehicles, and I ended up purchasing a 2012 Honda CR-V! Everyone has been fantastic from Paul my salesperson to Adam in the finance department. Everyone was so happy for me that I was getting a vehicle that I love! What I find that makes Dick Ide different than other dealerships is that everyone has a smile on their face here. I swear, I walked in and everyone knew I was coming to pick up my new vehicle from the receptionist, to the salespeople, to the manager; they all came up and were so happy for me. I was talking to a friend of mine about my new Honda CR-V because she was ready to buy a new car and was actually speaking with another dealership. I told her that she has to come in to Dick Ide because they will take care of you. I am very happy with my overall experience with Dick Ide Honda!

Me and my Grandma bought a 2016 Honda Civic from IDE HONDA and we absolutely love it!! Our salesman was Doug McCarthy and he was the best salesmen iv'e ever seen!! He wasnt pushy at all and he showed us all the proof that we were getting a great deal. And me and my grandma love how good of customer service there is, its incredible! Finally have found time to say a big thank you to IDE Honda and a wonderful purchasing experience.
This was my first purchase of Honda CR-V in December 2018 and it was the best experience I've ever had.
Alex Piterman was my sales person and he was just fantastic, he just did his best in order I got my dream car as a New Year present! Thank you again, Alex!
I also want to thank Ashley Pierce, Financial Services Manager for the great financial offer I got!
After 6 months of having Honda CR-V, I can definitely say that I am in love with my car and definitely recommend this dealership for your future car purchase!

I highly recommend Brad Constantino to help find your next car. I was reluctant to trade-in my 2011 Hyundai Sonata, but knew I had to do it sooner than later. I spent several hours online, seeing what low-mileage used cars were in my price range and found two that caught my eye on the Ide Honda site. I am so fortunate to have been connected to Brad's line when I called. He squeezed me in that same day, even though he was very busy. There was no pressure, just information shared. Brad steered me in the right direction and I ended up buying a certified used 2017 Honda Civic that is like driving a brand-new car. It was a great deal all the way around. I will be going back to Brad for my next car and will recommend him to family and friends.

I recently purchased a CRV from IDE Honda. Brad Constantino was my salesman. The process was seamless. this is my second car purchased with Brad'S assistance. I felt comfortable immediately with his presentation about the car and what I needed to do to drive home with my new car. Brad presented a very organized plan, his information was stated clearly and the financial plan fit my pocketbook perfectly. Brad Constantino works for the customer to make SURE they drive away happy and will be back. Our family has purchased 3 Hondas from Ide Honda so far (a used CR-V, a used Pilot and a new Ridgeline) and have always dealt with Brad. He does an excellent job. He sells you what you want and doesn't try to over-sell you with options you don't need. He gave me a good price for my trade-in - without the "I'll have to go check with my manager" line. He's what a car salesman should be ! And if you have a problem with a used vehicle from them, they make it right. I actually never even considered going to any other dealership and probably never will.

My husband and I went in knowing exactly what we w...

My husband and I went in knowing exactly what we wanted, which Ide Honda had in stock, ready to go. When it came to making the deal, we were told we would get 0.9% financing over 60 months, and that we would get $500 in rebates because my husband graduated less than 2 years ago. The salesman gave us the 0.9% rate, even went in the back to "talk to finance" (to be sure that my husband qualified for the $500 rebate) and told him that he would indeed qualify for the rebate. All of this just to get my husband in with the finance department for them to say, "Oh, by the way, it's not 0.9%, it's 1.9%. And it's not over 60 months, it's over 36. And oh, by the way, you don't qualify for the $500 off." The salesman is a representative of Ide Honda, is he not? What he offers should be honored when you get to the finance department, ready to sign away tens of thousands of dollars and commit to payments for the next several years. The woman in finance became defensive and incredibly rude when we brought up these very valid points. It all seemed very manipulative and pompous. Sort of like, "We don't need your business. If it's not you, it will be some other sucker." Protect yourselves and your finances.... do NOT shop at Ide Honda. (FYI- we walked into Garber Honda, told them exactly what we wanted...car, price, financing, etc. and were in and out in less than an hour!)

Joe Preteroti was great working with me over the phone and had everything ready when I traveled to Rochester to check the vehicle in person and then again for delivery. They give away your information without your say so

The other day I took my car in for service. Soon afterwards I was e-mailed by Sirius XM radio. I was shocked that they contacted me after I was told a year ago that they would not contact me again. They were constantly calling me at all hours of the day, and a e-mail just about every day. I had a almost impossible time to get them to stop. It has been confirmed to me that the service department decided it would be I good idea to give them my e-mail address so they could start bothering me all over again.
What is really interesting to me is that their privacy policy and their website both say that is not the type of place they share your information with.
I had a couple of time to speak to Mr Ide, but he just had the service manager call me. He seemed really annoyed with me and will no longer respond to my e-mails.
I find this whole ordeal to be a beaking of the trust I had with them to safeguard my information.

Made a phone appointment and detailed service needs. Arrived 20 minutes early and repeated service needs. Of the 3 items that need servicing, they only did the oil change after 90 minutes. Since they quit selling Mazda, I can only assume they are trying to drive away their Mazda customers. I think I will find a different dealer when I purchase a Honda.

He got us a great price for a Pilot, which has always been our "dream" car. No gimmicks, no upselling. He asked us what we needed and got us exactly that at an amazing price. Need a car? This is my second time leasing a car from Ide Honda and each time was a pleasure. Brad helped me both times; he was friendly and worked quickly to get me what I needed. Even when I wanted to make a few last minute changes they were accommodating and gracious. When this lease is up, I will definitely come back to Ide Honda and work with Brad again!

I'm not normally a review guy but after dealing with other places that are still using the good cop / bad cop sales routines, like it's 1980, I gotta say that they do it right. My guy was Al Gleichauf. He just gave me a great price and advice. He used to be a service manager so he knows these cars inside and out. Highly recommend.
