It is such a beautiful place. The grounds are huge and you can wander round at will. Stunning autumn colours just now. Fantastic, polite and very helpful staff. Even speak if you meet them in the grounds. Rooms, food, service all rate 6*.

Nice location for afternoon tea. Attentive and friendly service. Special requirements for sandwich fillings fulfilled cheerfully. Teapots refilled as needed. All 4 'courses' excellent both visually and regarding taste. Some particularly skilled touches. Enjoyable first visit today

For a preeminent world renowned golf resort, I very surprised the golf flyover feature on the web site does not work for both the Kings and Queens courses. Hope management will fix the issue. It s a shame a customer has to raise this issue to management .

Marvellous hotel with opulent decor from another era. Impeccable understated service. Lovely perfectly manicured gardens and grounds surround the imposing grandeur of the main building.. And then there is of course the championship standard golf course...

Faultless....from check in to leaving. I ve always wanted to visit here but could never afford it until now. The only criticism was that the mattress was too hard but that s my personal choice.

Well, it was 5* - what did you expect? We just dropped in for coffee as one does, but from the front entrance to the many small shops, to the cafe, all staff were polite and friendly. I'm sure some will say that they got a lesser priced coffee and scone elsewhere, but Gleneagles' special brewed coffee is, er, special. And one can pour 2 cups from the flask. And the scone, creamy butter and jam were more than a cut above the norm. And one may find oneself seated adjacent to an A-lister! And the gents' lavvy was one to behold! Best let this matter drop....
Below you'll see where I parked my bike...

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Dormy house. Lovely birthday cake surprise for my daughter in her bedroom. Only drawback was the disappointing view of the ground floor roof from our bedroom window.

So peaceful. Loved the relaxation room. I had a facial and a manicure and I felt so relaxed afterwards. Enjoyed all of it really. The food was amazing and not too heavy on my stonach either. The therapists were magnificent. Thanks for having me

Great hotel and lovely rooms. Massive bathroom with standalone tub. I was there on a work conference and probably just as well as the drinks prices are a bit steep. Good food and overall the conference was well run.

Luxurious, spacious and a wonderful staff. The selection of activities is unique; golf, falconry, working with dogs, riding, off-road driving, bicycling, etc. The only thing that I would like to change is that the HVAC system has a minimum setting of medium fan, which blew on us and dried us out during the night.

Was there for afternoon tea. Food was excellent to the extent afternoon tea can be. Service was fast and friendly. The room was beautiful as were the views. We turned up 15 minutes early and they still took us.
The place is just so classy and everyone around us seemed happy.

Had Afternoon Tea here. Spread over 2 and a half hours, delicious array of savouries, sandwiches, scones and cakes in a tranquil setting. Very attentive and helpful waitstaff, great range of teas.

Staff here are very well trained. I had a quiche with salad followed by a scrumptious strawberry tart. I enjoy going here for lunch as it's not overpriced when paying just for myself, my friend and I halve the bill. I missed the hotel shops which used to be there. Some of the windows were looking tired but hey it's a lovely hotel and food is fresh, coffee tasty.

Great Venue, clearly golf, golf, golf three courses, a couple of practice areas, there are other activities related to the outdoors, walks, cycling, shooting and the birds falcons & egales of course. A fantastic advert for Scotland, given the right weather !!!!. A manicured landscape and hotel, gardens for all to enjoy, stay over or just a coffee and a snack, don't pass by without going in you'd be doing yourself a disservice.
