They've recently renovated the lodge and while the new look is beautiful it lacks the rustic charm of it's predecessor. I had coffee at The Market and it was fine- the service was great.

We spent 1 night here on September long weekend. We checked in and immediately got to our room and it was 26 degrees and the AC wouldn t work. Now this happens, but we called at 330pm to have it fixed and we went out hiking. We returned around 630pm and it was still broken. Called the front desk and they said they had issues accessing our room so they didn t fix it. So now we had to sit in our room and wait for a tech to come. He looked at the machine with no tools for about 30 mins. Then called the front desk and said he needs more time so we need to get a room change. He then left the room and I had no idea what was happening. So I called the front desk twice before they said they would send someone with a key for our new room. It was now 730pm. Did I mention we have 3 children 6 and under. Fun times just sitting in a sweltering room waiting for answers. Finally got switched rooms. Then we tried to go to the pool with the kids before bedtime to find out that you require a reservation due to Covid. No one ever informed us of this rule. The pool was fully booked for the rest of the evening. So we had to explain to our 3 children that they couldn t use the pool. If it wasn t for this location I m not sure this hotel would stay in business with this type of customer service for the price of a stay. We will not be going back to this hotel.

Rooms are clean and the amenities are fantastic. Our receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The walls are a bit thin though, and I was woken up a few times by doors slamming and people talking in the hallway.

It s a hidden gem. Great hiking trails surround the lodge. You can mountain bike or hike easy or hard. In the winter the trails double for cross country skiing or snow shoe! The lodge is great with a Nordic spa that makes it perfect for a couples retreat. Massage was fantastic!!

Unique location, nice clean room, excellent service (in room dining is a nice option when you want to eat in your pyjamas), they will fix the broken things in your room fast; it's a pretty big hotel, so request the room that is close to the lobby is highly recommended.

I used to love walking around the shops at this hotel. We pipped in after x-country skiing and were disappointed that they all seem to be gone. All that is left are a few touristy places and an outdoor gear shop. Still giving it 4 stars though as I am excited for the new spa which looks amazing.

The lodge is currently under renovation. While they are making significant efforts to mitigate the issue, it is still difficult to pay full price for a stay here. The room is nice, but you need to walk thru the parakade everything you go to the pool or restaurant. It's a beautiful property, and once the renovations are done it will be great again. We will wait another year or so until we return again.

Service is really good and the scenery around the hotel is just beautiful. The hotel is older and it shows, but it's ok and is generally well kept. Staff is really friendly and make you feel appreciated. Restaurant was really good, albeit somewhat pricey.

Decent place but seems to be quite dated. I noticed a lot of construction crews around, both near the rooms and the spa, but I was never warned about the noise or disturbances. The grounds are nice and it's pretty scenery. No food options around except for at the resort, so prices are a bit high for what you get. Staff was friendly, though.

Worst hotel experience ever. We booked a king size room. Upon checking they told us they were overselling rooms on purpose. We told them that even though we were two men we were a couple and wanted to sleep in the same bed. They told us they had other people coming for a wedding and for a Nike s footwear symposium who would need king size beds. So the choice was made. Our mountain view room was on the parking lot. The door to the bathroom was broken. The water tank was broken so we couldn t flush. Sophia Hun, the manager, told us they were fully booked and that nothing could be done. After having taken a dump and seeing the toilets were broken they actually found another room with separate beds. So still not sleeping together but we could use the toilets - yah! So glad after after a 15h journey from Paris. Oh, they re not total thieves. At 260 / night, they gave us a breakfast voucher. So in short: scums, total disrespect for people.

Delta Lodge in Kananaskis must be experienced. The rooms are amazing, the spa is transcendent, the indoor/outdoor pool is INCREDIBLE, and the restaurants and shops are fantastic! I recommend checking their package deals.

The room is a little dated with scrapes and other damage on some of the furniture. The spa is missing some tiles, one fell off as we were sitting in it. However, the spa is being renovated and should be ready by December 2017. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel was full, but service was still very good. Will stay there again! Looking forward to seeing the new spa!

One star is the location and up keeping of hotel and the restaurants, it's beautiful! Second star is for having the convience of having the Nordic spa on the same property.

Unfortunately it ends here. The lodge is I'd quite the pricey place to stay for minimal and poor service they provide. We booked in for an elopment package with their events person for this August. Leading up to the elopment we had called to just to make sure everything was as it was advertised. The person we spoke with on the phone was very disappointing; said we didn't have an reservation of that reflected that. When asked to look into to it she refused and continued to be quite disrespectful and defensive. This was quite hurtful and caused unnecessary stress leading up to the wedding. we finally got to speak with their events manager Brent. He was aplogized in matter of fact way and moved on. So we reluctantly proceeded with our elopment at the lodge hoping things will be better.

We were told to book a restaurant for our guests or arrange for a cake we had to email the restaurant. When we would email them, the response time was a weeks delay or wouldn't response at all. When we checked in the person at front desk told us again there is no elopment package. It was quite frustrating. We soon realized we are not only one with grivences, as we were checking a couple next to us were frustrated having similar conversation about overall poor communication and customer service. Part of package included room service for breakfast, champagne and dessert. Again there was unnecessary uncomfortable conversation about it being part of the package vs extra charge. Check out was same..they had no idea what package we had signed up for. Tried to charge us for things that were suppose to be part of the package. The staff is always quick to jump to the defense and is not flexible or open to taking to come to a resolution. Instead they speak with unfounded arrogance and demeanor.

So disappointed with the stay. Made our beautiful elopment getaway so stressful. Will not recommend them. One of my girlfriend was planning to have her elopment at the lodge and now she will be choosing some other place.

Amazing location with plenty of places to see and things to do. King room in John palliser is beautiful, only complaint was the room was to hot, only way to get cool was to open the window, but not ideal on the lower floor with all the passer byers. Service was impeccable for the hotel sector.

Staff were exceptional. The lodge and the rooms were very nice, our room had A/C but still was very warm. Food was good. The location is very beautiful and because it's kind of out of the way it is very intimate

The hotel is beautifully renovated, the scenery is stunning, and the rooms themselves are extremely comfortable. The critical factor that is missing in this beautiful establishment is a sense of hospitality and strong customer service. I strongly believe that we should all be empathetic towards the challenges presented as a result of COVID-19. Despite these challenges, the hotel proceeded to sell 100% of their rooms (which is their business decision and good on them for being able to do so), but not having enough staff and capacity to provide food and timely service to guests and blaming it on the new public health guidelines is another thing.

We could not get reservations at the Nordic Spa or a massage appointment. We couldn t get a reservation/booking to use the pool. I think both of these events are reasonable based on the circumstances. What is not acceptable to me is we were promptly seated at the restaurant, it took >45 mins for our breakfast at the Forte restaurant. The French toast and chicken sausages were dry and cold. Although our server asked if we wanted to order an alternative, we did not have another 45 min to wait. Management came out to apologize because it s their duty to do so, but without any sense of empathy or understanding. The apology was insincere and the excuse was simply COVID . It would be better if the restaurant was up front about how long the wait would be prior to seating us. Many of the tables around us experienced the same situation and the discontent was palpable.

Another challenge we had experienced was when we were checking out. We have a $100 resort credit from our booking. On our folio, we did not see the $100 credit, so we decided to call the front desk after we had departed to verify. All I wanted was a clear explanation of the charges, but the staff took zero time to investigate and explain the issue. The statement Your Bill is right was provided but with no explanation.

I always viewed coming here to be a luxury experience, but I don t see myself returning to this beautiful property in the near future due to a culture that undermines hospitality. There are other establishments in the area where we can expect and experience better customer service for the amount of money spent. Perhaps do not sell 100% of the rooms if you cannot keep up with serving all of the hotel guests.

Relaxing, quiet and amazing mountain views!

We celebrated our anniversary here with the Autograph package (Nordic spa). The reception staff was amazing and cheerful. The King Room was great with one king bed and a big couch with pull out bed. I think 5-6 people can sleep here. They also have one-cup Keurig, Iron, fridge (without refreshments), safe deposit and electric fan. They don t have room slippers, but we figured we just had to use our slippers from Nordic spa. Room service menu wasn t appetizing for us so we just ate at Woody s pub.

Nice looking hotel. Obviously a nice location with beautiful mountain views and air. Lovely staff. Pretty good room. Terrible pillows. I asked for room service to bring bowls to the room for popcorn and they never showed up. The spa is absolutely spectacular.

New renovations are amazing, rooms are large and spacious. The indoor/outdoor hot tub is fabulous. The spa is on another level, however it is very busy. Both restaurants we tried were good. No complaints

Hotel was good, restaurants are lacking. Restaurants are under staffed, they can't even fill the seats there's so few staff. The whole reason for going to the lodge was the great Sunday brunch they used to have, that's no more. The buffet they did have was lacking in flavor, the bread was so dry it was hard, the pancakes were dry, the pastries were flavorless. Won't be going back any time soon.

Currently under renovation, the new rooms are wonderful but the hotel premise is a construction zone. Food is good but expensive in Forte and poor and expensive in the Woody's Pub which should be avoided. No alternative locations for food at the village make you a captive audience during the winter with alternatives 30-60 mins away...

Beautiful resort with paths leading to wonderful views of the Rockies and valley. Family friendly but also very upscale. Large rooms, updated decor. Waterpark is fun for the kids. Multiple restaurants, and a nice, cozy lounge for having a drink and some bar food. Shops and marketplace, great amenities. Outdoor fire pit for late night star gazing. Staying for one night we didn't get to try all of it, but I'll definitely be back... maybe for a romantic weekend!

Amazing location and facility.

Amazing location and facility.
Service was hit and miss (eg had to ask twice over several hours to get room made up, given conflicting info from staff about late check out and kids meal policy, hotel babysitter didn't change child's soiled clothing or call, etc... but also some really good service too) and vegetarian meals so-so.

I came to the delta for my Sister's bachlorette, and the pub was busy. Not unusual, so no biggie but the server snapped at us as we were merely standing there looking for an available spot. "We're FULL!" Is what she said without even making eye contact. After asking how long of a wait it might be, another snap "I don't know, we're just FULL!"

So we went to the fireside grill. It took 40 minutes to get drinks, and an hour to get bread. After 2 hours we finally got our food
At best it was mediocre, one calamari was soggy and undercooked while they charged $15 for 5 peices of small shr

The setting was gorgeous and the weather truly brought out what winter in Canadian Rockys is like. Hands down the best experience in that aspects.
Here is the bad part of hotel though. The room was steamy hot at 28DegC. Well , I thought that just needed some time for thermostat to adjust but throughout the whole night it was 28DegC and hot air was constantly blowing the whole night. The next nor ing I called the front desk and they said some one will come by and look at it. When I returned, the heater was not blowing any air and it was starting to get stuffy. So I called the front desk again and the front desk person was informing me that the whole hotel heater system was designed to blow only hot air and if they turn it on only hot air will be emitted, and it is same for all rooms. Now I am from Alberta and ever hotel I stayed does have hot and cold blowing system and all houses was also design the same way. But the front desk argued that this is a hotel heating system and works slightly differently. After 30mins later, my 3 year old daughter and I could not take the stuffiness and called again and the same front desk person picked up the phone. He was telling me that it is pointless to get their technical people in my room to look at the air ventilation system as it will only blow hot air. When I requested can it be turned on again and he just told me it is going to blow hot air only and the technical engineers would have to go up and switch it off again. We ended the 2nd call just like that. I called the third time after another 10mins later as I was seeing that my daughter as starting to get fever. Not saying it is related. The same front desk person picked up and I explicitly say please send an engineer up to turn on the blower. When the engineer can he said that a few rooms were having issue with their thermostat and he recommended that I open the window should it get too hot for us. The engineer was apologetic about our room heater.
I think coming clean about heater not working I some room would be acceptable, rather than arguing with the client. What an ugly ordeal in such a nice natural setting.

BEWARE!! This is NOT a Marriott property. Moreover, they are highway robbers. Charged me $457 for a cancellation made well within the allowed days. They are pretty horrible to deal with. You have anything beyond the ordinary, they will give you hell. Try staying at a different place. Trust me this hotel isn't worth the $ you will spend. Never had such a bad experience.

Stopped by for a quick lunch with some family from out of town while driving through the mountains. Will have to be back this Resort is absolutely beautiful. The Crack Fries and chicken wings were delicious. There are pathss within walking distance that have amazing views. I'll certainly be back soon!

Ok so there was no hot water in our room. The hot tub was the temperature of water my 6 year old usually bathes in but you know what? Things happen and they handled it as best as they could.

The hotel is beautiful! The setting is amazing! Being in the beautiful Canadian Rockies just steps away from Nakiska. There are many amenities for you to enjoy both at the hotel and outside it all year round. Should you wish to partake in the spa I advise you book your time ahead or be prepared to wait, but rest assured it IS worth the wait.

The hotel is amazing for events and banquets as well!
