Came to Del Vecchios for dinner, I think they mostly do pick up orders but I still had a good experience. Small but nice place and good service. We had the calzone and chicken Alfredo and it was really good food at very good price.

Best affordable old-school Italian in town. Highly recommended.

Extremely nice staff. Great menu, variety of natural canned sodas, no soda on tap (hurray!). But their pizza... Pie and marinara itself will tell you all about the quality, I need an extra star in a rating section to measure it up appropriately. Big chunks of tomatoes. Please come and check it out.

Food was excellent and I grew up with an Italian momma and family in the Northeast and was impressed!!
Highlights included a slice of crispy cheese pizza, huge and awesome...one bite everyone knows the rules. 7.6 score!
Sausage and pepper sub fantastic.
Italian hoagie weighed about 3 lbs. Fried ravioli app and a calzone.
1 negative was dessert, over priced and not the greatest.
Will definitely be a new regular spot!

Would probably go 4 stars, but my take out order was completely wrong. They should probably mark those calzones in the oven or something because if I got a mushroom and mystery meat calzone someone else got my sausage and pepper calzone, and now they have not one but two disappointed customers.

It was still pretty good, everything seemed fresh.

The food is great and the service is above par. Hard to go wrong here!

The fried dough with lemon glaze is Delicious! The staff are helpful & sweet. They make you feel Welcome everytime you visit.

Never been disappointed. My personal favorite is the roasted pork loin sub with gruyere and apricot horseradish spread. I was sad when they removed jalapeno poppers from the menu, but if they weren't selling well it's understandable.

I ordered carry out from here because I saw they have Chicago deep dish pizza, one of only two pizza places that I know of in the Asheville area that serves this. I was born and raised in Chicago and grew up on many different restaurants version of that. This was a good take on it. I was excited and happy to see they offer vegan cheese too, not something many pizza places do. The biggest downfall was their sauce is watery so not only did the cheese slide to one half of the box (you can see in the pic there are cheese-less slices), but when I slid it out of the back seat of the car, my seat (and eventually my clothes) got covered in pizza juice lol. They should recommend putting it on the floor so it can lay flat.

The fries were good, just a hint of garlic flavor, and I got them without the Parmesan cheese. The garlic bread was really good, especially with the dipping marinara. Great value for what you get. The dessert fried dough was bland without the lemon sauce, and delicious with the sauce. It says it has sugar sprinkled on it, but I couldn t tell, it just tasted like dough to me. The zucchini pancake was probably my favorite of everything. I ordered it to have for breakfast this weekend since I was going to be staying up late and not feeling like cooking. It s really good with and without the marinara dipping sauce.

I appreciate they are offering curbside service. When you order online it says you will get text updates, but I only got one that said my order was placed. I ended up calling when it was 15 minutes after the time it said it would be ready and they said to listen for my name when they bring it out, someone would call for me. Less than 5 minutes later a nice woman called me from the door and I waved her over to my car.

Pizza is lovely. BUT... You should not have to wait 2 hours for pizza to be delivered. Ever. Mozzerella sticks arrived cold. Pizza was delicious but lukewarm. I thought it was fantastic but as a traveler from out of town having to wait 2 hours for food is ridic. No matter how good it is. Get your delivery act together.

Ordered through grub hub. The pasta was delicious. Perfectly cooked. Perfectly spiced. Didn t even need salt. Would absolutely recommend. Would like to say that it was a late Saturday night order, quality was not compromised.

Very, very good first visit. May have a new favorite pizza place! Ordered the Sicilian pie and garlic knots. The crust on the pie was soft on top with a crisp bottom. The knots were on point. Good prices to boot!

Tonight was the first time my wife and I eat there and it was really good! I highly recommend this place for good Italian food.

The food is great, but if your are in a rush or are a delivery person, this is a must skip place. Went here and waited for 30 minutes for a pizza that should have been done when I arrived. Will be declining all there deliveries from here on out.

As someone trained I'm pizzerias, I can confidently say this place has GOT IT! The pizza is amazing and the few things we got with it are well done. I envy the staff for having the opportunity to eat this food daily!

All of the food is wonderful, but special precaution should be taken when ordering the Chicago style pizza. Do not operate heavy machinery after eating as the food coma is strong with this. Great place.

Reasonably priced and very good quality. With only the first visit, this place just made our list of regulars!

I stopped in tonight to get some food to go. The guy I talked to was super knowledgeable and even warned me I was ordering too much food. We ordered the lasagna, side of meatballs, side of sausage, and the antipasto salad. As a Philly girl I am in love!!! If you want good Italian food in Asheville, this is the only place to go.

Ate there again. Tried the cacciatore this time and it was exceptional. I can't get enough of their garlic knots.

I'm giving 2 stars because the food is really good and that's the only reason.
I get food delivered to my job pretty regularly, and it seems that almost every single time we order from this place, something goes wrong.
A few weeks ago, we ordered and the total came to be like $32 and eta was 45 minutes. No problem.
2 1/2 hours later....here they come. AND quoted $10 more than what we were told over the phone. Asked for a receipt? He didn't have one. It was gone. We paid it...but then called and asked what had happened to increase the price, they did not have a reasonable answer other than "im sure it was a miscomunication". ....And apparently the drivers car had broken down....the whole story sounded so fishy because if a car truly breaks down, the first thing a driver is to do is call the restaurant and let them know, and then the restaurant would've called us to let us know what was going on. I did not believe it for one second.
I Decided to give it another chance tonight, ordered a grilled chicken garden salad, no chicken once it arrived. I'm just done ordering from here to be honest.

The pizza here is so good. We got the supreme pizza and the flavors were amazing. The crust also has a good texture to it, although, if you get a really large pizza then it has a hard time holding the weight of a lot of toppings. If you are craving great quality pizza, then definitely give this place a try.

Best food in Asheville food is beautiful real value

Sandwiches were giant, pizza and fries were delicious. Prices are very fair for the portion size. Maybe our new favorite to go place.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Very friendly service, and the pasta dishes and garlic knots are delicious. I cannot eat dairy, but Del Vecchios always makes sure to do a custom order without sacrificing the great taste.

Jennifer said the Meatball Sub was good, and she was correct. Meatball and Chicken Parm Subs are the BEST! Pizza is excellent. Good portions. Practice very good Social Distancing.

Ordered at 6:30 for delivery, they said 40-45 min. Just got a text from the driver at 8:45 that they are still waiting. I dont understand how it can take 2 1/2 hours for a calzone. Will not do this again. Food did not arrive until after 9.

We loed our food! we ordered spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmesan, pizza, salad, meatball sub, it was great! Service was fast as well.

Ordered from here a few times, and while I've not experienced the same delivery complications others have seemed to experience the food has never really struck me as amazing or even delicious. Every time, the food has disappointed and has not left me wishing to recommend this place to a friend.

One slice is humongous!! Have not tried other options. Stuck on pizza. Very convenient -on Merrimon Ave.

Wow!! We had no idea. Greek salad was awesome but then we got the pizza and mam, I could only eat 1 slice. But it was great!!

Small seating cafe style not suitable for large groups. Staff nice, though not overly accommodating. Food prepared as expected though would highly consider ordering to go if you're looking for a bit of ambiance Overall I would recommend giving them a try.

First time ordering from Del Vecchios and the customer service was unacceptable. Food was cold 1/2 gallon of tea not delivered, no utensils or condiments. All this listed on order. When I contacted the restaurant was told that's why we should have picked it up instead of delivery. Our truck broke down on I40 this morning @ 9:30 a.m. having to be towed. Therefore, no transportation. We got to our hotel at 5:45 p.m. Most inconsiderate response from any restaurant staff I've ever received. At this point,, couldn't enjoy the food. So frustrating. Waiting for response from Uber Eats since they were the delivery service.

I've eaten at Del Vecchios many times and it's always great. But tonight, for the first time, we tried the traditional Supreme pizza. It might have been the best pizza I've ever had!! So dang good!! Pizza is a treat we don't often indulge in but tonight was so worth the calories and carbs!! Thanks, Del Vecchios!!

Pie was to die for, crust was ah-mazing and the home made Italian dressing WOW delicious!!! Fast and friendly service oh the toasted ravioli was a hit too!! We're stuffed and STILL eating!!! FABULOUS restaurant thank you!!

Ordered on Postmates for over $100. Waited for two hours. Said we don't take orders from Postmates and tore up the receipt. Completely ridiculous.

They've figured out how to make vegan calzones and strombolis with perfectly melted cheese! This is one of the only pizza places in town that makes me feel like I'm back in the northeast. The service is always awesome!
