Very good food. No alcohol sold seating area very small. Very good food though.

Plain cheese pizza was incredibly greasy. So much so as the grease was actually leaking through the box when delivered. Italian name for business but definitely not a good Italian pizza!

Every time I order it's always tastes really good. And they are quick when I delivery with door dash. I will definitely keep ordering their delicious food.

We had this delivered to our bed and breakfast while we were in Asheville. It's probably the HEAVIEST pizza I've ever seen. Full of meat and cheese and goodness. LOVED it! Hot, fresh and to our door.

Antipasto is amazing. Gluten free pasta with whatever sauce you choose is delicious. They also have 14" gluten free pizza, that's the biggest you will find G free anywhere.

They deliver! And their food is really good!! And they're nice!!

Disappointing. Everything was about 5 minutes over-cooked and chewy. Only reason three stars vs two is since it was delivered by DoorDash; benefit of doubt on continuous cooking during the delivery. Even still, the pizza sauce and ranch were soullessly bland. Hopefully another not-so-soon visit will provide redemption.

Terrific. Great food. Timing is a problem. Promised 35 minutes. Took 50...due to order load. I would have liked to been told that BEFORE I drove across town. Then sat and waited....
Under these conditions, I wanted to walk in, get my food and leave. Otherwise. Love the place!

During these COVID times, it's been nice to see businesses band together to support the community. Well some of them. Del Vecchios, on the other hand, wouldn't even sneeze on you if you were engulfed in flames, writhing in pain. Horrendous customer service. -5 stars.

Excellent pizza...that's saying allot for North Carolina, believe me...

Ordered a salad and calzone for delivery at my office today. HUGE portions and I even have enough left to take home and share. Not at all happy that they didn't include any utensils or napkins though. I had to go all the way to the first floor break room to find some and then my calzone was cold and soggy. Still good but after previously working in food service for YEARS, it is my number one pet peeve when people don't include utensils with salad or napkins especially with something you know is going to be a little messy.

Soggy pizza and over an hour wait for takeout. No thank you!

Best pizza and garlic knots I've had in a long time

Best salads ever. So beautiful you almost hate to eat them. Subs are awesome, chicken gorgonzola pasta dish is amazing don't miss the garlic knots! They deliver too!

Our practice had a catered lunch from DV today. It was the first time any of us had tried it. It was simply delicious, and made with fresh ingredients. The crust was divine, and you could taste the care put into each dish. They certainly gained some new regulars today!

Pizza was a little greasy but still tasty. Very filling. Greek salad is out of this world.

Delicious food. Terrible service. Tonight would have been our third visit. We drove 45 mins to get some of their Chicago deep dish, which is excellent. Our first visit, we had a waitress who was running the counter and waiting on the tables by herself and it was her first night. She was excellent. Tonight, however, there were two of them in there. I had to go to the counter to get a menu while they sat there, one of them on her cellphone. As I grabbed a menu, she told me to come back to the counter to order. We left shortly after, without ordering, as it was clear the employees had no interest in customer service. And they were not busy.

My husband and I were in Asheville for our anniversary and decided to try this place. Everything we had was beyond phenomenal!!! I cannot recommend this place enough. Please please please go get food here. You will not be sorry! And if you order the Chicago style pizza, please understand those take a little longer to cook.

What a gem! We are in Asheville for the weekend and stumbled upon this place looking for late night take out. Pizza - excellent; crust had a great texture and toppings were top notch. Wings - delicious with a bit of a kick. Salad - fresh and crunchy with a great Italian dressing. Garlic knots - YUM. Chocolate mousse - rich and chocolatey. Tiramisu - perfectly sweet and creamy.

But best thing of all were the absolutely lovely people working there. Could not have been nicer. Packed everything up perfectly for us and included plenty of plates, napkins, and cutlery. Would definitely order again the next time we are in Asheville.

Haven't had a bad dish here. Love their pasta options and their pizza has always been cooked perfectly. This is my go to Pizza spot.

Awesome place on Merrimon. They have Subs, pasta, pizza, salad, and many other choices. The food is very large so you can bring some home.

Excellent experience with the delivery service. The food was fresh and the portions were beyond reasonable for the price. I did call to make sure my order was received and contrary to previous reviews I found the person on the other end of the line to be overly accommodating and incredibly helpful. I will order again! So nice having this as a delivery option in Asheville! :):):)

First time here. We had the roast beef sub and the Italian. Fantastic sandwiches, definitely driving out from Marshall for these again.

Excellent portions of delicious pasta with great service.

My son and I have stopped there from a bus that runs every 30 minutes. In that time, we can usually each get a delicious slice of pizza and a drink and still have plenty of time to catch the next bus. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The supreme pizza is chock full of great ingredients.

I usually order the Panini's and they are very good as are the homemade chips they come with , the pizza is excellent too.

The pizza was great, very tasty with an excellent crust; the spinach salad was outstanding, made me want to order from them whenever I come to Asheville. This is a great place for delivery to a hotel! Can't wait to visit after the pandemic and try the rest of the menu. Was very happy about this, as not all of our food delivery has been of this quality. Spot on!

Chicago deep dish was fantastic and the alfredo was one of the best in town!

Busy busy busy which meant food was awesome. Nice sized salad with pickled red onions that were awesome. Garlic knots tough but the marinara was heavenly delicious. Got a 14" supreme and it was awesome. Recommend carry out or delivery. Not a very big place and seating is crowded. Could use some minor housekeeping also.

I m not one to write reviews ever. But this food was trash. Very dissatisfied and disappointed, it was a waste of money. The steak on the philly sandwich tasted had absolutely zero flavor, the bread was stale. The cannolis were very overpriced and tiny, again with no flavor.

I ordered our pizza through Uber Eats, which we use all the time. When the pizzas arrived, one of them was completely wrong. I called Del Vecchios to try and come up with some resolution and the person on the phone continued to argue with me that their order ticket said to remove all the toppings from a specialty pizza. Which first off, why? Why would I have ordered a just cheese and crust pizza for $6 more than I needed to pay? And second, the cheese and crust pizza was not what I ordered. Repeated attempts to explain to their manager that on my app it is saying something completely different, were dismissed. The manager kept saying, sorry that s what we have and it s not my problem. So now I have a pizza that was supposed to have garlic, tomato, basil and cheese, that is just cheese and crust. There was no customer service or even an attempt for customer recovery. It was such an unpleasant experience. Del Vecchio s has long held on in our house and hearts despite ultra long wait times because their pizza was great. But ultimately, great service can make up for bad food, but great food can never make up for bad service.

Food is outstanding, portions are huge, prices are incredible for the amount and quality you get. Best kept secret in Asheville, hands down. I eat here almost every week.

Small joint but big menu! Plenty to choose from and you don't have to wait 2 hours for a table. Great Italian food! We got the Zucchini pancakes, garlic fries and we each went for the fettuccini Alfredo! Enough for left overs the next day. Check them out!

Waited 1 hour for 1 average pizza . I own a pizza restaurant and it should never take an hour to make a pizza no matter how busy a place says they are. Average food should not make the customer wait 1 hour. Crust was like chewing cardboard, sauce is watery and cheese is low grade. I try to eat local but sometimes I get burned, today was one of those days.

I had the spinach ravioli & it was amazing - it came with delicious garlic knots. The chocolate mousse was not too sweet . Delivery was fast and friendly after ordering online. What a treat!

They serve some of the best Pizza in town. I work as a Door Dasher and this is one of the most popular restaurants I deliver for. I finally had to try it myself and loved it.

The absolute worst chicken parm sandwich I've ever atempted to eat. The chicken was a frozen chicken patty, the tomato sauce is absolutely horrible!

I drive from Mars Hill to get the Chicago style pizza. Oh my gosh is it delicious!!! And there's always leftovers.... Yummy

Update: On 7/8/18, when my fiance and I called this restaurant to speak with a manager, the employee who answered the phone stated "Uh, we're really busy right now. Can I take down your information and the manager will call you back?" So we gave the information over. Guess what? No call as of today, July 10th. Horrible customer service and management.

I debated for awhile on whether or not I should post this review, but I hope that it will be taken into careful consideration from the employees. I have ordered from this location on several occasions - at least five times in the last three months. Each order is always place with the anxiety of whether or not I am going to receive what I ordered. Four of the five times I have ordered their large Garden Salad with chicken added for protein. Such addition warrants an up-charge (which is fine - I am more than happy to pay the difference); however, whenever the salad I order is delivered it is ALWAYS wrong. In just the last hour (on 7/8/18) I ordered the exact same thing, and what I received is a small salad with no chicken and the incorrect dressing!

The first two times this happened, I overlooked it as a small mistake and made excuses for them - perhaps the location was busy, new staff, etc. But this has happened every. single. time! I can't keep overlooking it, especially when I am PAYING for the cost of the chicken, size of the salad, etc. It's inexcusable at this point. The location is being rated low because it is unreliable, which is not good business practice. I shouldn't have to double-check my meal every time I order to be sure that they followed through with what their customer has ordered. It's a salad! It's not like I'm modifying it in some outrageous way either. I am simply selecting what their menu has to offer, and yet they cannot meet the demand. I am discouraged from placing orders here, and I strongly feel that the staff lacks concern for their failures. Please inform your staff to be more thorough. I cannot be the only customer this frustrated.

Ordered through doordash at our hotel, food arrived fast and it was so fresh and delicious! When I come back to Asheville, will order again!

First time eating at Del Vecchios there was a mistake, our pizza was taken out as a delivery order but they were super good about making the mistake right. Ended up making a whole new pizza and not charging me for it. Got the food home and it was hands down the best Italian food me and my family has had in a VERY long time! We ordered for the second time this evening and tried some other items on their menu. No mistake this time and again the food was AMAZING!!! We have definitely found a new favorite for Italian, in my opinion even Strada better watch out for Del Vecchios!!! Fair pricing, great and friendly service, and awesome food... Thats what you get at Del Vecchios!
