Great food, but call way ahead to go, because it takes longer than you think it should to get your food. My only real complaint is lack of parking which they can t really help. We order a few times a month and never disappointed.

Delicious pizza! Bought their Margherita 18" (it was huge!) and was not disappointed. I don't think I've ever had a Margherita pizza. It doesn't have many frills, just mozzarella, garlic/oil/herb base, tomato, and fresh basil. My pregnant wife was craving it. Anyway, some of the best pizza I've ever had (and I have had some good slices). I think I'm addicted. Definitely recommend them, and will be back for more.
As another person just stated they have quit delivering to my address as well, yet have been there numerous times in the past. As a matter of fact, we placed the order and received a phone call 15 minutes later stating they couldn't deliver our dinner. We are exactly 5.8 miles from the business. I understand that is over the new rule of 5 miles, but would have to agree they need to update their website to reflect that. Very disappointing! We enjoyed the food and convenience of delivery but they have taken that away.
I'm grateful for the supreme pizza, one of many quality pizzas from the pizza epicenter. Del Vecchios is where it's at, hands down. Catering included!
This was the best Italian place I've been too! The staff was so friendly, GREAT service, the food was great. The garlic knots . The salads were wonderful too. Just make sure you come hungry because you'll want to try everything on the menu!
My fiance and I had a fantastic cozy dinner here on a rainy evening. The man behind the counter had wonderful conversation with us and was super friendly and engaging. Our food was decent priced and fantastic! Great experience all in all, I would definitely go back.

Is there such a thing as too many toppings? In a calzone...yes. Delicious but it was so jam packed with toppings you could barely tell there was crust. Too many toppings also leads to too much grease. But again it was delicious, maybe next time I'll just try a plain pie.
Just finished my first slice of Chicago deep dish. From a Chicagoan born and raised, good job Del Vecchios. You satisfied my need for a little back home nostalgia. I will definitley purchase again.

Everything is EXCELLENT in the little hole-in-the-wall. Limited seating for maybe 20 people including the bar. They primarily do delivery and catering. All styles of pizza, including Chicago and Sicilian. Also pizza by the slice! The staff is the best. We <3 Del Vecchios!
80% of this del Vecchio's menu is comprised of foods unknown to Italy; recipes interpreted inaccurately, without knowledge, sophistication or flair.
Unfortunately for Asheville there is not a real Italian alternative, so enjoy the status quo.

Absolutely, by far, some of the best Italian food I've ever had. I've had Wolfgang, Teralina, Via Napoli, you name it, and Del Vecchios holds their own against them. Super friendly staff too!

Small and clean atmosphere. Tastefully decorated with a few well chosen prints. I ordered a simple spaghetti and meatballs and they prepared it like an exquisite meal. Sauce was homemade and delicately peppered with just the right amount of spices. Good sized chunks of tomato complimented the dish. Rolls were parmesan loaded and a nice addition.
Service was excellent. Pizzas are genuinely made. I personally want a huge fan of the pizza, but that's not to say that they were bad in any sense.

Most places skimp on pizza toppings, but this beautiful place actually puts toppings on. Also, the crust is just amazing - I don't know how they do it. Seriously though, good pizza and the staff is friendly - everyone should try Del Vecchios.
The Chicago deep dish is so good! Bring a crowd or plan on eating the leftovers for days.

This place is just plain awesome. Great people working there, the food is authentic, delicious, and a great price. Especially considering the serving sizes. Close to downtown, neighborhood feel. This is what Asheville used to feel like before everything became polished and run by million dollar backers. Support these folks.

Ate dinner there last week. Excellent spaghetti, salad, and bread (garlic knots). The menu is extensive and everything looks and smells good. Not fancy but polite staff, great food, and reasonable prices. We will be back when we return to the area.

Its just a little place in a strip of a couple of stores.But the sub sandwich I got was enough to feed me 3X and it was really good. Can't wait to get the eggplant parm sub and the meatballs. Good to call ahead and pick up but they do have tables. Good prices.

Great food.. but if you order from a delivery service or even pick up orders you better order about an hour and a half before you re ready to eat. Ordered at 6:30, order wasn t ready until 8:30 ridiculous.
Pizza s pretty good. Great price for the quality and size ($19 for a 1 topping extra large). The spicy wings are fantastic! Just enough heat while also have a little sweet tang to them. Definitely recommended.
Lasagna was excellent also their Pizza fries were very very good I would highly recommend going there for beats up or other Italian food friendly Service as well small from outside, food was an expensive

This is a good choice for pizza for sure. Be careful what you order because the pizzas are huge. The wait can be a bit long sometimes but what good food in Asheville doesn't.
Food delivery was extremely late a full half hour past the latest time estimated on the GrubHub order confirmation. I did contact restaurant inquiring about my food. The first time I was told it's on the way. Fast forward another 20 minutes still no food so I call again and was placed on hold for 5 minutes to receive a rude "well listen I have customers here to deal with it'll be there sometime manager saids delivery driver is on the road" and then before I could ask anything or speak was hung up on. If you don't want to starve to death waiting on food and get terrible customer service I advise you to avoid ordering from this restaurant.
Excellent food. Excellent employees, seems to be a busy spot. Real Italian food. Very flavourful. I got the chicken cheese steak sub. I highly recommend. My husband and daughter shared a 18 inch pizza. And my other daughter got the garlic knots. Relaxing atmosphere..... Overall A+++++

Got their Stromboli and made my own custom concoction. The Stromboli tasted really fresh. The Caesar salad was good too with fresh grated Parmesan cheese and a garlic knot.

The pizza was delicious. We ordered over the phone and had to wait a little bit when we picked up because a basketball team had come in with a huge order but the proprietor gave us garlic knots (which were amazing!) to munch while we waited so we were happy to watch basketball for a bit and wait. Everyone who worked there seemed super friendly and the pizza was clearly made with love or high quality ingredients, one or the other.

We have had good pizza here we LOVE the pepperoni--Classic. But today, because we were feeling sad and the world is kind of sad these days, we decided wed plunk down for the deep DISH chicago style 14'' and really do it in style. We wanted comfort. More like deep DISHapointment. First of all, it is not even chicago style the crust is thin like ny style. Furthermore, the top layer of pizza crust becomes soggy very quickly. Furthermore, the pizza was almost all mozzarella, which overwhelmed the other ingredients. Nothing about the pizza specifically was horrible but it was completely not worth 35 dollars and overall not much better than your average Red Baron. For that much money we were really expecting some incredible pizza.This was just ok pizza, three times larger than usual and twice the price. Still recommending them for anyone look ing for a good slice of pepperoni tho.

Pros - food was good and wait time was fairly accurate (only about ten minutes over predicted time).
Cons - Tried calling multiple times, got through twice. The first time I was put on hold for 5 minutes by the girl at the front counter. The second time I was put on hold again, but she eventually got back to the phone. She asked for my name, I told it to her, she yelled in my ear "HELLOOOOOOO!" before hanging up on me promptly. So I drove to the restaurant, went in, told her what happened and she said, "Oh, usually when I put someone on hold they hang up immediately" and "I didn't hear anything at the end of the line" (I was not quiet in stating my name). So I placed my order, waited for the allotted time, got my food. I asked for an extra order of marinara which was forgotten and they had already closed down so I couldn't go in and ask for it. Also, while the Stromboli I ordered was good, I really don't think that, given the serving side, it should have been set at its given price point. I should also note I've worked in food service for 7+ years, including pizza, before working in my current field. I was appalled by the girl at the counter's attitude, and I really hope that her attitude is not a reflection of the business as a whole. Also, her mask wasn't covering her face during the COVID pandemic. Will not return.

NO GOOD!!!! Ordered a delivery, no food no call, I tried to call the driver no response. I called the restaurant they called the driver with no response!!! I'm disputing the charges. I will never order from these people again.

Del Vecchio's has really good New York style pizza slices and lasagna. I've eaten there 10+ times and they're always pumping out a ton of orders so you know it's good. It's not a fast food joint so give yourself plenty of time on your order especially on Friday or Saturday night.

After having left Vinnie's due a 90 minute wait, we decided to try Del Vecchios, and are very glad we did! The food was fantastic, and waitstaff was super friendly! As we were about to leave, our waiter asked if we would like a free pizza, as an extra one was prepared and they didn't need it. They even threw in an extra piece of cheese cake at the end!

I got the chicken parm. The people there kept me entertained while the meal was being prepared. The whole plate was perfect temperature so i didnt burn my mouth off plus it tasted AMAZING. Props to these homies. They got a great tip.
I found my new favorite restaurant!!! The calzones are absolutely delicious! I have ordered the same exact one 3 days in a row now (CYO with ham, bacon & 2x pineapple,) & don t see myself stopping anytime soon. Great prices and quality of food!
We are vacationing in Asheville, NC and we had a pizza craving. We found Del Vecchio s on Google and ordered a pizza through GrubHub. The pizza was delivered on time to our hotel room and was hot and delicious. The sauce was very fresh and was a sprinkling of fresh basil, which was wonderful! The crust was crispy with a delightful chewiness.
Chicken parm sub was delicious. I have heard others rave about the pizza as well. Highly recommended.
