Awesome drinks. Wide variety of cocktails. Food is tasty but not exceptional. The crowd is fun and diverse. Great clothing for souvenirs. Strongly recommend for anyone visiting the financial district

Outstanding, Outstanding, Outstanding

Outstanding, Outstanding, Outstanding
We loved this place so much we ended up going two times in two days. The first time was this past Saturday morning for brunch. The Irish breakfast was outstanding. My boyfriend had a burger which was delicious. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. We returned the next day, Sunday, after we completed the Five Borough Ride. Once again the food was great. We had a corned beef sandwich and my boyfriend had another burger. BTW their fries are the best around. And WOW, the Irish Coffee is the best ever! The bartender was decent, a different bartender, not as good as the ones on Saturday morning. She was friendly, however, the drinks took awhile. This place has definitely been added to our list of NYC favorites.

Visited here on a recommendation from a friend. We went just for a drink and had a great time. Would recommend the superhero cocktail !! Sat downstairs and had great service. Would like to go back and try the food!

We read that the dead rabbit was the number one bar in the world. Is there any other place you should go? We went and had a scotch whiskey and Pearl Jam. Unusual flavors, but really, really good. The food was good as well.

It was a loud, Close Quarters type of environment. Exactly what you would expect from an Irish Pub. If we're back in New York. Definitely go back to the drinks again..

Visited the taproom and it is absolutely amazing. The vibe transports you to Ireland and the music adds to the charm. They even have sawdust spread over the floors like an old school ale house. The cocktails here are one of the tastiest I've had as well; try the Pearl Jam if you like whiskey cocktails.

The best bar in the whole world. I recommend the "Spark Plug" and the "Irish Coffee". It's been established since 1828 so it's old. I don't really know the relationship with the old timey gang. This is an Irish pub with a wide variety of drinks.

Absolutely delicious and well-blended/balanced cocktails, and an excellently elevated grilled ham and cheese. When I went, the floor was pretty clean, although I hear there is sawdust on the floor occasionally and gives it more of a pub feel. As it was when I went, it felt very homey but elevated Irish pub. Great music.

My go to place in New York City. It cannot be topped in my opinion. I highly recommend their own Irish Red Ale as it s amazing along with any of their traditional Irish dishes (especially the corned beef sandwich around St Patrick s Day). Sooooo goood. Go here if you find yourself in FiDi.

Now you would think being in New York it would be all American places! However there seem to be ALOT of Irish bars to visit.

This is defiantly one of the better ones! The cocktails are bot cheap but they are defiantly worth the money.

They are very attentive and have a great eye for detail!

Thanks very much :-)

I have to say Dead Rabbit is by far my favorite bar in New York. The employees are all very friendly and personable. They take the time to help you with drink orders and make amazing cocktails. If you make it up to The Parlor on the 2nd floor it steps up the game to another level. Greeted with a sample of one of their punches and the menu is a comic with cocktails and a fun, gritty story. There are different sets of drinks in the Parlour so ask to be put on the list and they will call you when room in available. Everytime I visit Dead Rabbit I remember why it's my favorite nyc bar.

The Dead Rabbit is the best cocktail bar on the planet. Amazing staff. Delicious drinks. The 2nd Floor is incredible. Can t say enough great things about this place. Cozy and comfy feels, delicious food, best drinks in the city.

Great atmosphere and drinks but struggled to get the attention of the bar staff who were busy chatting amongst themselves, and couldn t get even an approximate time frame for a table for 3 people. After 2 hours wait we ordered in the bar, the burgers were dry and bland with stale buns and the chips tasted like the oil needed changing. As we were about to leave we were finally buzzed to tell us our table was ready. 2hrs 30mins wait for a table? Not worth the wait.

One of my favorite places in NYC. The food is amazing, the drinks are wicked, and it's just a good time. It's a bit pricey, but then again it's New York. Do yourself a favor and try their burger.

It's fine I guess? It's a "nicer" bar than hyde out down the street but the tradeoff is character and sort of a too young crowd, at least when it comes to getting a drink on your own. But if you were say, on a date, this would be a better option than hyde out unless the person you're on a date with is real cool. I wouldn't come out of my way to go here though.

Visited NYC and stayed at a hotel just a few doors down from the dead rabbit. We went around 330pm on Saturday, it was packed but 100% WORTH THE WAIT!!! We waited for a table upstairs (seating only) downstairs in the taproom you can get drinks as well, but I wanted the atmosphere of upstairs and I m so glad we waited. Our bartender had A LOT of customers but she did a fantastic job. The decor is cool and it s cozy inside. We got Irish coffees and they were legit the best we have ever had. We also got their hot chocolate boozy drink and that was amazing too. I feel like any drink you order would be amazing, they really put a lot into each drink. Also I think if you don t actually order an Irish coffee they bring you a small sized one to try at some point.... because they are literally just that good.

This was my favorite bar in NYC!

The Dead Rabbit is a super fun bar and place to come. I have never been upstairs but I hear it is a nice place to hang out and there is more seating. The bar is decorated with old photos all over the walls. The bar is super tiny and there is often a tight squeeze. However, it is a great place to come hang for a drink. You might have to wait outside to get in for a bit, but there are plenty of fun bars nearby to bide your time until you can get in.

My friend told me this was rated worlds best bar and all I can say is I completely agree. We got there early so we missed the crowd rush, but from what my friend told me the wait can be pretty long. Despite that, their cocktails are great! I got the kith and kin! Its fruity, so for anyone who likes fruity highly recommend.

Top notch. Super cool, low light, cosy and contemporary styled bar. Good crowd, laid back feel with friendly staff. I was under the impression that when I visited I was exposed to the best cocktails they had to offer...... Oh well, my mistake. There are 2 sections, the bar available to all downstairs and the upstairs which is by appointment only. The bar downstairs offers some awesome cocktails but the bar upstairs, stop the press! They make some really wild and awesome tasting cocktails, on par with some of the best speakeasy/cocktail bars in my hometown of Copenhagen. Must visit!

Amazing cocktails in a great atmosphere, one of the best bars in the city. The Irish coffee is outstanding and the Irish whiskey selection vast. Brunch food is great too with a lot of variety. I take all of my out of town friends here.
