The most hyped cocktail bar in recent history more than lives up to it -- and is worth putting up with the rush hour-like crowds and the hour-long wait for a table upstairs. It does everything with such meticulous attention to detail, such inventive approaches to tradition, that you can't help but be amazed everytime you're here.

This is a pretty cool place that is located right on the financial district. The inside is pretty cool as it has sand all over the bar and the bartender is attentive and offered us her recommendation based on what we liked. The food we had was good but small portions and we left hungry. Overall a good place to pop in for a quick drink and small bites of you're in the area.

Rated best bar in the world for a reason. I've had the best cocktails of my life there. Of course, it is always crowded due to the popularity of the place, but if you hesitate to wait 1h to get access to the upstairs room, doubt no more : it is worth it.

Don't bother going to the bar on the mainlevel, just put your name down for a table upstairs and wait outside. This is an amazing spot with amazing cocktails and gives you a very old world NY feel but the main level is not for the squeamish or claustrophobic!

Downstairs, it's always super cramped and uncomfortably so, the grain-dust on the ground is a nice touch but it adds to the grossness of the space when crowded. Really sucks when it rains.

Upstairs isn't very spacious either but the experience is well worth the wait-time. The drink selection is even larger and the best cocktails I've ever had, hands down. The food is also very delicious. Get the lobster deviled eggs and the lamb chops!

Wow! Had a chance to visit all three floors. Every floor is different with its unforgettable atmosphere, drinks and service. Must try an Irish coffee, one of their signatures. Hopefully, the kitchen will be opened very soon; the whole food menu will become available; and people will be able to try an amazing food. Go ! Try! Have fun!

Fantastic atmosphere. Even better drinks. There's a reason this place is now the best bar in the world.

The place feels like you're living the early 20th century, despite being only a few years old. Food's pretty tasty too.

Apart from the amazing service and delicious food, this is one of the most amazing bars. Their drinks are to die for and definitely worth a trip not only that their Irish coffee is exactly as they describe it, often imitated never better.

Yep. There's a reason why this spot was voted best bar in America, it is delicious! We tried 7 of their signature cocktails and not a single disappointed. Sure their prices are expensive ($18 per cocktail) but they are worth it.

The food is really good I highly recommend the sausage rolls in particular! That said, the drinks are kind of lackluster. There was only one drink on the menu that was impressive (the one with the melon), but the rest were less than inspiring. They were also totally unable to make custom cocktails.

They were "closed" when I stopped by. Just a few guys standing around the open door. One man saying to me "no, it's closed" repeatedly when I asked why and when it would be open. None of the other men would speak up, despite them hearing my inquiries.

Dead Rabbit is one of the best cocktail spots in NYC. It has been rated the best bar in the world in 2016, so that says a lot.

It is a multi-storied building with each floor providing a different experience. In order to get to the second and third floors there is usually a wait of an hour or two. However, in the meantime, you are able to drink at the bar on the first floor which also serves some of their famous cocktails.

The Irish Coffee is a must have for everyone. They mix it perfectly at the right temperature. They have a good selection of other cocktails too ranging from 1-6 based on their potency.

The food is good as well especially their deviled eggs. The ambience on the second and third floors is good for dates or to just chill with friends.

It's nice to enter this place and be overwhelmed by the energy of the bartenders.
It is nice to have the opportunity to eat something at the counter, drinking excellent cocktails or just a pint of beer ... but above all, the atmosphere given in this old style place is beautiful in appearance, but not in the offer !! I absolutely have to go back when I make another trip to New York !!!
