Bar none: This is the finest bar in NYC, and also voted best bar in the world for several years. The first floor is a draft room and the 2nd floor is the parlour with bespoke cocktails. They also have very good pub food and a very good brunch on weekends.

Pros: This is a whole 'nother level of beverages. House-made bitters, bespoke cocktails with a depth you didn't know was possible. It's seriously something special I can't underscore enough.

Cons: This place gets very crowded and draws a lot of tourists. Wait times to get to the parlour can be an hour or more - but it's worth it.

I had this gin cocktail that blew me away. For the first time I felt like the bitterness of the liquor added to the flavor positively. But of course the main event was the music. We went to see a local jazz band perform and they did not dissapoint. The staff (even the bouncer) are all friendly and the crowd is young but not obnoxious. This isn't a typical watering hole. The gaslamp's best kept secret.

One of the best cocktail menus I have ever seen. Some very innovative cocktails that are also unique. The wait for a table upstairs can be up to an hour even at 12:30 AM, so come prepared.

We were lucky to score a couple bar seats in the first room on the first floor on a busy Friday evening with the after work crowd. Very cool and cozy place. We both had amazing food and my girlfriend had a cocktail that she loved. The craft beer selection was a little small for my tastes at this bar but I'm a draft beer guy - and I still found a good one that I liked. I would still go back to try more of the food.

You haven't lived your life until you have come to this place. You're treated like an old friend the moment you walk in; the drinks are absolutely astounding. I don't know why or how this place has a 4.6, other than maybe those people are boring, have no palate, and need a swift removal of a certain stick in a certain place.

Wow, there was nothing that wasn't delicious. Scotch egg was amazing, soup and slides were spectacular. I also had the dead rabbit red ale which I would say was more a brown ale but I loved it all the same.

No TVs!!! No problem. At this awesome, classy Irish Bar. One of the world s best?!! Maybe. My absolute favorite Irish coffee! Mmmm...tastes like whiskycoffeeicecream. Some great decor, art to look at too. Right near the Staten Island ferry. Must have walked past this easily missed spot 500 times. Never again.

This three-story bar has a different theme on each floor. The first floor has a rustic style filled with history. From the saw dust on the floor to the small old-school Polaroid pictures hanging from the ceilings, this floor will win you over while you wait for seating on the upper floors. What a great and historic pub to visit.

Went after work as a group of 5 last night and waited a couple of minutes to be admitted to the 2nd floor (1st floor is always tiny and overcrowded). The cocktails upstairs were simply magic, our waitress knew EVERYTHING about every ingredient and made excellent recommendations. We loved the oysters and steak sliders. It was an expensive night, but one of the best we have had downtown for many a year.

Best sausages I have tasted in years.

I'll be honest - I don't expect good 'pub food' in the US, wonderful place though the US generally is for food. But the bangers here were simply the best sausages I have tasted in years (and my neighbourhood in London has two butchers vying for artisanal sausage primacy).

Aircon was a bit fierce downstairs, but otherwise a great lunch.

One of the best bars in the Financial District (which is seriously lacking in them). If you want an expertly-crafted cocktail, head upstairs to the Parlor. For a beer, stay at main level Taproom.

Amazing craft cocktail bar!!! Bartenders are truly amazing and have a gift for making unique and delicious drinks. It's not a big wonder why it is always rated one of the top bars in the world. The Bushmills Irish coffee is to die for.

Fantastic, from start to finish. Definitely lived up to its hype. Staff was exceedingly Hospitable. Water was always full, constant attention to guests while creating 3+ cocktails at the same time. If I were you, I would hunker down here and stay a while, you can read their menu which tells a story of imbiblical proportions!

Went with 4 of us on Tuesday evening. Was nice time to go and only had to wait 5 mins to get to the parlour which was well worth it on the 2nd floor. Fabulous cocktails in a great atmosphere. Previously when came here was very busy on other nights. Top class place.

Absolutely great spot for cocktails. Whether you are out on a date night or looking for a place to chill with a group of friends, this is the place. I didn't get a chance to check out all the rooms, but the the top floor room definitely had great ambiance!

A bonny wee lass with a beautiful irish accent servered us. She made great selections with cocktails and served very fine Guinness along with the beautiful rabbit stew, it was fantastic. The decor in the building is just amazing you can see the pictures.

Loved this place! Hostess asked if we were eating or drinking and told us there were 3 open stools at the end of the downstairs bar. Attentive bartenders and Fun diverse crowd. We had already eaten dinner so only ordered drinks. Irish coffees were perfect!

Best CUBAN sandwich we have ever had! We went twice while in NYC. They serve you cocktails (aka mini margaritas) when you sit down complimentary. Cocktails are great, fantastic atmosphere. Honestly love this place! Octopus was fantastic! Menu is gorgeous and adorable.

Order the Cuban and one to go! AmaZing!!!
