Awesome place. One of a kind. Excellent servers that do very well at their job!
Best cocktails in New york city and a must for any traveler
Really cool intimate bar on 3 floors. Only Guinness Stout is served on draft. Nice vibe. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.
Great place to grab a drink on the lower side of Manhattan
Great drinks! Very crowded and boisterous ambience!
Bar none: This is the finest bar in NYC, and also voted best bar in the world for several years. The first floor is a draft room and the 2nd floor is the parlour with bespoke cocktails. They also have very good pub food and a very good brunch on weekends.
Pros: This is a whole 'nother level of beverages. House-made bitters, bespoke cocktails with a depth you didn't know was possible. It's seriously something special I can't underscore enough.
Cons: This place gets very crowded and draws a lot of tourists. Wait times to get to the parlour can be an hour or more - but it's worth it.
A top top pub, good drinks and good service. Nice ambience and food looked excellent
Great cocktails and food. Also love the atmosphere.
Exceptional food and drinks. Staff are absolute pros. We loved it.
Good spot for food and drinks. The ppstairs is nice and a bit quieter. The downstairs is more of the bar scene.
A very quaint bar with an amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty food and drinks.
This is a great place with amazing music and cocktails!
I had this gin cocktail that blew me away. For the first time I felt like the bitterness of the liquor added to the flavor positively. But of course the main event was the music. We went to see a local jazz band perform and they did not dissapoint. The staff (even the bouncer) are all friendly and the crowd is young but not obnoxious. This isn't a typical watering hole. The gaslamp's best kept secret.
The whole experience was fantastic. The venue offers a lot more than just a cocktail bar. The staff were well informed and friendly.
Great cocktails and beers on tap. Friendly bartenders and a cozy atmosphere
Had the irish coffee and hat trick. Hat trick was great.
Visited Fri evening I think. The staff was very sociable and kind. It has a cool atmosphere.
Quintessential (but upscale) happy hour spot. Restaurant-quality appetizers and vintage mixology in a charming, 3-story Victorian pub.
One of the best cocktail menus I have ever seen. Some very innovative cocktails that are also unique. The wait for a table upstairs can be up to an hour even at 12:30 AM, so come prepared.
We were lucky to score a couple bar seats in the first room on the first floor on a busy Friday evening with the after work crowd. Very cool and cozy place. We both had amazing food and my girlfriend had a cocktail that she loved. The craft beer selection was a little small for my tastes at this bar but I'm a draft beer guy - and I still found a good one that I liked. I would still go back to try more of the food.
You haven't lived your life until you have come to this place. You're treated like an old friend the moment you walk in; the drinks are absolutely astounding. I don't know why or how this place has a 4.6, other than maybe those people are boring, have no palate, and need a swift removal of a certain stick in a certain place.
Great bar, excellent atmosphere and attention. The food is tasty and the drinks menu is very varied. Is not cheap but the quality is guaranteed
Sunday night Irish seisun. Like a quick trip to Dublin! Really authentic lamb stew. Crowded and loud, and not too big. Fun atmosphere. Nice servers. Good spot!
Food looked and smelled great, didn't have time to get Decent enough Guinness $9 a pint.
The Best !!
And now twice the size of the original
Wow, there was nothing that wasn't delicious. Scotch egg was amazing, soup and slides were spectacular. I also had the dead rabbit red ale which I would say was more a brown ale but I loved it all the same.
Amazing authentic Irish breakfast. Great brunch specials, cocktails, and beer. And the best Irish coffee I've EVER had!
Crazy crowded and a popular tourist spot. If you can grab a table it's a fun experience.
No TVs!!! No problem. At this awesome, classy Irish Bar. One of the world s best?!! Maybe. My absolute favorite Irish coffee! Mmmm...tastes like whiskycoffeeicecream. Some great decor, art to look at too. Right near the Staten Island ferry. Must have walked past this easily missed spot 500 times. Never again.
The bartender saved my wet cold day with long pour casa amigos and sweet IPA. Thank you and I shall be back.
This three-story bar has a different theme on each floor. The first floor has a rustic style filled with history. From the saw dust on the floor to the small old-school Polaroid pictures hanging from the ceilings, this floor will win you over while you wait for seating on the upper floors. What a great and historic pub to visit.
Went after work as a group of 5 last night and waited a couple of minutes to be admitted to the 2nd floor (1st floor is always tiny and overcrowded). The cocktails upstairs were simply magic, our waitress knew EVERYTHING about every ingredient and made excellent recommendations. We loved the oysters and steak sliders. It was an expensive night, but one of the best we have had downtown for many a year.
Lovely oyster happy hour. Grab a table upstairs for a buzzing atmosphere with cozy corners. Downstairs is a bit mad; get a buzzer and wait for a spot where you can talk!
Who ever likes to eat, my suggestion is that he must try the dead rabbit its really amazing and delicious. The service was good the taste marvelous really liked the place..
Best sausages I have tasted in years.
I'll be honest - I don't expect good 'pub food' in the US, wonderful place though the US generally is for food. But the bangers here were simply the best sausages I have tasted in years (and my neighbourhood in London has two butchers vying for artisanal sausage primacy).
Aircon was a bit fierce downstairs, but otherwise a great lunch.
Great staff, great fish and chips and a lovely building.
Excellent place to drink and eat. If the first floor is too crowded, wait for a table to be available on the second floor. It is worth it!
One of the best bars in the Financial District (which is seriously lacking in them). If you want an expertly-crafted cocktail, head upstairs to the Parlor. For a beer, stay at main level Taproom.
Amazing drinks and great food, with a decent amount of outdoor, properly spaced seating. You can see that everyone there puts a lot of thought and effort into what they're putting out.
Man oh man. If there is an irish pub to go to before you die.... this is it. Food is awesome and the cocktails are even better. Please do yourself a favor and go.
The best Irish coffee I have ever had. Sweet, smooth with a thick layer of lightly whipped cream floating on top. Great food and atmosphere too.
One of my favorite bars in New York. Make sure to go upstairs if you re there for the amazing cocktails. Expect a line though, this place is pretty popular.
Amazing cocktails, a bit too delicious! Get there early though as it gets VERY busy
There's a good reason this is rated as the best bar in NYC if not the whole country.
Excellent service, food & atmosphere. Worth the wait for the 2nd floor dining room
Extremely crowded, poor service and food was all oversalted.
Amazing craft cocktail bar!!! Bartenders are truly amazing and have a gift for making unique and delicious drinks. It's not a big wonder why it is always rated one of the top bars in the world. The Bushmills Irish coffee is to die for.
Cool place & ambience. Great cocktails. Killer whiskey sour!
Fantastic, from start to finish. Definitely lived up to its hype. Staff was exceedingly Hospitable. Water was always full, constant attention to guests while creating 3+ cocktails at the same time. If I were you, I would hunker down here and stay a while, you can read their menu which tells a story of imbiblical proportions!
Excellent cocktails. Very crowded. Interesting interior ,great vibe
Went with 4 of us on Tuesday evening. Was nice time to go and only had to wait 5 mins to get to the parlour which was well worth it on the 2nd floor. Fabulous cocktails in a great atmosphere. Previously when came here was very busy on other nights. Top class place.
Got seated on St. Paddy's day!! Big score!!! Drinks were AMAZING!! Service was great and dont forget to try the corned beef sliders!!
Love this place. Not sure what's better, the drinks or staff. Top notch
Absolutely great spot for cocktails. Whether you are out on a date night or looking for a place to chill with a group of friends, this is the place. I didn't get a chance to check out all the rooms, but the the top floor room definitely had great ambiance!
A bonny wee lass with a beautiful irish accent servered us. She made great selections with cocktails and served very fine Guinness along with the beautiful rabbit stew, it was fantastic. The decor in the building is just amazing you can see the pictures.
I enjoyed myself very much. If you are looking for craft cocktails, this is the place.
Terrific !!! Good beer, good Morfi and excellent music in the Wall Streep
Loved this place! Hostess asked if we were eating or drinking and told us there were 3 open stools at the end of the downstairs bar. Attentive bartenders and Fun diverse crowd. We had already eaten dinner so only ordered drinks. Irish coffees were perfect!
Best CUBAN sandwich we have ever had! We went twice while in NYC. They serve you cocktails (aka mini margaritas) when you sit down complimentary. Cocktails are great, fantastic atmosphere. Honestly love this place! Octopus was fantastic! Menu is gorgeous and adorable.
Order the Cuban and one to go! AmaZing!!!
Had a great time in November was recommended to try here by my clients and its was amazing place I tell all my friends when they go to New York this place is a must
It's a real seeing man and generally a good bar. I don't know if it's best bar in the entire world but who am I to say.
Best Sazerac I'd had in a long time, ask for the cognac version, also great ambiance. Always made it a point to stop in when in town.
Great little place. Food, drinks and service could not be better.
