Good small hotel in Saltlake. Good food, good location.

A hotel of its kind needs to be better at the service and in ambience. De Sovrani is just an average hotel with above average food and average environment. I personally do not recommend going there if you can afford better and trusted hotels.

Value for money..nice ambience and neat place. Well appointed rooms with required stationery...

The ambience, the atmosphere, the staff everything is fantastic but the food isn't upto the mark. I would recommend a casual snacks or drinks only !

Rooma are up class. Food is upto the mark. Rooms are approx 4k plus taxes per night with complimentary breakfast.

I stayed here for more than 4 months on a business trip. Excellent hospitality and food. Especially the dosa was ultimate. I use to hang around city center which is very close.It was really a fantastic experience over all.

Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and amply big. Hygiene wise it was 5/5. Restaurant is also good and provided variety in the breakfast menu. I didn't get bored of the food even after staying for a week. All the basic amenities were present in the hotel and certain things they provided after request. Swimming pool is there on rooftop but it's not functional and only serves as decoration for the rooftop restaurant. Overall happy with the hotel and would like to visit again when in Kolkata.

Attended an interview in the lounge section. Decoration and ambience is fine

Went thrice and everytime it's very satisfying. Also good to small programs and corporate group meets. Breakfast are awesome.

Nice place for night stay and for transit journey in flight. Takes half an hour to reach airport.

The behaviour of staff at buffet counter were extremely rude and unprofessional .. they were treating the guest as they were serving in a langar ... The purposely delaying the order which were placed ... The experience was not a day .. Me and my family stayed there for 10 days collectively .... Apart from them rest of the staff were very polite and helpful .. rooms are excellent and well maintained ... The whole ambience of hotel was very refreshing ... Only dissapointment was the restaurant section and their staff behaviour

Horrible service, the staff do not know how to speak to their guests, they made me feel as if they did a favour by having me stay at the hotel even though I paid for the room. Be very careful as they will find weird ways to charge you for things that you cannot imagine. They made me change rooms to accommodate other guests, giving silly excuses, then I was locked out from my own room for more than 2 hours, they could not fix the lock. It was a really bad experience and I would not recommend this hotel or its unprofessional staff at all.

Stay was only good because of a friendly restaurant staff Sarfaraj who was very friendly and cooperative.
Stay was worst as I was locked outside my room frequently.

Nice Hotel to Stay. Situated at Centre Palce near Salt Lake. Staffs are very friendly. There is a Swimming Pool at the Top Floor. Rooms are very Clean.

Rooms are good...Roof top cafe with swimming pool is a attraction...Food is nice...so all in all it's worth the price.

Hotel is good located, but rooms are very small & cant turnaround. food quality is also good

We had a buffet dinner here, the food served was tasteless and quality of the preparations was poor, I would advise the management to increase the price if it is not sustainable and not to compromise on quality.

Staff is polite at the time of check in but during check out they behave as though one has stepped on their tails.
